"Come on, Ez! Hurry up already!" Callum cheered as he practically skipped ahead of Ezran and Rayla.

"Callum, slow down! The adoraburrs will still be there when we get there. They've been there my whole life." Rayla giggled at her boyfriend's antics.

"But we won't! We need to get there as soon as possible so we have more time to play with them!" Callum argued.

"I gotta admit, I am excited! I've been wanting to see all kinds of animals around Xadia in real-life for forever and if these adoraburrs are as cute as Callum says, I'm sure this trip will be worth it." Ezran said.

"It will!" his brother called, poking his head from behind a random tree and gesturing at them to hurry again.

"We're almost there. Are you ready?" Rayla asked.

"Yup! Ready to make a bunch of new friends! Right, Bait?" Ezran nodded, looking down at the faithful glowtoad in his arms who grunted in agreement.

"Glad to hear it because-" "We're here!" Callum cheered, cutting his girlfriend off.

"Right, what he said." Rayla just shook his head, grabbing the king's hand and pulling him into a run past the last few trees and bushes till they reached the grassy meadow.

"The adoraburrs are supposed to be here?" Ezran frowned as he looked around but found nothing but grass.

"Why don't you go and take a closer look?" Rayla suggested, putting a hand over Callum's mouth when he opened it, "Don't ruin the surprise for him."

Suddenly Bait started wiggling in Ezran's arms, wanting to be put down.

As soon as Ezran obeyed and the glowtoad was standing on his own four feet he rushed into the grass, disappearing from sight.

"Bait!" Ezran cried worriedly as he followed him, being able to keep track due to the boving grass and faint glowing.

"Bait?" he called as he reached the spot where Bait had stopped.

He could head Callum giggling and Rayla telling him to be quiet but he ignored them and picked up his beloved pet.

"What are you doing?" he asked as he turned Bait around, gasping at what he saw.

Bait had a tiny, fluffy, purple ball stuck to his nose.

That in itself wasn't what made Ezran gasp, however.

It was the fact that the tiny, fluffy, purple ball had a pair of eyes and was smiling up at him.

"You found one! You found an adoraburr!" Callum cheered, snapping him from his shock.

"I did...? I did!" Ezran mumbled before realizing he did and grinning, eyes wide in excitement.

"Nice to mee you, little guy!" he cooed as he gently pulled the adoraburr from Bait's face to hold it in front of his own.

The adoraburr made a cute little squeak, making him laugh.

More queaking drew his attention and looking around he found many more of the creatures gathered around him, in every color he knew and more.

Ezran gasped even louder than before as he watched some of the creatures jump up and down as if trying to get his attention.

"Guys! These adoraburrs are... well... Adorable!" he cheered, making Rayla laugh.

"Glad you think so too, Ez! And look, they stick together!" she said, holding up a row of adoraburrs, holding the one at the top with the others dangling along like she had done when introducing Callum to them.

"And they're super-stackable!" Callum added, holding up a small piramid of smiling adoraburrs.

"That's awesome!" Ezran cried.

A familiar little roar caught his attention again and turning around he saw Bait again.

It seemed that the poor glowtoad was overwhelmed by all the colorful adoraburrs, many of which had started to cling ontp him, he himself flashing colors rapidly as his eyes shot back and forth.

"Bait!" he cried worriedly as he picked him up, brushed the adoraburrs off and rushed out of the field.

"Are you okay?" he asked when they were savely away from the little puffballs.

Bait just groaned tiredly.

"Adoraburrs are really playful creatures and they can be a bit much. Here, how about I take him so he won't get swarmed again and you can play with them?" Rayla offered.

"I guess. Is that okay with you too, Bait?" Ezran asked the glowtoad who grunted in agreement.

Taking that as permission Exran handed him over to Rayla who went to sit by a nearby tree with Bait snuggled in her lap.

Knowing his pet was in good hands Ezran turned back to the field, only to scream in surprise when a huge ball suddenly emerged from the grass.

"Ez, look! Adora-wig!" instead of a huge adoraburr like Ezran first thought, it turned out to be Callum again with multiple adoraburrs stuck to his head.

It looked like he had a multi-colored afro.

"What is that supposed to be?!" he laughed at his brother.

"What? You think this is funny? I'll show you funny!" Callum grinned before grabbing Ezran by his armpits and flinging him through the air.

"Waaahhh!" Ezran screamed as he flew through the air before landing much softer than he expected.

At first he thought it was because of the grass but the squeaking in his ears quickly proofed differently.

He had landed right in a cluster of adoraburrs.

"Sorry!" he apologised immediantely and went to stand up, only to have them sticking to his arms, legs and well, everything.

The only part of him that wasn't covered in in burrs was his face.

"Whoohoo~" Callum flew through the air and cannon-balled right next to him as if the grass was water.

"Adora-suit!" he cheered as he stood up, covered in adoraburrs just like Ezran.

"Callum!" Ezran went to scold his brother for not being careful before realizing that the creatures were laughing and cheering too.

He could hear Rayla laugh too from where she sat.

Then again, Callum did look really funny and he probably did too.

Figuring that the adoraburrs weren't hurt and really didn't mind their antics Ezran decided to let loose for the first time in weeks and play like a regular kid his age.

With a whoop he threw himself at his brother and tackled him, together rolling through the glass and adoraburrs who kept coming from all over to join the fun.

In the end, after playing for hours, Rayla had to physically drag them both back home with the promise that they could come back some other time again.
