Random Q: What do we think of the sexy yet mysterious CEO?

Chapter 2

This man was drop-dead gorgeous, and I bet my eyes were fucking him already; I just simply didn't care. My brain switched to my surroundings as the song Latch from Disclosure blurted out from the speakers. My body swayed again, not losing the eyes of the tall, handsome man. His grin got more comprehensive as I rocked my hips more.

I found myself moving closer to him slowly. He was still a bit away, and the crowds pushing everywhere helped me get closer. I bit my lip as I saw him shifting his weight to his other leg, his eyes still locked.

I feel we're close enough

I wanna lock in your love

I think we're close enough

Could I lock in your love, baby?

Sam Smith sang loudly. Finally, the stranger took a few steps forward and immediately grabbed my hips; he twirled me around, my back against him. My hips swayed against his, and his hand caressed my upper arm slowly. I let out a small moan from the sudden contact.

Now I got you in my space

I won't let go of you

Got you shackled in my embrace

I'm latching on to you

I threw my head back, resting it against his shoulder as his nose moved into my neck. He smelled me, I usually would be disgusted, but it turned me on. His lips moving down my neck made me all knotted up inside.

I'm so encaptured; it got me wrapped up in your touch

Feel so enamored; hold me tight within your clutch

I pushed my hips back harder as he breathed down my neck. I felt his arousal through his pants, and I felt myself getting wet from the thought. This handsome stranger was just as aroused by me as by him.

How do you do it? You got me losing every breath.

What did you give me to make my heart beat out of my chest?

Our hips rocked together, and the desperate need to feel him grew bigger. As he was grinding against me, I closed my eyes. Enjoying every second of it.

I feel we're close enough

I wanna lock in your love

I think we're close enough

Could I lock in your love, baby?

He nibbled my neck softly, and I felt a soft moan escaping my lips. As the sound came out, I felt his mouth curl up in a smirk. He was clearly teasing me. I moved my hips in harder, a soft huff escaping his mouth. I felt cocky teasing him back, and my self-awareness rose even more.

My arm reached up and curled around his neck as he kissed my neck gently. I took in his scent; he smelled like cinnamon and vanilla, dark but still sensual. He grabbed my hip with both his hands firmly. We moved to the music till the song's end, his face and mouth in my neck.

When the song ended and switched over to the next, I felt his body leaving me, and I turned to find nobody there. He completely vanished from sight. My heart dropped along with my self-consciousness, feeling kind of bumped that he left me there, no clue who he was.

My hand was taken from behind, and I turned to find Jacob holding it. He pouted at me and frowned. "Who was that?" I shook my head, clearly not able to answer his question.

The night dragged along. We had more cocktails and had a few laughs with James. We broke down on the dancefloor a few more times and decided to go home at four in the morning. I never saw the handsome stranger again that night.

When I woke up, the whole night felt like a haze. The gorgeous stranger pushed some buttons I had lost along the way. It's been a couple of months since I really had sex... and with a couple, I mean like - MONTHS. It felt weird setting back into particular desires in such a short time.

I dragged my sore body out of bed to get in my jogging pants with a way too big jumper from Jacob. Which ultimately was very cute. It has a giant koala saying, 'too cute to handle.' Jacob received it from his aunt but felt a little too old to wear it, so I snatched it when he wanted to throw it out and lived in it every day around the house.

Sunday faded quickly; we watched a movie; Jacob couldn't shut up about James, drank some wine, and ordered Chinese take-out.

"That guy was seriously hot, Bella." Jacob wiggled his eyebrows at me once we settled down for dinner.

I couldn't lie to Jacob, the ravishing stranger was stuck in my mind for the whole day now, and it was seriously getting annoying. It felt like I had unfinished business since he left me alone on the dance floor.

"He was, but he left so abruptly, though. One moment it felt like it was just us in that club, and the next, he's gone, kind of an asshole move if you ask me." Jacob nodded, clearly agreeing with me on the matter.

"He did have moves tho." I bit my lip thinking about the dancing or dry sex, and dancing was too innocent to call it.

"I bet he could fuck." A blush spread on my cheeks. "I bet he can," I replied to Jacob as I slurped up some noodles.

Jacob had a cheeky grin, placing his hand on his hands, eyeing me suspiciously. "What?" I questioned him.

"You like him. You want him, Bella." I blushed deeper, my face getting warm. Damn this body; I wish my body language wasn't always so clear.

"How can I like someone I just met? I don't even know his fucking name." I rolled my eyes at Jacob but couldn't help grinning a little.

"Doesn't matter; you had a connection. Maybe I'll be able to ask James who he was." I shook my head franticly. "Please don't do that; like I said, he was a total a-hole for leaving me there."

"You could use the fuck, though. Get Sam out of your system." He pointed his fork at me with a severe look.

"Sam is out of my system Jake." I frowned at his words. Yes, Sam was the last person I had sex with, and yes, it didn't end well. But I was clearly already over him. Otherwise, I wouldn't dry hump a total stranger like that.

"Whatever, Bells, you say A, I say B, you're not over him; you were hurt, so you have every right to still be angry."

He was right. My relationship with Sam was very unhealthy, and even though it had been months, it still stung once his name was mentioned. Jacob didn't even know the whole story about us breaking up, and he would have broken every bone in his body if he did know.

We spend the rest of the night talking about my first day at Cullen Enterprise. Jacob mentioned how the CEO was a very wealthy businessman of our age. He also remarked that it probably was compensation for an ugly figure with a tiny dick.

I packed some lunch for the next day and laid out my clothes. Some black, partially see-through tights, a blue skirt with a black top, and a matching blue jacket. I got some blue pumps as well to match the whole outfit.

My alarm went off at 6:30 AM, and I had to be at the office at 8:00. I dressed and did my make-up, putting on a slight blush, some eyeliner with mascara, and a little color for my lips.

My hair was back up in a high ponytail with some loose curls, and I put on the outfit I had laid out the day before. I grabbed my black bag and put in the lunch I had prepped.

I put my pumps in the bag and took my Niké walking shoes to the office. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and took off.

Walking was 20 minutes, and the busy streets of New York had some lovely vibes to them. I wasn't used to crowded places or big cities after coming from a small town like Forks.

I walked into the building and scanned the entrance card through the small gates leading to the elevators. I pushed the button and took in my surroundings. It was early morning, not many people were around, and except for the security guard, I was the only one in the lobby.

As the elevator stopped in front of me, I stepped in; I dropped myself on one knee and started to take off my shoelaces. Forgetting to press the button, I stood back up and pressed the button for the sixth floor.

As I took my shoes off, the elevator doors started to close, only to be stopped by a suitcase between them.

The doors opened back up, and as I looked up, still wiggling my Niké's off, I looked in the dazzling jade of the handsome stranger from the club.

His eyes grew narrow as he took me in; a certain spark was there once, and a vast grin spread on his face.

His eyes glowing lower, my neck, chest, hips, and then a bite on his lip. I sucked in the air and felt a strong jolt in my stomach.

He walked into the elevator as I stood back up. Quickly replacing my Niké's in my hand with my heels and putting them on carefully.

"Goodmorning, Isabella." He said with cumulative confidence. "Goodmorning -" I'd love to continue, but how did he know my name and I didn't know his?

He turned to me and represented his hand in front of me. A smile lit up his handsome face. His strong jawline was perfectly shaved, and his vanilla cinnamon smell was just as present as the last time.

"Edward Cullen." His voice was smooth and silky, and I wondered what it would sound like if he'd moaned my name softly for a second.

"Shit." His brows rose, and I bit my lip, groaning at myself for cursing loudly. I took his hand, a full blush on my cheeks. "Sorry, nice to meet you," I said in a low whisper.

Shit, shit, SHIT! This guy or, well, godlike creature, is my boss? And not just my boss, but the CEO of the company?! As he turned his back to me again and pressed the button for the twelfth floor, I rolled my eyes at the ceiling.

I quickly packed the Niké's in my bag once my heels were on my feet.

"You walked here?" He asked me as the elevator rose up. I bit my lip. I didn't think we would make small talk; I'd preferably be left in the awkwardness.

"Yes, it's only 20 minutes." He hummed at my words, but that was it. The doors chimed open on the sixth floor, and he stepped forward in front of the door and turned his side to me.

"Hope you have a first good day, Isabella." He said with sincerity but also with certain darkness in his voice.

I nodded and pursed my lips together. I walked past him and turned on my heel. "Thank you, Mr. Cullen," I said with flustered cheeks. He stepped back in the elevator, one side of his lips curled up in the corner.

The doors closed on him, and it was at that moment I noticed I stopped breathing. I finally let go of my chest that was stuck and sighed deeply.

"That's a deep sigh." I turned to meet a tall, dark, slightly older man. He had light brown eyes and long black hair stuck in a low ponytail. A light suit hugged his body. A smile spread on his face.

"You must be Isabella; I'm Laurent." I took his hand and offered it; he grabbed it firmly, his white teeth shining bright. "Nice to finally meet you, Laurent," I replied to him.

"Good to have a face to the voice." He said as he let go of my hand, and I smiled and nodded in agreement.

"So let me show you to your office." I followed him in. "Here's your desk." He opened the door to a small office. It was enough space for me, though.

"I'm just across from you; I'm going to let you set up your email and find your way around, come find me when you think you've set up; we'll discuss daily schedules and stuff like that."

"Thank you." I smiled at him and walked in, the office had dark green walls, and there was one big black and white painting of a tiger in a suit. It had some charm to it. Big windows looked over the streets of busy New York.

I sat down behind the desk and started up the computer. I had two screens, a telephone, and a Sonos soundbar to connect to my mobile phone to play my own music directly from Spotify. Clearly, the office was making good money.

I set up everything internet-wise; once I opened my new email, I immediately noticed an email from Edward Cullen sent ten minutes ago.

'Isabella Swan, welcome to Cullen Enterprise.

I hope you have an excellent first day and that you'll love the company as much as I do. If you have any complaints feel free to contact my secretary to set up a meeting.

With kind regards,

Edward Cullen

CEO'

Shivers ran down my spine as the memory of us dancing flirted back into my head. Did he send this email to every new employee, or was he just worried I might have issues with our meeting before?

I replied to the email; if he had issues, he must know I wasn't the kind of girl to take advantage of a personal mishap with the CEO of a company; he must think I'm some slut who'd leak information for money or something. Maybe that's why he left me on the dance floor?

'Mr. Cullen.

First of all, thank you for your welcome message. If I have any complaints regarding my work, I'll first talk to Laurent since he would be my direct supervisor. If I have any other complaints, I'll contact your secretary and follow up with a meeting.

If you have any concerns with me, please let me know so we can discuss this properly.

With kind regards,

Bella Swan.'

I stood up and walked to Laurents office, which was directly across from mine. I knocked carefully and peeked around the corner.

His eyes lit up, and a broad smile grew. "Bella, come in, sit down, girl."

I smiled back and closed the door behind me. "Did you set up everything so far?" I nodded.

"Well then, I guess it's time for lunch; let's go out, have a drink, get to know one another."

"That would be lovely," I replied. Laurent and I had spoken over the phone already a couple of times; my interview was over the phone as well since I wasn't living close by. So it kind of felt like I knew him already.

"Okay, grab your stuff, and let's go." I nodded and paced to my office to grab my bag and phone. Checked my email real quick to find a reply from Edward.

'Isabella,

You're very welcome. For now, I don't have any concerns about you other than that I'd like to set up a meeting to adequately meet each other. Can you contact my secretary to set up an appointment?

With kind regards,

Edward Cullen

CEO.'
