"Okay," Lumaria said, with a determined look on her face, "you ready?"
Ananias nodded with a blank, though solemn, look on his face. "Ready as I'll ever be," he nonchalantly replied.
"Alright then, here it goes!" Lumaria cleared her throat for a bit before saying, "Ananias!" she called out expectantly. "Could you help carry my bags for me? It's hot out, and I really don't feel like doing it right now!"
Ananias let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine, I'll -" he then interrupted himself upon realizing what he was saying, "I… I mean," he turned his back to Lumaria defiantly, "d-do it yourself. I'm not your squire."
"Aw," Lumaria cried, feigning disappointment, "that's too bad. I guess I'll just have to carry everything under this unbearable heat all by my lonesome then!" She let out a crestfallen sniff. "Oh, boo hoo."
Ananias anxiously gulped before reluctantly saying, "Y-Yeah, sucks to be you, right? Sorry, but nothing you do is ever going to make me do your work for you, so you can just cut the act and forget about it."
"Oh, boo hoo," Lumaria continued. "They're all so heavy, and I've broken my back too! Oh, boo hoo! I wish that there was someone out there who could help me when I need it the most!"
Ananias winced. "Y-Yeah, well, I don't feel like it today, so you can keep on wishing there."
"Of course. I guess that this is all my own fault, after all. All I ever do is take advantage of people, and now no one will is left to be by my side because of it. I truly am all alone. Boo hoo."
"A-Ah," Ananias said weakly, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he did. "W-Well, maybe I could make an exception, just this once…."
"Wrong!" Lumaria cried, causing Ananias to cringe and for her to glare at him sternly. "Ananias, what happened?! You were doing so well up until that point!"
"You're asking me that?!" Ananias asked. "What about you? That was going too far!"
"In the real world, it's never too far!" Lumaria argued. "And besides, the scenario was that you were being approached by a person that you KNOW has a reputation for lying excessively to get people to do what she wants! No matter how sad it got, you should've known better and just insisted on turning her down about it!"
"Yeah," Ananias sheepishly admitted, "but what if she was going through a small change of heart right then and there? I can't just ignore that type of possibility just because I want to be selfishly inactive and useless for a day."
Lumaria groaned as she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Man, you really are hopeless, aren't you?"
"Says the girl who still can't convincingly keep her head held up high whenever she's being compared to someone she feels inadequate to, despite the fact that she's got plenty things about herself to be proud of," Ananias deadpanned.
"H-Hey! It's better than being bigheaded about myself for no good reason, right?"
Ananias shook his head. "And there's the obligatory excuse. Face it, the two of us are completely hopeless, self-righteous, self-loathing nut jobs. It's going to take a miracle to fix us up right."
Lumaria sighed. "Well, despite the fact that I think calling us 'nut jobs' is a bit much, yeah. At the rate we're going, things are never going to get better for us."
"And yet, we're so good at pointing out someone else's flaws whenever we feel the need to," Ananias pointed out.
Lumaria chuckled. "Yeah, what a bunch of hypocrites we are, huh?"
Ananias frowned. "That's not something to laugh about," he said matter-of-factly.
"Well, excuse me for having enough of a sense of humor that allows me to laugh at myself every once and a while!" Lumaria cried. She then let out another exasperated sigh. "Honestly, at this rate, we're better off sticking with each other for the rest of our lives just so we can make sure that neither of our flaws get too out of hand." She folded her arms. "But that would just be silly." She then thought it over for a moment before giving Ananias a questionable look. "W-Wouldn't it?"
Ananias simply shrugged and nodded his head. "It would, but it's certainly doable. I mean, I don't mind hanging out with you and all, and we seem to get along just fine."
Lumaria sighed. "Those aren't exactly the best reasons to start being with each other for the rest of our lives," she pointed out.
Ananias shrugged. "I guess." A moment of silence came between the two before Ananias added, "Does it help that I think you're pretty?"
Lumaria gasped as her face turned beet red. "W-What?"
"Does it help -"
"I know what you said!" Lumaria cried. She then began instinctively fixing her hair as she mumbled, "It's just a bit silly to be with each other over something as trivial as that, no matter how nice it sounds."
"Well, I also think very highly of you," Ananias continued on.
"W-What exactly are you trying to get at, huh?! If you're insinuating something, then just come on out and say it already!"
This time, it was Ananias' turn to blush and act awkwardly. "F-Fine, I will." He gulped nervously. "Lumaria, s-since you're no longer obligated to be a khan anymore in this world, would you mind, spending the rest of your life on this one with me instead?"
Lumaria gasped. "Ananias..." She then let out a small giggle. "My, how long have you been considering THAT for?"
Ananias shrugged. "Just now," he answered.
Lumaria's eyes widened in surprises. "Just now?" she repeated incredulously.
Ananias nodded. "Yeah. The moment you brought up the idea of sticking with each other for the rest of our lives, I don't know, it just kind of felt right. It felt like something I should've been offering, you know?"
Lumaria chuckled. "What? Like... a gut feeling?"
Ananias nodded. "Yeah, you could say that. So, are you okay with that, or..."
"Of course!" Lumaria answered excitedly. "To be honest, I've always sort of had a bit of a crush on you!"
Ananias let out a tiny gasp before letting out a small chuckle. "Geez, now who's the one hiding their feelings?"
Lumaria giggled. "I guess that makes us a perfect match then, doesn't it?"
Ananias smiled and shrugged good-naturedly. "If that's true, then maybe we shouldn't. After all, that would make my gut feelings just as bad as yours."
Lumaria roughly punched him on the arm. "Alright, that's enough of that!"
Ending: Ananias and Lumaria
Ananias became the official messenger between the multitudes of Annas. He and his wife, Lumaria, greatly enjoyed their simple and nomadic lives and were said to have complemented each other very well.
Author's Note: Welp, there ends the last of the original character supports. I hope you liked all of them! Now we can get back to canon characters. Next will be Yarne, followed by Laurent and then Brady, and then after that, it'll finally be time to do Fates Supports! Until next time!
