Spring had always been Raven's favorite time of year. She would never let the Titans know of course, but the warm and sunny weather always made her feel happy.

But she hatedhow everyone ateas much pink, purple, green, and blue chocolate candy they could. Beast Boy included.

The team was going shopping for even more candy. Beast Boy and Starfire had somehow managed to eat the Tower's entire stash of sweets. The shops were filled with eggs of all shapes and sizes, each with a chocolate filling. Spring was upon them, and the Titans were beginning to settle into the new season.

"Friend Raven, whatchocolate treat would you enjoy finding in your Easter Basket? A Bunny Rabbit perhaps?" Starfire asked with glee.

"Actually Star, I don't like chocolate. Just grab some black licorice for me. It's my favorite" Replied Raven nonchalantly.

"Alright Friend Raven, are you sure you don't wish for anything else? Beast Boy has already filled the trunk of the T-Car with jellybeans." Starfirerecited withwonder.

"I'm sure Starfire. Why don't you ask Robin if he wants anything? I'll go talk to Beast Boy about how he plans to work off all this weight." Raven said.

Starfire smiled at the sound of Robin's name as she walked off to go find him. The little bells jingled as they hit the front door as she stepped outside. She took a deep breath of the afternoon air and stepped over to the T-Car. Beast Boy was currently devouring another chocolate bar and holding two packs of licorice.

Raven made a disgusted face at the green boy and gingerly sat down next to him on the plush leather interior.

"Mind if I have some?" she asked, nodding at the licorice. The best he could do was vigorously shake his head up and down and pass her a few strands of the dark candy. Raven pulled apart two of the sticky strands and popped one in her mouth, chewing on it.

Beast Boy swallowed and looked up at her. "You like licorice Raven?" he thought aloud.

She stared at him, pondering his question, and nodded. "Yes, why do you ask?"

He sighed and looked down at the grey seat. "I dunno. I guess it's always reminded me of you," she cocked her head, wondering what else he was going to say, "It's really bitter in the beginning, and really chewy, almost like you're not supposedto like it. Then the more you chew it, the sweeter and less chewy it seems to get. It's sorta like the way you are, but not all chewy and stuff. I guess it's sort of stupid." He shrugged his shoulders and looked back up at her She was thoughtfully chewing her licorice.

She swallowed and stared at him as he popped a piece of licorice in his mouth too. She watched as he made a face at its bitterness, almost as if he hated it. He bit down hard on it, trying to tenderize the strand. Then his face turned to one of bliss as the licorice got soft and sweet and he swallowed with a smile on his face.

"Delicious. Licorice has always been my favorite candy. I love it." With that, he leaned over and kissed Raven right on the mouth. She was surprised at first, but then kissed him back. And with that, Raven and Beast Boy shared their first kiss. The licorice kiss.
