Back and forth, our worlds collide
Tied to the well of time
Battling demons and schoolwork too
What else is this poor girl to do?
When I am in the future he gives me no slack
When I am supposed to be in school he just pulls me back
My friends say he's a player and with a delinquent attitude
My bro thinks he is a hero and the bravest person he knew
Dwelling in the past, we hunt these demons down
Every time he saves me, I could almost swoon
Beneath that jerk I always could find
A hurt soul and grief
He holds back many tears
I guess he would like to weep
I want to tell him how I feel
Nevertheless, something holds me back
I know he cares and knows I'm there
But somehow is ignored
I wish to tell him someday
As soon as night turns dawn
