Hello everyone, sorry I haven't upload any chapter. I'm still working on my next chapter but it taking more time than usual due to me having busy weeks. I have been more stress out than usual (don't worry, playing video games help me to relax). It's going to take a while.
Till then, I found a complete chapter that I wrote several years ago. I came up with this story when I was reading on a Sonic the Hedgehog website. One of the articles was about less known Sonic medias. One of them is a little animation that I first watched when I played Sonic Jam on the Sega Saturn. It said since there was no sequel even though the ending said to be continue, this means that Eggman won… WHAT?! That is not right! I was not happy with that so I made this story.
And what do you know, what good timing. I watched the Sonic movie last Friday (my youngest sister wanted to watch it so me and my big sister had to take her even though we don't want to watch it). It was okay. Jim Carrey performance was great and funny...but I felt it didn't portray Eggman really well. I don't know, it felt odd. The new characters were okay too. Some of the jokes were funny but I felt they missed some opportunities to reference the Sonic games. Sonic's personality was a so-so for me. The new story was okay but at the same time it doesn't make sense. I guess I prefer the games than the movie. There were parts that I like and some parts that I don't like but it was an okay movie.
My older sister hopes to see more about the Echidnas (her favourite character is Tikal from Sonic Adventure) and maybe see Knuckles and Tikal in the next movie if they do another. I would like to see Amy in it but I doubt it. I do like to see more of the new owl character. I was really sad that she sacrificed herself to protect Sonic at the beginning of the movie.
Anyway, here's a chapter that take place...around the time when the Sega Saturn came out.

Me, Darkwing, Crystal, the Bombermen, Bomberlady, Speedy, Guido and Polly are in Sonic's world. We are walking around the place and see posters saying 'Man of the Year'. On the posters are Sonic.
"Yeah Sonic!" I cheer.
"It should be me on the Man of the Year Award," says Darkwing.
Speedy says to Darkwing, "You can't enter it since this is not your world, Darkwing. And beside if anyone should be in it, it will be me."
"But you can't enter since this is not your world," Darkwing playfully argues back.
"He got you there," says white Bomberman. We all laugh.
"Hey! There's Sonic! Let's congratulate him," says Polly.
We all go to Sonic who is with Tails and Amy. We all congratulate him. "Yeah, I'm so happy for you Sonic!" I say.
"Count yourself lucky Sonic because if I was allowed in that award, I would have beaten you," says Darkwing.
Sonic smiles at Darkwing. He crosses his arms and gives a playful look that says 'I like to see you try'.
"In your dream Darkwing, nobody can beat Sonic in this award," says Amy.
I look around and notice weird posters everywhere. I walk toward it and look at it. It said 'Sonic, Worst Man of the Year!' The picture on the posters does not look like Sonic.
I hear Guido saying, "Looks like Sonic is showing off again."
I look to see Sonic quickly running to the group of people. I watch as everybody boos him. Sonic looks confused and doesn't know what is happening.
"That's a strange way to cheer," says Darkwing.
"That's not cheering. Something is wrong!" says black Bomberman.
"I'll tell you what's wrong! They're criticizing my Sonic!" shouts Amy. She runs in to help Sonic.
"Maybe they're jealous that he won the award," says Guido.
"No, that's not it! Look!" I show them the posters.
They all look at it. "How did that happened?!" asks white Bomberman, surprised.
"Oh no, they're taking Sonic away!" shouts Tails. He quickly runs to Sonic.
I look to see policemen handcuff Sonic. Tails is trying to defend Sonic by telling the policemen that Sonic is a good guy. The policemen do not listen and put Sonic in the police car.
"NO!" I shout. We all run toward the police car. "You can't do that to Sonic! He's a hero!"
"He's nothing but a menace!" one of the people shouts.
I look at them. "He is not!" I angrily shout at them.
"Good riddance, we don't want a troublemaker like you here!" another person shouts.
"Sonic is not a troublemaker! He will never do that!"
"Bye you lousy hedgehog!" a different person shouts.
"Stop it!"
I am about to shout some more at the people but I am grab by black Bomberman. He carries me away. We are in an empty place but I couldn't see properly because I was crying so hard.
Bomberlady gently pats me on my back to calm me down. She gently says, "Julie, calm down."
"They said…horrible things…to…Sonic!" I say in between sobs.
"I know but shouting at them will not help. It only makes it worse," Bomberlady explains to me.
"Let me go! Why did you drag me away?! Sonic needs our help!" Amy shouts at Darkwing.
"Sorry Amy but we can't do anything about it. If we stay any longer then we'll get into more trouble," says Darkwing. "And we couldn't stop the police. If we try, they'll arrest us too. Nothing good will come out of that, I should know."
"We're just going to leave him?!" shouts Amy.
"No, of course not!" shouts Darkwing.
"I really do not like this," says Crystal.
"It's…not fair…why did they…do that?!" I cry.
"It'll be okay, Julie. We'll get Sonic back," Polly reassures me.
I look at the poster that has 'Worst Man of the Year' on it and say, "That…looks nothing…like Sonic!"
Amy looks at the poster. "And you're right! That does not look like Sonic!"
"If anyone deserves to win Worst Man of the Year, it will be Robotnik," says Speedy.
Darkwing walks to the poster. "I agree." Darkwing takes out a marker pen and draws onto the poster. He draws a big glasses and a moustache on it to make it look like Robotnik. "There we go." We all look at it.
"Hey! Wait a second!" shouts white Bomberman. He looks closely at the poster. "That's Robotnik!"
"Of course it's Robotnik, I drawn him on the poster," says Darkwing.
"No Darkwing, look closely at it," says Guido.
"What?" Darkwing asks in confusion. He carefully looks at the poster. Darkwing's drawing of Robotnik matches the poster.
"Robotnik must have found out that Sonic was awarded with the Man of the Year," says Tails.
"He dressed up like Sonic and gone around causing troubles to give Sonic a bad reputation," says black Bomberman.
"They actually couldn't tell the difference between Robotnik and Sonic?!" asks a shocked Darkwing.
"That must be a really good disguise," says Crystal.
"We got to tell them!" I run only to stop as the top of my dress get pulled. I look behind to see Darkwing holding the top of my dress.
"Whoa there, we can't just walk right in there and tell them!" Darkwing says to me.
"We got to-"
"What Darkwing is saying is that they won't believe us," says Guido.
"Why?!"
"Because we're Sonic's friends, they'll think that we are lying to help free our friend, Sonic," says black Bomberman.
"But we're telling the truth!"
"We need to prove it to them," says white Bomberman.
"That's right, Bombermen! This is what we're going to do." Darkwing waves his hands to signal us to get closer. We all move in close to hear Darkwing's plan. "We need to prove that Sonic is innocent, right?"
We all reply, "Right!"
"And to do that, we need to catch Robotnik in the act. Here's what we'll do. We need to set up a trap for him."
"Wouldn't that be a problem, I mean Robotnik has already ruined Sonic," says Polly.
"Polly has a point. Robotnik has no reason to dress up as Sonic now that he ruined him," says black Bomberman.
"Then we'll give him a reason! We're going to persuade the police into freeing Sonic and then set up a trap for Robotnik," says Darkwing.
"What kind of trap?" I ask.
"Leave that to me."
"Where are we going to set the trap and what are we going to use to lure him?" asks Guido.
"I heard they're revealing a special statue in the park later. It's supposed to be a symbol of all the good things in the city," says Bomberlady.
"That's perfect!" says Darkwing.
"But why would Robotnik go for that?" asks Crystal.
"Maybe to ruin Sonic even more?" says Speedy.
"We'll spread about posters saying that Sonic is free and that he's trying for the Man of the Year award," says Darkwing.
"That will get Robotnik angry enough that he'll ruin the statue in order to make Sonic look bad," says Tails.
"Julie; you, Amy and Crystal will go to the police station and convince them to release Sonic. You may need to pay to bail Sonic out."
"No problem Darkwing, leave that to us," says Amy.
"Speedy, Bombermen; you're with me. The rest of you, quickly make lots of posters and spread it around. Alright everybody, let's get dangerous!"
We follow the plan. Me, Amy and Crystal quickly go to the police station. Inside, we talk to the policeman in charge.
"Hello, we're here for Sonic the hedgehog," Amy says to the policeman.
"No visitors," replies the policeman.
"But this is important! We can prove that Sonic is innocent!"
"You can't prove anything if you got no evidence."
"We can prove it right now!" Crystal quickly runs out of the police station. She comes back with a poster with Robotnik dressed up as Sonic. "See this poster? This is the Sonic that have been causing trouble for everyone." Crystal grabs a marker and draws a glasses and moustache on the poster so that it looks like Robotnik. "Take a closer look! That Sonic is actually Robotnik in disguise! Robotnik is framing Sonic!"
"That does not prove anything."
"Then we'll pay to bail Sonic out and prove that he is innocent," says Amy.
"No can do, we are keeping Sonic in prison."
After hearing that, my eyes start to well up. "You don't…believe us? You think Sonic is bad?!" I start to cry uncontrollably. "You're…going to…keep Sonic in…jail! You don't…want us…to prove that…Sonic is…innocent!" I cry in between sobs. "You hate Sonic! You…won't…let us…help him!" I cry very hard.
The policeman looks surprised. "Wait little girl! Don't cry…I didn't mean it like that."
Crystal and Amy pat me on my back to calm me down. "Why can't you…let Sonic go?! You're going…to let Robotnik win!" I cry so hard.
All the policemen and policewomen look at us. The policeman feels so guilty for making me cry. "Look, I'm just doing my job," says the policeman.
"You are not doing a good job," says Crystal.
"Darkwing said…that we can get Sonic…out…if we pay the bail," I say, still crying.
"That is right," says Amy. "You are not doing your job."
"But… Alright, but it would cost you a lot," says the policeman.
"How much?" The policeman shows Amy the price. "Whaaat, that much?!"
"He's not coming out without paying for all the damaged he caused," says the policeman.
"Sonic did not do that!" I shout.
"You do not need to worry, I got this," Crystal says to me and Amy. She goes over to the policeman. "We do not have any money but I am sure this will suffice." Crystal gives the policeman very pretty crystals. "These are very pure so they should go for a very high price should you sell it to the jeweller."
"They do look very pure. Alright, he's free to go but if he causes any more trouble-"
Amy and Crystal smile. "He won't, just come to the park and we'll prove that Sonic is innocent," says Amy.
Sonic is now release from prison and we run to the park. Sonic smiles at us and gives us a thumb up. He looks at me carefully. He looks at Amy and Crystal and points at me.
"Julie started crying when the policeman refused to release you," Crystal says to Sonic.
Sonic pats me on my back to calm me down. We hide in the bushes. Sonic gives us the 'why are we here' look.
"We're waiting for Robotnik," Amy quietly says to Sonic. "We're hiding in here so that Robotnik won't know that we are here."
Sonic looks unhappy when he hears Robotnik had framed him. He stands with his feet together, his elbows bend and his arms straight. Looks like Sonic is trying to copy Metal Sonic.
"No, he didn't use Metal Sonic to frame you. He just dressed up like you."
Sonic is shocked when he hears that. He has a confused look that says 'how did they confuse me with Robotnik?!'
Tails, black Bomberman, Bomberlady, Guido and Polly hide in the bushes with us.
"You made it," whispers Tails.
Sonic is happy to see them. He looks around and notices something missing. Sonic points at each of us and then spread his hands out as if telling us that we are missing something.
Tails knows what Sonic is saying. "Darkwing, Speedy and Bomberman are setting up the trap for Robotnik. We just finished spreading these posters around." Tails shows us a poster which says 'Sonic's trying to make amend, still possible for him to achieve Man of the Year award'.
"Robotnik will not like that," says Amy.
Polly notices my eyes are red. She asks, "What happened to Julie?"
"We offered to pay for the bail but the policeman would not take it. He refused to release Sonic. That upset Julie and she ended up crying because of that," Crystal explains.
"Oh Julie, come here." Polly gently pats me to calm me down.
"Julie, you shouldn't cry too much, your eyes are going all red." I look at Polly. Polly continues talking, "You should never cry over the littlest things like wanting more sweets or want to buy toys that you really want."
I nod at Polly. We wait in the bushes. All the people read the posters. They all got annoyed and say bad things about Sonic.
"What?! This can't be right! They shouldn't have release him!"
"That troublemaking hedgehog, they should have lock him up and throw away the key!"
I do not like how they said that. I'm about to do something about it until Crystal covers my mouth and pulls me down.
"Sorry Julie. We need to follow Darkwing's plan so that means that we need to stay hidden," Crystal tells me. Everyone calm me down and reassure me.
"It's starting," says Tails. We all look and see them take off the cloth to reveal the statue.
"What's that coming this way!" shouts one of the people.
We look at the direction where the people are looking. We see something blue going very fast toward the statue.
"Oh no, it's Sonic!" shouts one of the people.
"He's here to damage the statue!" shouts another person.
"Now I know why they can't tell that is Robotnik. He is moving too fast," says Crystal.
"Robotnik must be using one of his machines to make him go faster," says Tails.
Sonic is about to run over to the statue but Amy grabs onto Sonic to stop him. "Wait Sonic, you'll get into trouble."
"Where's the trap?" I ask, worried.
"Come on Darkwing, now is the best time to use it," says Guido who is also worried.
Robotnik rushes toward the statue. We all panic as Robotnik gets closer and closer and closer and…
BANG!
Robotnik crashes into an…invisible wall? We couldn't believe our eyes. Robotnik is splatted on the invisible wall with his arms spread out. All the people are amazed by what happened.
"Wow, this hardened glass is great! Look, it didn't break and there's no scratch on it!" says Darkwing, playfully. "And look how clean it is, you could never tell if is there!" He walks across the glass and stops at where Robotnik is. "Oh no, would you look at that. A bug has splatted on my clean glass." Me and my friends laugh when Darkwing says that.
"Let's see who we have here," says Speedy. He jumps onto Robotnik and pulls the disguise off.
Me and my friends laugh really hard at how funny Robotnik look on that hardened glass. Robotnik looks ridiculous. The people gasp when they see who it is.
"Why is he dressed up like Sonic?!"
"What's going on here?!"
"There's the real Sonic!" shouts white Bomberman as he points at where we are.
Everyone turns to look at us.
"He's right! There's Sonic!"
"The real Sonic!"
"That evil scientist Robotnik tricked you into believing that Sonic is bad. He framed Sonic to kick him out of the Man of the Year award," Tails explained.
"You annoying little pests, I'll show you!" Robotnik shouts and uses his rocket shoes to flies off the glass.
Robotnik quickly rams Darkwing, Speedy and white Bomberman. Darkwing, Speedy and white Bomberman are sent flying across the sky and crash into the tree. We all rush toward them and check them to see if they are okay. Robotnik makes his escape. Sonic chases after him.
"Sonic!" I shout. I'm about to follow but Amy stops me.
"Don't worry, Sonic will beat him," says Amy.
We all tend to Darkwing, Speedy and white Bomberman. After a while, they recover and Sonic returns to us.
"What happened to Robotnik?" Tails asks. Sonic shows us what happened by running around. He points at his shoes and does a funny pose that looks like he is being pulled at a really fast speed. "I see, so Robotnik's rocket shoes overloaded and sent Robotnik flying off."
"Hopefully he'll crash into his hideout," says Darkwing.
We all laugh. All the people come over and apologize to Sonic. After that, we walk around the city.
"Now that's all sorted, we can carry on with the Man of the Year Award," says Darkwing
"It's already finished. It's too bad Sonic didn't win because of Robotnik," says Guido
"Robotnik really messed it up," says black Bomberman.
"That's not fair! Sonic should have won the Man of the Year Award!" I say. Sonic shakes his head. "What Sonic? You mean it doesn't matter that you should win the Man of the Year Award?" I says to Sonic. Sonic nods his head. He then waves his hand in front of him. "There's more important thing than that? What's that?"
Sonic jumps on Tails and Speedy. He wraps his arms around their necks in a friendly way and smiles at all of us.
"Having the coolest friends who believe in me, that's the best thing. That is what Sonic is saying," says Tails.
"What about me?" Darkwing sadly says. I think he feels left out when Sonic gave Tails and Speedy friendly hugs.
Sonic quickly runs over to us and give all of us a high five. We all smile at that. We walk around and go into a museum. We see awesome drawings of Sonic in this museum. Some of them are based on our adventures with Sonic while others are very different. There're drawing of Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and our animal friends that we rescued from Robotnik. We go into another museum which has all the information about Sonic and the others. It tells us about them and their adventures. Another museum has music and advertisement video on cool Sonic merchandises. There're these videos based on our adventure when Robotnik chained the little planet to the mountain. I remember that adventure, it was the first time we met Amy. The intro video is cool and the music playing is so cool too. And the ending video is cool as well. I like the music for it. I can imagine Crystal singing this music, and Sonic and Darkwing playing the drums and guitar. Later, I watch Sonic do different challenges like collecting rings, run past posts, collect certain items and other things. He has to do it as fast as he can. After finishing all that, we go back to our homes.
Ahhhh, Sonic Jam... I love seeing those artworks and videos. I was a bit disappointed when I finished that game. I thought the challenges were just warm ups for the real game. Once I went through the ring at the end, I thought I'll go to the real game where we used everything we learned to go through different stages and beat Eggman. Oh boy was I wrong. I ended up watching the credits and thought, "What?! Is that it?!" Oh well, at least we can play the old Sonic games.
I actually made two versions of this, the other one was called 'Who Framed Sonic the Hedgehog?!' which the title of the chapter is a reference to Roger Rabbit. It's basically the same as this chapter but the difference was that in that version, Sonic talked and was not muted.
