"Arthur," Ananias called out. "We need to talk. Do you have a minute?"

Said man raised an eyebrow in surprise for a moment before confidently folding his arms and giving Ananias a reassuring grin. "But of course! What seems to be the problem?"

"It's... that bad luck of yours...," Ananias began.

"Hmm?" Arthur gave his fellow retainer a genuine look of confusion. "Forgive me for asking this, my friend, but did we not already agree that my terrible case of bad luck was nothing to worry about?"

Ananias reluctantly shrugged. "Well, yeah, but - "

"And besides," Arthur innocently continued, "it doesn't affect my ability to carry out my orders or fight on the battlefield. And I've certainly gone this long without getting myself killed, so in the grand scheme of things, my bad luck is completely inconsequential, wouldn't you say?"

"Um... not really?" Ananias answered.

Arthur frowned. "Not really?"

Ananias sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Look, Arthur, I know that you've become somewhat... accustomed to your own bad luck, and everyone else has become more or less the same, and I know I said that I wouldn't worry too much after seeing it firsthand, but...," he shook his head, "I'm sorry, man. I just don't think I can just stand by and let this just keep happening. At least, not until I've actually tried my hand at trying to help you out myself."

"Ah," Arthur nodded understandingly, "so that's it! Well, who am I to get in the way of a hero trying to come to another hero's aid?" He then anxiously frowned. "Though be forewarned, my friend. As it should be evidently clear, no one who has ever tried has ever succeeded in tempering this bad luck of mine. You are still welcome to try, of course, but I simply do not wish for you to get your hopes up on this endeavor."

"I won't," Ananias reassured him. "But who knows? Maybe my background will give me a different perspective on things."

Arthur let out a hearty and encouraging laugh. "Well, if that's what you believe, then by all means, go right on ahead! I certainly look forward to your attempts!"

"Oh, speaking of attempts... here." Ananias then handed Arthur a small, wooden box.

Arthur raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Oh? And what, pray tell, is this?"

"It's a box full of good luck charms that Lady Elise and I made," Ananias explained.

Arthur smiled and nodded. "Ah, so Lady Elise helped you too, did she?"

Ananias nodded. "Yeah. I mean, she knows that you can take care of yourself, but still... a little more good luck wouldn't hurt, you know?"

Arthur let out an exuberant laugh. "Yes, that certainly does sound like her!" He then opened the box to see what sort of good luck charms were inside. "Well, I'll be! Look at all of these!" He looked back at Ananias. "Are these truly all for me?"

Ananias nodded. "Yeah. Lady Elise and I figured that you could stand to have a little variety, so we made a bunch of them so that you could choose which one you'd like to wear for the day and wear a different one the next."

"You and Lady Elise spoil me, my friend!" Arthur then began to pick some of them up so that he could admire them even more. "I mean, just look at all of these! They are all each so charmingly beautiful in their own way!"

Ananias let out an awkward laugh as he rubbed the back of his neck. "You've got Lady Elise to thank for that. I was... never really good at art."

Arthur laughed and have Ananias a reassuring nod. "Do not look so down, my friend. It is the thought that counts! And if this is a gift from both you and Lady Elise, then I will treasure each and every one of these good luck charms, regardless of whether they cure me of my bad luck or not."

Ananias smiled. "Thanks. Lady Elise will be happy to hear that."

"Oh, what are we doing?" Arthur asked, placing his good luck charms back into their box. "Why are we talking about Lady Elise, when we can simply seek her out and tell her ourselves? Come, Ananias! Our princess awaits!"

Author's Note #1: And here begins Ananias' supports with Arthur. The next supports will be Silas, followed by Leo, Keaton, and Subaki.

Author's Note #2: The Fire Emblem Warriors poll is up on my profile! Vote for which five characters you want for Ananias to support with from that game the most and, in the end, ten characters will be selected for Ananias to support with, so make your voices heard. Happy voting!

Author's Note #3: As Ananias has no real connection to the Three Houses cast and has no real reason to be there anyway, there will be no Three Houses supports for him. I know that an Anna is in Three Houses, but if we went by that logic, Ananias would have to support with every Fire Emblem character that has ever existed, which would be unrealistic to do, at least for one person. If any of you want to do that yourselves, however, then you have my blessing, it's just that I won't be the one doing it. Sorry.
