Saph parked Wave Crasher in the garage and closed the door. Exiting the garage and entering through the bar to get the apartment keys from his roomate.

Once inside he saw that the place was somewhat empty. Save a few of the regulars, and Junior.

Junior wanted a stiff drink and knew that his good liquor was smashed in the fight, and the only other good spot in town to get a stiff drink was at The Drought.

Saph sat down at his spot at the bar and pulled out that coin from before. He twirled it in his fingers. He waited for his roommate to finish serving drinks to get over to him at the bar.

Saph looked up from his coin and Gold eyes met Crimson as Maroon stood at his end of the bar. "Well, look who has graced me with his presence." Saph joked. Maroon chuckled and walked over to the inbar fridge and pulled out an Electric Cherry soda, A Juggernog soda and a small box.

Popping the cap off the two bottles, Maroon slid the Electric Cherry over to Saph, as well as the box.

Saph grabbed his soda and looked at Maroon with a raised eyebrow.

"Call it a going away gift. It was expensive to get refurbished so don't break it." Maroon said as he went to go make Junior a drink.

Saph drank some of the soda and opened the box. Inside was something that made Saph almost spit out his soda.

Inside of the box was Maroon's pistol he got from his Father. A sleek silver revolver with three barrels to shoot from, a modified clip that held 12 bullets at the same time. The gun was fitted for left handed use, perfect for Saph, while he often used his right hand for his axe, he was ambidextrous. However it was also given a new grip, cobalt metal lined the onyx grip.

Maroon already knew what Saph was going to say and beat him to the punch. "You are gonna take it. Plus that Decal in the grip was hell to get put on."

Saph looked at the grip and sure enough, his emblem was engraved onto it.

A three petal Violet flower with an ocean and ship inside of the flower.

Saph looked back up and just rested the gun on the counter. Unsure of where else to put it.

Maroon walked back over after serving drinks to give Saph the apartment key. "Tomorrow we're going to get you a holster for that, and then after that you have 4 more days till you leave for beacon." Maroon said as he grabbed the empty box and threw it away.

Saph grabbed the gun and walked up a flight of stairs at the back of the bar. The stairs led up to the two's shared apartment.

Inside the apartment was a small living room and kitchen, with a hallway between the two leading to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Saph went to his room and laid the gun on his desk before taking off his jacket and boots.

The room was small with a bed, a nightstand, a desk, dresser and small TV that had been so unused the plastic was still on it.

He sat down on his bed and pulled out his scroll. He checked for any messages, empty. The silvette sighed and laid his phone on the small nightstand he had next to his bed.

Saph was about to go to sleep until he heard a small knock on his window. He knew who it was the moment the knock came.

Peering over he saw the Knight standing on the fire escape outside his window. "Go home." Saph said to the Knight.

"I only came to wish you congratulations. Maroon told me over the messaging device he gave me." The Knight said from outside, slightly muffled.

"Alright, cool thanks. Go home Greyus." Saph said as he got up and shut his binds.

"Very well. Have a great rest young Violet." Greyus said before he jumped off the fire escape and walked away.

"God, that guy gets annoying sometimes." Saph said as he finally laid down for sleep.

Five Days Later

Saph had everything packed. Books, clothes and any necessities he had was inside one large blue suitcase.

Nodding at his work he pulled the suitcase behind him and down the flight of stairs. Once down he saw that his quad had already been taken to Beacon by their valet team. The only reason he knew this was because the garage was open as Maroon stood in front of his hot red sports car. "Ready to go?" Maroon said as he threw on his red leather jacket over his black T.

Saph nodded his head and put his suitcase in the back of the car. Maroon got in the driver seat and Saph got into the passenger seat. The two pulled out of the garage and started to drive away but were stopped when Junior and the Malachite twins started running over.

Saph rolled down his window and peered his head out. Junior ran up with a letter. "Sorry we almost missed it. This is from everyone in the club. But this right here is from me." Junior said as he pulled off a backpack. He opened it up and handed something that made Saph's eyes pop out of his head. A large bottle of cherry flavored Gin.

"Junior, you know I can't drink." Saph said somewhat nervously. Junior chuckled and ruffled Saph's hair.

"I know. But that's the whole point, everyone in beacon who isn't either a child or a prissy prick is going to drink when they can. With that you can either drink it alone or get paid by giving people shots." Junior explained.

Saph sighed and put the bottle in the back seat. During this Junior stepped back to let the twins over.

For as long as Saph had worked for Junior, the twins always liked to tease him. But now that he was leaving they both gave him a kiss on the cheek, as well as an envelope.

"We're gonna miss you, so we got something for you to remember us by." Melanie said waving goodbye. Milita waved goodbye as well, however silently and blushing at what her sister roped her into.

Junior waved goodbye to the young man and Maroon finally got to drive off.

During the ride, Saph opened both letters. From the entire employee team were different goodbye messages, the one from the security team in particular was much more heartfelt.

The second letter was a personal letter from the twins. Talking about how Saph was going to kick ass at beacon and to not share the other items in the envelope. Quirking an eyebrow Saph looked inside the envelope and began to blush madly as he pulled out two images of the twins in langerie posing in very provacative ways.

Maroon glanced at the pictures and began to giggle like a child before he saw Saph's face of embarrassment. He laughed even harder, so hard in fact he had wipe tears from his eyes.

After a long and silent trip, the two made it to the air busses that would take Saph to Beacon academy.

They hid the bottle of gin in the suitcase along with the letters. Saph gave his suitcase to the team working and it got in with no issue.

Maroon pulled Saph in for a hug. "Gonna miss you blue. But if you see any cute hunters or huntresses, send them my way." Maroon said letting Saph go.

Saph chuckled and fist bumped his roommate. "I'll be sure to do that. See you round the bend." Saph said as he walked away.

The young man climbed into the Airbus and found a nice and quiet spot to sit. Across from him was a girl with long black hair and a black bow on the top of it. She wore what looked like a black corset with sleeves, with a white undershirt.

They both looked at each other and nodded. Forming a silent respect.

Saph pulled out his scroll and headphones and played some music to zone out to.

Soon enough, people began to get off of the Airbus. Saph followed and grinned at the sight in front of him.

Beacon Academy, the best of the best.

These years would help define his life, and it all started with one step.

So Saph took that step, and then felt a tug on his jacket.

He turned to see who had grabbed his lovely coat and paled.

Snow-white hair adorned the top of her head.

"Oh shit. Hey?" Saph said.

The girl's face wore a scowl that deepened.

She then screamed. "SAPPHIRE RICHARD VIOLET!" At the top of her lungs in anger.
