He couldn't stop staring at her lips. As her tongue ran slowly across them, he shuddered. Her lips were small and sweet, and all he wanted to do was take her in his arms, and kiss that wonderful…
"Jack? I think I'll go in now. It's getting chilly out." She smiled shyly up at him, realizing his startled expression.
He looked back up into her eyes, and coughed nervously.
"Yes, it is. I'm sorry," Jack looked at her and smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow then?" Sue said, tilting her head a little to the side, letting a lock of blonde hair fall to her shoulder.
Before Jack could stop himself, he had moved closer to her and tucked the stray hair behind her ear, ever so gently. Sue took in a breath, as she realized how close Jack was to her; she could feel his breath on her cheek.
"Jack…" Sue started, but her words stopped as soon as Jack's lips landed on hers.
It was a sweet innocent kiss at first, then Jack cupped her chin in his hands, and the kissed turned deep and passionate. Sue closed her eyes, and slowly put her arms around Jack's neck, not caring about the people passing by. She soon got lost in that kiss, as she did in the one that happened just hours ago.
Jack felt her arms go around his neck, and he relaxed. He'd thought she'd back away, but now she was kissing him back, and he felt like he was exactly where he wanted to be.
In the arms of the woman he loved.
