AN: Sorry it took a little longer for the duo to have direct interactions but here it is now! Im really curious on how co-parenting will work out hehe. I think it's true that it's hard not to include cheating, or anyone being the bad party for Hinata and Sasuke to be together because after all, both of them are married. I WILL TRY MY BEST! Cheating... hmmm, maybe not but... I'm not sure either! We will see how the story flows haha!

And also regarding will Sasuke stay in Konoha a little more often, I'm still a little torn. Ah, such an unplanned story hahah, don't mind me guys :( Anyways I hope you guys will enjoy this and do reviews hehe

Hinata took a bite of the French fries they had ordered. She remembered she only visited the fast food restaurant once in her entire life time, ever since their opening after the war. It was mainly to treat her children to some junk food and she regretted minimally for introducing what was called, the heaven's food for children. They never once stopped craving for it, and she disliked how unhealthy these burgers and soft drinks were for the kids.

It was nearing afternoon and she could feel the summer's heat taking a toll on her. She mentally thanked herself for deciding to cut her hair short. Sitting in the air-conditioned restaurant indeed made her felt a moment of bliss, but nothing could fully relax her from having a new son.

She placed her elbow on the table and rested her cheek on her palm, watching the child enjoying the unhealthy junk and it brought a smile to her face. She might need to tell him some day that junk food ain't good for the body.

Third Mitsuki stopped his chewing and returned the gaze his mother had been giving him. A small smile lit up his handsome face as he pushed his burger to her. "Kaa-chan, do you want some?"

She froze a little when she heard his son addressing her in public. She needed to let him know soon about the arrangement they all had agreed on.

"It's okay. Do you like burgers?" She asked softly.

Third Mitsuki chimed. "It's my first time eating it and it's really nice! Does otou-san and kaa-chan eat here often too?"

Right, there need to be a day where explanation would be required for the child regarding how his parent's relationship ain't like the normal. Hinata turned to face the Uchiha before smiling a little. She had always been an acquaintance to him, a friend she could call and established. He was someone great, too great and Hinata thought she should never ever thank him enough for all the things he had done for Naruto's sake.

And yet, the jump from being a friend to co-parenting together just did not sit right for her. She did not know the habit of Sasuke Uchiha, or how was he like as a parent other than the fact that he was away most of Sarada's childhood. She could understand why, the way she could understand her husband for not returning home for dinner most of the days.

Co-parenting… how was things going to work out then? Was he even going to take care of this new kid together with her, or was he going to leave him to her the same way he did to Sakura?

Returning her attention back to her son, she shook her head. "Not really. But your brother Boruto and your sister Sarada visits here often."

"Boruto?" He tilted his head. "I haven't met him properly yet. Is he your son too, otou-san?"

Sasuke placed the cup of tea down and wondered for a moment why don't fast food restaurant serve brewed tea and not just teabag kind of a tea. "No. He's the Hokage's son. Your mother's son. The Hokage is the person we met yesterday, he's the leader of the village, just like Orochimaru."

Finishing his words, he looked towards the female. She let out a soft chuckle and mouthed to him about needing a talk regarding their relationship with their son. He agreed, it was indeed complicated even for a normal kid but Third Mitsuki was someone who lived in the hideout for all his life without a single form of parental education at all.

"I was asking otou-san for a name." Third Mitsuki placed his burger down and wiped his mouth with the tissue. "He said I should wait for kaa-chan to give it to me together."

"Isn't your name Mitsuki?" Hinata questioned.

"That's a clone name Orochimaru gave it to me. I thought I can have something different." He laughed a little and lowered his head. "I thought my parents can name me."

Hinata brought her hand up to pat the child's head. "Do you like any word?"

"Any word?" Third Mitsuki tapped his chin. "Hamburgers?"

"That's not exactly a good name." Sasuke added in, chuckling a little as he rested his only arm on the table. "Try not to name after a food."

"Hm…" Hinata pondered a little. It was true that naming after a food indeed sounded dangerous, perhaps flowers but it seemed a little too feminine for his son. "What do you want to be anyways, Mitsuki?"

He shrugged. "Can I be anything?"

"As in, what do you want to do when you grow up? A shinobi like your siblings? Or maybe work in a hospital?" Hinata suggested.

"What do you do, kaa-chan?"

"I'm a homemaker." Hinata smiled, feeling a little unproud at herself since she had the potential to be more than just that. But her priority was her children, and she promised to take cause of the home she had with Naruto. "I used to be a kunoichi. I do missions and fought in the war."

"The war?" Third Mitsuki was filled with curiosity. "So tou-san, are you a shinobi too?"

Sasuke inhaled audibly. He was, actually. But he was a missing nin too and he wasn't exactly the a proper shinobi after he defected Konoha. "Well… I was – "

"Your father fought in the war too." Hinata said, looking over towards the Uchiha and gave him a smile of assurance. She knew he must be contemplating about the truth, and she thought they could keep it to themselves in the meantime.

"Did you guys win?" The black orbs of Third Mitsuki lit up. "Was it tough?"

"It was. Your father fought hard with the Hokage and they won. They saved the village." Hinata explained with reverence, shooting a glance to Sasuke. "They are very strong people."

Third Mitsuki turned to face his father, excitement consuming his face as he questioned. "What did you do, otou-san?"

"I fought with Kaguya. She's strong." Sasuke said, shivering internally when he realized this son of his possessed something almost similar to the villain they had met through the war. "But we won."

"Wow." Third Mitsuki looked at his father in awe. "I want to be as strong as otou-san. Can I be a shinobi too?"

"You need to enrol in the Konoha Ninja Academy to start your shinobi journey." Hinata finished and blinked a little. "Do you want to stay… in Konoha? Will Orochimaru be okay with it?"

"He told us that I can choose where I want to go." Third Mitsuki explained. "I want to stay in Konoha, where tou-san and kaa-chan is at."

Sasuke mentally gritted his teeth. He would be happy for his son to be in Konoha, but he did not want to allow Hinata to bore full responsibility on the kid if she did not want to. He obviously couldn't be in town all the time, and that would only mean that the female Hyuga had to be the one taking care of Mitsuki.

They needed to talk as soon as possible. He turned to face Hinata and in a brief moment, he activated his sharingan and placed the entire universe on a pause. Bringing his two fingers up, he released the jutsu only on Hinata.

"Sasuke-kun?" Taking a look around and noticing how everything looked as if a movie was on a pause, she knew she was under Sasuke's jutsu.

"I think we do need to talk about Mitsuki." Sasuke explained apologetically. "Everything's still in shock, huh?"

"Yea." Hinata agreed and giggled softly before turning to look at her frozen son. "He doesn't seem like a bad child. I heard from Naruto-kun that he has both of our bloodlines."

"I encountered with him briefly outside of Konoha. He has the sharingan, but yet he managed to seal my tenketsu off on my wrist. Something only one who possessed the byakugan could do." Sasuke said, remembering the incident vividly. "He did not know he had those. It was probably activated because – "

Not exactly the best way to tell the mother that he tried killing him.

"Because?" Hinata probed.

"Uh…" Sasuke looked away in slight embarrassment. "I thought he was trying to harm Sarada and Konoha so I placed him in a rather dangerous situation."

"Oh." Hinata folded her arms, smiling a little. "You tried to kill him?"

"That's another way to put it." Sasuke smirked. "Not the best greeting between a father and a son for the first time."

"Indeed." Hinata nodded. "I think we have to tell him not to address as his mother in public. Naruto-kun said it's better to keep things low key."

Sasuke stared at the cup of tea on the table. As much as he wanted more children, but not like this. "Are you okay with that?"

"I guess I have to." She replied solemnly. "I don't want him to be targeted by people at such a young age. Is Sakura okay with this arrangement?"

"I have yet to visit her. Has she been discharged?" Sasuke quizzed.

Hinata chuckled a little. "You should visit Sakura more often. The news must had hit her quite badly."

"It did. She fainted, which I assumed you did too." Sasuke teased a little and felt he won a little when he saw the Hyuga's face turning red. "Are you okay with taking care of Mitsuki? If he wants to stay in Konoha."

"Yea." Hinata stroked the long hair of the frozen Mitsuki, smiling a little as it reminded her of her dead cousin, Neji. "I will be, of course I will be. He has my blood after all, how can I not be?"

Sasuke felt the corner of his lips curved upwards. "Are you still surprise?"

"Who wouldn't be?" A sigh escaped her lips. "I'm glad Naruto-kun's alright with him staying with us. I'm just not sure will Mitsuki even get use to the life we have."

"Does your kids know?" Sasuke asked as he looked towards their son.

"Not yet." She spoke. "Maybe tonight. Maybe tonight. I have to find a way to tell them. And explain to Mitsuki that he can't reveal that I am his mother." She muttered.

Sasuke could tell the trouble that was going on in her head, the way she looked at the kid with worry, the way she thought about her children with stress filling her face. "It's okay if all of these is too much. I will talk to Mitsuki about it, he can continue to stay in – "

"Sasuke-kun." She cut him off with a light smile. "I don't think I can live normally knowing I've a son not under my care." She giggled a little and waved her hand dismissively. "You do not have to worry about him. I want to do this. You will stop by once in a while to visit him, like Sarada I guess?"

She was a good mother, he just didn't want to say it out loud at that moment.

"Yea." Sasuke felt the tenseness in his shoulders disappeared when he received the answers he wanted from Hinata. Despite knowing the famous understanding and kind disposition of her, he was still feeling a little uneasy about throwing all the responsibility on her. As if having to take care of her two kids wasn't tough enough. "I will return whenever I can. I will bring Mitsuki to find Orochimaru first. I have forgotten to request from Orochimaru about his birth details papers. I will return tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow's good. I will wait for him at the gates then? If everything's alright, I will talk to Shino-kun about enrolling him into the academy."

"Is three kids too much on your hand?" Sasuke questioned nonchalantly. "I can ask Sakura to help you out, if that's okay. I can even request – "

The female merely shrugged. "It is, but they are my children after all, right?" Finishing her words, she let out a soft sigh. "I promise to take care of Mitsuki so you can continue protecting Konoha, just like Naruto-kun."

Sasuke suddenly got serious. "You're a great wife, Hinata."

His words made her perpetual blush returned as she let out a soft shy giggle. "Ah, I'm just trying my best. If I can't do anything else for the village, the lease I can do is to take care of the children of the two heroes, right?"

She was right, and Sasuke felt for a moment that instead of him and Naruto being the strongest in the village, the true two heroes who had it tougher than them was his wife and the lady sitting across him. Maybe he could stop by the village just a little more.

They sat there in silence for a minute, making Hinata wondered why hadn't he pull them out of the jutsu till he finally spoke again. "Any name you are interested in giving him?"

"He's been asking you, hasn't he?" Hinata chuckled a little when she caught the stressed looking Uchiha. "I guess he really wants us to name him."

"Yea. He was doubting that I was his dad initially. Am I really that bad around kids?" He asked, rolling his eyes.

"You're scary towards children." Hinata shrugged. "And… not to mention you almost tried to kill our Mitsuki."

Sasuke laughed softly along, feeling a little more comfortable around the quiet wife of the Hokage. Despite her being his best friend's spouse, most of their conversation previously were situated around the loud blonde and nothing else. They spoke nothing deeper than usual face value stuff so he was surprised that she was a good person to have a conversation with.

"He's a kind kid. Despite me having him by his throat, he did not try to fight back after I released him."

"He seems gentle." Hinata said, before her elegant brows lifted lightly. "How about we name him Yuu?"

"Yuu?"

"A symbolization of gentleness." She nodded, looking over towards the dark haired boy. "She reminded me of Neji nii-san slightly. Maybe it's the hair."

"Neji may know the gentle fist, but he wasn't at all in any other way gentle." Sasuke joked a little, causing Hinata to laugh.

The kid did reminded him of his older brother at the same time. Maybe it was the hair too, or perhaps the kind nature that was similar to Itachi before the downfall, or even after. And how gentle he was as a person, to people as well as to animals. It was disappointing that such a great life had to be ruined and destroyed under a bad leader.

Third Mitsuki possessed almost everything that anybody would wish to obtain. He just did not wish for his power to be misused. "Yea, Yuu is good." He said.

"Let's name him that then." Hinata smiled. "Yuu."

Boruto turned to face his sister at the dining table before returning his attention back to his mother. His mouth dropped wide opened, hands moving around trying to express himself without the help of words. He couldn't believe it. It was the usual evening, where he returned home to his little sister greeting her and then they sat around the table in three to have dinner.

Not surprised that his father did not return, and as much as he thought that it was the usual evening, he was then given a piece of information he thought he heard wrongly, or maybe simply just unable to comprehend. He ruffled his hair a little out of stress and looked towards his sister again, in hope she would say something but she was having the same trouble as him.

"Mitsuki?" Boruto exclaimed, finally allowing the words to escape.

"His name is Yuu. Sasuke-kun renamed him." Hinata corrected, smiling as her brows drooped downwards. "I know how odd this sound, but he is just like your Mitsuki. He was created by Orochimaru and – "

Boruto raised his hand to stop his mother from speaking. "Kaa-chan! You're telling me that I have to share a room with him?"

"Yes." She sighed. "Boruto, Yuu is a poor kid – "

"Why can't he stay with Sarada?" Himawari joined in in the questions firing round.

"Well… Sakura's really busy on hand at the hospital." Hinata inhaled deeply. "So it's better for us to let Yuu stay with us."

"Kaa-chan, does that stupid guy knows about this?" Boruto questioned, clearly indicating his father. "Why does he have to take my room? Can't he sleep on the couch?"

Hinata decided not to address the disrespectful way of how her son was addressing her husband because there were priorities to handle first. "Your dad knows about it. Boruto… your room is big enough for two person."

"Yuu seems like a poor kid if he doesn't have a home." Himawari muttered, before nodding her head towards her brother. "We should let him stay."

"But…" The blonde stopped, not knowing what was the appropriate way to retaliate. It wasn't like he was unhappy about having a new person staying with them. "That's not your room of course it's okay!" Boruto dropped his chopsticks onto the table. "I'm done eating."

Hinata could tell, by the amount of food left untouched that her son was mad. So she nodded her head. "Remember, don't sleep with your stomach full." She said softly.

The boy left the dining table, leaving the two females alone. Hinata knew she had to be strong even though she really felt like breaking down at that moment. Her husband was too busy for her, her son hadn't been easy to her and the only solace she could have was how sweet her daughter would be to her most of the time.

She lifted her hand to rest it above Himawari's head. "Hima, are you alright with Yuu coming over?"

"Kaa-chan, if Yuu doesn't come over where would he be staying?"

"At the sound village, where he was created." Hinata explained. "He will return there."

The youngest child tapped her chin a few times. "I think it's better for Yuu nii-san to come over. Being so far away from his father seems scary."

Hinata laughed softly as the way Himawari address Yuu. She leaned forward and rested her forehead against hers. "Hima, thank you."
