The sky always showed his mood wherever he liked it or not, this time was no different the sky was completely covered in clouds, and the others would think that he was angry at some foolish mortal, and usually, that was the reason, but this time.
"Sir, she has entered labor, do you want to come in?" asked a doctor.
"No, trust me, it's a bad idea." replied the man.
"Ok, huh funny she said, that this was going to be your answer"
"She knows me well."
With that the doctor left, and the man proceeded to go back to looking out the window of the hospital he was in, and the sky started to get in turmoil, he knew the risks but he never thought it was going to be possible, if the others find out, only Chaos would know what they were going to do, worst if one of the other factions find about its existence.
He should have left, as is stated in the laws, and yet he couldn't feel their weight or they being broken, he had a suspension but he needed to see with his own eyes.
"Reckless." said someone.
The man sighed, his older sister has not been this anxious in ages.
"Please Hestia, calm down." replied the man.
"Calm down? How do you want me to calm down? What you did Zeus is one of the most reckless things you did in your existence, a relationship with a daughter of Lucifer and having a child with her, how did you manage that?" said Hestia in a rushed whispering.
"It's complicated," replied Zeus with a tired voice.
They have been seeing each other for over five years and only recently their feelings became something romantic, and they only did the deed because they were drunk, not that he regretted it, but they never thought it would be possible for a child to be born, beings from different factions couldn't reproduce with one another until now it seems.
"This was not supposed to be possible but it's happening anyway, I'm just letting you know about its existence because I need your advice sister," said Zeus finally turning to his sister.
Hestia was in her older form, a 30-year-old woman with brown hair that seem like a waterfall and using a casual dress, and with orange eyes that seemed to be made of fire.
Zeus, on the other hand, was with a casual trench coat along with a social shirt and social pants, electric blue eyes that seemed to fill with energy, and with shoulder length black hair, and a well-trimmed beard, usually, he wore more professional clothes but this time he couldn't bring himself to care.
"You can feel don't you, the ancient laws don't bind it," Zeus said.
"Yes I do, and it terrifies me." Hestia replied worriedly "We don't know what it is, for all we know this could be a new Serapis, did you ever think about the reaction of the other kings?"
"They are duty-bound to obey me." Zeus dismissed.
"And you as the King of the West duty bound to protect all Western Pantheons, or did you forget that." reminded Hestia
Zeus simply turned back to the window.
"You are my brother and I love you, but you need to start to think about the consequences of your actions, otherwise you may one day create a problem that will become everyone's problem," advised Hestia.
"It's nearly done." Zeus said, "I have decided to stay with the child, it will need all the help it can get."
"And how do you plan to explain this to the others?" Hestia asked.
"I don't have to explain myself to them, I'm their king."
"And what about Hera?"
"I... I will cross that bridge when I arrive there."
"Ok, I will trust you with this brother, but please promise that you won't do something reckless."
"I learned to stop making promises that I can't keep."
Hestia sighed
"Fine, but be careful at least."
"That, I can promise."
"And that will be enough, goodbye brother, see you in Olympus."
And then Hestia vanished as if she was not even there in the first place, but nobody lift an eyebrow over this, thanks to the fact that the hospital was used to dealing with the wizards, and just as his sister was gone, the hospital started to shake.
"Welcome to the world little one," Zeus said while looking at the source of the tremors.
The tremors continued for about more five minutes until they slowly started to stop, and when they did stop, it was when a doctor arrived.
"Good news sir, it's over, do you want to see them?" asked the doctor.
"Yes, lead the way," Zeus said.
And so the doctor guided him through the corridors of the hospital, he started to think about what his sister told him, the other kings would be terrified of another Serapis rising, so he needed to think this carefully, the ancient laws are not binding this child which means he could be present this time, he needed to make sure that it's going to be able to survive whatever the divine world decides to throw against it.
"Here we are sir." the doctor said while he opened the door.
Inside he saw her, she was resting from all the work she needed to do to bring their child into the world, her golden hair was spread on the pillow and exhaustion was visible in her purple eyes, her white skin was filled with sweat and yet she was smiling towards what she was holding in her arms.
"Well, it seems I won our little bet, say hi to your son," she told him while holding their son for him.
He took his son into his arms, and looked at him, the baby had a puff of black hair and his face was a mix of both of his parents, but his eyes were just like that of his mother a deep purple.
"Have you already decided on a name Elizabeth?" he asked his lover.
"I was hoping you would have one," she replied.
Zeus looked at his son and started to think of a name that would fit him, he at first started thinking about the ancient names but realized that did not fit him, so he made one up.
"Aegon." he decided. "Aegon Sayre."
