What start off as playing video games and watching cartoons, movies and anime turns into an adventure where I have to help the heroes beat the villains and save the worlds. Mainly video games but it has a bit of cartoons and anime crossover in it.

63. Resistance Forces

Hi everybody, sorry I haven't been able to work on my next chapter. I have been suffering from depression, a really bad case of it. Don't worry, I am over it now. Will try my best to work on the next chapter.

Till then, I found this chapter nearly finished. I worked on this chapter when I first played Sonic Forces (I finally brought it for a good price as I heard it wasn't good). I thought the game is okay, not too good but okay. I had problems with some of the gameplay (got sent flying off the stage for no reason), and I don't understand some of the story plots (Shadow said that they are copies with no soul yet Zavok talked like the original. What's up with that?!)

I hope you enjoy this. I am very pleased with this chapter (I came up with good ideas that I never thought I could ever come up with. Must be from watching all those cartoons and anime as well as playing video games and reading comics).

This take place after Super Mario Maker 2 and Dragon Quest 11 (Not done those chapters yet)

Author note: I forgot to explain about the link rings. I was going to explain this when I get to a certain chapter but as you can see, some of my chapters are not in the right order. The link rings are based on the rings in the Knuckles' Chaotix game. Sad thing is that I never played the game (I did get a chance to play a bit at the Play Expo) and I never own the 32X so I never got the game. I did have a magazine that focus on that game. I kept reading it and wanted to play it. The link rings act like that, they are rings that can magically link up with another ring. We can link them up at any time and use them to slingshot each other at the bad guys. They also help us to keep up with Sonic, Tails and Amy. Think of it like water skiing, we use the link ring like that and keep up with them.

"There we go, all sorted out," says Darkwing.

"Thanks for the helping hand," says Speedy.

"No worry," I say.

We are in the Samurai Pizza Cats' world. We are helping them sorting things out.

"I see Sonic, Tails and Amy are still not here yet," says Darkwing.

I look around and don't see them. "They must be doing something in their world," I say.

"Then let go and see them," says Speedy.

We all go through the portal to Sonic's world. We are in what looks like a dessert.

"That's weird, why are we here? The portal should have dropped us near Sonic," says white Bomberman.

We look around but couldn't find Sonic. Instead, we find lots of Eggman's robots. We beat the robots and free the animals.

"Looks like Eggman is at it again," says Guido.

"Still no sign of Sonic, Tails or Amy," says black Bomberman. We hear something. "Sounds like someone is fighting over there," says black Bomberman. He points to where the sound is coming from.

Starry Bomber flies up and goes over to that place. She quickly flies back to us and says, "Everyone, come quick!"

We quickly follow Starry Bomber. We see different animals being attack by… "Chaos?!" I shout. I don't know what's going on! Why is Chaos here?! Didn't he go back to the Master Emerald?

"Chaos? That sounds familiar… And don't I recognized him from somewhere?" says Darkwing.

"He turned into a big water monster and sunk the whole city in water after getting all the Chaos Emeralds," I say to Darkwing.

"Oh yeah, now I remember… Wait a second, didn't we beat him already?!"

"You can take a guess who behind this," says Guido. He points at Eggman's robots that are attacking the animals.

Darkwing runs in to help a light green and brown female hedgehog. She screams when Eggman's robots come toward her. She fires her spikes out. She misses all the Eggman's robots. One of her spikes ends up hitting Darkwing.

"Ouch!" Darkwing shouts as he jumps up into the air and back down. He pulls out the spike from his back.

"Sorry!" the female hedgehog quickly says. She does a light cough and says, "…I apologized for that." I notice that she changed her tone of voice after she said sorry.

Darkwing is about to say something but didn't as he has to dodge the robots' attacks. Darkwing uses his gas gun to hide in the smoke and then beats up the robots while in the smoke. I turn around and see a white possum trying to run away from the robots. He trips over his feet and falls down on his face. White Bomberman and Starry Bomber use their bombs to beat the robots. They go over to the possum to see if he's okay. I'm worried as the possum is lying still on the floor. I hear shouting and turn to the voice. I see a small light and dark green bear walking backward away from the robots. He looks very worried as the robots surround him. Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman run over and quickly beat the robots.

"Wow! I owe you one! I-I- oh no!" says the bear. He sounds like he's about to sneeze. He sneezes which blows away Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman.

I watch, wide eyes and surprised. Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman are flying across the sky to the side of a hill. The bear flies in the opposite direction to the other side. I then hear someone saying "Bless you". I see a yellow cat up in the tree as the robots try to climb up but fail. Polly uses her charm to hypnotize the robots to her. She then gets her claws out and scratches them. Crystal beats up more robots that are attacking a dark purple and white bird. Quiverwing backs her up using her bow and arrows.

Me and Kat power up and go to help the two girl dogs that are being attacked by Chaos. We dodge Chaos' attacks. He stretches his arms and tries to attack us. I saw that attack before. I dodge his attacks. Chaos then turns into a puddle and moves around. I know I saw that before… Oh, now I remember. He's attacking the same as when I first saw him all those years ago. I wait for Chaos to go back to normal and then I quickly attack him with a kick. He falls down and turns into a puddle again. He moves away from me and goes back to his normal form. He tries again to attack me with his arms. I dodge his attacks by jumping to the side. I run in to attack him but he dodges me by turning into a puddle and moving away from me. I watch as he moves away and goes back to his normal form. I dodge his attack again and run to him. He dodges me again by turning into a puddle. He moves away from me again and tries again to attack me. I dodge his attacks. This time I use my lightning magic and fire it at Chaos. Chaos gets hit and turns back into a puddle. Only one more hit and then I beat him. Chaos jumps about and tries to attack me with his arms. I quickly run away from his attacks. Chaos jumps toward me. I quickly jump back and hit him with another lightning attack. I beat Chaos. Chaos disappears very weirdly, some kind of red stuffs flickering on Chaos. I've never seen that before.

The two girl dogs softly growl happily at me. I see the bear running back in. After beating all the bad guys, the two girl dogs grab me by my arms. They growl loud and wave their hands, signalling for everyone to move. We all follow them as we go toward where Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman are. Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman join us and we follow the two girl dogs. We make it to the end where it is safe.

"My bad, I can't control my sneezing," the bear says to Speedy, Guido and black Bomberman.

"You really need to watch where you're aiming," says Speedy.

"Yeah, my bad."

"We should be safe here in the Green Hill Zone," says the yellow cat.

"Wait, did you say the Green Hill Zone?! This is the Green Hill Zone?!" says Darkwing.

We all look around, shocked at seeing what happened to the Green Hill Zone. It is no longer green. It's yellow and brown with sands everywhere.

"This looks more like Sand Hill Zone than Green Hill Zone," says Speedy.

The purple bird looks closely at us. "Hold on, aren't you Sonic's friends?! The team of heroes from different worlds?" says the purple bird.

"You heard of us? Then you know who I am," says Darkwing.

"Yeah, you're Sonic's friends that helped him on his adventures."

"You don't know my name, do you?"

"I know the human is Julie."

"You know Julie's name but not my." Darkwing sounds really sad as he lowers his head. Speedy pats him on his back.

"We should introduce ourselves…" The hedgehog coughs and then says in a different tone, "We can do the introduction if that helps."

"Why did your voice changed tone?" Polly asks.

"Kiwi always does that. She tries to sound mature," says the yellow cat.

"Mango! I have to be mature," says the hedgehog.

"Lighter up Kiwi."

We all smile at them. We start to introduce ourselves.

"I'm Julie."

"And I'm Kat, a talking kitten."

"We're the Bombermen. And this is Starry Bomber," says white Bomberman as he points at Starry Bomber.

The light turns off and the Samurai Pizza Cats do their intro. "Guido's the name, the name of the game is speed," says Guido as he moves his parasol.

"My name is Polly and nothing can outrun the power of love we have for our worlds," says Polly as she blows kisses.

Next is Speedy. He says, "Speedy here, if there's something wrong then we're set it right because-"

And all together they say, "We're the Samurai Pizza Cats!"

After that, the blue smoke appears. "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the weird looking custom made character that fuels your nightmare! I am Darkwing Duck!"

"And I'm Quiverwing Quack!"

"Do not forget the crime fighting princess, Crystal Royalfeather."

"I'm Kiwi… (coughs) My name is Kiwi the Porcupine," says the hedgehog. She does it again, she changed her voice to sound mature. Oh, she's a porcupine. I thought she's a hedgehog.

"I'm Mango the Mountain Cat," says the yellow cat.

"Melon the Panda Bear," says the light and dark green bear. Now that I look at him, he does look like a panda bear.

"Grape the Swift," says the dark purple and white bird.

"Lychee the Opossum," says the white possum.

"Possum?" I say. I think I hear it right.

"No, Opossum. There's a difference."

"Really?"

"Yeah, opossum and possum are two different species," says Lychee. Wow, I didn't know that!

Both the girl dogs growl happily and wave hello to us. "And this is Berry the Wolf and Cherry the Dog," says Mango. As she says their names, she points at the blackish blue coloured wolf and the reddish pink coloured dog. "They twin sisters and they don't talk much."

"Ah, the silent protagonists," says Darkwing. "Wait, one of them is a dog and the other is a wolf? And they're twins?"

"Their mother is a wolf and their father is a dog," says Kiwi.

"Okay… Now the next question, what's going on?!"

"Eggman has succeeded in conquering our world," says Grape.

"What?!" me and my team all shout. I don't like the sound of that.

"There's this scary new bad guy in town that destroyed our town," says Melon. "We couldn't do a thing against him."

I look and see the sad looks on their face. "Who is this scary new bad guy?" I ask.

"He looks like a jackal wearing a mask," says Grape.

"We just ran away," says Melon. "It was the scariest thing!"

"We all did," says Mango. "I…just don't know what to do."

"We're going to beat him, that's what we going to do!" says Darkwing.

"How? He already beaten Sonic," says Grape.

"What?!" me and my team all shout together. We couldn't believe what he just said.

"Did I hear you right? Did he beat Sonic?" Darkwing asks.

"I heard from someone that Sonic got beaten by Eggman's new creation. That jackal guy… He beaten Sonic," Grape says to us.

"This is very serious if he beaten Sonic," says Guido. "Where's Sonic now?"

"I don't know. I can try to get more information." Grape takes out a small tablet computer from his waist bag. He types in it.

We try using our wrist communicator to contact Sonic and the others… Nothing, this doesn't look too good.

"Looks like their communicators might have gotten broken," says white Bomberman. "We can't get in touch with them."

"Well, we can't just stand here doing nothing. We got to beat Eggman and free this world," says Darkwing.

Berry and Cherry nods their heads as they agree with Darkwing.

"We want to help too but…" says Mango.

"You don't know how to fight, right?" says Darkwing.

Berry and Cherry nod their heads as the rest their friends reply, "Yes." They all look so sad.

"Hey, don't worry about it. When I first started, I didn't know how to fight," I say to them.

"Oh yeah, you always get into troubles and we had to protect you," says Darkwing.

"You still protecting me as I still get into trouble," I say and smile at my friends.

"And yet, you're a capable fighter thanks to us."

"That's because Kat gave me power I used to fight bad guys."

"You learnt some self-defence from me."

Both Berry and Cherry growl and point at us. They talk with their friends. Their talking sound like animal grunts

"You think that would work?" Lychee asks. Both Berry and Cherry nods their head. Lychee turns to us and says, "Can you guys please teach us how to fight? We all want to help out." They all look at us with a look that says 'Please'.

I look at my friends and then at Berry and her friends. "Of course we will. We will do our best to help you fight," I say to them.

"Do you have any special abilities?" white Bomberman asks.

They all look at each other. "Not really," says Mango. "I can climb up trees, walls and ceiling but that about it."

"What about Melon? He can sneeze the bad guys into next week," says Speedy.

"My bad, I can't control-control- oh no, not again," says Melon.

We all duck for cover as Melon sneezes. All the sands and trees get blown away and Melon flies backward.

"And there we go again," says Mango.

"Does he always do that?" Guido asks.

"Yes."

"Didn't one of you shoot something at me?" says Darkwing.

"That's an accident…! I am sorry. I was scared and shoot out my quills by instinct," says Kiwi. Again, she changes her tone after she said the first sentence.

"I don't think porcupine can shoot quills out like that."

"Yes, that is true but I was born with that ability."

"You could use that to fight those villains," Crystal says to Kiwi.

"I don't know how," says Kiwi.

"Practises make perfect, we'll keep practising until you get the hang of it," says Polly.

Melon comes running back in. We all say, "Bless you" to him.

"Thanks," says Melon. Darkwing gives him a tissue. Melon takes it and wipes his nose with the tissue.

"Do any of you have any weapons to fight the bad guys with?" Guido asks them.

"Only one, I already ordered more but we have to wait," says Grape.

"Then we wait for them to arrive," says Speedy.

"Stick with us, you can learn a thing or two just by watching us," says Quiverwing.

"I'm picking up a signal!" Grape shouts. He points at his small tablet computer.

We all listen to it. "This is great news!" That voice… It's Knuckles!

"I knew Sonic's okay!" That voice, it's Amy.

"Knuckle, Amy!" I shout.

"Julie?!" I hear both Knuckles and Amy shout.

"Looks like we can communicate through this," says black Bomberman.

"Bomberman?! Are you all there?" Amy asks.

"We're all here," says Starry Bomber. "What's happened?"

"Eggman won and has taken over," says Knuckles.

"Yeah, we heard Sonic was beaten," says white Bomberman.

"And taken prisoner. According to my spy, Eggman imprisoned Sonic in his Death Egg," says Knuckles.

"We got to get Sonic out!" I say.

"Agree. We need to get there as soon as possible. Where are you guys?" I don't recognize that voice.

"Green Hill Zone," says Grape.

"Great! That's close to Chemical Plant Zone."

"Julie, you and your friends must go to Chemical Plant and borrow a shuttle," says Knuckles. "Take it to the Death Egg and free Sonic."

"Come on, let's go!" I say.

We rush over to the Chemical Plant Zone. We run along the pipe to the end. I ride on my flying board and fly across the huge gap. Starry Bomber carries Bombermen over to the other side. The Samurai Pizza Cats call for their robot birds. The robot birds come through the portal from the Samurai Pizza Cats' world. The robot birds go to the Samurai Pizza Cats and transform together with them to enable them to fly. The Samurai Pizza Cats help Berry and her friends to fly across the huge gap. Darkwing, Crystal and Quiverwing use the floating machine to grapple on and swing over to the other side.

"Wow! That's amazing!" says Melon.

"We got grappling tools on our wrists too," says Grape.

"Really? In that case, watch and learn," says Darkwing. Darkwing shows off his skill with his grappling gun.

We receive a call from someone. "Espio here, I heard you are going into the Chemical Plant. Be careful, there're enemies guarding that place."

"No need to worry Espio, we got this," says Speedy.

"No, wait! Watch out! The masked one's here! The monster that took down Sonic!"

"What perfect timing, time to show him who's boss," says Darkwing.

"Stay focused, you need to find a shuffle and get to the Death Egg," says Vector.

"Right, we need to save Sonic. Come on guys!" I say.

We beat Eggman's robots and follow the path. We collect rings and use the spring to bounce up to the top. Darkwing uses his grappling gun to hook onto the small round thing and swing across. Berry and her friends copy Darkwing and swing across.

"Not only can you use your grappling tool to swing across huge gap, but you can also use it to tie up bad guys," Darkwing says to Berry and her friends.

We go forward where we find lots of bad guys. They are blocking our way.

"This is the perfect time to test out the Wispon," says Grape.

Cherry uses a red arm gun machine. It is a flamethrower and Cherry uses it to burn down the bad guys in front of us.

"Nice work Berry," says Speedy.

Cherry gives Speedy a confused look.

"Speedy, her name is Cherry not Berry," says Mango.

"Oops, sorry Cherry."

I look behind and see Lychee having problem catching up to us. "Are you okay?" I ask him.

"Sorry to drag you all behind, I'm always tripping over my feet," says Lychee.

"If you need any help, just ask, okay?" I say.

"Thanks, I really want to help and not drag you all down."

"You can start by not tripping over your feet," says Kat.

"Kat," I say to her.

"We don't want him to trip into danger."

"Yeah, I know. He just need…um…" I am trying to think of the right word. "Balance, he needs good balance."

"I have excellent balance and control on all four paws." Kat jumps out of the bag and walks around playfully on her four legs. She then jumps back into the bag.

We quickly beat the bad guys and carry on forward. We jump up to the top floor and quickly run forward, going round a loop. Darkwing shows off his skill and uses his grappling gun to hook onto the round thing. He swings around and jumps over to the other side. Me and the Samurai Pizza Cats fly across and make sure nobody fall down the big gap. We all make it to the other side. We keep going forward, beating all the bad guys that are in our way. We ride on the rail to the next place. We jump off the spring where Darkwing, Berry and all her friends use their grappling tools to hook onto the round thing and swing around it before jumping onto the floor.

"Nice," Darkwing says to them.

"Thanks to you, we're been watching you," says Grape.

"As you already know, you can use it to get to hard to reach places."

We find the red Wisp in the capsule. "It's the Wisp!" I say.

"Wisp? Aren't they those creatures we found in the lost world?" says Darkwing.

"They're actually aliens captured by Eggman for his amusement park." I look at Darkwing and notice a confused look on his face. I then remember. "Oh yeah, you weren't there when we did that. You left the team when we first met them."

"Wisp…? Wait, I read that the Wispon can harness their power. This one should shoot you into the air using explosion," says Grape.

Cherry goes over to the red Wisp and gets it. The Wisp goes into her Wispon. She then jumps into the air and fires her weapon to the floor. It doesn't shoot fire like a flamethrower. Instead it causes an explosion that sends Cherry up into the air. Cherry uses her weapon again to shoot herself high into the sky. She collects line of rings. She comes back down when she runs out of power.

"Wow Berry! It's like you were flying," says black Bomberman.

Cherry gives him a confused look.

"You got her name mixed up, she's Cherry," I say.

"We got to stop with the name mix up. Julie, how do you remember?" Kat asks me.

I look at them. "Their names matched their colours," I reply.

"Now that you mention it, aren't panda bear supposed to be black and white? Those colours make you look like a watermelon," says Darkwing.

"I was born like this. My parents said that I'm unique," says Melon.

"Mango is my favourite fruit. My mummy always buys the juicy ones. They are always yellow," I say. "And lychee is my sister's favourite. She usually makes a mess when eating it. Oh and my other sister loves kiwi."

"Grapes come in different colours," says Crystal. "And berries come in different varieties."

"And fruits are good for you. You really need to eat more fruits," Darkwing says to Quiverwing. He gives her that look that says 'I'm talking to you young lady'. Darkwing then realizes something. "You're all named after fruits?! And you're the colours that matched your names?! What a coincidence," says Darkwing.

"That's what we have in common," says Lychee. "We became best friend very quick when we first met."

"Didn't we all meet at the same time?"

"Yeah, I remembered," says Melon.

We make it to the top floor where Darkwing, Crystal, Berry and her friends swing across the gap using the round thing. The Samurai Pizza Cats fly across and I use my flying board to fly across. Quiverwing gets on my flying board and holds onto me. Starry Bomber carries Bombermen across. We watch as Darkwing, Crystal, Berry and her friends land on top of the moving train. Berry and her friends fall off the side of the train. Darkwing and Crystal grab them by the hand and pull them up to the top of the train. The train is going into the tunnel.

"Quick, swing out!" Darkwing shouts.

Darkwing, Crystal, Berry and her friends use their grappling tools and hook straight up. We follow them as they fly upward. They fall near the train track where a train is coming toward them.

"Yikes! Quickly, over there!" Crystal shouts.

They quickly fire their grappling hooks to where Crystal is pointing and pull themselves away from the train. That was very close. They swing over to the floor on the right. We go over there.

"Cutting it a bit too close," says Speedy.

"That was dangerous," says Grape.

"Well, as I always say-"

Before Darkwing can finish talking, Melon says, "Are we there yet?"

"Why do I keep getting interrupted?" says Darkwing.

Yeah, I notice he kept getting interrupted every time he tried to say his catchphase. We go forward where we jump over spikes and beat more bad guys. We go around the loop and up the wall. Me and the Samurai Pizza Cats help the others to get to the top. We follow the path forward. We jump up the platforms to the top and jump across more platforms to the other side. We beat more bad guys and follow the path forward. We go through the red ring which sends us flying to the rails. We ride the rails. We jump through the rings at the end of the rails and jump over to the end. The Samurai Pizza Cats turn back to normal and their robot birds go back to their world. We go into the shuffle and make our way to the Death Egg in space.

"That's a very good first try," says white Bomberman. "You guys did great!"

Cherry and Berry happily grunt and give us a smile. Mango and Kiwi clap each other hands. Melon shouts happily and jumps about. Grape smiles and is taking pictures and video with his mini tablet computer. Lychee is doing handstand and running around on his hands.

"Lychee, you're not tripping over yourself," says Starry Bomber.

"I like going upside down and I have no problem moving around like this," says Lychee.

"I noticed that you kept up with us by running on all fours," says Guido.

"Kat is right, I have good balance and more control when I'm on all fours."

"Isn't it easy to walk around like this," says Kat. She jumps out of my bag and walks around Lychee.

Lychee walks on all four. He and Kat both smile at each other. Kat raises her paw for a high five. Lychee high fives Kat. I smile at them. We make it to the Death Egg. We beat the bad guys and follow the path. We go deeper inside. We find the prisons with different animals trapped inside.

"Sonic, where are you?!" Speedy shouts.

We all shout for Sonic, no reply. We use the computer to free all the animals. They all quickly go out.

"I didn't see Sonic," says Darkwing.

"Are we too late?" says Melon.

"Let me check on the computer. Maybe we can find out what happened to Sonic," says Grape.

Darkwing quickly pulls Grape away from the centre computer as someone jumps in and attacks. He destroys the centre computer. We all jump back. It's that villain, the leader of the group of bad guys in the lost world. I can't believe it, how is he back? I thought we beat him.

"Oh great, the Bowser wannabe," says Darkwing. "Why are you here?" The villain says nothing. "What's wrong, cat got your tongue?"

The villain jumps onto a big bee robot. He punches his hands together and roars at us.

"Get ready to fight!" I say

I look at my friends and then at Berry and her friends. Berry and her friends look…scared. Little bee robots show up and attack us. We beat them and collect the rings. I see that Berry and the others are confused and shaking. I don't think they face a boss like this before and I don't think they know what to do. The big bee flies down and shoots lasers at us. We quickly grab Berry and the others and dodge the lasers.

"Don't just stand there, dodge!" Speedy says to them. "Run around them, jump over them, just don't let the lasers hit you!"

After the lasers, the big bee flies up. Lots of little bee robots appear around us.

"What do we do?!" says Mango. She and her friends are really scared.

"Attack them with your special abilities or with any fighting skill you got like Quack-Fu," says Darkwing. He jumps in and kicks the bee robots.

I stunned some of the bee robots with my magic boomerang. The bee robots are so dizzy that they are seeing little robot birds flying around their head. Bombermen and Starry Bomber blows up those dizzy robots with their bombs. The Samurai Pizza Cats throw their ninja stars at the bee robots. After all the robots are beaten, I look and notice a big shadow below us.

"Keep moving, he's trying to drop on top of us!" I shout. I point to the shadow on the floor.

We keep moving away from the shadow as it chases after us. After a while, the big bee drops down. We all move all of the way except for Lychee who tries to run on his two feet. He trips over his feet and falls down.

"Lychee!" his friends shout.

The Samurai Pizza Cats quickly jump in and together they use their swords to stop the big bee attack. They hold their sword against the big bee stringer and push him back. The big bee tries to push down. Darkwing quickly runs in and moves Lychee out of the way. Starry Bomber carries Crystal and throws her on top of the big bee. Crystal knocks out the villain with punches and kicks and then jumps off. Bombermen throw bombs at the villain. The big bee flies back up.

"Lychee, you need to be careful. Tripping up during a fight can be dangerous," I say.

The little bee robots show up and attack us. We beat them and then dodge the lasers from the big bee. Lychee is trying his best to dodge it but keeps tripping over his feet.

"Lychee, go on all fours!" Kat shouts.

Lychee listens and runs away from the lasers by running on his hands and feet. He perfectly dodges the lasers. After the lasers, more little bee robots appear around us and attack. Me and my team attack and beat them. I hear a noise that sounds like someone is about to sneeze.

"No Melon, you'll fall off!" I hear Kiwi shouts.

I look and see that Melon is about to sneeze. Darkwing quickly runs to him and gives him a tissue. Melon puts the tissue on his nose and sneezes into it. He didn't go flying backward.

"Thanks," Melon says to Darkwing.

"Incoming!" black Bomberman shouts.

We run around as the shadow follows us. We make sure to avoid the shadow. After a while, the big bee falls down and misses us. The Samurai Pizza Cats jump onto the bee and hit the villain several times. They then jump off as Starry Bomber throws Darkwing at the villain. Darkwing does a flying kick to the villain right in his face which knocks the villain out. Darkwing then flies off the platform as the big bee flies away. I hear Darkwing says, "Uh oh" and then a scream. He shoots out his grappling hook that goes up and onto the platform. Me and Bombermen quickly go to the grappling hook and pull it up. We pull Darkwing back up onto the platform. The edges of the platform fall down. We shout, "Yike!" and quickly run to the middle of the platform.

"Oh boy, the battle arena just got smaller!" says Darkwing.

Little bee robots show up and we beat them. We quickly grab Berry and her friends and quickly move out of the way as the big bee quickly flies across the floor. He is trying to ram into us and burn us with its fiery body. Kiwi gets scared by that, she accidentally shoots out her quills. She hits some of the little bee robots but also hit Guido and Bombermen. Guido and Bombermen jump up while shouting, "Ouch!" They help each other to pull out the quills. The big bee tries to fly into us several times. After that, he flies up into the air. We move out of the way of the shadow and wait for the big bee to come down. Once the big bee comes down, Darkwing and Crystal jump onto the big bee and hit the villain several hits. Darkwing gives him a friendly wave while Crystal blows a kiss to him. They jump off. Speedy has finish setting up his Cat's Eye Slash and fires it at the villain. It hits the villain and the big bee. The big bee blows up and the villain is knocked out on the floor.

"And that's how you do it," says Speedy.

The Samurai Pizza Cats does their finishing pose when we win the fight. The villain disappears the same way as Chaos. What's going on?! Grape goes to the centre computer. He tries to use it but can't.

"No good, it's broken. We won't be able to find Sonic," says Grape.

"You mean they already…" Mango couldn't say it

Berry and her friends are shaking. They look scared. Is it because the bad guy beaten Sonic and now Sonic is… I look around to see if I can find Sonic. The whole place is shaking. Is this place falling apart?! The door that we came in closes up. We try to open it but the door won't open.

"The door is closed, looks like we need to take a different route," says white Bomberman.

Darkwing looks at Berry and her friends. "Come on, shake out of it! We got to get out before this whole place come down!"

We go through another door and follow the path. We quickly run forward as the ceilings come down on us. We jump onto the rail and ride it outside. Lots of flying robots are blocking our path at the end of the rail. We bounce off the spring at the end of the rail and jump onto the flying robots. We use the flying robots like a stepping stone and jump from robot to robot. We go to the middle rail and ride it to the next floor. We beat the bad guys and make our way to the top. More flying robots fly in and block our path. We quickly jump on them and use them to get across. We go back inside where we quickly run across. We make it before the ceiling can come down on us. We break the box and use the spring inside to get to the top floor. We jump up the platform. We walk onto this line of squares. The line of squares moves up and turns into steps that go upward. We jump up to a platform where there's another line of squares. We go on it to make the squares move up. They remind me of those square things in the Chemical Plant Zone. We jump our way to the top. Starry Bomber watches us and helps us whenever we fall down. We make it to the top where we bounce back out into space.

We bounce off the little round rocks and ride on the rails. Three flying robot fly in front of us. They are flying over the three rails. They fire lasers toward us. We dodge the lasers by jumping to a different rail. Luckily, each of the robots shoots at different times so we can avoid the lasers. We go around and keep riding the rails. We dodge the lasers from flying robots. We move to the left rail and bounce up into a building. We jump up the steps. It's very dark in here. We jump down the hole and walk onto the line of squares. It goes up and at the top of the square is a spring. We bounce off the spring to the top. We break the boxes below us and move to the left. We get hit by the guns on the wall. They shoot out dangerous balls of electricity. Just like Sonic, Berry and her friends lose rings whenever they get hit. We help them get some of the rings back. We break more boxes below us and fall down onto a spring. We bounce up where Darkwing, Crystal and Quiverwing help us swing over to the top right using their grappling hooks. We jump down and quickly run across till we hit the wall. The ceiling is coming down on us. I look up. I trip and fall down onto the floor. I accidentally break a box below us. We quickly break the boxes and go down. We go to the right and bounce back out into space and onto the rail. We ride the rail. Lots of red flying ships fly near us.

"Looks like our rides are here," says Speedy. He points at the flying ships.

I see my friends smile at each other. I think I know what they are doing. We grab Berry and her friends and jump onto the flying ships. We fly across until something shoots us all down. We fall down into a hole. I power up into my battle outfit and get my magic ready. As soon as I see the floor, I use wind magic to make a tornado on the floor. We all fall into the tornado and gently fall onto the fall. We look around.

"Isn't this the entrance?" says Grape.

"And there is the shuffle," says Crystal. She points at the shuffle.

We go into the shuffle and go back to the planet. We make our way out of the Chemical Plant Zone where we see an egg robot riding on the ladybug robot. He speeds past us while waving his hand at us.

"Is he asking for a beating?" says Darkwing.

"Wait! Isn't that one of the good egg robots?" I say. "I think he wants us to follow him."

"You're way too trustee Julie. Fine, we'll go with him but I'm keeping an eye on him."

We follow him to the Mirage Saloon Zone and go inside. We see Knuckles with the Chaotix and Silver. Silver… He was the one talking on the communicator. I didn't recognize his voice. They are looking at the map on the table.

Knuckles sees us and goes over to us. "You're back! Sorry we asked you to do that. After everything you did, you-"

We all look very sad. "I can't believe we're too late," says Speedy.

"Um, Speedy-" Knuckles says but gets interrupted again.

"What are we going to do?!" says Melon.

"I don't know," says Mango.

"I don't think there's anything we can do," says Grape. Berry and her friends all look very sad.

"Guys, I'm trying to tell you-" Knuckles gets interrupted by Darkwing.

"Sonic, he's a great guy. The speediest hedgehog I ever known, the coolest hedgehog I ever known, a bit rebellious but he always does what's right," says Darkwing. He sounds like he is choking up. He is very sad. "He's…he's..."

"Go on, say it," says a voice.

"He's a hero and I'll miss him!"

"Aww, Darkwing, I never knew you felt that way about me."

We turn to the voice and see Sonic. He's okay!

"We've been friends ever since we met, of course I'll miss you when you're gone!" says Darkwing. Darkwing stops and does a double take. He looks at Sonic again. "Sonic, you're okay?!"

"Hey there," says Sonic. He waves to us.

"Do you know how worried we were?! Where were you?!" Darkwing shouts at Sonic.

"I came here after escaping."

"What?! You know what a rescue mission is right? How are we supposed to rescue you if you already escaped?"

"That's a very good question."

"Knuckles, why didn't you tell us sooner?" Polly asks.

"I was trying to tell you but you kept interrupting me," says Knuckles.

We all wipe our tears away.

"Yeah, I should have known you're going to be okay," says Darkwing.

The leader of the egg robots gives us a big plate of ice creams. It a pile of different flavoured ice creams. It's very colourful. One side has chocolate sauce and the other side has raspberry sauce. There're colourful sweet sprinkles on top of the ice creams. The leader gives us spoons. We thank him and take the spoons. I start with my favourite, mint ice cream.

"Come on, take a bite. It's delicious," black Bomberman says to Berry and her friends.

Berry and her friends are looking at us and the ice creams. The ninja egg robot gives them spoons. They take the spoons and try the ice creams. They all smile and shout in delight at the taste.

"I heard of this and they were right! This is the best place for ice creams!" says Grape.

"All those different flavours, wow!" says Melon.

Silver comes in. I give him a spoon and he eats some ice creams. "I didn't know these egg robots are good," says Silver.

"They weren't at first. They were always trying to get in our way," says Darkwing.

"If I remember, the leader fought Eggman," I say.

"And Sonic at the same time," Darkwing says to me.

"And they were ignoring Eggman when we first met them."

"That might be the reason why they're letting us use their place as a hideout. They too are against Eggman," says Knuckles.

"Aren't they…I don't know…? They're not on Eggman's side or on our side," says Darkwing.

"That would make them neutral. They're only sided with us to save their home. Mirage Saloon Zone is their home," says Vector. He comes over to us.

"Is this the only place that Eggman hasn't conquered?" Guido asks.

"Yes, Eggman taken most of the places…included our home," says Lychee.

"Survivors?" Knuckles asks.

"Yeah, they want to help us fight Eggman," says white Bomberman.

"Great, we could use all the help we can get," Knuckles says.

"They're still new to fighting," says Darkwing. "When we fought that Bowser wannabe, they were shaking pretty badly."

"I was like that when we faced the main villains," I say. "They're not used to it. With practises they'll get used to fighting.

"Julie, I think you meant to say they'll have more confidence to overcome any obstacles," says Kat.

"Thanks Kat."

"We've been showing them the ropes," says Speedy.

"So Sonic, heard you got beaten," says Darkwing.

"Pretty badly but I'm ready for a rematch." Sonic takes a spoon and eats some ice creams.

"That's Sonic for you, you can't keep him down," says Speedy.

"We heard what happened," says white Bomberman.

"So you heard that I got beaten down by Shadow, Chaos, Zavok, Metal and Eggman's latest creation?" says Sonic.

"Wow, Eggman overdone it. Sending Shadow, Chaos, Zavok, Metal and his latest creation at you, isn't that a bit…overkill?" says Darkwing.

"I thought it was only Eggman's latest creation that beaten you. I didn't know they got involved. Wait, Shadow is working for Eggman?!" says Speedy. He sounds really shocked.

"I thought Shadow is on our side," I say.

"I know you just came back but right now we need you!" says Knuckles. "Our intel indicates Eggman got a weapons factory in Green Hill pumping out munition for his war effort."

"We can't take out Eggman's home base in Metropolis if he got a factory supplying him," says Silver.

"No problem, I'm ready to go. Time to get back at Eggman," says Sonic.

"Did he torture you?" Darkwing asks.

"Yeah, with his boring monologuing. At least you make monologue more interesting. Eggman on the other hand repeated the same long speech over and over and over again, every single day. He did change some few words once in a while but it's always the same thing."

"Oh Sonic," I say. I feel sorry for him. He had to listen to Eggman insulting him every single day. I look and see Berry and friends looking at Sonic with wide eyes. "Are you okay?" I ask them.

"It's really him, it's Sonic!" says Mango.

"Looks like you got fans," Darkwing says to Sonic.

"Hi there, I'm Sonic."

"Oh my gosh! He's talking to us!" says Kiwi. She coughs and says in a mature manner, "It's an honour meeting you."

Sonic looks confused by the way Kiwi just spoken. We introduce Berry and her friends to everybody.

"Sonic, you take the lead. Rookies, you go with him and take good notes," says Knuckles.

"Cool! Thanks Knuckles," says Melon.

Berry and friends go with Sonic. I want to go with them but Darkwing stops me. We sit back down and carry on eating ice creams. I see Silver going out.

"Did you see the look on their face?" says Starry Bomber.

"Yeah, they're really happy to go with Sonic," says white Bomberman.

"We'll let them bond with their hero," says Guido.

Ah, that's why Darkwing stopped me. Yes, it is nice for them to work with Sonic. And as Knuckles said, they can learn from him. We finish the ice creams and pay the egg robot leader rings for the ice creams. Tails flies in while carrying Omega. What happened to Omega? We go over to Tails.

"Tails, what happened?" we ask him.

"I found Omega in one of the cities. I tried to fix him but…" Tails looks very sad.

"Tails, are you okay?" says white Bomberman. He and black Bomberman pat Tails on his back.

"I tried…I tried to help Sonic…I flew in and grabbed Sonic but…when I tried to fly away… He attacked us. I was sent flying outside the city… I don't know what happened to Sonic."

"It's okay Tails. What happened after that?" black Bomberman asks.

"I looked around, trying to find out what Eggman was up to. Then I found Omega in one of the cities. I couldn't fix him. I got attacked by those…creatures. You know, it was those creatures when Sonic turned into a werehog. There were too many of them so I grabbed Omega and flew away. I went to other places but they weren't safe. Then I found my way here."

"It's a good thing, heard this is the only safe place," says Guido.

"Every time we try to take back the city, Eggman will send him to get the city back under his control," says Espio.

"Him, who's him?" says Darkwing.

"The one who defeated Sonic."

"Then we need to beat him and Eggman," I say.

"Easier said than done, we know nothing about him or his power," says Vector.

"And it will be difficult. Sonic is gone," says Tails.

"You know Sonic's back, right Tails?" says Speedy.

"Sonic is alive?" says Tails.

"As well as he could be. Apparently, Eggman tortured him with his monologuing," says Darkwing.

"But Sonic is alive! That's great news!" says Tails. He looks very happy.

"He's on a mission with the newbies… Well look at that, here he is."

We turn to the door and see Sonic with Berry and her friends.

"Sonic!" Tails runs over to Sonic and hugs him.

"Hey Tails, how you're doing?" says Sonic.

"I'm okay. I'm so glad you're okay."

"So Sonic, how well did they do?" Darkwing asks.

"It was awesome, we worked well together," Sonic replies.

"You should have seen it, we went boom and zoom and bang and-and-" Melon is waving his arms about to try to show us what they did.

Berry and Cherry nods their heads and growl happily. "They said that it went really well. Sonic taught us some neat tricks," says Mango.

"Sonic, I'm glad you're back. Silver needs help," says Knuckles.

"What happened?" Sonic asks.

"Silver is fighting him in the Mystic Jungle."

"Guys! It's him!" we hear Silver shouting from the communicator.

"I'm looking forward to a second round with this guy!" says Sonic.

"We better go before he gets away," says Tails.

"Actually Tails, we need you here," says Knuckles. "The computer is down and we need you to fix it."

"Okay but it might take some time if we don't have the right parts."

"I can help you with that," says Grape.

"You guys rest here. I'm going after him," Sonic says to Berry and her friends. He turns to me and the team and asks us, "You're ready to go?"

"Sure, I want to see this guy," says Darkwing.

We run over to the Mystic Jungle.

"Eggman's forces are scattering bombs like confetti!" says Knuckles.

"No problem, we got bomb experts here," says Sonic. He looks at Bombermen and Starry Bomber.

Bombermen and Starry Bomber use their bombs to blow up the bad guys and stop their bombs. We keep going forward, jumping across platforms and swinging platforms while beating the bad guys. We bounce on the spring on the right and run down the wood like ramp. Sonic quickly speed boost through all the bad guys and obstacles. We find out that other animals are trying their best to fight back against Eggman. It sounds like they're not doing too good. We got to quickly save them. We follow Sonic as he quickly speed boost through the place. We follow the path and bounce off the spring.

"Watch out! There's an unidentified thing on the radar!" Mango shouts at us from the communicator.

We look ahead and see a very big snake. Sonic homing attacks the big Snake's head and runs along his back. I use my flying board to fly to the side. Darkwing, Crystal and Quiverwing help the Samurai Pizza Cats to swing to the side. Starry Bomber carries Bombermen and flies to the side.

"I guess all the explosion riled it up," says Sonic. "Doesn't look like we'll get past without a fight." The big snake uses his body and throws Sonic into the air. The big snake then eats Sonic. "You're so gonna regret that. Hedgehogs don't make good snacks," I hear Sonic says inside the big snake.

I watch as the big snake quickly moves his head as if something is hurting him. The big snake spits Sonic out and falls back down into the ground. We follow Sonic to the end. We come in just in time. The new villain is about to get rid of Silver. Silver is lying on the floor. Sonic quickly knocks the villain away from Silver. I quickly go to Silver. Kat uses her cure magic to heal Silver.

"Time to tag out, Silver! We got it from here!" says Sonic.

"Well, look who's back from the dead. The little blue savior," says the villain. "I see you brought more victims with you. How lovely, I will enjoy instilling fear into you all."

"What a sadistic guy. Do you enjoy being a bully?" Darkwing says to him.

"Weaklings like you won't understand it and should be wiped out," says the villain. He then turns to Sonic and says to him, "What's that I smell? You reek of fear. Glad to see I left an impression."

Sonic smells himself and then says, "That's not fear. I ran all the way over here."

My team (except for Quiverwing) look in disgust and make the 'eww' sound.

"We don't need to know that Sonic," says Darkwing.

I look at my team. "Isn't it because of the snake?" I ask.

"Yeah, the inside of the snake probably doesn't smell good," says Quiverwing.

"I'll shower when we get back," Sonic says to us. He then says to the villain, "You haven't left an impression. I don't know anything about you. Not even your name."

"You may call me Infinite in the brief moments that remain to you."

"Great! See Infinite, now we're getting to know each other!" says Sonic. He walks around a bit and says, "So, what's your favourite colour? Do you like long romantic walks on the beach? What's the source of your power? You can skip the first two questions if you like."

"The source of my power is none of your concern."

"Sorry, but you've just got to share the secret of your power with me. I insist!" Sonic runs toward Infinite and we follow him.

"Your insistence is futile!" Infinite does something that causes the whole place to go red.

We all float up into the air. "Hey, what's going on?!" white Bomberman shouts.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" Sonic shouts.

"Sonic, you OK?" Silver asks.

Next thing I know, Infinite knocks us all away. We get out our link rings and link it with Sonic's link ring. We follow Sonic as he runs on the tree.

"Still thrashing around I see, you filthy little sewer rat," Infinite says to Sonic.

We collect rings and dodge these red things that Infinite makes.

"Haven't you seen a hedgehog before? C'mon, I'll show you my spines!" says Sonic.

I laugh at that. We dodge some more red things by jumping over them. As soon as we see Infinite in front of us, Sonic uses his link ring to throw us forward. We pull our link rings and like a slingshot, we send Sonic flying at Infinite. Sonic spin attacks right at Infinite which sends Infinite flying back. We catch up with Sonic and follow him using our link rings. Infinite makes thin red things go around the tree. We move around the tree to avoid the red things. We bounce off the spring at the end of the tree and bounce onto another tree. Wait, this tree looks weird. We keep running around the tree, avoiding the red things that Infinite makes. We get close to Infinite. Sonic hits him with his homing attack. Infinite flies backward and we keep going forward toward him. Infinite tries to get us using those red things. We dodge them and slingshot Sonic to Infinite using our link rings. Next, Infinite makes square red things around the tree. Actually…the square is a long rectangle. It blocks two sides of the tree. We need to go through the opening to avoid the red things. We make it through the first one but couldn't get round the second one. We run into the red thing. Everything feels so…weird. I can't tell what's going on. It feels like we're in an unreal dream and I feel like I can't move properly. Everything looks very red.

"Watch out!"

We get hit by a spiked ball. There're more spiked balls rolling around. We do our best to avoid them.

"Where did those come from?!" Darkwing asks.

"Where are we?!" says Speedy.

After a while, everything goes back to normal. "What just happened?" says Guido.

"I have no idea," I say. I don't know what's going on. Did we get sent to another place? Or did we get sent into a parallel world?

We go back to chasing after Infinite. We quickly hit him before we run into the red thing. Infinite flies right into the air. Lots of Infinites appear. Sonic bounces on the spring toward them. He uses his homing attack to attack them. They disappear when they get hit. Those Infinites aren't real. Sonic bounces across them using his homing attacks. The real Infinite is hiding at the back. Sonic hits him with his homing attack. We follow Sonic as we run across the tree.

"You might have more fight in you than those other rabbles. Let's see how many seconds you last," says Infinite.

Infinite makes red things at both sides of us. He then makes the red things close in on us. We quickly jump over them. We slingshot Sonic at Infinite. Sonic hits him.

"Payback time at last," says Sonic.

We follow Sonic as Infinite makes more red things. We accidentally run into them. We back in this weird place where we have to dodge the big rolling spiked balls. After a while, we go back to normal. I still don't know what's going on. We chase after Infinite. We slingshot Sonic over the red things and right at Infinite. Sonic knocks him out. Infinite flies up in the air and makes lots of copies of himself. There're a lot more than before. I can see Infinite hiding at the back of all his copies.

"And you say Sonic reek of fear? Look who's hiding behind clones of himself," says Darkwing. "If anyone is reeking of fear, it's you Infinite!"

"Go on Sonic, give him a closer look at your spines," says Speedy.

Sonic bounces across the copies using his homing attacks. He makes it to the back and hits Infinite.

"Impossible! Your abilities exceed your previous data!" says Infinite.

"Unlike mechs, I can grow. I get more powerful every second!" says Sonic. He then looks at Bombermen and Starry Bomber. "Let me rephrase that. Unlike badniks, I can grow. I get more powerful every second!"

"I will teach you to hold that tongue next time we meet. You can count on it," says Infinite. Wait, is Infinite a robot? They did say that Eggman created Infinite and he does look and sound like a robot. "Well. You've improved since the last time. But you will still lose." Infinite does something again.

I have no idea what's going on. He fires something at us. We all get hit and fall down. My magic force shield protects me from the attack but gets broken. I quickly power up into my battle outfit and use my wind power to stop us from hitting the floor really hard. The wind blows around the floor and my team safely fall in the wind and softly fall onto the floor. Kat heals them with her magic. I look and see Infinite above us. He fires at us. I use my magic to shoot and block his attacks. He makes everything go red again. It feels weird… I can't tell what's going on. Next thing I know, I'm lying on the floor. I'm out of my battle mode and back to normal. Infinite must have attacked me while I was confused.

"As I predicted. You're not even worth the effort to finish off," I hear Infinite says.

After that, I hear Sonic saying, "I gotta figure out the secret of his power. Hey, is everyone okay?"

"I'll survive," says Darkwing.

"Julie!"

Someone helps me to get up. "What…?!" I say. I look around. What happened? Oh yeah, now I remember. "What was that?"

"Not sure, that's what we're going to find out," says Sonic. "You're okay?"

I look at myself and see that I'm back to normal. I try to power up into my battle outfit but I can't. "Looks like I need to recover," I say.

"Most of your stuffs are broken," says Kat.

Oh great, my flying board and my magic force shield are broken. And also my battle mode is broken too. I need to wait for a while before I can use them again. That Infinite is very dangerous. We all go back to the hideout. We find Amy with Blaze, Cream and Cheese. Cream's mother is tending to a small robot. That robot reminds me of that yellow robot that Amy adopted as her and Sonic's child. Wait a second, wasn't that the robot that attacked us during that one time? Oh yeah, Tails fixed him and now he lived peacefully with Cream and her mother.

"Sonic, you're back!" says Amy. She hugs Sonic.

"Amy told us what happened," says Blaze.

"Are you okay, Sonic?" Cream asks. Cheese also is worried about Sonic.

"I'm fine, just had a rematch with him," says Sonic.

"How did it go?" Amy asks.

"Really well…until he used that power of his," says Darkwing.

"We need to find out about that," says Sonic.

"Was that chaos control?" I ask.

"Nope, it felt different," says Sonic.

"I'm just glad you're all okay!" says Amy.

"How are you doing Amy?" says Starry Bomber.

"I'm doing okay," says Amy. "I was just looking around for anybody who might need our help."

"I found Cream and her mother getting attacked by Eggman's robots," says Blaze. "I saved them and we escaped. However, we were ambushed by more of his robots. That's when Amy came in and helped us."

"We make a great team," says Cream. Cheese happily agrees.

"We really do," says Amy.

Amy and Cream holds Blaze's hands and they together shake hands with Blaze. Blaze looks confused but happy when she sees the happy look on their face. We explain to them what happened.

"You're all back safe and sound," says Knuckles.

"They made it just in time," says Silver.

"Right, there's something very important that we need to take care of."

"We need to stop Eggman's robot army. It's growing by the minute," says Vector.

"We found the source," says Espio. "Eggman has been using innocent animals for his robot army. The animals that we freed are from the country Mobius."

"That means that Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts have been capturing animals and sending them to Eggman," says Amy.

"That's horrible, we need to stop them!" says Charmy.

"Julie, you and your team take the rookies and go to Mobius. You need to stop them from capturing any more animals," says Knuckles.

"Right," we say.

We take Berry and her friends and make our way to Mobius. "We're going on another mission?! And we're going with you?!" says Melon. He sounds very surprised.

"Wow…can we do this?" asks Mango.

"You have been practising while we were away, weren't you?" Polly asks them.

"Yeah, we got a new Wispon," says Kiwi. She shows us her Wispon. It looks like a hammer.

"I was helping Tails get the parts he needed to fix the computer," says Grape.

"You and Tails get along pretty well," says Lychee. "You two got something in common."

"Our interest in machinery, that's all we got in common."

"You're good with machinery? Then you're like Tails," says black Bomberman.

"I'm good at using them but I can't build them like Tails," says Grape. "All I did was ordering machine parts and get them secretly delivered to the hideout."

"You sure know how to contact the right people," says Melon.

We make it to Mobius. We look around. We run across, going round the loops and jumping over spikes. We beat more bad guys and free the animals. We make it to a town but when we go in, there's nobody there. It's like a ghost town. After finding nothing, we go off, running up the hill to the next floor and swinging across the holes on the swinging platforms. We jump across moving platforms and beat more bad guys. Kiwi uses the hammer similar to how Amy uses her hammer. The difference is that this hammer will turn any enemies near it into blue blocks. Hitting the blocks will make rings appear. When Kiwi gets the blue Wisp, she can make platforms in the air. She can reach high places with this. We hear something. We go to take a look and see two big machines. Hey, it's that machines we fought! The round machine with square things around it, we fought that on the Little Planet. And there's the machine with big arms and spiked top, that one we fought when we first met Knuckles. Eggman rebuilt those? I see that the machine with the big arms is carrying a capsule. Animals must be trapped in there. We follow them to a building and go inside. We follow them to a room where there are lots of capsules. The machine with the big arms puts the capsule down next to the other capsules.

"Dr. Robotnik will be so proud when he sees how many animals we caught for him," says a voice in the round machine with the square things. That voice, it's Grounder.

"The great Dr. Robotnik got enough to cover the whole world in his army," says a voice in the machine with big arms. He then laughs. I recognize that laugh, it's Scratch.

We get knock out of the hiding place by something. We fall over in front of Scratch and Grounder. I look back and see Coconuts inside a machine. That machine is the same machine we fought when I first met Tails. It's the one that is surrounded by balloons that pop out when you hit the machine.

"Look who's hiding," says Coconuts.

"Well, if it isn't Julie and her friends," says Grounder. "Where's Sonic?"

"Saving the day as usual," says Speedy.

"Not this time, I heard Sonic met his match," says Scratch.

"And there's nothing you can do about it," says Coconuts. "Dr. Robotnik has full control of the whole world."

"Yeah, and he's going to get more robots for his army," says Grounder. He points at all the capsules in the room.

"I was wondering how you capture a large amount of animals," says Darkwing. "I knew you couldn't have done it all by yourselves."

"Are you insulting us?" Grounder asks.

"Dumb as ever."

"If you think we are dumb then what about you? You're still wearing that ridiculous outfit," says Scratch.

"I know, you would have thought he will change his hat," says Grounder.

"Did you just insult me again…? And my hat?" says Darkwing. "Why do they keep doing that?"

"Maybe because you dress like a clown," says Grounder.

"That's it!" Darkwing rolls up his sleeves. "You remember what happened the last time you insulted me."

Before Darkwing can attack them, Scratch punches Darkwing using his machine. Darkwing is sent flying past us and crashes into the wall behind us. Scratch laughs.

"Dr. Robotnik will be so please with me when I capture all of you," Scratch says.

"Nuh-uh, Dr. Robotnik will be please with me," says Grounder.

"No way, Dr. Robotnik will be please with me," says Coconuts.

Berry and her friends look scared. "Do not worry, do not be afraid of these…dumb bots," says Crystal.

"Nice one Crystal," I say.

I look and see Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts are still arguing. Some things never change. I look and see the capsules. While they are arguing, I will free all the animals. I quickly go to the capsules and jump on top of one of them. The capsule breaks and all the animals jump out. They run away to freedom.

"Hey, hey! Julie's releasing those animals!" Coconuts shouts.

"Get her!" Scratch shouts.

Oh no, now they're after me. I quickly move away as Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts go after me. My friends help me out by attacking them. The machine's attack patterns are the same as before. To beat Scratch, we need to attack the right spot without getting grab by the hands. We also need to avoid the top of the machine as there spikes on there. We wait for Scratch to fly in. We avoid the hands and attack the body.

"Grounder, get them!" Scratch shouts.

Grounder rolls toward us. We can't hit his machine because the four square parts are surrounding the main machine, protecting him from our attacks. We run away as Grounder rolls around. Grounder flies up and shoots the square things at us. We dodge them. Now is the perfect time to attack him. The Samurai Pizza Cats jump toward the main machine. Before they can hit Grounder, Coconuts rams them with his machine. They fly across the room and fall right into the machine's hands.

"Where did you three come from?!" says Scratch. He has no idea how he caught them. "Never mind."

Scratch slams the Samurai Pizza Cats into the ground, hurting them. Bombermen throws bombs at Scratch. Scratch blocks their attacks with the machine's arms. With Scratch distracted; Berry, Lychee and Kiwi attack Scratch from behind with their weapons. Before they can hit him, Grounder rolls in. He is chasing after Quiverwing but accidentally knock Berry, Lychee and Kiwi away. Starry Bomber quickly grabs Berry, Lychee and Kiwi. She flies toward me and falls down next to me due to the weight of carrying three people at once. Kat heals them.

"Every time we try to attack one of them, the other gets in our way," says Polly.

We all group together and are surrounded by them. This doesn't look too good.

"What's wrong, having problems fighting us?" says Scratch.

"If you can't take the heat, get out of the frying pan," says Grounder.

"Huh?!" we all say.

"You dope, you got the saying all wrong," says Scratch.

"It's if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen," says Coconuts.

"Oh yeah," says Grounder.

"You know, I can't be afraid of these three," says Mango. "They're more annoying than scary." Berry and the others agree.

Just then, something hits Scratch's machine. "Hey! I can't see!" Scratch shouts. Something gooey is stuck on the window. He gets the gooey thing off using the machine's hands.

Darkwing runs in front of Grounder. "You think I dressed ridiculous then what about your nose?" Darkwing is still sore about them insulting his outfit.

"Hey, no fair picking on my nose," says Grounder. He chases after Darkwing. Darkwing quickly runs away from him.

"Now's our chance, run!" Kat shouts.

We quickly run through the gap. "Hey, you're not getting away that easy," says Coconuts. He flies toward us.

The Samurai Pizza Cats throw their ninja stars at Coconuts. They hit the machine which makes three balloons pop out. The three balloons go toward me, Quiverwing, Berry and her friends. Kiwi gets scared. Cherry barks and tries to calm Kiwi down.

"Kiwi, careful! You tend to shoot out your quills when you get scared," says Lychee.

"That's it!" says Quiverwing. "Shoot them with your quills!"

"I can't aim!" says Kiwi.

"Just point them at those balloons." Quiverwing grabs Kiwi and positions her so that her quills are facing the balloons. Kiwi shoots out her quills and hits all the balloons.

"Great work!" I say to them.

"I got them?" says Kiwi.

"Yep," says Quiverwing. "You just need to aim your quills."

"Watch out!" I hear Darkwing shouts.

We move out of the way as Grounder rolls through. He is still chasing after Darkwing. When Grounder couldn't get to him, he flies up and shoots the square things right at Darkwing.

"Oh no, Darkwing is…is… Oh no," says Melon. He's about to sneeze. He sneezes which blows the square things away from Darkwing. Melon flies backward and crashes into Scratch's machine. Scratch falls down but gets back up. He grabs Melon. "Help!" Melon shouts.

"Sneezes your way out of there!" says Quiverwing.

"I can't!" Melon shouts.

Scratch fully covers Melon with the machine hands. Bombermen throws the spiked bombs and blows Scratch up. The machine's hands let go of Melon. The Samurai Pizza Cats get rid of all the balloons that were surrounding Coconuts.

"Oh yeah!" Coconuts shouts.

Coconuts shoots at them using the lasers. The Samurai Pizza Cats dodge them. Coconuts doesn't notice Berry and Crystal behind him. Berry uses her weapon to shoot her and Crystal high up into the air. Crystal jumps over to Coconuts and hit him with her weapon which causes Coconuts' machine to blow up.

"Nooooooo!" Coconuts screams as the machine he's in falls down.

I look over to where Darkwing is and notice that Grounder's machine is missing one of the square things. Grounder chases after Darkwing. I quickly use my magic whip and grab one of the square things. I then tie the other end of my magic whip to a pillar. Grounder is stuck, trying to move forward. Darkwing sees that Grounder is stuck. He casually walks over to Grounder. He waves at him and points upward. Grounder looks up and sees Kiwi on a floating blue platform with Bombermen. Bombermen throw bombs down on Grounder, blowing him up and causing the machine to lose two square things. The machine only has one square thing left. I get my magic whip back. Grounder hops about on the last square thing. He didn't hop long as Bombermen finish him off with their bombs. The machine falls to the floor and blows up. Melon is hiding behind Lychee. Lychee is hitting the machine's hands away with his lightning weapon. He is trying to keep Scratch away from them.

"You can't stop me," Scratch says to him. Darkwing uses his gun to shoot something sticky onto one of the machine's hands. "What's this stuff?"

Lychee hits the other hand onto the sticky hand. The hands are stuck together. Scratch tries his best to unstick them. Quiverwing fires a bomb arrow and blows Scratch over to Grounder and Coconuts.

"Okay everyone, altogether now," says Speedy.

We all smile. We all attack them together and send them flying out of the building. After beating them, we open all the capsules and free all the animals. We go deeper into the building and find kidnapped animals from different towns. We free them and they return back home. We go out and make our way to the hideout.

"Yeah, we beat them…" Kiwi coughs and then says in a mature way, "We are successful in defeating the villains."

"Kiwi, you don't have to act mature," says Polly. "Just be yourself."

"But-"

"It fine to just be yourself," says Starry Bomber. "It's difficult to be something you're not."

"And it sounds weird every time you change your tone," says Darkwing.

"Told you Kiwi, even they say so," says Mango

On our way back, we come across Eggman with Infinite. We tell Berry and her friends to be quiet and we hide behind the rocks and listen to them.

Infinite breaks something and then says, "And with that the disposal of the Phantom Ruby prototypes is complete."

"It was a defective model. It could only record the DNA of the one that triggered it," says Eggman.

"Only a being with my strength of will could ever activate it."

"It doesn't matter now, with the lab locked down in Mystic Jungle. Which reminds me, didn't you run into Sonic there?"

"Yes, but he was powerless against me. There is no need for concern."

"You let the hedgehog live?! That is a great source of concern."

"For you, perhaps. He has beaten you for decades, yet I defeated him in our first encounter."

"Oh no," Melon says quietly. He's about to sneeze.

We all panic. "Don't sneeze," we all whisper to him.

Darkwing quickly uses his finger to cover Melon's nose in hope of stopping him from sneezing. It works. Oh no, Infinite is about to look in our direction. We all hide behind the rocks, holding our breaths.

"What it is?" Eggman asks. Oh no! I think they saw us!

"…Nothing," says Infinite. We all sigh in relief. "We move forward with the plan?"

"Of course! When it's complete, everything will be erased. The world will be nothing but ashes from which a glorious Eggman Empire will rise!"

"And everyone will yield to the Phantom Ruby's power. All will submit," says Infinite. He then flies away.

Just then, someone lets out a huge sneeze. We all jump and then look at Darkwing. Darkwing gives us the most cheekiest smile. He was the one who sneezed.

"Gesundheit," says Eggman.

"Thank you," says Darkwing.

"You're welcome…" After a few minutes, Eggman realizes something. "Wait a minute!"

Uh oh, now he knows. We tell Berry and her friends to go back to the hideout and tell Sonic and the others about what we just learnt. They quickly run off and we jump out of hiding to fight Eggman.

"Well, if it isn't Julie and her friends…minus Sonic. Where is Sonic anyway?"

"Why do you ask?" says Guido. "You got something against him?"

"Do you know how many times Sonic has defeated me?! How I was humiliated because of him after every defeat?! Oh how I hate him! Once I find him, I'll return it a thousandfold!" says Eggman.

"Don't you feel better now that you let it out?" says Darkwing.

"You know, I do feel a bit better now… Hey, you're avoiding my question!" Now Eggman realizes we were just making fun of him. "That's it!" Eggman laughs and puts the window over his machine. A big round chainsaw comes out of the machine. It's chained to the machine.

You got to be kidding me. I give Eggman a look. "I'm amazed," I say.

Eggman laughs when he hears me say that. "Oh, are you amazed of my genius?"

"No, I'm amazed of your stupidity," I reply.

"Wha-wha?!" Eggman sounds really shocked to hear that.

"You just got roasted," says Quiverwing.

"Wow Julie, I didn't know you had it in you," says white Bomberman.

"You're all bad influences on her," says Eggman.

"Can't you think of new ideas? That's the same thing as the first one," I say.

"The first one? Ah, you mean that. There is a difference, I replaced the wrecking ball with this," says Eggman. He tries to hit us with the chainsaw. "Such power exceeds even my expectations. Hah! My own genius scares me sometimes!"

You got to be kidding me. We all dodge it easy and use the floating platforms at the sides to attack the machine.

"Really? You're still attacking in the same way," I say.

We keep dodging and attacking him until we beat him. Easy!

"Mwa-haha! To surpass expectations is the ultimate of genius! I wouldn't expect you to understand," says Eggman.

A big machine with wings comes out from behind Eggman. Eggman goes on top of it. Looks like he has more tricks up his sleeve, I didn't expect that. He shoots at us with the gun on the robot's hand. We quickly run and jump over the places to avoid his attacks. Using the robot's tail, he throws rocks from the floor right on top of us. We move to the sides to avoid them. He throws more rocks at us and then shoots drills at us. We quickly run to the side to avoid the drills. Eggman goes back to shooting with his gun. We dodge his gun by running away from it. Bombermen and Starry Bomber use the Bead Bomb power up and get themselves ready to fire bombs at Eggman. We help them out by knocking away any falling rocks that come at them. I use my magic boomerang to stop the rocks. The Samurai Pizza Cats use their swords to knock away the rocks. Bombermen and Starry Bomber fire their bombs at Eggman's robot and hit him.

"You're just as annoying as that pesky hedgehog," says Eggman. "Still, this Egg Dragoon has only lost 10% of its combat strength." Egg Dragoon? That sounds familiar.

"You just reused one of your inventions? That's not smart, that's just lazy," says Darkwing.

We all jump away as Eggman shoots drills at us. He then shoots with his gun. We run away and avoid it. Bombermen and Starry Bomber get their bomb ready. It takes a while to get the bombs ready so the best time to do it is when the Egg Dragoon is throwing rocks with his tail. We protect Bombermen and Starry Bomber by hitting the falling rocks away from them. They fire bombs at the Egg Dragoon. We keep doing this until we beat him. The Egg Dragoon blows up and Eggman flies out in his small flying machine. We follow Eggman as he crushes into the floor.

"Hohohoho," Eggman laughs as he opens the window. "Look at you fighting like you've got a chance to win. It's adorable."

"Is that the sound of a sore loser," says Darkwing.

"Joke all you want but in just three short days, my plan will eliminate the bothersome lot of you!"

We all look at each other. "What are you talking about?" white Bomberman asks.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise! You know what they say, the anticipation of the end is worse than the end itself. Maybe not in this case though. Mwa-hahahaha!" Eggman gets his machine working and flies off.

What is he up to? We quickly go back to the hideout and meet up with Sonic and the others. We look around but couldn't find Berry and her friends.

"Where Berry and the others?" Polly asks.

"They haven't return," says Knuckles.

"What?! But we told them to go straight here," says Darkwing. "Eggman got big plan."

"What it is?" Sonic asks.

"He said that if he tells us then it wouldn't be a surprise. What we do know is that he's planning to get rid of all of us in three days."

"Three days, huh? A lot can happen in that time!"

"They also talked about Phantom Ruby prototypes," says Kat. "And how Infinite is the only one who can activate it. That Infinite is so full of himself."

"I can't wait to knock him down a peg. Anything else?" Sonic asks.

"Let's see… Eggman wants to get even with you for humiliating him," says Darkwing.

"I'm going to humiliating him even more."

"…He really hates you…"

"Awww, that's good to know."

"…And… Oh yeah, he got roasted."

"Nice one Darkwing."

"Wasn't me."

My friends then look at me.

"No way, Julie?!" Sonic sounds surprised. Sonic and the others look at me.

"What?" I ask.

"Julie roasted Eggman. She called him out for his stupidity," Quiverwing says to Sonic.

"No way! Wish I was there to hear it," says Sonic.

"Everybody, we got a problem, Eggman's army has broken through! They're in the city! We need to get these people out of there," says Amy.

"Right, then we'll go and hold them off till they can escape," says Sonic.

"You can leave the evacuation to us," says Jet.

"Huh?! What are you doing here?!" Darkwing asks him.

I look and see Jet with his team. I didn't think I will see them here.

"Jet is helping us with evacuations," Amy tells us.

"Hey, I'm not in this to help you. I got my own reason," says Jet.

"No problem, once we beat Eggman, everything will go back to normal and you can carry on racing," says Sonic. "Hey, maybe we can race each other."

"Looking forward to that," says Jet as he smiles at Sonic.

Oh, that's why Jet is helping. Ever since Eggman took over, Jet and his team weren't able to race as usual.

"Sonic, Tails, let's go in and hold them off," says Knuckles. "Julie, you guys can rest up here."

"Thanks," I say.

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails run off to help the people in the city. Jet and his team go in their big aircraft and follow Sonic. We try to contact Berry and her friends, nothing. Where are they? I hope they are okay. I walk around, feeling worried. I feel someone patting my back. I look and see Big.

"Amy's friend is worried? You don't need to worry, everything will be alright," Big says to me. Big nods his head at me and goes to the little animals and Froggy. I smile at him.

"Big is helping taking care of the animals we freed," Amy says to me. "Now that you freed Mobius from Eggman's control, we can start transporting them back home."

"That's good," I say.

"Big's right, don't worry too much Julie. We'll find them."

"Thanks," I say. I help Big look after the animals.

After a long while, everyone come back to the hideout. Big helps Jet to get the animals in their aircraft so that they can take them back home. Berry and her friends apologize for being late. It turns out they accidentally took the wrong route and ended up in Mystic Jungle.

"Hey, we're under attack!" Vector says over the communicator. "Shadow is tearing through here, we need back up!"

"Shadow… The last time I saw him he was fighting for Eggman," says Sonic.

That can't be right. Shadow is a good guy. He'll never work for Eggman…except for that time when we first met him… Still, Shadow wouldn't.

"That doesn't make sense. Why would Shadow help the enemy?" says Knuckles.

"Perhaps he's being controlled by that strange power?" says Silver.

"Whatever it is, I'll figure it out!" says Sonic.

I want to help out. Maybe we can get Shadow back. "I'm coming too," I say. Most of my powers are back now.

"Right then Julie, let's go," says Sonic.

Using my link ring, I follow Sonic on my flying board to the city. The buildings are getting destroyed. They are on fire. We run through the street, collecting rings and beating the bad guys.

"There's so many of them," says Charmy. I see him flying by us.

I see Vector and Espio with him. "Yeah, and there's still a whole load of them over there," says Vector.

"Shadow should be deep in the city, be on your guard," Espio says to us.

"We'll beat down more of the Death Egg Robots," says Vector.

They go off down the street. Me and Sonic follow the road. We have to jump up some uneven roads. We beat more robots, jump over spikes and keep going forward where we swing across using the rope things. Sonic speed boosts through the street. We need to stop Shadow as soon as possible. We jump over the huge gap and swing over to this open place. We keep going forward while beating the robots. We jump up to the top floor and run round the loop. We avoid more spikes and jump across platforms. We go up and ride the rail to the next place. We keep following the path round to the top and grab onto the handle that takes us up. We follow the path until we find Shadow. We walk to him.

"All right Shadow! What's the deal?" says Sonic.

I see Shadow is about to attack us. I quickly power up into my battle outfit and make a shield round me and Sonic. "Shadow no!" I shout.

Shadow quickly runs to us and is about to attack us. I hear him shouts, "Chaos control!" Oh no, this isn't good. He's using chaos control. It all happened so quick. Shadow hits the attacking Shadow down. What?! What happened?!

Sonic looks just as shocked as me. "Another Shadow?" Sonic says.

Me, Sonic and Kat keep looking at both Shadows.

"This isn't a dream, is it?!" says Kat. She is just as shocked as us.

The other Shadow disappears just like Chaos and…that main bad guy of the lost world. What was his name again? Sonic looks and sees the other Shadow is gone.

"He just disappeared," says Sonic.

"That was a fake," Shadow tells us.

"A fake? How?" asks Sonic.

Before Shadow can answer; Vector, Espio and Charmy come in to fight Shadow. I quickly run in front of Shadow to protect him.

"Hey Julie! Why are you in the way?" Vector asks me.

"This Shadow is the good guy," I tell them.

"Really?! Then why was he attacking this town?" Charmy asks us.

"That wasn't the real Shadow. It was a fake," Sonic tells them.

"A fake?!" Vector, Espio and Charmy say together.

"Infinite can create virtual reality projections. They have mass and form, but no heart and soul," says Shadow.

"Virtual reality? So all those familiar faces that were part of Eggman's army…" says Sonic.

"Replicas. The problem is, they may not be real but their powers are as formidable as the originals."

Rouge comes in and says to us, "Not only that, Infinite can create unlimited numbers of them."

"That's doesn't sound too good! We have to keep fighting them?!" says Vector.

"If what they say is true then yes," says Espio.

"You can't be serious! There's no way we can keep fighting all of them!" says Charmy. He's freaking out. I'm starting to worry.

"As it stands, there's no way we can win this," says Shadow. Now I'm really worried.

Sonic notices my worried face. He pats me on my back. "Don't Julie, we got this. We'll win this! We always do! We just haven't figured that part out yet."

"Yeah, we'll beat him and save the world," I say.

"That's the spirit."

"Let us go back to the hideout. We can figure out a plan there," says Espio.

"Oh yeah, Tails found your friend Omega. He's at the hideout. You can go see him but he's catching some Zs," Sonic says to Shadow and Rouge.

"He'll reactive himself when the time is right," says Shadow.

We all go back to the hideout. Everybody is gone. Big tells us that they gone to attack Eggman's base. Big then goes to clean Omega up. Shadow asks about the egg robots. Me and Sonic tell them all about this special emerald that took us back in time and how we had to fight Eggman and the egg robots. We also tell them that at the end, the egg robots just want to be free from Eggman so that they can do the things they want to do. Just then, everybody come back to the hideout.

"Mighty, it's been too long! How are you?!" Vector says. Vector, Espio and Charmy fist bump Mighty. Ray waves to them and they fist bump Ray. Oh, they all know each other.

"That didn't go so well," says Speedy.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Everything was going fine until Infinite showed up. As soon as he came, everything became disorientated," says Darkwing.

"Disorientated?"

"I can't tell what's up and down, or the left from the right."

"That would make a great ride," says Quiverwing.

"Sure…if you want everybody to have motion sickness," Darkwing says to Quiverwing.

"Oh yeah…" Quiverwing doesn't like the sound of that.

Darkwing looks and sees Shadow. "I see you knocked some sense into him."

"This is the real Shadow. The one that attacked the town is a fake," says Sonic.

"What?!"

We explain to them about Infinite's power.

"I see," says Knuckles. "As you know, things were going well but then everything fizzled out when Infinite showed up."

"It was a great plan. We'll attack Eggman's headquarter in Metropolis while Eggman's forces are busy elsewhere. We'll split into groups and attack in different places. We'll attack at the same time and take back the city. The only thing that we didn't count on is Infinite," says Guido.

"You went into groups?" I ask.

"Yeah, Knuckles and Tails were with us," says Speedy. "We got Berry and her friends at one part of the city. Amy was with Cream, Cheese and Blaze. Silver was with Mighty and Ray."

"It was really bad," says Melon. Berry grunts something. "What? Oh yeah…"

"What is it?" Crystal asks.

"When Infinite was about to finish us off, he used his power to shoot cannonballs at us. But the cannonballs…it just went through us."

"You're okay?" I ask them.

"We're fine. It's…it's like they phased through us," says Grape.

"Could it be that there's a limit to his power?" says Tails.

"If you want to find out more, you should go to the Chemical Plant. Eggman's database is located there," says Rouge.

"That sounds like a promising lead. We have to figure out the secret behind Infinite's power and virtual reality," says Sonic.

"Right, I'll go there now," says Tails.

"We'll back you up," says black Bomberman.

Me and my team go with Tails while Sonic and Amy stay at the hideout with the others. We go to a different part of Chemical Plant Zone. This seems so familiar…it feels like I been here before. We follow the path, jumping across the flying platforms and beating the bad guys. We go into pipes to get to the next area. We also have to swim underwater to get to the next place. After going round a few more loops and following the path, we make it to the end. Tails gets into the database.

"Failed battle plans…old robot designs…wow, he's got like ten terabytes of selfies…" says Tails.

"What a waste of space," says Darkwing.

"I wonder what yours is like," Guido says to Darkwing.

"…It's not as worst as Eggman," Darkwing replies. Why do I have this feeling that Darkwing has selfies too?

"Found it! Virtual Reality weapon; the Phantom Ruby," says Tails. He found it! "The power to make illusions real. Illusions are…just illusions, they're not real. But with the Phantom Ruby, they can make it real enough to feel."

"In other word, turning illusions into real things that can hurt us," says Darkwing.

"Eggman experimented with lots of prototypes, and then incorporated the final version into Infinite. If I'm reading this data correctly, then there might be a weakness. Let's contact the others about this."

Using our communicator, we get in touch with Grape.

"…Hey…did you…find anything?" says Grape.

"Why do you sound out of breath?" Speedy asks.

"Just…been with Sonic…to fight…Metal Sonic. Sonic sure…is the…fastest…hedgehog. I'm…just glad…that we can keep up…with him."

"That explained it."

We tell Grape what we found. Grape gets his breath back. "Right, give me a second," Grape says to us. We can hear him doing something. "Okay, I put you on loudspeaker so that we can all hear you."

"Thanks Grape," says Tails. "Okay everybody, based on these readings, the Phantom Ruby requires an incredible amount of energy, which only the Death Egg can provide. We simply stop the energy transfer, and boom, the Phantom Ruby is practically useless."

"Back to the Death Egg we go," says Speedy.

"We should take a shuttle to the Death Egg and shut it down. The only problem now is Eggman's army," says Tails.

"If they found out, they'll rush in and take over Chemical Plant, preventing us from using the shuttle," says white Bomberman.

"Then we need a distraction," says Vector.

"Right, Knuckles, you're ready to go to space?" says Sonic.

"I'm all ready," says Knuckles. "Tails, me and Sonic will meet you guys up at the Chemical Plant and take the shuttle to the Death Egg."

"While you do that, we'll make a distraction and lure Eggman's army away from you," says Amy.

"Okay then, let's go!" says Sonic.

Me and my friends make our way to the shuttle and wait for Sonic and Knuckles. When they arrive, we take the shuttle to the Death Egg. While on our way, we get a call from the others.

"Hey, guess who the VIPs on this mission," Vector says to us through the communicator.

"You?" we guess.

"Nope."

"Amy?"

"Not me," says Amy.

"Blaze, Espio, Mighty?"

"Not them," says Vector. "It's Berry and her friends."

"Really?"

"You should have seen it, they beaten a huge crab robot all by themselves," says Charmy.

"You don't say, we have to stop calling them rookies," says Knuckles.

Darkwing sniffs. "They grow up so fast," Darkwing says and blows his nose into a tissue.

We all look at him. "Don't worry, he did that to me once," says Quiverwing.

I smile as I look at Darkwing. Darkwing then says, "To think, they used to be clumsy and they had no experience in fighting. And now they're brought down a huge robot by themselves, oh how they grown." Darkwing blows into the tissue again.

"I knew they had it in them," says Sonic.

"We taught them everything we know," says Guido.

"The Death Egg's weapon systems are down. Now is your chance! Move!" says Rouge.

"You need to hurry and cut off the power!" says Charmy.

"You're making it sound like a walk in the park. This is a Death Egg!" says Vector.

"Don't sweat it, we got this under control," says Tails.

We run forward.

"Hey, the defense system is still up! I thought it was shut down," says Knuckles.

"They probably switched over to auxiliary power," says Tails.

We jump across the converter belt and onto the floor on the right. We quickly jump up to avoid the machine's attacks. We jump across another converter belt.

"Not to worry. We'll find a way through," says Tails.

We jump over to the floor on the right and follow the path. We run forward and go across the lights and up to the top. That looks familiar… I seen that before. We bounce upward using the springs and go left. We run across the converter belts while avoiding the red lasers at the top. We beat the bad guy and go left where we get more rings from the TV. We go up using the lights that make the floor. We get the speed power up and quickly run right. We bounce up over the wall and keep going right. We jump across more converter belts and jump up to a platform. The platform swings upward and we go left. We beat a bad guy and take the platforms up. We go right on the converter belts, beating the bad guys. We follow the lights upward and go past the checkpoint. We keep going right. We go upside down. We are now walking on the ceiling.

"Gah, this is the pits. It's messin' with my head!" says Vector.

"Why are you complaining?! You're not the one doing this," says Darkwing.

"This does mess with my head," says Speedy.

"Just stay calm," says Tails.

"Yeah, we'll find a way forward," says Quiverwing.

We keep going forward, going around and down and to the right.

"I just wanna smash everything and level the place!" says Vector.

"We'll do that after we stop the Death Egg and get out of here," says Guido.

We go around the place in these yellow rings. Now I recognized this! It was that place where we finally stopped Eggman when he tried to use the Master Emerald. It was after Knuckles realized that we were the good guys and Eggman was the bad guy. We land on the floor and run on the converter belt.

"Pretty smooth but we better not get too cocky and fall," Knuckles says to us.

"Hey, we got this Knuckles. This will be a cake walk," says Sonic.

"Or a piece a cake," says Darkwing.

"Don't, you're making me hungry," I say. I am just joking as I smile at my friends.

"That takes the cake," says Speedy. "Okay, we'll stop with the cake puns now."

We go down and go right. We go up the wall and go to the top left. We go around through the air in the yellow rings. We land on the floor. We jump on the spring and bounce up to the top right. We go right, jumping on platforms and avoiding the machines' attacks. We go around the place in the yellow rings again. I feel like we been here before. We land next to the invincibility power up. We break it and go across the converter belt, easily beating the bad guys.

"All Right! The Death Egg is starting to crumble," says Knuckles. "We better get out of here before it blows."

We quickly go to the right to the end. We make it to the shuttle and go back to the planet. We watch as the Death Egg blows up. We did it! We go back to the hideout.

"Mission accomplished. The Phantom Ruby's signal gotten much weaker," says Rouge.

"This should effectively put a stop to the doctor's greatest weapon," says Shadow.

"We got an opening now, we can't just let that go to waste," says Vector.

"This is the moment we've been waiting for. Time to settle the score!" says Silver.

"Now that the Phantom Ruby is out of the way, we can finally smash Eggman into an omelette!" says Knuckles.

"Might have a problem with that Knuckles, Eggman's a rotten egg," says Darkwing.

I laugh at that.

"Hey, don't count your chickens before you smash your eggs!" says Rouge.

"Rouge is right. The fact that Eggman and Infinite are still around means we can't let our guard down," says Sonic. "Also, Darkwing is right too. Eggman is a rotten egg."

"I just want everyone to get home safely, okay?" says Amy. She is worried about all of us.

"As long as we work together and watch each other back, we should be fine," says Blaze.

"If things get too tough, retreat to a safe place," says Cream.

"So we can rest up and regain our strength, is that right?" says Mango.

"Everyone get your game face on! The target is Eggman at the Central Tower!" says Knuckles.

We move out in different groups. Me and Kat go with Sonic. We run to the right and ride the rail.

"We're fighting to get our world back now," says Knuckles over the communicator. "Don't stop. Don't look back! Just focus on the task ahead no matter what! Let's do this everyone! Charge!"

"Yeah!" I hear everyone shout.

We rush through the building, jumping on springs and beating the bad guys. Sonic is going very fast. It's a good thing I'm using the link ring to stay connected to Sonic's link ring. The bad guys are sent flying as Sonic speed boosts through them. We make it outside. We run to the spring and bounce up high in the air.

"If we can capture Eggman, we win," says Knuckles. "Find out where he's at Sonic!"

"We'll provide as much cover as we can," says Rouge.

"All right! Chasing Eggman is what I do best! I'll track him down in no time!" says Sonic.

"Shouldn't be that hard to find him, he stick out like a sore thumb," says Darkwing. "Just find an egg shaped guy in a flying machine."

We fall down and move around to avoid the rockets that fly up at us. We dodge them all and make it onto the floor. We quickly speed boost through this place, knocking out the bad guys. The Wisps in the capsules help Sonic keeps his speed boost. We slow down as we need to use the small platform to get across the big gap. We carefully go across and jump onto the spring on the right. We bounce up onto the small platforms. The small platforms move to the left when Sonic jumps on them. That was close, Sonic nearly fall down. We make it to the top. We go right and jump on the spring. We go to the top of the building. We beat a bad guy and jump down on the other side of the building. We fall onto the small platform at the bottom. The small platform takes us all the way to the right. We jump up to the top and free the Wisps. We speed boost through the line of bad guys. We quickly go round the loop and go right through more bad guys. We keep going to the right, avoiding the spikes on the floor. We jump down to the small platform at the bottom. The small platform takes us to the right. We quickly jump up the small platforms to avoid the spikes on the right wall. The small platforms will send us into the spikes if we stay on it. We make it to the top. I'm glad I'm on my flying board and am following Sonic using the link rings. If I try to get onto those platforms, I'll fall down. They are moving too fast for me. We ride the rail around the building and bounce on the spring to the next place. We keep moving forward.

"There is a big battle going on," says Sonic.

"It's okay. We can hold for long," says Amy.

"Our other forces are on the move too. We can pull this off," says Knuckles.

"Just keep going, we got this," says white Bomberman.

We bounce off the spring at the end of the path. We bounce over to the next place and keep running forward.

"Be careful! I'm detecting Eggman just up ahead!" says Amy.

We speed boost through the bad guys and bounce off the spring at the end of the path. We fly through the air and land on a building. Eggman is on top of that building. Now we got him.

"Welcome, Sonic. Glad you could make it to your funeral!" says Eggman.

I do not like that! I do not like what Eggman just said to Sonic! I give Eggman the meanest look I could do.

"Infinite, do it," Eggman says to Infinite.

Infinite flies down and says, "Take this!" A black ball comes out of Infinite's hand and goes toward us. It stops in the air in front of us.

"What is that?" says Sonic.

"Har-har. That, my spiky little frenemy, is null space," says Eggman.

Orbot and Cubot quickly fly away. That thing must be bad.

"Null space?" says Sonic.

"It's a little something that the Phantom Rudy cooked up, a closed-off space where absolutely nothing exists! Good-bye, Sonic, my soon-to-be-eradicated nemesis. Enjoy all the nothing!" says Eggman. He flies off in his flying machine.

Infinite shoots something into the black ball and then flies away. The black ball goes bigger. Everything is getting suck into that black ball. It's like a black hole. Oh no, my link ring, the black hole sucks it in. I use my flying board to try to fly away from the black hole. It's not working. I am getting sucked in. Someone grabs my hand. I look and see Tails. He's using his hand to hold onto the machine that is stuck in the building and uses his other hand to grab me. I didn't notice that Tails is here. I hear Sonic shouts as he is being sucked into the black hole.

"Sonic!" I shout.

"Sonic!" I hear someone else shouts.

I look to the voice and see Berry and her friends. They are swinging in with their grappling tool. They swing in and grab Sonic.

"Buddies! Don't! You'll be sucked in too!" Sonic says to them.

"We're not going to lose you!" says Mango.

"Everybody needs you!" says Kiwi.

Berry and Cherry bark. Their grappling tool let go and they all go into the black hole.

"No!" I shout.

The black hole disappears. It's gone…with them inside it. No, there must be a way to get them out of there. Me and Tails fall down onto the floor. We get back up.

"But we destroyed the Phantom Rudy's power source," says Tails.

"Tsk, tsk," says Eggman. He flies in front of us. "Since you ALWAYS destroy the power source of my weapons, I decided to learn from my mistakes. I had a back-up power source created under Metropolis. What do you think of that Julie? Not so stupid now, am I?"

I didn't say anything. I guess Eggman got us there. But I'm not letting him win. We'll beat him and take back Sonic's world.

"Come on Kat!" I shout.

"Right, let's get him!" says Kat.

I power up into my battle outfit. "Okay, you may have got us there but we're not giving up." I fire my magic and hit Eggman's flying machine.

The flying machine shakes as it got hit. "Now now, Julie. No need to throw a fit just because I finally won. It's not fair that Sonic gets to win every time. Shouldn't I get a chance to win once in a while?"

"And let you capture all those animals?!" I shout.

"And trap them in robots," says Kat.

"No way!" me and Kat both shout at Eggman. I hit Eggman with another magic.

"Temper, temper, I'll just leave you to calm down," says Eggman. He flies away.

"Hey, come back here you coward!" Kat shouts.

I look at Tails and see that he is looking at the place where the black hole used to be.

"Is there a way to open it again?" says Tails.

"If we open it, we can get Sonic and the others out," I say.

"But we need the Phantom Ruby to open it. I doubt Infinite will open it again."

"And we can't ask him nicely, that selfish, sadistic meanie," says Kat.

"Kat, you need to come up with another word that starts with 'S'," Darkwing says through the communicator.

"Okay Darkwing. How about…stinker?! Actually, that does sound better, that selfish, sadistic stinker!"

"I really can't do that, I can't think of any words that start with the same letter," I say.

"It's easy when you know all the words. You should get a dictionary, that helps," Darkwing says to me.

"Sup everyone? I missed this place," Sonic says through the communicator.

"Sonic?!" we shout.

"What happened Sonic? You guys just up and disappeared!" says Knuckles.

"Nothing happened, literally," says Sonic.

"Yeah, it was boring in there! It was just nothing!" says Melon.

"Come on, let's track down Eggman!" says Sonic.

I look at Tails. He nods at me. We go off and fight off the robots. We run across the place, flying over gaps and beating the bad guys.

"How is the battle going?" Sonic asks us.

"We've got them on the ropes! If our fleet can keep the upper hand, we should have things under control soon," says Amy.

"You're gonna miss out on the fun if you don't hurry, Sonic," says Rouge.

We carry on helping the others beat the bad guys. I use my magic to beat them while Tails spin jumps at the bad guys. After beating all the bad guys, I follow Tails to the top of a building where we find Sonic, Berry and her friends. I see Eggman flying away, leaving Orbot and Cubot behind.

"Maybe he'd have more friends if he didn't talk about himself in third person," says Sonic.

Berry and her friends smile at Sonic and give him a thumb up. Sonic smiles back at them. I hear something hitting something. I look and see Orbot and Cubot flying away. They must have bump into each other.

"Hey Julie, you dropped this," says Sonic. He gives me the link ring.

"Thanks," I say. I thought I lost it in the black hole.

"We've got less than an hour before Eggman's plan goes down," says Knuckles.

"There's no more time. We have to break into the fortress now," says Shadow.

"Indeed, this is it – our last opportunity to bring peace back into the world," says Silver.

"This is our last chance. Give it everything you've got!" says Knuckles.

We make it to the next place. There are lots of copies of bad guys in front of us. I look around and see more animal friends. They are helping us. They are all different animals. There's a pink and white bird with a gamer cap and a bag, a black and white dog with big ears, there're bears, rabbits, hedgehogs, birds, and lots of other animals.

"Let's go!" Knuckles shouts.

A red wolf with glasses and wearing green gloves and shoes barks and waves his hand. Everybody run into battle. Me and my team run in too. I power up into my battle outfit. We work together and beat up the bad guys. They are mostly copies of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Chaos and the bad guy from the lost world. We make it through to Infinite.

"Hey, Infinite. Long time no see! Did you miss me?" says Sonic.

"Why yes, I did. I've been looking forward to finishing you and your annoying friends!" says Infinite. He sends a blast that sent us all flying backward. "I trust you're all ready for oblivion? If you're not…oh well."

Before he can do anything to us, someone fires lasers at Infinite. Infinite dodges and blocks the lasers. I look to the right and see Omega.

"What!? Who dares!?" says Infinite. He is looking at Omega.

"Target reconfirmed. Extermination mode initiated. Payback INEVITABLE," says Omega.

"Omega! You've joined us!? Awesome!" says Rouge.

"Is there no end to these annoying insects? I will burn you all to ashes!" says Infinite. He sends something into the sky. A very big- no, massive fire ball appears in the sky.

"Whoa, you've got to be kidding. That's just a special effect, right?" says Knuckles.

"If it is, how much does it cost to do that?" says Darkwing. "I doubt Tuskerninni can pull that special effect off."

"No, it's not a special effect! While we're under the Phantom Ruby's control, it's a part of our reality!" says Tails.

"Unbelievable! What chance do we have against that?" says Espio.

"Julie, can you protect us with your magic shield?" Crystal asks me.

"Don't know but I'm going to try anyway," I say.

"The sun will fall upon you all. BOOM! THE END! Your pathetic lives are over," says Eggman.

Wait, that's the sun?! No way!

"Julie, I know that our magic is powerful but I don't think we can handle that," says Kat.

Oh dear, I'm thinking the same but we need to try anyway. I'm going to give it all I got.

"If only we can stop the Phantom Ruby's power…," says Tails.

"If we can get another Phantom Ruby, maybe we can stop this," says Speedy.

"But they got rid of all the prototypes," says Starry Bomber.

"Grr… We made it so far. We were so close," says Knuckles.

"This is truly world shattering," says Espio.

"Grr! Isn't there anything we can do?" says Vector.

"Retreat?" says Darkwing. He sounds very confused when he said that.

"To where? There's nowhere we can go," says Silver.

"I will try my best to protect you guys. I'll use my magic shield," I say.

"Thanks Julie, that is reassuring but even you have a limit," says Vector.

"Hey guys, where are they going?" Tails asks us.

We look and see Berry and her friends going up the tower. They are dodging the bad guys and avoiding dangers.

"Are they going toward the sun?! Wait, don't!" black Bomberman shouts.

"There's no way they can stop it. What are they thinking," says Guido.

"You'll be burnt to a crisp! Give it up, rookies! Fall back!" Knuckles shouts.

Berry and her friends are not listening to us. They keep going up the tower. We watch in horror as they keep going up, beating the bad guys with their weapons and collecting rings.

"Listen to Knuckles, you're going to get burnt to a crisp if you get too close," says Speedy.

"Berry, Cherry, Mango, Lychee, Melon, Grape, Kiwi! What are you doing?!" I shout through the communicator.

"You said something about using the Phantom Ruby prototype to stop the sun," says Grape. "We found one in the Mystic Jungle. Maybe we can use it to stop it."

I can hear Berry and Cherry barking.

"That's right, we can do this. Sonic taught us that," says Mango.

"And you all helped us when we needed it. Now it our turn to help you," says Kiwi.

"You got a Phantom Ruby? Maybe we need to fight fire with fire. If you can get close enough to that sun, the prototype should cancel out the effect!" says Tails.

"It's all up to the rookies now," says Silver.

"I believe in them. I know they can do it," I say.

My team nod their head.

"The chances of success are miniscule. It's a desperate long shot!" says Tails.

"Please, come back in one piece!" says Amy.

We watch as Berry and her friends go up to the top of the tower. More dangers come. Big lasers are coming down. Berry and her friends quickly outrun them.

"You're a real soldiers now rookies. You can do this!" says Knuckles.

They keep going up, avoiding the lasers and wall jumping upward.

"Hang in there a bit longer!" says Amy.

"Show everyone what you're made of!" says Vector.

"You can do it!" says Speedy.

"C'mon, you can make it!" says Knuckles.

They run across the top of the tower and bounce inside it. I follow Tails and Starry Bomber up in the air on my flying board. We look up at the sun. I think I see Berry and her friends going into it.

"Buddies?" says Tails.

We all just look up. After a while, the sun disappears. They did it! I hear everybody cheers.

"Sounds like Eggman isn't too please, he's wondering what just happened," says Kat. She is using her super hearing to eavesdrop on Eggman.

I follow Tails and Starry Bomber to the top of the tower. Berry and her friends are lying on the floor. There seem to be broken pink things on the floor next to them.

"Impossible! I thought all the prototypes were destroyed!" says Eggman. He flies in front of Berry and her friends.

Me, Tails and Starry Bomber flies in and go to Berry and her friends. We help them up.

"A costly oversight, Doctor," says Tails. "This is why I always check and double check as any good scientist would."

Kat uses her healing power to heal Berry and her friends.

"Are you okay?" Starry Bomber asks them.

"Yes, thanks," says Lychee.

"Well Eggman, what do you think of that? Looks like you're not a good scientist that you think you are," says Kat.

I give Eggman a big smirk when Kat said that.

"Just you wait and see," says Eggman. He flies away.

Looks like everybody are going on the attack. We go to Eggman's base in the Mortar Canyon. Sonic is riding on the rail.

"That must have used up a ton of energy. The Phantom Ruby should be weaker now! This is our only chance to defeat Infinite!" says Tails.

"All ships, provide backup to Sonic and the others! Draw the enemy's attention and shield them from damage!" says Knuckles.

"Don't worry, we got this!" says white Bomberman.

"Hey Sonic, when you see Infinite, pummel him to a pulp!" says Quiverwing.

"Will do Quiverwing," says Sonic.

I'm helping out too. I use my magic to blast down the flying robots. There are a lot of bad guys but that's because we're at Eggman's base. Of course there're going to be lots of bad guys in here. But of course, that won't stop Sonic. I fly in and jump onto the floor. I run and beat the bad guys using my battle staff. Sounds like the good guys in the ships are trying their best to help us. They are buying us more time but are being attacked and have to fall back. I hope they are okay. I carry on beating up the bad guys. After beating them all, I look around for my friends. They must have gone to Eggman's base. I run and follow the path. Maybe it's this way…I hope it's this way. I find more bad guys. I beat them and keep going forward. Maybe if I just follow this path, I might find my friends or Eggman. I jump over to another path. I follow that path. I jump across the broken path and onto another path. I keep moving forward. I finally make it! I see Sonic with Berry and her friends. Infinite is on the floor, going red. Looks like they beaten him.

"Impossible. I cannot be defeated," says Infinite.

Sonic waves his finger at Infinite and says to him, "Wrong, loser! The things that can't be defeated are heart, soul, and the bonds of friendship. Three things you and your counterfeit cronies lack!"

Infinite doesn't look too happy about that. He punches the floor with his hand. He is starting to disappear. "No, wait! I can still fight!" he shouts. He disappears into red light which goes over to a building.

"What happened to him?" I ask.

Sonic, Berry and her friends give me a very confused look. They have no idea what happened to Infinite. By the sound of it, he might be back.

"You never fail to surprise me, Sonic. I didn't believe Infinite could lose," says Eggman. He flies in front of us. "Victory will be so much sweeter when I defeat you. Don't think this is over yet, you blue nuisance. My plan just went into overtime!" Eggman flies away.

"Sonic, Julie, can you hear me?" says Speedy.

"Yes, what is it?" I ask.

"We found the entrance to the Central Tower. Meet us there. Eggman is up to something."

"Yeah, he just said that his plan just went into overtime," says Sonic.

"Just be careful, there're still some Eggman's robots around. There are also electricity and homing missiles. Oh and watch your step when jumping across floating platforms and spinning wheel platforms," says Darkwing.

We go over and go inside the building. I'm on my flying board and using my link ring to follow Sonic. We go down the wall, avoiding the bad guys' lasers.

"The Phantom Ruby signal is headed for the reactor. You have to hurry!" says Tails.

"The reactor is in the innermost part of the fortress. But the defense system is too tough to break through by normal means," says Amy.

The walls go up as we keep running down. There are sharp blades in different places. We quickly move around them.

"Good thing we're not normal. We'll find a way through!" says Sonic.

We make it past the blades. The walls move away and more flying bad guys fly in and shoot lasers at us. We dodge them. We run off the slope and fall down. Berry and her friends help us swing over to the rails using their grappling tool. We ride down the rails.

"So this is where Eggman built Infinite," says Tails.

"It's so sad. What a lonely place to be brought into the world," says Amy.

We ride the rails to the end. We run down the wall.

"The reactor is close. Hurry!" says Tails.

"We're on it! Here goes!" says Sonic.

We dodge the flying robots' lasers and the blades. We run off the slope and swing over to the floor.

"Well, I'll be. They made it! They actually made it!" says Knuckles.

"Oh Knuckles, you need to have more faith in them," says Darkwing.

"That's strange, I'm sure you had a worried look on your face, Darkwing," says Blaze.

"Blaze!" Darkwing quickly says.

We all laugh.

"I could use a little breather right about now. I'll feel better once we blow this thing to pieces!" says Sonic.

We beat the bad guys and attack the tube thing with what looks like crystals inside it. That might be the power source. We break the tube. The cannons around the machine start moving around. They fire lasers at us. We jump over them. We beat the bad guys and quickly move to the next tube. We hit the tube until it breaks. We go to the next tube while avoiding the lasers. I notice that Berry and her friends are doing great. Lychee isn't falling down anymore. He's running on all fours and sometime runs on his hands. He uses his tail to hold his weapon. His weapon is like a whip made of lightning. Berry is using a drill-like weapon to attack. Grape blows away the bad guys with a weapon that shoots out winds. Mango has a weapon that makes clones of herself which she uses to attack the bad guys. They are like homing missiles. And Melon has a weapon that shoots out a black hole that sucks bad guys in. We make it to the tube and break it. The machine in the middle blows up. We run away from this place.

"Pretty thrilling, huh, partners? It's time to head back. Everone's waiting for us," says Sonic.

Berry and her friends high five Sonic. They go into a spin dash with Sonic shouting, "Super Speed boost!" I follow them using my link ring. They are going very fast. We speed through this place really quickly. We make it out. I see the rest of my team coming toward us.

"We did it! Eggman's army is officially butt-kicked. We won!" says Sonic. Sonic is about to fist bump Berry and her friends. Everything starts shaking. "Oh, come on! Now what? Can't we ever just win and have that be the end of it?"

I am struggling to stand. Everyone is.

"Look!" says Tails. He points behind me.

I look behind and see a massive robot. It has lots of arms.

"Gotcha! The fortress reactor was just a decoy. A true winner always keeps his trump card hidden until the end," says Eggman.

"Sonic, what's going on? There aren't less ememies! There's MORE!" Vector says through the communicator.

"What?!" says Tails.

"There are so many of them," says Cream.

"Confirmed sightings indicate Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, Chaos, Infinite… Thousands of them!" says Rouge.

"What have you done!?" Sonic shouts at Eggman.

"Mwa-hahaha! I merely incorporated the Phantom Ruby into this Death Egg Robot," says Eggman.

"What?! I thought the Phantom Ruby was in Infinite," I say. I am so confused.

"But that means the Phantom Ruby no longer has a vulnerable energy supply. It's an invulnerable Ruby?" says Tails. He looks really worried.

"A good deduction, Tails. This Death Egg Robot has… No, I have surpassed Infinite to become the complete and ultimate form. You will be crushed by this Death Egg Robot powered by the Phantom Ruby, and in the end everything will still be just as I planned!" Eggman laughs and uses the power of the Phantom Ruby on us.

Everything goes red for a bit before going back to normal. I use my hands to shield my head when he used that power.

"Your plan will end like all your plans do: with you sitting in a pile of busted robot parts wondering how you failed so badly," says Sonic.

"That's right! Let's beat him and save the day!" I say.

"This should be the perfect time to say this. Let's get dangerous!" says Darkwing.

Sonic nods at us and says, "Let's get them!"

We all rush in. We split up into three groups; Berry and her friends in one group, Sonic is with Tails, Darkwing, Bombermen, Speedy and Guido, and the last group is me, Kat, Amy, Crystal, Quiverwing, Polly and Starry Bomber.

I power up into my battle outfit. We are standing on purple blocks. We collect the rings floating in the air.

"He's overclocking the Phantom Ruby! That's insane!" Tails says through the communicator.

We dodge the laser that is shooting from the big robot's eye by jumping over it. We move to the right as purple blocks appear to the right. At the same time, the purple blocks on the left start to disappear.

"No regular tool can damage it now. You guys are our last chance!" says Rouge.

"Right then, let's do this guys!" I shout.

"Right!" my team say.

I use my magic to try to hit the big robot. It does nothing to it. Starry Bomber tries using her Bead Bomb on the robot. It also does nothing to it.

"That didn't go well," I say.

The big robot throws metal balls at us.

"Julie, look out!" Amy shouts. She hits the metal ball away from me with her hammer.

"Thanks Amy," I say.

"Look out, it's coming back!" Polly shouts.

Polly jumps in front of me and Amy. She hits the metal ball away from us with her sword. The metal ball is sent flying toward the big robot. It bounces off the big robot and falls down. Me and Amy thank Polly. We quickly move right as the purple blocks disappear on the left.

"Laser!" Quiverwing shouts.

We jump over the laser. We keep going right. The big robot throws more metal balls at us. There're lots of them. I look around for my battle staff. Where did it go? I use my magic to hit the metal ball away.

"Have any of you seen my battle staff?" I ask.

"Yes, it fell on top of my feet," says Crystal. She knocks the metal ball away with my battle staff. She gives me back my battle staff.

"Sorry," both me and Kat say to Crystal.

We run to the right and dodge the laser attack. The big robot throws more metal balls at us. Starry Bomber knocks them away using her bombs. Quiverwing uses her bow and arrow to knock them away. Something breaks on the big robot. It falls down.

"We did it?" says Crystal.

"What did we do?" I ask. How did we hit it? None of our attacks work on it.

"Those things that it threw at us, it must have broken its barrier," says Starry Bomber.

Oh, those metal balls we hit. We must have hit them back at the big robot. "So we hit him with his own attack?" I say.

"It's Berry's and the others' turn to fight it. You can do it!" Quiverwing shouts.

"Don't look now but we should go before the floor disappears," says Kat.

We look down and see that the purple blocks are disappearing one by one. Uh oh! Starry Bomber quickly grabs Amy and Crystal while I get Polly and Quiverwing on my flying board. We fly to a safe place. We look around the place. After a while, we meet up with Berry and her friends.

"You're okay?!" Amy asks them.

"Yeah, it was a close one," says Mango.

"It was firing lasers everywhere and destroying the floor we were on," says Melon.

"We also had to dodge the missiles and deal with Eggman's robots. The missiles weren't much of a problem. Melon sneezed them away," says Grape.

"And don't forget the shockwaves from his hands every time he slammed it to the floor," says Kiwi.

"We were able to break through it but Eggman came out in another robot. Sonic and the others are fighting him now."

"We better go and help them," says Polly.

We enter this weird place. The floor is blue boxes- cubes? They wave up and down. It looks like the floor is being created as Sonic and the others move toward Eggman. Sonic and the others dodge the laser and hit the robot. Each of them hit different part of the robot. We run up to them.

"Great timing, let's finish this! There is nothing we can't achieve together! Victory is ours for the taking!" says Sonic.

We use our link rings to keep up with Sonic. Sonic shouts out, "Ultimate speed boost!" and we all quickly speed boost through the robot, destroying it. We make it back out. We find out from Knuckles that all the copies are all gone. We all go back to the hideout where everybody celebrates. The good egg robots give us free ice creams and milkshakes. They also ordered chilli dogs. We are happily eating and talking with our friends.

"Rest up everybody. After this, we need to clean up the mess that Eggman left this world in, and I'm not talking about those illusions he dreamed up for us! We need to fix the real world we all live in," says Sonic.

"True dat!" says Tails.

"We'll help out too, I'm ready to help you clean up this mess," says Quiverwing.

"What?! You never clean your room! Why would you-?" Darkwing looks at his wrist communicator. He types something in the computer. "Oh, so that's it. Gosalyn, you need to do your homework. You can't just leave it. Once we finish celebrating here, we're going back to our world," Darkwing says to Quiverwing.

"But dad, they need our help!"

"Gosalyn, you need to do your homework. It's very important. Don't worry, if there're any more adventures… You can come with us. You're part of our team and we can help you with your homework," I say to Quiverwing.

"Okay, you're the best, Julie!"

"Why does she always listen to you and not me?" says Darkwing.

We laugh.

"So buddies, what are you going to do after this?" Sonic asks Berry and her friends.

"We have been thinking about this. We decided that we'll form a resistance and help others that need our help," says Kiwi.

"What? You're leaving us? OK, I'm not gonna stop you," says Knuckles.

"Man, the first time I saw you stumbling around, I had no idea you could pull this thing together and see it to the end," says Vector. He pats Lychee on his back. "I've changed my mind about you guys."

"I knew you'd come through, rookies. Well, I guess you're not rookies anymore!"

"You did good out there. It's not like you just waited till the last minute to come in and act all cool saving the day," says Rouge.

Omega points his hand at Rouge. Rouge just smiles at him. She knows that Omega won't hurt her. Omega must have known that Rouge is only joking.

"Hey, there's nothing wrong with acting all cool while saving the day at the last minute," says Darkwing.

"Yeah, it's one of the tropes. You'll see it in most anime," says Speedy.

"As long as you save the day then I don't mind," I say.

"Our battle is done and has come to a conclusion, but we'll be friends forever. A single person cannot restore the entire world. We have to work together and make a diligent effort," says Tails.

We nod and agree with Tails. After a while, we finish celebrating. Berry and her friends shake hands with us. They smile at us.

"Thank you so much, you really helped us," says Kiwi.

"And thank to you, we grown and learnt a lot," says Grape.

"I am so glad we met all of you. Thanks," says Mango.

"Yeah, thanks. We're not as clumsy as before," says Melon.

"Tails is right, we will always be friends," says Lychee.

Berry and Cherry bark and nod their head.

"I'm so happy that we can help and I'm very happy for you all," I say.

"Don't be a stranger," says Kat.

"Yeah, come visit us anytime," says white Bomberman.

"Keep moving forward, no matter what," says Sonic. "Heh, you and I aren't so different. See ya later, buddies!" Sonic fist bumps Berry and her friends.

Berry and her friends wave goodbye to us and run off to another place. Sonic gives them a thumb up.

"Come on guys, let's clean up the mess and get this world back to normal," Sonic says to us.

"Right!" me and my team say.

"After I drop Gosalyn back at home," says Darkwing. "Launchpad should be back home so I'm going to leave her with him. I'll come back to help you clean up."

"I guess I have no choice. If I finish my homework early, I'll come to help you guys out. After all, I am part of the team," says Quiverwing.

Darkwing and Quiverwing wave goodbye to us and go through the portal to their world. Me and my team help clean up with the rest of Sonic's friends.

As you already might noticed, I didn't include Classic Sonic in this chapter. I watched on Youtube and saw most people complaining about how Classic Sonic didn't do much in the game or how he didn't add anything to the game...or how Tails and the others were portrayed as weaklings that lost their way. I was very confused when they said Classic Sonic was from another dimension when he was supposed to be from the past. I like some of Classic Sonic's stages...except the Casino Forest. I hate that stage, I think it's ugly. While playing the game, I felt that other characters can fill in for Classic Sonic. I mean, Tails could have done it or even Vector or Silver or Amy. I don't like the fact that we can't control the other well known Sonic characters. They're there but you can't control them. Other than that, the main music is awesome! (I think it's called Fist Bump).

And here's my OCs profiles:

Berry the Wolf – A blackish blue coloured female wolf wearing reddish pink coloured top, pant, gloves and sneakers. She has reddish pink coloured eyes and pointed ears that are a bit curl at the top. She also has pointed back hairs at the side of her back of her head (Type 1). She is the twin sister of Cherry the Dog. Her weapon is Drill Wispon; a drill like weapon that can drill through enemies. With the yellow Wisp, she can dig through floors and walls.

Cherry the Dog – A reddish pink coloured female dog wearing blackish blue top, pant, gloves and sneakers. She has blackish blue coloured eyes and round floppy ears that go down her side (Type 2). She is twin sister of Berry the wolf. Her weapon is the Burst Wispon; a flamethrower like weapon that fires flame at the enemies. With the red Wisp, she can shoot herself into the air with explosions.

Both Berry and Cherry are silent and prefer not to talk. If they do talk, they will grunt instead of talking normally.

Mango the Mountain Cat – A yellow female mountain cat with pointed ears (Cat character: Type 2) and yellow eyes. She wears red and black patterned china dress, yellow fingerless gloves, and green sandals. She is very agility and can climb up wall and ceiling using her claws. Her weapon is the Asteroid Wispon; a weapon that makes copies of Mango. She can shoot her copies at the enemies. With the indigo coloured Wisp, the copies surround her like a ring. She also gains invincibility and sucks in any items that are near her.

Lychee the Opossum – A white male opossum with round ears (his head shape is the wolf character Type 3, only with round ears instead of pointed ears) and white eyes. He has furry pointed white cheeks (similar to Tails) and wears red gloves and brown sneakers. He always trips when walking and running on his legs but can walk and run on all four just fine. He likes going upside down and never get motion sickness. He's excellent at doing handstands, and can walk and run on his hands. He can use his tail like an extra hand to carry things or use his tail to hang on trees/poles. His weapon is the Lightning Wispon; a lightning type weapon that acts like a whip. With the ivory coloured Wisp, Lychee can quickly move fast when near rings and enemies.

Melon the Panda Bear – A light and dark green male panda bear wearing red glove, sneakers and a belt of pouches for his tissues and wipes. Instead of black and white, he is light and dark green. He has round ears (Type 3 only a little bit bigger) and dark green eyes. He is the youngest and smallest of the group. Even though he is small, he can pack a punch with his powerful sneeze. He can even sneeze a hole in a brick wall. The only problem is that his sneezing is so powerful that every time he sneezes, he is sent flying backward. Luckily, he can control his sneezing by covering his nose with his hands or by using a tissue. His weapon is the Void Wispon; a gun like weapon that shoots out black holes that sucks enemies and rings in. With the violet coloured Wisp, Melon can teleport within a certain area range.

Kiwi the Porcupine – A light green female porcupine with brown spikes all over her back (think of it like Mighty's red shell only with lots of quills that make it look like she has long spikey hairs) and wearing black dress, necklace and black shoes. She has brown eyes. She can fire her spikes at the bad guys and instantly grow new spikes. Her weapon is the Cube Wispon; a hammer like weapon that turns enemies into cubes when hit with the hammer. With the blue Wisp, Kiwi can create platforms in the air.

Grapes the Swift – A dark purple and white male swift (bird) wearing a dark blue neck scarf, light green gloves, light green sneakers, red visor machine over his left eye, white headset microphone and a light green and yellow waist pouch. His colour pattern looks like white fire shaped pattern on his body and arms. He has a small white fire pattern near his right eye. (This pattern is in the bodysuit section of the custom character create screen which comes in three colours; black, blue and white). He has three pointed hairs that go up the back of his head with the top one going over and above his head (Type 2). His eyes colour is dark purple. He can gather information and gain hard to get items using his connections with people he knows from around the world. His weapon is the Hover Wispon; a gun like weapon that can blows away enemies with winds. With the green Wisp, Grapes can fly through the air.

(Note: I'm not too good at describing them so if you see (Type number), that the style type of the custom character in the Sonic Forces game. Most of my characters look the same or similar look to the Sonic Forces custom character. All of them have the Type 1 style eyes and all the females have eyelashes).

At first, Cherry was supposed to be the wolf and Berry the dog. I changed it around as my very first custom character was a blue wolf (my older sister helped me make her). I also wanted to give them very special trait like Tails' two tails. I wanted Cherry to have a drill tail while Berry has bouncing spring tail (like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh). After reading about custom character on Sonic Wikipedia, I decided to remove all that and have Berry and Cherry as normal girls that don't talk much.

The idea for Melon having a powerful sneeze was from that YouTube video of the sneezing baby panda. I thought that was cute and funny. This also reminded me of another cartoon character that has the same powerful sneeze. I realized it's Sneezer from Tiny Toons Adventures. My first idea for Melon was for him to have super strength but I didn't put that in.

Lychee was originally going to have long ears like a rabbit. He would have used his long ears to walk upside down. Since opossum don't have long ears, he would be picked on by other opossum just because of that. Again, I changed my mind and changed Lychee into a normal opossum that struggled to walk on his two feet.

I changed the type of animals as I wanted animals that weren't already part of the Sonic games. We got Cream the Rabbit, Blaze the Cat (I love cat so I made my OC a mountain cat), I think there's a bear in the fighting game, Jet and his team (which are birds), and we got three hedgehogs. I wanted different animals that're not in the Sonic games already.

My next custom character was a female pink bird with fire shaped pattern wearing a 'GAMER' cap and bag. She helps out during the confrontation with Eggman's army. My youngest sister made this one.

There's also another OC character that my older sister made. She originally made this character to be a sidekick to Knuckles a few years after the game 'Sonic and Knuckles' came out. She gave up when Cream came in as her OC has the same ability as Cream. Her OC is a male black and white dog with very long floppy ears (she might have gotten this idea from the Klonoa game). He also helps out during the confrontation with Eggman's army.

The red wolf from the trailer will lead the custom characters on the attack against Eggman's army.
