Notes: Okay decided not to do flashbacks yet. I also decided to use a couple of the Rangers from my Surprises fic.

Ryan pulled his box out of the back of the supply truck. "Thanks for the ride," Ryan said to the guardsman who had drove him to Angel Grove.

"No problem sir," he said as he started taking boxes out of the back of the truck.

Ryan stood surveying the new camp. He had left Angel Grove after burying Tommy. He needed time with his wife and youngest son. He never told them that Tommy had died again. He decided it would be best for them to keep thinking Tommy was killed in a blast. Corey was too young to understand and his wife would have been devastated. He looked in the side mirrors of the truck and thought he saw more gray hair. This whole thing had aged him.

He turned back around and walked over to what looked to be the headquarters. He walked up to Steve Park. "Hey Steve." He greeted.

Steve turned around in surprise. "Ryan!" he exclaimed. "I didn't expect to see you back so soon. If at all."

Ryan honestly hadn't thought he'd come back either but the attack in Los Angeles, which he wasn't near had reminded him Tommy would have wanted him to continue the fight for him. There were a lot of innocent people on the moon too.

"Yeah I saw the attack in Los Angeles and thought I'd better come back."

"Yeah it's been pretty quiet here." He dropped his voice. "I saw Jason near the lake last week. He wasn't doing anything but sitting and staring at the lake. He was garbed up in all the black but he didn't have the mask on. I didn't approach him though. He didn't stay long." He cleared his throat before looking away. "Adam heard Jason was near Tommy's grave too."

Ryan didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. Jason had been Tommy's best friend but he had been covered in so much blood he couldn't help but wonder if Jason had any part in it.

"Where are they?"

"Who? The Rangers?"

"Yeah. I want to talk to Zordon."

Ryan walked through the camp after talking to several of his fellow officers as he looked for the Rangers. He finally found Billy standing with a girl he didn't know who had long brown hair. He supposed she could have been a member of guard but she just didn't quite look like it. He couldn't put a finger on what it was that seemed off.

He approached them. "Hey Billy," Ryan said causing Billy and the girl to turn around.

"Mr. Oliver!" Billy exclaimed in surprise. "I didn't know you were back."

"I just got here. Can I talk to you for a moment?" he asked before smiling at the girl who was staring at him with a frown on her face. "I'm sorry miss it'll be just a second." Ryan said.

"I'll be back Tatem." Billy said.

"Is he…" she started to ask.

"I'll explain later," Billy said as he and Ryan walked away.

"I want to see Zordon," Ryan said as soon as they were in a secluded place.

Billy just nodded and teleported them to the Command Center.

When they landed, Ryan looked up at Zordon unsure of what to say. He wasn't going to yell or try not to. He still held Zordon responsible for what happened to Tommy a few months back but he needed answers first.

"MR. OLIVER," Zordon said in surprise. "AGAIN I'M…"

"I am not here for your apologies. I want to know what you're doing to stop Vile because I want in."
