Kuoh Academy (Day)
Francesca was trying to figure out what had happened yesterday. She continued to repeat 'Amano''s words in her head, attempting to decipher what the unknown being meant. She referred to something called a 'Sacred Gear'. The blonde had come across the Golden Gear in the past, but she had a feeling this was different. It made sense logically as well. Hyoudou had an unusual aura about him, like there was more than one Soul in his body. More accurately, his arm. What was weirder was the fact that this Aura was akin to that of a Dragon.
'Who is this guy anyway?' Francesca wondered, thinking back to the most recent message she got on her Arc Phone. 'Why does it have to be so cryptic all the time?'
"Hey, uh, Xiao-Long?" Hyoudou said, approaching the girl's desk. "I'm sorry to intrude, but I needed to know. Were you in town yesterday?"
"No, I don't believe so. But I was in the city." Francesca said, smiling at Hyoudou's displeased face. Then, her eye faintly glowed red. 'His aura seems...darker now. Is it a side effect of what that Rias girl did?'
"Not funny." the boy said, glaring at the blonde. "But, I wanted to know if you remembered Yuuma. See, we went on a date yesterday, and then I had a weird dream. Now, it's like she never existed."
"Yeah, I remember her. Black hair, right?" the girl said, relieving Hyoudou. 'She must've erased the minds of everyone who saw her. I'm probably exempt due to the fact that I don't technically have a brain.'
"Do you think you could help me find her?" the boy asked.
"Eh, why not? After all, I've got nothing better to do with my time." Francesca said as she got up from her seat. "Let's shake on it." she said, holding out her hand. Hyoudou smiled as he took the girl's hand. That happiness quickly turned into dread when something slimy stuck to his palm. "HAH! The old 'Unidentifiable Fluid That May Or May Not Have Originated From My Kidney In The Handshake Trick'. It's always funny."
'I'm already beginning to regret this partnership.' Hyoudou thought to himself as he went to the bathroom to wash his hands.
Downtown Kuoh (Night)
Hyoudou didn't know what to think of Francesca. Despite being a girl, she went out of her way to help the school's biggest pervert. Though, she'd probably laugh if he told her the specifics of his dream. The two looked everywhere, but found no trace of 'Amano'. Nobody remembered her, there was no photo evidence, and even the security cameras didn't pick her up.
'If I didn't know any better, I'd say this girl was sucked into The Void.' Francesca mused, recalling the horrific plane of reality. Looking up, she saw that it was already dark. "We should probably stop for today. It's getting late."
Hyoudou looked confused at this. "What are you talking about? It's still the middle of the day."
"Hmm. Interesting." the girl said to herself, putting a hand to her chin. "Check your phone's clock."
Not understanding the blonde's intentions, the boy did as he was told. When he clicked on the clock app, his eyes went wide. "Wait, it's already that time!?" he exclaimed, shocked. "Wait, does this mean I have night-vision?"
"I wouldn't rule it out. It's possible that someone did something to you that altered your eyesight." Francesca said. She raised a hand to her right eyesocket. 'And I should know a thing or two about weird eyes.'
Hyoudou stopped listening after 'I wouldn't rule it out.'. "Does this mean I have x-ray vision?"
"Try it on me and I'll end you." Francesca said darkly, no trace of humor left. Hyoudou actually felt scared of her in that moment. "Eh, just kidding. How would someone like me manage to even hurt you? You've taken hundreds of beatings from Murayama without being hospitalized, so nothing I can do would be any good." she said, smiling. The pervert had a feeling she was lying about not being able to hurt him. Something about that tone seemed...genuinely malicious.
After a while, they reached the fountain where Hyoudou...
Sensing a new presence, Francesca turned around to find a man in a black trenchcoat staring at her and Hyoudou. "How unfortunate." the man said. "It might just be my lucky day to meet two of your kind here."
Feeling intimidated by the strange man, Hyoudou jumped back two meters, surprising both him and Francesca.
"Running away?" the man asked rhetorically.
"I have no idea what's happening!" Hyoudou screamed, fleeing in terror. Reluctant at first, Francesca followed him. The two didn't get far, though, as the trenchcoat man suddenly sprouted wings and gave chase from the air.
He landed in front of them, his large wings adding to his menacing aura. "This is why low-level creatures like you are so troublesome."
That was the worst thing he could've said in that moment. In less than a second after those words were spoken, Francesca started radiating a flaming aura. "I'm sorry. WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Francesca let very few things get under her skin. One thing she could not abide, however, was someone disrespecting her status. She reached into her pocket and grabbed a Poke Ball. "Porygon-Z, teach this mongrel a lesson in respect!" she yelled, throwing the device. From it, a floating Pokemon with a shiny red body and a detached head appeared.
The man gave no warning as he summoned a Light Spear in his hand and threw it at Porygon-Z. He expected it to tear through the creature and kill the two Strays.
"Use Shadow Ball!" The Virtual Pokemon formed a blob of darkness with it's arms, then lobbed it at the spear, causing an explosion that destroyed both attacks. Angered by this, the man threw three more Light Spears. "It doesn't matter how many attacks you use. Porygon-Z will just erase them all! Now, use Tri Attack!" Orbs of ice, electricity, and fire spun around Porygon-Z's body. They then shot at the spears, hitting two and narrowly missing the third. Thankfully, it didn't strike Porygon-Z.
Hearing an exclamation of pain, Francesca turned around to see Hyoudou impaled on the spear that Tri Attack missed.
"Hurts, doesn't it? Light is a deadly poison to your species, after all." the man said.
'So, looks like he isn't human anymore.' Francesca realized as she watch Hyoudou try to remove the spear from his body. "I won't let you get away with that. Psychic, now!" Porygon-Z's eyes began glowing as a powerful telekinetic force pushed down on the trenchcoat man, trapping the lower half of his body in the pavement. "Stay down, ingrate." Francesca said, glaring at her opponent. She was about to call out another Move when a summoning circle appeared near Hyoudou. 'I was wondering when she'd show up.' the blonde said to herself, smiling in anticipation.
"Don't lay a finger on him." Rias said as she stepped out of the circle. When she saw Porygon-Z and Francesca, her eyes widened in surprise.
"Who the hell are you?" the man asked as he pulled himself out of the pit. He then prepared another Light Spear. He threw the weapon at Rias, intending to kill her. Just before the spear struck her, a white haired girl jumped in front of her and deflected the attack with a magic circle. Furious, the man rushed at both of them with a Light Spear. He was stopped abruptly by a massive lightning bolt, as well as Porygon-Z's Zap Cannon.
Akeno and the Virtual Pokemon looked at eachother for a moment, both astounded at the other's proficiency with electric attacks. Francesca smiled at this interaction. Her scowl returned once she turned back to the man in the trenchcoat. "Do you still have the balls to fight us all? If so, I will gladly sear them off." she threatened, forming a ball of flame in her hand as her eye glowed red.
"You must be from the Gremory Family." the man said, referring to Rias. The red hair was a dead giveaway.
"Rias Gremory. And how are you, my dear Fallen Angel?" the girl introduced.
"Oh, wow." the man said, dusting off his hat. The paralysis left behind by Zap Cannon made it an ordeal, though. "Who knew this was the jurisdiction of the Gremory Family's heiress apparent? Are these two of your household?"
"Yes. If you bring either of them any further harm, you'll answer to me." Rias said.
"Well, then. I apologize for today." the man said, bowing his head slightly. "But you'd better not let your servants run free. Someone like me might just hunt them down on his midnight walk."
"Try me, puttana." Francesca challenged. Knowing how stubborn it's trainer could be, Porygon-Z used Psychic to hold her in place. "Meh, no fair." she said, pouting.
"Thank you for the most helpful advice." Rias said, feigning calmness. "Let me give you a warning as well. I will not let you off scot-free if you do something like this again."
"Same to you, heiress apparent of the Gremory Family." the Fallen Angel said before taking flight. "My name is Donhaseek. Hope we never face eachother again." And just and eerily as he appeared, the man vanished in a flash of black light. Once he was gone, Porygon-Z released it's hold on Francesca.
"Well, that was a thing." the trainer said as she sent Porygon-Z back to it's Poke Ball. Turning to Rias, she addressed the Dark Elemental. "I was wondering when we'd finally cross paths. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Gremory." She held out her hand for the girl to shake.
A splat noise followed by roaring laughter was the last thing anyone could've heard in the park that night.
