AN: Heyyy! Here's me coming up with a new story for my favourite OTP hehe. This is situating around Boruto's AU and let say Hinata6 has really inspired me to write something with Sasuke and Hinata regarding that particular AU where all of them are mature adults. I do feel like in an event where Sasuke and Hinata really had a chance to be remotely close to each other, having a synthetic child created by Orochimaru using both their DNA would be the only chance... or is it? That's how i feel of course hehe.
I feel like I do want to make this story something on a lighter note, possibly having the duo to co-parent a child that isn't normal like how everyone else are. The child would be similar to Mitsuki, being synthetically created. I do wish that some chapters down the road, maybe Hinata and Sasuke will fall for each other? But i also do not want to disregard their relationship with their other half... OH GOD.
I will definitely write for Sasuke and Hinata to fall for each other but getting together at the end IS STILL NOT CONFIRMED. I want to put it out first just in case some of the readers out there do prefer happy endings and I do not want to keep empty promises :( I will include some smut and POSSIBLY lemon in the future chapters because I do want to practice writing that genre hehe v.
But all in all, i really hope you guys will like this too! Do read up on my other story, Hireath! Also do review and let me know about it hhaha

"Sui-nii."
Suigetsu spun the wheeler chair around to face the boy. "Yes?"
"Do you have time to train today?" A pair of black orbs stared back at him.
Suigetsu knew in an instant that this newly cloned Mitsuki that Orochimaru had created was different from the rest. The usual Mitsuki possessed tousled white hair with a tint of blue and golden eyes but for this particular clone was nowhere near looking like the usual. Instead, he had a simple pair of black coloured eyes, and straight long black hair reaching slightly passed his shoulder blades.
"I've some stuff on hand." He replied with a smile. "Why don't you look for Jugo to train? I'm sure he's in the training room somewhere."
Dropping himself onto the ground, the young clone who was wearing onto a blue oversized long trumpet sleeve top and a baggy pants groaned softly and hugged his knee. "I've checked, he isn't there. Nobody's at the hideout."
"Mitsuki, why don't you – "
"Ne, Sui-nii. Is my name really Mitsuki?" The clone questioned, eyes filled with curiosity as she stared at the water natured male.
Ever since the awakening of this clone about half a year ago, Orochimaru had manifested this special one differently as compared to the rest. The other two Mitsukis that he had created undergone attempts in hope that they would awaken their inner sage chakra and thirst for independence. For Third Mitsuki, he was allowed freely to roam around the hideout without any tough gruelling training imposed onto him. Orochimaru expressed for Third Mitsuki to figure the need for self-independence and identity searching by himself, without power and skills.
Suigetsu knew that the bare minimum was at least requiring one form of DNA to recreate a synthetic human being. This third Mitsuki clearly showed no resemblance to Orochimaru, making him suspected that the sanin must had used someone else's DNA instead.
But who was it that Orochimaru would be interested in, and why? Or what was the exact intention of creating such a powerless child with seemingly almost no goal, no aspect and majority of the time spent around trying to master taijutsu.
Karin mentioned that she could feel the flow of this third Mitsuki's chakra, stating that it brought back some form of familiarity and how it was relatively strong and clear. Orochimaru seemingly had no intention to teach the new clone about chakra usage, and simply just leaving him to train himself with the people he wanted to as he spent his time in the hideout.
"Why would you ask?" Suigetsu questioned, eyes lazily softened. "Orochimaru-sama gave you that."
"I know." His mini fingers started drawing against the cold ground. "But I saw on your computer the other day that there are other two Mitsukis."
The shark liked male widened his eyes. "You –"
"You left the computer on, Sui-nii." Third Mitsuki chuckled softly. "Orochimaru told me that I am a synthetic human being created by him but I thought I can have a different name."
"A different name?" Sugeitsu lifted his brow a little.
The young boy nodded. "It seems a little odd for three human to have the same name, don't you think?"
A frown marred Suigetsu's face. "Still, it's not right to peep into the data I've on the computer. It's rude to intrude too."
"But you – "
"Mitsuki." The door opened to reveal a smiling white skinned male. He stepped into the cold room and closed the door behind him as he stared at the newest creation of his.
"Orochimaru!" The boy beamed.
"You're thinking of a new name?" The sanin questioned. "Why the sudden thought?"
"I read that there are other two Mitsuki outside. Can I meet them some day? I don't think I want to be confused with them, so can I also have a new name?"
The sanin knelt down to the boy's level and patted his head. "What name do you like then?"
"Um…" Third Mitsuki tapped his chin as he gave the question a thought. "I've no idea."
The clone was starting to question, something the snake sanin had been awaiting for. He caught sight of the questioning gaze Sugietsu was shooting him, but he chose not to address it. It was clear that all his followers had questions regarding the latest clone he had created, especially on how different he looked and how he wasn't going through the usual attempts the other two clones did.
But this was different. It wasn't his child. Neither did he expect that the fusion of DNAs would turn out to be a success. "Any word you like?" He asked.
"Heh," Suigetsu chuckled. "A parent should give his child the name."
"I'm not your parent, Mitsuki." He said briefly before standing up. "You can take your time to choose your name."
Suigetsu narrowed his eyes as he scrutinized the sanin. He could at least confirm his theory that the clone did not possess Orochimaru's DNA. He just got to figure who it was.
"Parent?" Third Mitsuki tilted his head in curiosity. "Then who is my… parent? Should he be giving me my name?"
"Ah…" Suigetsu knew the questioning wasn't going to stop anytime soon. "Usually yes. But you can choose your name too. Orochimaru had given you the permission to have a new name."
Thirs Mitsuki averted his gaze towards the back of his creator who was currently working onto chemicals that he had always seen around. His brain was starting to hurt a little from the increased brain activity but curiosity took over him. Who was his parent then? Why wasn't his parent present during the time of his creation?
"I'll wait for my parent to give me." He muttered softly.

Hinata folded her arms as she listened to her son complaining about how her husband had always been absent, and not keeping his promises. She could not deny it, because it was all true but she understood the hardship of being the Hokage. He had the entire village to protect and what she could do best for Naruto, her beloved husband was to ensure that their home would still be intact and well taken care of every single time he return home from work.
"He promised to be home tonight! He obviously isn't! Kaa-chan why are you still being so nice to cook his share?" Boruto shouted, eyes filled with anger as he slammed his hand onto the table.
Hinata decided to let this moment of disrespect off, not wanting to further add onto the already burning anger her son was having. She sighed, dropped her folded arms and stood up slowly. "Boruto… your dad is coming home. Just not as early as you want. He's protecting Konoha and that's his job."
"He's a great protector of the villager, but definitely not towards his family." The bright haired boy argued. "What's the point in that then? He's still a dumbass who can't be there for his family!"
"Boruto!" Hinata raised her voice sternly, causing the boy to press his lips. She knew how anger could consume someone to the point they said things they never wanted to. But anger always spoke the truth, and if that was how her son had been thinking about his father, then this is a problem to settle.
"Isn't it true, kaa-chan?" He dropped himself down to the chair and sighed. "Why can't he ever be back?"
Hinata smiled sadly. "Your father is the hero of the village, Boruto."
"Is the village more important than his family then?" He muttered, not wanting to further upset his mother. "If that's the case, I rather that man not be a Hokage."
"That's your father dreams – "
Boruto could feel the anger rising within him again. Dreams? Then what about his? "And he's ruining this family!" Finishing his words, he stood up quickly, kicking the chair back with full intention to exit the house he was in. He needed a breather, maybe he could find Sarada to talk to. Or Mitsuki, or anyone.
"Boruto!" Hinata chased the boy down the hall but by the time she had reached the doors, he had already leaped off. "Be back early please!" She shouted, in hope that her son could catch it.
Being a parent had always been a difficult task. She was lucky that Himawari had been an understanding child, much different as comparing to her brother who seemed to have taken the character of their father. She sighed, holding onto the door as she watched the leaping figure from roofs to roofs, and eventually disappeared.
She had made a promise with Naruto that she would handle the home they had, and Naruto would handle the home everyone else had. She was going to keep the promise, no matter how tough or how gruelling it would be.

Third Mitsuki hid behind the walls as he listened to the conversation between Orochimaru and an older male donned in a black cloak. He darted his vision towards his company, realizing how there were also two females that was about his age, and one adult male with bright yellow hair.
Were they what they call this, a family? Were the adults the parent of the two younger female?
"Shin took Sakura along with him. Do you have any idea where would he be?" Sasuke questioned, tone was unrelenting.
The long dark haired boy took notice of the crest behind one of the female's back, seemingly bringing in a wave of nostalgia and curiosity. For some reason, something within him wanted to know more about the crest, the symbol and the unexpected yearn within him that he had never felt before.
He hid himself a little more when the female glasses female spun herself around, and for a moment when their eyes made contact, Third Mitsuki felt something different. An odd feeling that was ineffable. He moved himself completely to stay hidden from their views as he continued to listen to their conversation.
Shin… who was it that they were seeking? Why was the symbol giving him such intense new feelings?
"Sakura may be dead by the time you reach her." Orochimaru said politely.
Sasuke almost scoffed. "She's not a weak woman. She probably might have handled him by the time we reach there."
Third Mitsuki continued to peek at the four man team's interaction, eyes darting between the two dark colored hair stranger. He needed to find out.
"Let's not waste time, Sasuke." Naruto said, making his way towards where Third Mitsuki was hiding, causing him to panic.
He quickly rushed towards the giant pot of plant and hid behind it, full of hope and prayers that nobody would notice him. Perhaps it was the adrenaline and the priority of wanting to seek for a particular… Shin, that made none of them notice his presence as they proceeded rapidly out of Orochimaru's hideout, leaving behind a confused Third Mitsuki.
He stepped out, staring at the direction where they all had left with questions filling his head.
"You heard us." Orochimaru's voice travelled from the room they were previously in, causing him to jump a little.
He lowered his head and made his presence clear to the sanin, feeling slightly regretful that he had intruded privacy once again. Something Suigetsu had been telling him not to. "I'm sorry." He muttered.
"What's in your head, Mitsuki?"
His head lifted as his eyes glinted. "Who's the girl with the symbol at her back?"
Raspy voice echoed the room. "That's the child of Sasuke-kun's. The one who was wearing black. What caught your interest?"
The white and red fan flashed across his mind. "She… I saw the symbol at the back of her shirt and I got this odd feeling in me. What is that symbol?"
"What are you feeling, Mitsuki?"
The young boy pressed his lips and averted his gaze towards the ceiling. It wasn't something he knew, for it was so foreign. Yet that something was forcing him to chase after the person, and chase after that symbol. "I don't know. But I want to know where that symbol comes from, or what is it."
"Hm.." Orochimaru nodded with a small smile on his face. He walked towards the younger boy and rested his hand onto his shoulder. "You can find out if you want. You're old enough to do so."
"Are you going to come with me?"
"No." The sanin deadpanned. "Mitsuki, you're good enough to head out and find out whatever is bothering you. You can stay, if you aren't ready to step out of his hideout."
Deciding to quench his curiosity, he made a decision to follow the gang. He nodded, allowing a big smile to appear on his face. "Thank you, Orochimaru! I will be back soon!"
"Ah." He smirked, watching the young boy finally found his reason to leave the hideout.
Throughout the entire six months, the boy had never once questioned or requested to head out, to explore and to see the world. All he did was to stay within the walls of his hideout and trained with whoever he crossed path with. Orochimaru knew the capability of this Mitsuki he had created, and how far he could go if he was given the proper training.
And the training ought to come from a good source, for if he was to fall onto a devil's hand, the shinobi world might be in grave's danger.

Sasuke wasn't fully supporting on the idea of allowing all the clones to return back to Konoha's orphanage, to be under Kabuto's care but if the Hokage felt that it was the right thing to do, Sasuke should trust his pal. He glanced over towards all the miniature clone of Shin Uchiha, wondering would Kabuto have trouble taking care of every single one of them.
"Are you really my father?" Sarada questioned, hands brought to her chest and she nervously fiddled with her fingers.
Sakura watched her daughter, feeling a sense of guilt for not making things clear with regards to Sasuke being an absent father and the mission he was always on. Her eyes softened heavily as she looked towards her husband.
Sasuke knelt down to Sarada's level and smiled, replying confidently. "Yes. You're the proof of the bond between your mother and I."
To which his words brought instant tears to Sarada's eyes. He never really knew how to be a great parent, especially from all the time that he had been away. He poured all the responsibility on Sakura to look after his home, something he wasn't exactly proud of. Maybe he should return to Konoha and spend some time with them, even at least for just a single day in a month.
"Let's go home then." Naruto said, lightening up the mood with Chocho cheering at the corner.
"Hurry! I am so hungry I could possibly eat a cow!" Chocho whined, hands rubbing her stomach as she stood a little closer towards Sasuke. "Ne Sarada's otou-san, would you join us to have dinner together?"
"Chocho, this is family time!" Sarada argued, hands resting on her hip.
The tanned female stuck her tongue out. Who wouldn't want to have food with a handsome looking man anyways? "Fine. I will go and look for Mitsuki then."
"Oh? Do you have a thing for Mitsuki?" Sarada smirked, cocking her brows cheekily.
Sasuke internally chuckled at the conversation between the girls, wondering did he always miss out the childhood fun when he was young. Perhaps Sakura and the rest spoke about him this way too, when they were genin. He lifted he brows a little when at the corner he felt a sense of familiar presence around the hideout, but chose not to address it and assuming that it must be coming from all of Shin's miniature clones. Perhaps it was the presence of a Sharingan, or anything similar.
"But do you think Orochimaru is Mitsuki's father or mother?" Chocho questioned as they followed the adults, preparing to exit the hideout to return back to Konoha.
"His voice is rather masculine… but his face is very feminine." Sarada turned to her father and quizzed. "Tou-san, do you think Orochimaru is a mother or a father?"
Naruto almost laughed when he heard the question being probed. "It's a question I do ask myself sometimes."
"He was once a female, do you remember?" Sakura shivered at the thought of the first encounter she had with the snake liked human during their first Chunin exams.
"So he can switch his genders?" Chocho lifted her brows in curiosity. "Is that some jutsu?"
"That's his preference." Sasuke managed, almost rolling his eyes at the amount of questions being poured onto the adults. He turned to face his wife, a small smile adorning his face as he shook his head a little.
Neither of them could figure the identity of Orochimaru back then anyways. And despite him living with him for a good two years, took him at least half a year to figure that he switched bodies to obtain immortality and power the bodies held.
He halted at the exit of Shin's hideout, feeling as if someone was observing at them. He turned around, staring straight into the dark abyss and waited for a few seconds. Light footsteps could be heard running and what appeared was a few of Shin's clones. He continued looking into the darkness, for once wishing he had the byakugan .
There was an odd feeling. He narrowed his eyes, watching as all the miniature clones ran passed him towards the exit and followed Naruto and Sakura. Yet, even with the last clone exiting the hideout, he still felt some sense of being observed.
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura shouted.
He exhaled, deciding to ignore the feeling. "Coming." He said and exited the hideout.
