And a message to William Hoenicke, I'm sorry, but I won't do Mega Evolution, but you did make me think about something else we can do instead of Mega Evolution, and not just to attacks coming up in the battle. But you do have to wait and see what I mean. So here's chapter 18.
Chapter 18
Of Sacred And Legendary Blood
After a day of cleaning up the port, Putting their Pokemon in their Pokeballs, Frederick had a message for Simon, Chrom, and Robin. "Milord, we have word from Plegia. They have agreed to meet with us at their outpost on Carrion Isle. A poor venue should things go sour, as the island's name makes plain. But then I don't see we have much of a choice." Frederick said to Chrom.
"Cautious as ever, Frederick the Wary. Don't worry. We'll get our ships." Chrom said to Frederick. "He has a reason for being cautious. Giving the time it would take for a message to get from her to Plegia and then back again. They're ruler must have agreed to meet with us in less than an hour." Simon said to Chrom, scratching his chin.
"I'm sure they understand the situation. "This threat hangs over all of us- Plegia as well. They must see that." Chrom said to Simon. "As you wish. Then let's go." Simon said to Chrom. Then they gathered the Shepherds, leaving Basilio, Flavia, and their Pokemon to try and salvage something from the port.
After traveling for a day, they reached Carrion Isle, as the night sky was overhead. The people who went into the fortress were Chrom, Robin, Frederick, Simon, Madison, Ethan, and their Pokemon. There was hardly anyone in the fortress, but Aversa walked up to them, with no Pokemon by her side. "Greetings, Prince Chrom. Plegia welcomes you." Aversa said to Chrom.
"Aversa!" Chrom said to Aversa. "What can I say? It seems fate has designs for me yet." Aversa. "You serve the new king, then? This… Validar?" Chrom asked Aversa. "I do." Aversa said to Chrom. "Is he here? We never met the man. We just got letters from him." Ethan asked Aversa. "They say he worships Grima… And even though he allows Pokemon into the land, he doesn't have one." Frederick said to Aversa.
"Why yes of course he is Grimleal. We are both believers. And it would be an insult to our faith if we have a Pokemon partner. My liege often says it was his faith that got him through, after gangrel's passing it was a difficult time… even with Madison and Ethan's help… But he kept order where there might have been chaos. We had meant to arrange an official visit to Ylisstol, but- Ah, here is my lord now." Aversa said, as a man walked to everyone.
That man was the same man Zacian killed that night when assassins tried to kill Emmeryn. "What?" Simon quietly asked. "An honor to finally meet you, sire. I am Validar, king regnant of Plegia." the man said to Chrom. "The honor is mine, good king… Is it possible we've met before some… Gods! It can't be." Chrom said to Validar, realizing who he was.
"Oh ho, I'm quite certain I would remember any encounter with Ylissean royalty." Validar said to Chrom. "Psst! Robin! Simon!" Chrom asked them, whispering. "I know! He looks just like the assassin that came after Emmeryn…" Robin whispered to Chrom. "But that's not possible. We saw Zacian blow him up." Simon whispered to Chrom and Robin.
"And you two must be Lady Robin and Sir Simon." Validar said to them. "You know of us, sire?" Robin asked Validar. "The whole world knows of Ylisse's master tactician and their great shield! And Indeed, I see the sparkle of wisdom in Robin's eyes, and of will in Simon's eyes." Validar said to them.
"Charming of you to say that. Now can we discuss our request?" Simon asked Validar. "Very well. Let's get to it." Validar said to everyone. "Plegia can offer no soldiers, but will provide 800 warships and 200 transports. In addition, we would be pleased to fully fund the campaign against Valm." Aversa said to everyone.
"This is… surprisingly generous of you, mildord. We could not ask for more, quite literally. You offer most all your assets…" Frederick said to Validar. "I would give troops as well, but our army remains in shambles from the last war. I trust the gold and ships will suffice as a sign of our commitment to the cause?" Validar asked everyone. "Of course it will. Thank you, King Validar." Chrom said to Validar.
"The honor is ours, my prince. I look forward to building a strong bond between our two nations." Validar said to Chrom. "As I do I. Then, If there's nothing else? My men and I must hurry back to Port Ferox." Chrom said to Validar. Oh, so soon? But I have one more introduction to make." Aversa said to Chrom. "Yes? And who would that be?" Chrom asked Aversa. "A hierophant, the highest of her order in all Plegia." Validar said to Chrom.
That's when a woman wearing the same outfits Robin wore when they all met her, walked up to everyone, with the hood up. The woman said nothing to everyone when she reached everyone. "So you lead the people in worship? We were just discussing religion earlier…" Robin said to the woman. But the woman said nothing. "I'm sorry, have I said something to offend you?" Robin asked the woman.
The heart still sleeps, but the blood flows through it. And the blood is strong…" The woman said to everyone. "Huh? Beg pardon, were you talking to me?" Robin asked the woman. "Good hierophant, I would ask you lower your cowl. IN Ylisse, it is a courtesy expected of one in the presence of royalty." Frederick said to the woman.
"You are a long way from Ylisse sir. But very well." The woman said to Frederick, taking off her hood, revealing that she looked exactly like Robin, with everyone shocked. "Is that better?" The woman asked Frederick, with a smirk on her face. "What?!" Robin asked. "By the goods!" Chrom said. "What manner of sorcery-." Frederick said. "She looks just like… me." Robin said.
"Care to introduce yourself." Simon asked the woman. My name is Robin. Oh, and that was YOUR name as well, wasn't it? What a strange coincidence…" The woman said to Simon and Robin. "Why that IS rather curious, now that you mention it… what are the odds?" Validar asked everyone. "Not as crazy as you think. I've seen a lot more people with the same face and name." Simon said to Validar.
"In any case, I believe we are finished here. We will let you be on your w-" Validar said to everyone, but Chrom interrupted him. "Hold just one moment!" Chrom said to Validar. "Milord?" Aversa asked Chrom. "What is the meaning of this? Why do your hierophant and Robin-" Chrom asked everyone, but Aversa interrupted him.
"I'm afraid we've no time for such trivial matters now, Your Highness. We have aid preparations to attend to, and you have a long, hard journey ahead… Oh, and do be careful on your way back to Port Ferox. This time of year the highroads of Plegia can be quite treacherous…" Aversa said, before she, Validar, and the woman left.
"Come on, let's go." Simon said to everyone, as he led everyone out of the fortress. Ater gathering everyone, they moved to the wilds of highroads, and decided to make camp at the base of a small canyon. While making camp, Robin walked away from everyone, thinking of that woman that looked like her and unable to sleep. "It's no use. I can't sleep. Who was that woman? How could she bear my same face? I know Simon said there were people like that back in his world, but this is unreal." Robin said to herself.
"Robin… Heed me, Robin…" a male voice said. "Huh? Who's there?! Th-there's no one. I'm alone…" Robin said, looking around for the source of the voice. "Heed my call, Robin, as Robin got a killer headache. "Nngh… this voice is… in my head! Who are you?! What's happening?!" Robin asked, holding her hands to her head.
That's when Validar appeared in front, but only Robin could see him. "Why do you close your heart to him, Robin?" Validar said to Robin. "V-Validar?" Robin asked Validar. "Have you truly forgotten?" Validar asked Robin. "You were… calling me… Augh! My head! Get out of my mind!" Robin said to Validar.
"Heh heh. Such arrogance! You dare take such a tone… with your own father?!" Validar asked Robin. "My what?" Robin asked Validar. "You are of my flesh, but of sacred blood. You are to serve a glorious purpose! Search deep in your heart. You already know it is your destiny…" Validar said to Robin. "No… Get… out…" Robin said to Validar
"Why do you resist, Robin? Your rightful place is at my side. Not wasting your time with these doomed servants of Naga, and the children of her alley Arceus! Give yourself to Grima! Let me join your strength to the fell dragon!" Validar said to Robin.
That's when Chrom, Simon, Pyroar, and Absol came running up to Robin. "Robin!" Chrom said to Robin. "Are you okay?" Simon asked Robin. "Pah! Not these guys again… No matter. In time you will see the truth. And that's all it will be- a matter of time…" Validar said, as he disappeared, and Robin's headache stopped.
"Robin! Are you alright? We heard shouting." Chrom asked Robin. "Nngh.. Ahh… Ahh… I-I think so… Yes, Chrom, thank you. I'm… I'm fine." Robin said to Chrom. "You don't sound fine." Simon said to Robin. "He has a point. "Fine" is a poor choice of words! What's happened?!" Chrom asked Robin.
"King Validar, he… He spoke to me… in my mind. He said I was his… his daughter…" Robin said to everyone. "What?! Is this true?" Chrom asked Robin. "I don't know… But I also don't know if it's a lie. Loath as I am to say it, I felt a… strange connection between us." Robin said to Chrom.
"Oh, gods… That hierophant doppelganger… Could she be the king's daughter, as well? Are you twins?" Chrom asked Robin. "I… I'm sorry, Chrom. I can't remember… But if I'm being honest… it would explain much… I'm not even sure I want to know the truth of my past anymore…" Robin said to Chrom, placing a hand on her head.
"Like it matters. You're one of us. Our tactiction, our queen, and our friend. Nothing will change that. So who cares." Simon said to Robin. "Yeah. You are yourself, before you are any man's daughter. Remember that." Chrom said to Robin. "Thank you, Chrom. And you too Simon." Robin said to them.
"Can you walk?" Chrom asked Robin. "If not. Your husband here can carry you." Simon said to Robin, painting Chrom in the back, making Chrom stumble a little, making Robin giggle a little. "It's fine. I think I can walk." Robin said to everyone, before they all walked back to camp.
Once they all reached camp, Simon changed into his Crown Zamazenta form. "What the?" Simon asked, looking at himself. Then Frederick and Luxray came running up. "Milord, we are under attack! Risen have encircled the camp!" Frederick said to Chrom. "That would explain this." Simon said, looking at himself.
But… we posted sentries! How did this happen?" Chrom asked Frederick. "They made a stealthy approach, milord. I've never seen Risen behave like this." Frederick said to Chrom. "He's right. Risen pop up every now and then, but they're normally wild and loud. Stealth is not something normal for them." Simon said to everyone. "Either they are learning our ways, or someone is commanding them…" Frederick said to everyone.
"Validar! This is his doing- I'm sure of it. Equip anyone who can bear arms, and tell them we fight for our lives!" Chrom said to Frederick. "Lady Harper is already on it." Frederick said to Chrom.
A few minutes later, the Shepherds gathered and got ready to fight, with the Trainers in their legendary forms, with Silver in his Glastrier armor. While getting ready, they noticed the Risen standing on top of the canyon. To help, Simon let out Copperajah, Daniel let out Snorlax, Harper let out Appletun, Grace let out Lapras, Theo let out Machamp, Layla let out Orbeetle, Madison let out Garbodor, and Ethan let out Grimmsnarl.
But before anyone could attack, a swarm of crows came flying in. "Wh-what's that? A storm of… crows. Gods, it's upon us!" Chrom said, as the crows swarmed in front of Chrom. "CAW! CAW! Are you folks lost? Or perhaps a lost CAWs? Heh ha!" A male voice said to Chrom. "Who's there?! Show yourself! Gods' breath, I can't see anything through all these damned birds!" Chrom said, looking for the source of the voice. "PYROAR!" Pyroar roared, making the crows fly away.
With the crows gone, a young man with pale skin, white medium length hair, wearing Sorcerer armor with a dark spell book in his hands. And on his shoulder was a massive crow, with white talons, a puff of white feathers on his chest, fluffy red tail feathers, and the feathers on top of its head were in the shape of a slick gangster hat. "Honchkrow." the large crow said.
"What's wrong? CAW-strophobic? Nya ha ha! Oh, I slay me!" the man said Chrom. "Great, a crazy crow guy with a Honchkrow." Simon said to everyone. "A Honchkrow. I don't think you mentioned that Pokemon." Chrom said to Simon. "Here." Simon said to Chrom, pulling out his Rotom Phone.

It Makes Its Murkrow Cronies Bring It Food. It Idles It's Time Away, Grooming Itself In its Nest.
Simon then put his Rotom Phone away, and noticed the man was still laughing at his own joke. "Should we stop him or leave him?" Simon asked Chrom. "This is no time for japes! Hide yourself, boy and Honchkrow." Chrom said to the man, making him stop laughing.
"You know, I thought you were all right… Turns out You're all FRIGHT! Nya ha ha! I'd wish you good luck killing these monsters, buuuuuut… They're ALREADY DEAD!" the man said to Chrom. "We are well aware!" Chrom asked the man. "Crazy guy. You got a name? Or are we to call you "crazy crow man"." Simon asked the man.
"I'm Henry and the ravens wanted me to give you a message. "Caaw… C-caw-caw." Roughly translated, it means… Hmm, now that was the human word for that again? Traipse?... Tripe? oh , TRAPPED! Right! They say you're trapped." the man said to everyone. "We know that too." Simon said to Henry. "Gods… Where did they all come from?" Chrom asked.
"Well, see, when a mommy zombie and a daddy zombie love each other very much… Nya ha ha!" Henry said, before laughing. "Perhaps I should save the Risen the trouble and silence you myself." Chrom said to Henry. "Or use you as a human shield or living bait." Simon said to Henry. "Hey, wait! I want to join your CAWs- I mean, I can help you! I know magic! What do you say… Birds of a feather and all that?" Henry said to everyone.
"Those ropes… A Plegian dark mage? Why would you help us?" Chrom asked Henry. "Oh, Don't let all the joking around fool ya- I've got kind of a thing for killing. Most funny people do, you know. The two things must be linked somehow. Even talking to a jester when he's off duty? Those guys are some sick dastards!" Henry said to Chrom. "Just remember to kill them. Or we'll kill you. Understood." Simon said to Henry. "Understood." Henry said to Simon.
"Everyone, hold nothing back. Use Combos." Simon said to everyone. "Are you sure, we're still trying to figure those moves out?" Lissa asked Simon. "Like we have a choice. Copperajah use High Horse Bash." Simon said to Lissa and Copperajah.
"Copperajah." Copperajah said, as an orange outline appeared on her, and she whipped her trunk at Simon. Simon used the forces to get sent flying into a group of Risen, with his shield gowing red and double in size. Simon's shield hit a Berserker Risen, with a few Risen Fighters around it. This caused an explosion, leaving only Simon standing and the Risen gone.
"Appletun use Dragon Pulse Vine." Harper said to Appletun. "Appletun." Appletun said, as she fired a burst of purple energy with a dragon head into the air. That's when Harper fived a vine and wrapped it around the Dragon Pulse. Harper then pulled on her vine, making the Dragon Pulse move around, hitting a few of the Risen Archers, before forcing it to slam into a Risen Bow Knight. This caused all the Risen to disappear .
"Snorlax use Giga Slam." Daniel said to Snorlax, as he faced a Risen Berserker, and his fist blades glowing blue. "Snorlax." Snorlax said, as he started to form a large amount of white energy. Daniel then quickly jabs the Risen Berserker, knocking out its weapon, and forcing it into Snorlax's belly. That's when Shorlax charged, the Risen Berserker feeling the force of the charge. Then Snorlax stopped, sending the Risen Berserker flying into a tree, breaking the tree and the Risen Berserker.
"Machamp uses Ice Break." Theo said to Machamp, as he threw an ice spear at a group of Risen, making a large ice chunk appear. "Machamp." Machamp said, as his hands glowed white, and smashed the ice chunk, sending ice shards into the risen, finishing the Risen.
"Lapras use High Kick Surf." Grace said to Lapras. "Lapras." Lapras said, as she made a wave and aimed it at a group of Risen. Then Grace's feet started to glow orange, and electricity was being made. Grace used this energy to run up the wave, and kick a Risen Wyvern Rider out of the sky, knocking it down to the group of Risen, right before the wave hit them, washing them away.
"Orbeetle use Freezing Psychic." Layla said to Orbeetle, as she fired a pink beam from her book, freezing some Risen in place. "Orbeetle." Orbeetle said, as his eyes glowed pink, and pink outlines appeared on the Risen. This made the crash into each other, their weapons slamming into each other and finishing them.
"Garbodor use Venoshock Arrow." Madison said to Garbodor, as she charged up an energy arrow. "Garbodor." Garbodor said, as he mixed his poison into Madison's energy arrow, with the electricity holding it together. Then Madison fires the arrow, hitting a Risen Berserker, causing an explosion, and making a toxic cloud, poisoning the Risen around the Risen Berserker, and making drop sick.
"Grimmsnarl use Foul Beam." Ethan said to Grimmsnarl, as he opened his book and a surge of energy flowed out of it. "Grimmsnarl." Grimmsnarl said, as his fists glowed black, and with his Fairy type, he was able to send the energy flying into Risen Archers.
"Oh what fun let's try it. Honchkrow, let's try Darkness Wings." Henry said to Honchkrow. "Honchkrow." Honchkrow said, as his wings turned silver. Henry cast a dark spell, wrapping the spell around Honchrow's wings, making it glow black. Honchkrow then flew through a few Risen Berserkers, killing them.
"Us to Hydreigon, Dark Fire." Cherche said to Hydreigon, as she chopped a Risen's head off. "Hydreigon." Hydreigon said, as he fired a pulse of black rings, at the same time Minerva fired a fireball. The two attacks collided, and froed a fireball with black rings, like an atom. The attack hit the middle of some Risen, causing it to explode, killing the Risen.
"Carbink use Dazzling Cover." Anna said to Carbink. "Carbink." Carbink said, as he let out a bright multi color light, blinding a couple Risen. And with Anna's back facing Carbink, Anna wasn't blind, and was able to get in clean shalshes on the Risen.
"Primarina use Moon Dance." Olivia said to Primarina, as she started to dance, distracting a Risen Berserker. "Primarina." Primarina said, as a moon appeared above her, and she gathered energy from it. Then Primarina started to make a ball of pink energy, not that the Risen Berserker noticed. Then the Risen Berserker got hit by the pink ball of energy, finishing it.
"Cofagrigus use Necro Pulse." Therja said to Cofagrigus. "Cofagrigus." Cofagrigus said, as he fired a pulse of black rings, at the same time Therja cast a dark spell. The dark spell combined, making the dark rings glow in dark fire. The Necro Pulse hit a few Risen, breaking through some of the Risen.
"Thievul use Grass Trick." Gaius said to Thievul. "Thievul." Thievul said, as his eyes glowed green. He grew some grass around Gaius and tied them into knots around Gaius. Then a Risen Berserker came charging at Gaius, but tripped and Gaius killed it. Another Risen Berserker charged at Gaius, only for it to fall for the same trick, and Gaius to kill it.
"Talonflame/ Altaria use Aerial Strike." Cordelia and Sumia said to Talonflame and Altaria. "Talonflame/ Altaria." Talonflame and Altaria said, as they disappear and reappear behind a Risen Sniper. They slammed into the Risen's back, knocking its bow out of its hands. That's when Cordelia and Sumia flew in and finished it.
"Druddigon use Dragon Toss." Nowi said to Druddigon, as she turned into her dragon form. "Druddigon." Druddigon said, as his claws glowed teal. Druddigon then charged at a Risen Berserker, sank his claws into it, and then threw it into the air, giving Nowi a clean shot of her fire breath.
"Mimikyu use Rough Toss." Libra said to Mimikyu, as Mimikyu got onto Libra's axe. "Mimikyu." Mimikyu said, before Libra tossed her, and she started to let out some smoke. As she flew through the air, her arms popped out of the smoke, hitting the Risen, making Yellow stars and pink hearts appear, and finishing the Risen.
"Lycanroc use Rock Cover." Gregor said to Lycanroc. "Lycanroc." Lycanroc said, making rocks fall from the sky, surrounding a Risen Sniper. Using this as cover, Gregor was able to get close to it, and finished the Risen.
"Kecleon use Dig Bash." Kellam said to Kecleon, as he used his shield to take hits from a Risen Berserker. "Kecleon." Kecleon said, as he dug into the earth. Kecleon appeared out of the earth behind the Risen Berserker. That's when the ground under the risen Berserker broke, and it fell into a hole. That's when Kellam slammed his shield into Risen Berserker, finishing it.
"Mudsdale use High Horse Charge." Donnel said, as he got up onto Mudsdale, and placed the tip of his spear just ahead of Mudsdale's snot. "Mudsdale." Mudsdale said, as an orange outline appeared on Mudsale, and he started to charge. With the tip of the spear ahead of his snot, Mudsale had no trouble ramming through the Risen.
"Cinderace use Mega Pass." Panne said to Cinderace, as she turned into her beast form. "Cinderace." Cinderace said, as he ran to the back of a Risen Berserker, kicking it in the back with a mega kick, and sending it flying to Panne. This gave Panne the window she needed so she could finish it.
Dodrio use Wind Peck." Rocken said to Dorio, as he chased a wind spell around Dodrio's beck. "And Rapidash use Wind Horn." Maribelle said to Rapidash, as she cast a wind spell around Rapidash's horn. "Dodrio." Dodrio said, as his three becks grew and started to spin, with the winds blowing, the becks looked like tornados. "Rapidash." Rapidash said, as her horn glowed green and grew, with the wind blowing around it, making it look like a green upside down tornado.
Then the two of them started to charge through the Risen, and with the tornados like winds glowing round their becks and horn, they had no trouble forcing the Risen's weapons away, and getting a clear hit on them.
"Medicham use Full Force." Lon'qu said to Medicham, as he locked weapons with a Risen, who had a sword. "Medicham." Medicham said, as his palm glowed orange, and he slammed palm into the back of Lon'qu sword, making it go through the Risen and its sword, in a clean one shot.
"Castform use Comet Weather Ball." Miriel said to Castform. As she charged a fire spell. "Castfrom." Castfrom said, as he fired a ball of light into the sky, making sunlight appear, and turning into its sunday form, then formed a white ball and fired it. The white ball turned orange, and had an X outline of flames over it. That's when Miriel casted the spell, the flames joined the orange ball. This made the flames cover it, and it started to look like a comet, before it hit a Risen Sniper, causing a big fire burst, burning the Risen Sniper away.
"Bouffalant/ Tauros use Wild Horn Attack." Sully and Stahl said to Bouffalant, and Tauros. "Bouffalant/ Tauros." the two of them said, as their horns glowed white, and they rammed their honrs into everything that moved. With Sully and Stahl slashing any Risen that were pind to the horns, or that were left alive after being hit by the horns.
"Hawlucha use Submission Axe." Vaike said to Hawlucha. "Hawlucha." Hawlucha said, as he grabbed the back of a Risen Berserker, did a flip, and slammed the Risen Berserker into the gourd, its head on the ground, and legs in the air. That's when Vaike brought down his axe onto the Risen Berserker head, finishing it.
"Lurantis uses Petal Arrow." Virion said to Lurantis, as he fired a few arrows. "Lurantis." Lurantis said, as she fired a blizzard of white petals, covering the arrows. Without the ability to see the arrows, the Risen couldn't dodged the arrows, and got hit in the heads by them.
"Luxray use Thunder Spear." Frederick said to Luxray, as he threw his spear into the shoulder of a Risen Berserker. "Luxray." Luxray said, as his fangs became encased in electricity, and he bit into the spear, causing electricity to flow into the spear and then into the Risen Berserker frying it. Once it was dead, Luxray took the spear back to Frederick. "Thank you." Frederick said, as they got back to fighting.
"Blissey use Gentle Heal." Lissa said to Blissey. "Blissey." Blissey said, as she started to glow pink. Lissa then pointed a heal staff at Blissey, channeling the energy from the staff into Blissey. That's when Blissey let out a pulse of pink energy with sparkles in it. The pulse healed and restored all the humans and Pokemon, making them ready to fight again at full strength.
After a bit more fighting, they found the leader on top of a great bridge over the canyon. "Absol use Psycho Thunder." Robin said to Absol, as she charged up some electricity in her sword. "Absol." Absol said, as her horn started to glow purple. Then As Absol fired a curved pink blade from her horn, Robin fired some electricity from her blade. The electricity connected with the pink blade, and they fuse, forming a purple electric blade.
The Risen leader used his axe to block the attack, but the Risen was able to block the attack with its axe, but it still went through the Risen leader's axe, but didn't have much energy after that and just left a cut on the Risen's chest.
"Pyroar use Snarl Cut." Chrom said to Pyroar, as he charged at the Risen Leader. "Pyroar!" Pyroar said, as he started to make a snarl sound firing a black sound pulse at the Risen leader. The Risen leader covered one of his ears, and wasn't able to block Chrom's attack. Chrom then slashed across hit's chest, leaving a deep cut. But not killing.
"Copperajah use Play Shield." Simon said to Copperajah. "Copperajah." Copperajah said, as she slammed her trunk into the Risen leader, making it fly into Simon's shield. Then Copperajah made a cloud appear around her and the Risen leader. Then pink hearts and yellow stars appeared out of the cloud, along with a banging sound.
When the smoke cleared, the risen leader dropped to its knees, bruised and broken. "Kiii… Priiii…. Kiii… Shiii… Agh…." the leader said, before breaking apart. Once the leader was dead, the Risen started to break apart and disappeared. "That's the last of them. Gods. I thought it might nev-." Chrom said to everyone, but Robin interrupted him. Chrom, Simon, Look out!" Robin said, as two Risen Assassins appeared behind Chrom and Simon.
Then Chrom and Simon blocked the Risen Assassin's first attack, but they fell to the ground. Then the Risen Assassins raised their swords into the air. "Father, no! Incineroar use Heat Wave!" Marth said to Incineroar, as she, Zacian in her Crown Zacian form, Incineroar, Rillaboom charged at the Risen Assassins. "Rillaboom use Drum Beating, and gets them away from Dad!" Zacian said, as she and Marth pulled out their swords.
"Incineroar." Incineroar said, as he fired a burst of orange wave of heat from his belt, hitting the Risen Assassins, making them stop. "Rilliaboom." Rilliaboom said, as he pulled out his drum, and planted it into the ground. Rilliaboom then played it, making roots pop out of the ground, and slamming into the Risen Assassins, knocking the Risen Assassins to the floor. As the Risen Assassins got up, Marth and Zacian were able to get a clear hit on them, and cut off their heads.
"Thank the gods you're safe!" Marth said to Chrom, as she helped Chrom up, and Zacian helped Simon up. "You called me "Father"." Chrom said to Marth. "And you called me Dad." Simon said to Zacian, as his Crown Zamazenta form disappeared. "Did we? We… Perhaps we might speak privately?" Marth said to everyone. "Perhaps we should, yes." Chrom said, as he led Marth and Zacian to a part of the woods away from everyone, with Simon and the Pokemon following them.
"I don't even know where to begin." Marth said to Chrom and Simon. "We already know you're not "Marth," and "Zacian," though we've nothing better to call you…" Chrom said to Marth and Zacian. "Then let's start with some names." Simon said to Marth and Zacian. "But we'll ask nothing of you that you don't wish to reveal. Whoever you two are, Ylisse owes you a debt beyond repaying." Chrom said to Marth and Zacian.
"Thank you, but… I think we would prefer you two know the truth." Marth said to Chrom and Simon. "Yeah, we've been keeping this secret for long enough." Zacian said to them. "As you wish." Chrom said to them. "Here… Look closely, and all will be made clear." Marth said to Chrom, as she took a couple steps closer to chrom.
Chrom and Simon looked closely into Marth's eyes, and that's when they saw Chrom's family symbol in her left eyes. "That's the Brand of the Exalt…" Chrom said. "In the same spot as…" Simon said, as they realized how Marth is. "Lucina…" Chrom said. "Then that means?" Simon said, as they looked at Zacian. Zacian then powered down, revealing her normal look, and letting Simon see the Dynamax band on her right wrist. "Yeah it's me." Zacian said to Simon, fidgeting with her hair. "Hannah…"Simon said to Zacian.
"You deserved better from me than one sword and a world of troubles." Chrom said to Lucina. "And I should have left more for you then some powers and problems." Simon said to Hannah. "We're sorry." Chrom and Simon said to Lucina and Hannah, making Lucina and Hannah cry a little.
Chrom and Simon reached up a hand, and whipped the tears away. "It's okay, we're here." Simon said to them. "Father." Lucina said, as she hugged Chrom. "Dad." Hannah said, as she hugged Simon. Chrom and Simon, embraced their daughters and the two of them let out their sadness, their Pokemon looking at them with smiles on their faces.
After a bit, they broke the hugs, and took a step away from each other. But none of them knew what to say. "Better, Lucina?" Chrom asked Lucina, breaking the silence. "What about you Hannah?" Simon asked Hannah. "Yes. Father… I'm sorry. It's just all rushed back at once." Lucina said to Chrom. "And it's been a while since we had a moment like that dad." Hannah said to Simon.
"Father…" Chrom said. "Dad…" Simon said. "Should we call you two something else?" Lucina asked then. "No, it's just strange to our ears… I like it." Chrom said to Lucina. "Yeah, we were expecting you to call us that for a few more years. But it sounds nice." Simon said to the girls. "Father! Heh heh…" Lucina said to Chrom, laughing. "You suck a dork Dad." Hannah said to Simon, before laughing. "Hah! Yes, it will take some getting used to!" Chrom said to everyone. "But we will." Simon said to everyone.
"I'm Sorry- Chrom?" a female voice said to Chrom. "But we need to talk, Simon." Another female voice said to Simon. That's when everyone noticed Robin, Harper, Absol and Appletun. "Hmm? Oh, Robin. What is it?" Chrom asked Robin. "Is something wrong?" Simon asked Harper.
"You could say that." Harper said to them. "It's just that… You four are out here alone, and Marth and Zacian are… crying. This is how ill rumors are born. I trust you, Chrom, but is there a reason you, Simon, Marth, Zacian need to be alone?" Robin asked them. "And I trust you Simon, but this is strange." Harper said to Simon.
"Can we tell her, Lucina?" Chrom asked Lucina. "Yeah, Hannah, will it be a problem?" Simon asked Hannah. "Of course." Lucian said to Chrom. "Yeah, they're no problem." Hannah said to Simon. "Lucina?!" Robin asked. "Hannah?!" Harper asked.
"Robin, Harper, this is going to come as a shock…" Chrom said to them, but Simon interrupted him. "And it's confusing." Simon said to them. "But… I'll just say it: these are our daughters." Chrom said to them. "What?! Have you gone mad?!" Robin said to Chrom. "Simon, you have to have a better reason or excuse than that!" Harper said to Simon.
"It's true, Robin and Harper. Please, look closely. Prove it with your own eyes by looking into mine." Lucina said to Robin and Harper. The two looked closely into Lucina's eyes, and saw the Brand. "Ah! You have the Brand!" Robin said to Lucina. "The same Brand carried by all House Ylisse's bloodline." Chrom said to Robin.
"But to have the Brand in your eye… You have to be Lucina." Harper said to Lucina. "And if that's true. Then you must really be Hannah." Harper said to Hannah. "High mom." Hannah said to Harper. "So, is everything cleared?" Simon asked everyone. "No, no I can't say it is. If this is Lucina and Hannah, what has befallen our babies back at the palace?" Robin asked everyone, getting worried.
"Nothing. They're fine." Chrom said to Robin. "Your babies are right where you left them, and perfectly safe. We are them from another time. From a time that is yet to be." Lucina said to Robin. "You mean... The future?" Robin asked Lucina. "Yes, more than 10 years hence." Lucina said to Robin. "More accurately, 15 years from this year." Hannah said to everyone.
"After history takes a dark and most destructive turn…" Lucina said to Robin. "To make a long story short, the Risen has overrun our lands, killing a lot of our people. Before we left for this time, the castle was overrun with Risen, and we were losing badly." Hannah said to everyone, as Lissa and Blissey showed up.
"But why? What happens in the future?!" Robin asked Lucina and Hannah. "The fell dragon, Grima, is resurrected. His roar is a death knell for man, a scream that silences all hope…" Lucina said to everyone. "We fought hard against him, but… It wasn't enough." Hannah said to everyone. "Death everywhere…" Lucina said.
"Chrom?... Our whole company? All of us? Dead?!" Robin asked Lucina. "Yes." Lucina said to Robin. "I… I don't know what to say." Robin said to everyone. "How about this? This is terrible." Harper said to everyone.
"A tale that beggars belief, and yet the truth of it stands before us. Lucina carries Falchion, my same sword. And the same sword the first exalt used to defeat Grima long ago. And Hannah Has a Dynamax bands. The same one Simon has." Chrom said to everyone.
"Your blade and mine are one, Father." Lucina said to Chrom. "And I got this Dynamax bad from you dad." Hannah said to Simon. "The sword and power… it was all we had left of you two." Lucina said to Chrom and Simon. "There is only one Falchion Robin. I believe her." Chrom said to Robin. "And Hannah's has a Dynamax band. Only we have those. So I believe her." Simon said to Harper.
"Yeah, and so do I! I might have missed a lot, but I believe her. Heck I saw Lucina COME from the future! She fell right out of the sky! I've never seen anything like it…" Lissa said to everyone.
"Thank you, Aunt Lissa. Naga, the divine dragon, feared mankind would face Grima again. In preparation for that day, she devised a ritual. It allows one to return to the past and alter events already written. We made the journey together with others, but… we became separated." Lucina said to everyone. "Yeah, having to face Risen in the portal caused us to get scattered, Lucina was the only one of us that landed in the targeted location. The rest of us were sent to Arceus knews where." Hannah said to everyone.
"Have you found any of them?" Harper asked Lucina and hannah. "We spent the last two years looking around. But no luck." Lucina said to Harper. "Don't worry, Lucina. If they're out there, we'll find 'em!" Lissa said to Lucina. "Thanks Aunt Lissa." Hannah said to Lissa, as she and Lucina faced Lissa.
Then Lucina and Hannah turned to Robin and Harper, and again everyone was quiet. "My daughter…" Robin said. "Yes, Robin. Your daughter." Lucina said to Robin. "It was that long ago when they were sleeping in our arms. Now look at them." Harper said to Robin. "Mom, why do you have to say such embarrassing things?" Hannah asked Harper.
"But look at you two. You're everything we hoped for." Harper said to Hannah and Lucina. "You both have grown into such strong and beautiful women. Chrom and I are truly blessed. As are Simon and Harper." Robin said to Lucina and Hannah. "Uh! You're both just so embarrassing. But thank you master." Hannah said to Robin. "Master?" Robin asked Hannah. "Yes. I was your student for a long time, I learned Sword skills from Lon'qu, but you taught me everything else." Hannah said to Robin.
"And I must thank you too… milady." Lucina said to Robin. "Will you not call me Mother? Like Hannah calls Harper Mom?" Robin asked Lucina. "I… I thought you might mind." Lucina said to Robin. "Of course not! I love you with all my heart!" Robin said to Lucina, making Lucina cry a little. "Oh, Mother…" Lucina said to Robin, before the two walked to each other, and hugged.
"You are the finest daughter a woman could hope for, Lucina." Robin said to Lucina. "Mother… Oh, I've missed you more than you'll ever know…" Lucina said to Robin. Then Chrom and their Pokemon joined the family hug, making Hannah tear up a little.
"You okay?" Harper asked Hannah. "Yeah… Yeah. It's just. It's been a while since I've seen Lucina like this." Hannah said to Harper, crying a little. "Do you want a family hug as well?" Harper asked Hannah. "You know me too well mom." Hannah said to Harper. "Well I am your mother." Harper said to Hannah, as she, Simon, and their pokemon gave Hannah a family hug.
