"Um, Lady Camilla?" Ananias asked, having almost passed her by before noticing the downcast and disappointed look on the eldest princess' face and wondering what exactly had gotten her into such a dour mood. "Pardon me for asking, but is everything alright?"

"Huh?" Camilla absentmindedly said, having been lost in her own thoughts before Ananias' voice had abruptly woken her from them. She then gave him a small and reassuring smile before answering, "O-Oh, yes, of course! Everything is simply marvelous, darling! Why do you ask?"

Ananias coughed uncomfortably into the side of his fist and sheepishly averted his eyes to the side. "Well, with all due respect, milady, you look a little bit, um... under the weather today."

Camilla nodded understandingly and frowned before letting out an amused, but noticeably gloomy chuckle. "It's that obvious, is it? What a terrible shame. I was hoping on hiding it a little better than this."

"Is something troubling you?"

"Yes," Camilla admitted, "but don't you worry your little head about it. I am more than capable of handling it myself."

"Of course," Ananias respectfully said, "but if there's anything I can do to help, just ask, alright? I mean," he began to scratch the back of his head, "just because you're a princess doesn't mean you have to go and do things alone, you know? Retainer or not, I'm here to help if you need it."

Camilla giggled as she eyed him commendably. "My... how noble of you." She then pondered mysteriously to herself before adding, "Very well then. If you are so insistent on helping me, then I will allow it, but share my troubles with anyone else, and there shall be hell to pay." She smiled merrily at him. "Do you understand?"

Ananias gulped before nodding. "Y-Yes, ma'am."

Camilla chuckled before inviting him to take a seat, taking a deep breath, and explaining, "It's about Corrin." She shook her head and took a moment to collect herself. "As much as I hate to admit it, he's growing up."

Ananias nodded. "So, typical big sister woes, huh?"

Camilla nodded as she wiped an unshed tear that had been forming at the corner of her eye. "When he was younger, it was usually at this time when I'd invite him to rest his head on my lap. He was such a sweet child back then, and he still, but now..."

"He feels like he's outgrown it, huh?"

"Yes," Camilla sniffed, before shaking her head and chuckling at herself. "Oh, how silly of me. I knew that this day would come sooner or later, and yet here I am, getting so emotional over something as trivial as this."

"Yeah, well, you wouldn't be the first," Ananias said.

"Hmm?" Camilla asked.

Ananias bowed his head and sighed before explaining, "With a family like mine, there was always an Anna getting herself ready to pack up, leave home, and go out on their own. And every time they did, it never seemed to get to get any less sad for everyone that came to see them off. Tears were always shed, no matter how many times an Anna saw another Anna off." He then turned back to Camilla. "What you're feeling, it's a natural feeling for anyone who loves and cares deeply for someone. So don't sweat about it too much, okay?"

Camilla stared at him for a moment, too intrigued by what he had said to speak, before letting out a small laugh, and saying, "It sounds to me that you have a very kind and loving family."

Ananias nodded. "Yeah, I do," he squeezed his knees before muttering, "not like I was mature enough to always appreciate it though."

Camilla gently tapped the back of one of his hands and rubbed it tenderly before replying, "Yes, but I would imagine that that is par for the course for normal family too, yes?"

Ananias simply shrugged. "Probably."

Wishing to lighten the mood, Camilla then asked, "So, what do you suggest for this lovesick princess to do to deal with her inability to let her precious sibling go?"

Ananias thought for a moment before answering, "Well, this may not be the best method, but... once an Anna left her mother, that mother would usually latch onto another mother's Anna, at least until they could get over the loss and move on, you know?"

"Hmm," Camilla said. "So what you're suggesting is that I replace all of the time I usually use to spend with Corrin with someone else until I learn to cope with spending my time without him, is that right?"

Ananias nodded. "That's the gist of it."

Camilla then chuckled and looked at him suggestively before asking, "So what you're saying is that instead of doting over Corrin, I should be doting over you, is that it?"

Ananias blinked at her in confusion for a moment before blushing and letting out a gasp of surprise and horror before standing up, quickly backing a few steps away from her, shaking his head, waving his hands, and stammering, "N-No! Of course not! I-If you want to dote on somebody so much, then just go to the nearest orphanage and dote on all of the kids there!" He then realized that his reply could've easily been interpreted as a sign of disrespect and insubordination and quickly added, "N-Not that I'm accusing your love and care of being terrible or anything! I'm just saying...," he then ruffled his hair in frustration before muttering, "ah, jeez, what AM I saying?!"

Camilla chuckled. "Aw, what an adorable reaction! And from such a usually quiet and stoic man too! That just makes your reaction even cuter!"

Ananias gaped at her in shock for a moment before asking, "Wait... d-did you just... say all of that just to get a rise out of me?"

Camilla giggled playfully before answering, "Forgive me, darling, but it's so rare that you leave yourself wide open like that! I just couldn't resist!"

Ananias blushed as covered his face with his hands and groaned. "Please... just... don't ever do that again."

Camilla smiled knowingly. "Darling, we both know that I can't promise that."

Author's Note#1: And here begins Camilla's supports with Ananias. I hope it was worth the wait. The next supports will be Gunther, followed by Setsuna, Kanna, Selena, Beruka, Xander, Azura, Flora, Odin, Laslow, Rinkah, Arthur, Silas, and Leo. Got someone else you want to support with Ananias that isn't on this list yet? Request it. Remember, all Nohr first generation characters, Soliel, Ophelia, Anna, Kanna, Rinkah, Subaki, and Setsuna are allowed to support with him as well and it is a first come, first serve system.

Author's Note #2: After I finish the Fates supports, do you guys want me to do some Warriors supports too? A couple of readers have expressed their disappointment that Ananias can't support with more Hoshidans and since I don't really want to break my own rules or increase my workload even more than I have to, I figure that writing some Warriors supports would be a pretty decent compromise, especially since Warriors supports are only really one conversation per character and they don't support with everyone, just a choice number. I think the most supports any one character gets in that game is around nine or eight. For the sake of this story, however, I will allow ten, and although I would be happy to hear who you guys want to support with Ananias the most, I'll ultimately be making the final decisions on them. Maybe I'll open up a poll for you guys to vote on or something. So, what do you guys think? Should I do ten Warriors supports after I am done with Fates?
