AN: Finally, the revelation! hmm... I'm not sure about the pace of this story, what do you guys think? Is it too rush? Initially I was intending to keep Hinata in the dark about her new son, and probably some chapters down the road she will find out herself. BUT THEN AGAIN, I do want Sasuke and Hinata to co-parent together as Mum and Dad so... I dropped the idea and just proceed with the reveal hehe.

Do you guys like the pace? Let me know and do review! Any ideas are welcome too hehe

"Ah, why would she even pass out?" Ino grunted, hands carrying onto a bouquet of flowers she personally wrapped with all of Sakura's favourite.

The lobby of the hospital was filled with people as usual and despite the crowd, the strong smell of antiseptic, alcohol and medicine instantly filled their nostrils, reminding of the days where the war still persisted. Ino never really liked the hospital, which was the reason why she decided to drop being a professional medic kunoichi as a full time. It was a place that constantly wrapped her entire body and mind with guilt, sadness and disappointment whenever she could not save a life.

As they entered the fifth level of the hospital where Sakura was admitted into, Ino felt like she was ready to give her a scolding if the reason was to be ridiculous. "Hinata, do you think she over works herself?"

"Possibly." The lady said. "She's a workaholic on days." But Hinata thought she might knew the real reason as to why the top medic of Konoha would pass out. Most likely related to the new son of Sasuke which Naruto had told her about yesterday.

She just thought she should not reveal too much about it out of respect, only till Sakura was to tell them herself.

Ino rolled her eyes. "I'm going to scold her for that. You need to aid me in this, okay?"

"Maybe's Sakura-san is sick. I wonder how is Sarada doing alone at home then."

Ino knocked on the door and entered the room. The white walls and simple designed of the hospital room made everything effused a feeling of coldness and dullness, something almost similar to death. Another reason as to why Ino had decided not to work in a hospital.

"Sakura." Ino called, looking towards the female who had her back facing them. She instantly took the control of the air condition and lowered the temperature. "Don't you find it's too cold?"

The pink head turned around slowly, eyes wearily met the blonde as a tired smile plastered on her face. "Ino, you're… oh, Hinata, you've come too." Pushing herself up with her arm, she adjusted the pillow vertically against the bed frame and rested her back on it.

"Sakura, we've heard that you passed out. Are you feeling okay?" Placing the small basket of fruits on the table, Hinata pulled one of the banana out of its bunch and handled it to her.

Are you…" A cheeky smile appeared on Ino's face as she lifted her brow a little. "Expecting again?"Ino exclaimed, eyes lit up brightly. "Sasuke-kun just returned recently and wow, you guys are really cherishing the time you two have, huh?"

Hinata giggled along and slightly hit Ino's arm for the teasing she was giving. "Is he deciding to stay in Konoha more often now?"

"Not really…" Sakura retreated her legs back and hugged her knees. "I'm not pregnant either, Ino. Though I wish I am." She muttered the last line to herself.

"Oh? Then what happened? Did you overwork yourself again?" Ino emphasized and rested her hands on her hip, as if getting ready to start her scolding session.

Sakura averted her gaze towards the female Hyuga for a brief moment, mind rewinding back to the night before where her husband had told her about a particular news that lead her here. She narrowed her eyes inwardly, wondering had the news gotten to Hinata, but assumed it did not since there wasn't exactly any questioning being poured onto her yet.

After sending her husband home when he visited in the morning, with the kid along, she thought she could take the time to herself to try her best to comprehend about the whole appearance of her husband sharing a new kid with her friend. And it wasn't like they intentionally created it either, Sasuke and Hinata had no choice in this.

Maybe she should destroy Orochimaru hideout for this creation. Yet, somewhere in her felt that the only right thing she could do was to accept the child into her life as normally as possible. She may not be able to understand the idea of a missing father or mother, but she could tell that all kids would prefer to at least stay with their parent.

How could she send him back to Sound?

"Must be." She lied, laughing uneasily. "I should really stop working so much."

Ino begun her scolding session, but none of the words went into Sakura's head as most of the time she spent secretly glancing over towards the blue head. How would things be? How would Hinata react to such piece of news? Would their kids be open to having a new sibling?

And if the kid was to stay in Konoha, Sakura knew in an instant he would not be staying with her but instead, with his own biological mother. Would Sasuke be visitng Hinata as often then? As much as they were good friends, Sakura still did not find the idea of co-parenting quite sit right for her. Yet, there was no way she could allow her feelings made such selfish decision.

A child needed his parents. And as a mother herself, she knew there was only one right way to handle the entire situation.

"Hinata." Sakura lifted her head slightly. "Has Naruto talked to you about… anything?"

"Anything?" She blinked, before looking over to Ino quickly and returned her attention to the pink head. "He did." She admitted, smiling as she placed her hand over hers. "Is that the reason to why you pass out?"

Sakura almost frowned in confusion. "Are you… not surprise?"

"I mean." She shrugged, chuckling a little. "It is hard to accept without a doubt, so I'm not surprise that you've fainted."

Sakura held her tongue back. No doubt it must had been easier for Hinata to accept the news. It wasn't her spouse who had a new kid anyways, it was her. "Yea." She bit her lower lip and muttered. "It is hard."

"What are you guys talking about?" Ino questioned, face filled with confusion.

Hinata simply looked towards Sakura, knowing that she should not be the one spilling the news. So she kept mum, smiling lightly as she waited to see if the pink head wanted to reveal.

"It's about Sasuke-kun." Sakura sighed, puffing her cheeks a little as she knitted her brows.

Ino cocked her brows. She could have come out with a million possibility with just that simple line but she chose not to. "What about him?

"Ino, let's keep it within here first as for now. I've no idea how does Sasuke-kun or Naruto wants to handle the entire situation so it's best to not say anything till they find a solution." Sakura suggested, inhaling a little as she felt a load on her chest. "He came back yesterday with a child."

"Is he escorting – " Ino paused. "Wait, does he have another kid outside? Is he cheating on you?"

"It's not exactly cheating, and I don't think it is either." Sakura shrugged.

"How is it not cheating if he has another kid with another woman out there? Isn't he busy travelling between dimensions?" Ino was fuming. Sakura had been constantly waiting at home for her husband and yet if this was what she was rewarded with, Ino knew she had to hunt that man down.

A small smile lit Sakura's face up as she noticed the worry of her best friend. "Listen to me, Ino. It's not cheating at all, in fact. Orochimaru created this synthetic human similar to Mitsuki, just that this time instead of his own DNA, he cultured both Sasuke-kun's and Hinata's."

"Hinata's?" Ino gawked.

"W-What?"

.::.

Hinata could feel her hand shaking as she continued washing the dishes. She quickly took in a few deep breath, calming herself down and not really keen in allowing her true emotions to spill in front of her husband as she heard the door opened.

Back at the hospital room where Sakura was staying was a mess when the information was revealed. Hinata had absolutely no clue about the existence of the child, and the fact that she had actually met him at the market before to what Sakura had said, she just found the entire situation rather appalling. Bidding her goodbyes rapidly and nervously, she made her way to the Hokage's tower through the roofs, something she had not done for the longest time possible. Yet, as she stood outside her husband's office, she held herself back from knocking. She should not have been disturbing him during work.

"Hinata." Naruto greeted with a soft grunt. "You're still awake?"

"A-Ah, yes. I am almost done cleaning up." She muttered with a smile. "How's your work?"

"Same old." He chuckled, lifting his hand to his neck and massaged it a little. "Sorry, I missed dinner again."

The patience in her had been abundance since young but for the first time, she felt like it was running out. "It's okay."

"I'm going to have a shower first okay? You can have a rest, I will heat up the food myself." Naruto said, leaving the kitchen but was stopped by his wife's words.

"Naruto-kun." She called, wiping her hand with the towel. "I… I visited Sakura-san a-at the hospital." She muttered, eyes still locked onto her husband, awaiting for him to say something she knew he must had known.

"Ah, how is she?" Naruto questioned, smiling a little but his facial expression instantly took a change. "Oh wait, did she… was it because of – "

"Was that what you're trying to tell me y-yesterday?" Her stuttering had returned.

Naruto could notice the shakiness in her voice, and how it would only appear whenever she was upset, surprise, angry or disappointed. He knew which particular emotion was eating her up now. "Hinata… Did Sakura told you about it?"

She nodded slowly, biting her lip. "Is it true? Did Sakura-san misunderstood anything? There could have been s-some messed up. I mean, it's impossible right? How can it b-be?" She still could not believe it.

Naruto bit his lips a little when he felt the emotions running through his wife. "Hinata, it's okay. It's overwhelming. I was going to tell you today." He mumbled, unsure. "I told Sasuke I will tell you eventually, and I will."

The silence between them was deafening as they could vividly feel the emotions consuming the air. Hinata pressed her lips and rested her shaking hands against the counter. What was she going to do about the entire situation? She inhaled a few times, loud enough for her husband to hear.

"Hinata, are you okay?" Naruto questioned, tone filled with worry. "I'm sorry, I didn't know how to spill it to you. I want to tell you personally."

She brought her hands up to her chest and pressed against it, in hope to calm the burning desire to pass out from the intense increased in her heart rate. So it was true, despite throughout the entire afternoon and evening she was hoping there could be some form of miscommunication. Now that it was real, she was absolutely clueless as to how she was going to handle a new child.

"It's okay." Hinata breathed out a sigh as she assured. "Are they g-going to stay in Konoha? Are they still h-here?"

"Shikamaru and I have discussed. We will await for Orochimaru's opinion about having his clone in Konoha. If he's alright with it, and… will you be okay if Mitsuki stay here?"

"S-Stay?" She blinked a little before sighing and leaned against the kitchen counter, causing Naruto to walk up towards her. "He's my…. Son. Right?" She managed.

"It doesn't sit right." Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his forehead against her shoulder. "It just doesn't."

"Did Sasuke-kun mention why Orochimaru created the clone?" Hinata questioned, returning the hug and gently stroking her husband's back.

"He took the kid along with him back to the sound, they will most likely return tomorrow and… I guess you kinda did me a favour by finding this out yourself." He pulled away with a tired smile. "I was still worried what do I have to tell Sasuke about not being able to tell you again. I'm sorry, Hinata. I kinda want to tell you personally but – "

"It's fine." She lifted her hand and placed it against his cheeks. "I don't disregard how crazy this all must have been for you, and for every one of us."

"Do you want to meet them tomorrow?"

She hesitated a little. "Tomorrow? Yea… I guess. Mitsuki s-seems like a really nice kid. I've met him in the market p-previously before, just two days ago."

"Oh… How did you know it was him?" For some reason, he was afraid of his entire family dynamics if Mitsuki was to stay.

"Sakura told me about it. I was at the market with her. We didn't manage to talk that much." Finishing her sentence, she ended it with a sigh. "Naruto-kun, will you be okay?"

"That question should be on you." He chuckled softly. "You just got a new son."

"But your wife just got a new son, too." She returned the question. "It does sound ridiculous. What are you going to tell the village?"

"Shikamaru mentioned that we should keep it a low profile. Sasuke told us that Mitsuki has both of your bloodlines, so it's possible if the news leaked there bound to be people coming for him."

Hinata pressed her lips, feeling the ache for the child. "We have to keep from everyone that he's our child?"

"We thought about it." Naruto sighed, pulling away from his wife and went to grab a empty glass. "I think it's best for us to keep your identity as his mother hidden. Will that be alright for you?"

She wasn't sure how she should be feeling. The idea of how she was stripped away from her new son, even though she did not birth him still irked her a little. "What about Sasuke-kun's identity?"

"He will take the role as the father." Naruto said, turning on the tap to fill the glass with water. "We are intending to try to keep this low profile as possible. Try not to let the villagers know, or the kids."

"Ino-san… knows about it." Hinata muttered with worry. "She was there when Sakura told it to me."

"It's okay that the Jounins know. I will gather the rest and tell them about this. But Hinata, will you be okay with this?" He sipped down his water and placed it into the sink.

What could she possibly say? She nodded her head. "Yea… I supposed. Is he going to stay in Konoha?"

"He will, if he wants to. He can stay with us, I think that's the best arrangement." Naruto said, suppressed a sigh from escaping his lips. He still did not find it comfortable. "Mitsuki, I can tell is a great kid. I'm sure Boruto knows about Mitsuki being a clone too, and being Sarada's brother. So let's keep it that way."

"Hai." Hinata agreed.

.::.

Hinata settled the tea down slowly. She did not want her shaking hands to spill it all over the table of the meeting room within the Hokage's tower. She remembered the first thing she woke up in the morning, she had to ensure that she wasn't dreaming. She dashed out of the room without kissing her husband the usual way and checked the surrounding.

The dishes was washed, and it was placed exactly as how she had placed it. It could still be a dream. She prepared breakfast normally, and served the kids. Till her husband made his way to the dining table lazily and reminded her quietly that indeed, after her fainting episode that she had agreed to meet her new son.

She sent the kids to school and followed her husband to his working office, mind in a dazed and filled questions she thought she might want to ask. She was kindly directed to the meeting room on the same level and was served with her favourite jasmine green tea, earning a smile in her face realizing how her husband still remembered.

Her legs were shaking a little, perhaps out of nervousness or impatience, but she could not determine which. She was nervous most of the time in her life, but the feeling wasn't exactly the same. Naruto had come in to check on her from time to time, probably knowing how stressed up she was. She appreciated the small little gestures despite his busy morning, and those things indeed eased her a little.

She just wasn't sure what to say, or how to react, or what was the plan with the kid. Was he going to be in Konoha? Was he going to stay with her or with Sakura? How would parenting be like if she had to take on the role, would Boruto and Himawari be able to accept?

Realizing she was never going to get her answers just by herself, she decided to stop whacking her brains over it. She should just relax herself, enjoy the fact that Boruto was in school, Himawari was in the good hands' of her sister and her father and she could have this morning on an easier note with tea in her hand and –

A knock on the door caused her to stiffen.

It slowly opened, and when a young little boy entered the room with uncertainty as his eyes darted around till it finally laid upon hers, she thought she felt something familiar. Something almost like the first time she met Boruto and Himawari. That sense of being the mother.

She studied the boy a little more, as he stood there looking at her quietly as if allowing her to continue her observation. Her eyes briefly met with the Uchiha when he entered the room, but it did not occur to her that she had to greet because her mind was completely filled by this boy.

When the kid smile, it felt like for a split second everything stopped, and she wanted to protect the kid the same way she would do to the other two of her children.

"Kaa-chan?" The kid muttered. "Oh… I saw you at the market yesterday."

And it brought an instant familiar feeling when she heard the greeting, as if she had known him for the longest time possible. Yet, her words still found it hard to leave her throat. "Y-Yea, you d-did."

Sasuke placed his hand on the kid's head and gave his hair a light ruffle. He could tell that the female was nervous. "He's Mitsuki."

Third Mitsuki lifted his hand and waved a little, as if he was afraid that he would make a mistake for every action he did. "Did kaa-chan wait for us for long? I'm sorry me and tou-san took a while."

There was some sort of resemblance she could see in the kid's features. How his long hair swayed in the exact manner as someone she used to see often back in the days. Hinata smiled lightly, shaking her head. "Did you have a race with your father over here again?"
