Hi everybody, sorry it took so long, my computer is very slow (though it is to be expected, I had this computer for about 5 years...or maybe more).

As soon as I come to this world, I am playing on a game that has the computer mouse instead of the game control. It's called Mario Paint and it is based on my friend Mario. I have fun pressing on the letters where lots of different things happen with each letter. I start the game by pressing on Mario. It shows two guy doing workout and then a handstand. Now I can do whatever I want. I can colour things in, make a drawing, I can even make music. There's this thing that I didn't understand at first, it's where you can make your own moving story. I also find pictures that are already made. I thought I saw my friend, the little flying ship with wings in those pictures but I took a closer look and saw that it was the bottom half of Mario. I can make a Mario picture on here by paint both the head and bottom of Mario together. And you can make your very own little picture which you can use as many times as you want. I make a picture of a toy that I really want. I saw it on TV and they looked very fun. You can change the music but I don't do that as I like the first music the most.
There's this game you can play where you have to hit all the flies. The little flies are no problem, it's the other flies that are the problem. There're the yellow ones that spit out lots of very little flies that hurt you, bomb flies that blow up, blue flies that fire red balls in four directions, and the very big robot flies that are the bosses of each stage. It's easy at first but then gets very hard on later stages. You can get 1-up by hitting the falling 1-up. It will get harder getting more 1-up later in the game. I can only make it to the third level.
I love cleaning up my pictures. There are different ways for you to clean up. There're the rockets that flies up; getting rid of your picture on the way up, the water one where my picture get washed out, the moving one where spots of your picture moves away, the one that changes to different colours before disappearing, the one with lots of lines going down, another one with moving lines, and the one that looks like the picture is going toward you. There's this big robot when you press on the 'save' and 'load' button. I don't understand what they mean. It plays this big robot that collects colourful little things and putting in the hole. It plays a different music when you use the robot.
The part where you can make your own music, it is fun but I don't know how to make my own music. It's a good thing this game has three music that are already been made. Two of the music are fun while the other one is nice and soft. Each picture does different sounds like the Yoshi one does the Yoshi sound. I laugh at one music because it is funny with the cat and dog sound. It is very funny when I change the music with the star pictures. I change all the stars into cat which makes the music sound like the cats are singing. I notice that the sound change depending on which line you put the picture on.
The game has pictures that you can colour in. There's the animal picture with lots of animals that you can colour in. There's a water one with lots of fishes in it. A birthday cake picture where you can cut out the things at the side and put it on the cake and then colour them in. And my favourite one is a big picture of Mario and Yoshi. This reminds me of the adventure I had when I first met Yoshi. I have just finish colouring in.
"Julie, that's a wonderful picture! You coloured them in really good." I turn to the voice and see Mario smiling at me. He was watching me coloured in the picture of him and Yoshi.
I smile back at him. "Mario!"
"Julie, would you like to go kart?"
"Go kart?"
"We're a having a race, it will be a fun race. Would you like to try?"
"Yes!" I go with Mario.
When we get there I see the princess, Toad, Luigi, Bowser, a Koopa, and a monkey in a small car. They are racing around. As soon as they finish, Mario talks to them. I wait until they are finish talking. They get me into a car. I'm so happy! This is my first time driving a car. Mario and Luigi tell me how to drive the car. Peach and Toad also tell me how to use the items that you can get when you go over the yellow question mark boxes on the floor. Now that I know how to play, I go to the first stage to race the others.
Racing the others is very hard especially when they are driving very fast. As soon as I go very fast, I crash right into a green pipe. I am still not used to driving the car. You drive slower when you are off the road as I keep driving off a lot. Mario drives to me and pushes me back onto the road. There is a banana on the road and I am driving toward it. Luigi quickly drives in front of me and crashes into the banana which causes the banana to disappear. Luigi spins around and stops for a bit before he goes again. I did okay, I make it to the finish line but I didn't make it to first.
There's a nice green stage full of grass. While driving I notice that the princess and Toad have these mushroom items that will turn anyone that touch it very small. Koopa accidentally drives into one and turns very small. He tries to drive fast but the others are driving really fast. One of them runs over the small Koopa. The Koopa becomes very flat and floats in the air as he falls to the floor. He stops being flat and goes back to his normal size. I find that very funny. I want that item but every time I get the mushroom item, I can't throw it. Instead, I end up going too fast that I end up crashing into the colourful wall.
I keep falling down in the Boo's house. It's a good thing Lakitu is there to help me, he catches me with his fishing line and puts me back on the floor. I find a very cool shortcut in this place. First I need the feather item and then I keep driving until I get to this certain area. I use the feather to jump over the big hole and onto this small floor. The feather item makes you spin jump really high. I have only been able to do this shortcut once.
In Bowser's castle, I have to be careful when jumping over the lava. There these yellow lines that make you jump when you run over them. And there're these yellow arrows that make you go really fast when you drive over them. I drive very fast that I crash into the Thwomp. I see Toad who accidentally drives under the Thwomp just as the Thwomp comes down. He gets squished and is as flat as a paper. He floats in the air and lands on the floor. He goes back to normal and carries on driving.
There this stage that looks like the first stage but is different. I slip on oil that is on the road. I also miss the jump and have to go back around again. It's a good thing Lakitu is here as he tells me that I was going the wrong way. Yoshi helps me to turn the right way. I collect as many coins as I can which you can get from the floor or in the question mark boxes. Collecting coins will make you faster.
In one stage I keep going off the road and crashing into the Piranha Plants. I think it's because this place is made of chocolate. I like the chocolate so much that I keep driving off the road. Also, I keep making my car crash before I start the race. I think it's because I keep pressing on the go for too long. Mario tells me that I need to wait till the light is nearly green and then I can press the go button.
In a beach stage, Lakitu grabs me before I can fall in the water. I happy he did that as I can't swim. The others just fall in the water when they go off the beach. I can see where they are just by the bubbles in the water. I see that they are still moving underwater. I find that funny. Lakitu will help them out when they are stuck there for several minutes.
I love the colours of this stage. It is like a rainbow. It's beautiful in this dark sky full of stars. When I look up I remember seeing this sky in one place when I was with Luigi back when I first met Yoshi. This stage is very hard. I keep falling off. There is nothing at the sides to stop you from falling. The others help me by making sure that I stay in the middle of the road so that I don't fall off. Everybody is very nice to me, even Bowser. Bowser helped me once when I nearly fall into the ice water. Bowser quickly bumped me away from the water with his car.
Mario and the others are very good with racing. I watch them race really fast. There are always five stages to race to win a cup. When they finish it all, the winners go on this white platform. Only the first, second and third get on the white platform. The fourth just stay at the side in the car. Bowser came fourth once and he didn't look happy. I think he was crying a little bit. A big flying Cheep Cheep flies over and gives the cup to the winner. Then the winner accidentally pops the Cheep Cheep with the bottle and the Cheep Cheep flies away into the sky.
I had so much fun with them. I wave goodbye to them as I go back home.
Ahhhhh, good memories! Mario Paint and Super Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo. I love messing about with Mario Paint.
Oh and the part with Bowser coming in fourth place, I actually did that. I was curious about what would happen if you get fourth place as I noticed that there are only the first, second and third. And so I tried my best to finish all the races in fourth place. It was very hard but I finally did it using Bowser.
