Disclaimer: I don't own yu yu hakusho

Note: One of my first fics that I wrote about five years ago. I have taken the time to edit it and hopefully pep it up a bit.

Hiei ran through the forest searching desperately for any signs of his beloved sister. She had gone to gather firewood in the forest and hadn't returned. They waited as long as they could, hoping she had just lost track of time in her search for wood and would return any minute. Hiei had been the most anxious to search for her, he knew it had been a bad idea to let her go alone. Now he was the only one searching while the others waited nervously back at their campsite. Of course Kuwabara volunteered to help, but Hiei had argued that they didn't need another person lost in the woods before he took off into the woods. Hiei's heart beat fast. The sun was setting. It would be dark soon and it would be harder to find Yukina after the sun was gone. No matter, he had to keep looking for her. He would never be able to forgive himself if anything had happened to her. He was already beating himself up for not following her in the first place.

In the distance he heard a wolf howling. The hair on the back of his neck stood up. What if a demon had gotten her? Plenty of demons would want her for her tear gems, and he wouldn't put it past many of them to have been keeping their eyes on her, waiting for the right moment to strike. She could be long gone in some filthy prison by now. He had been looking for her for over an hour. What if she had somehow hurt herself and couldn't make it back to camp? Hiei tried to reassure himself that was all that had happened to her, but more pessimistic thoughts flooded his mind. What if his first instinct was right and she had been captured by some greedy demon for her tear gems? The last thought angered Hiei more than anything and he ran faster through the woods. He ran faster and faster, his heart pounding harder and harder. There remained no sign of her. Where the hell was she?

Suddenly Hiei stopped. He took off the bandana that covered his Jagan eye and then continued running. Hopefully he would be able to find her now. If something happened to her he would never forgive himself. Suddenly, his Jagan showed that she was nearby. He ran even faster. His heart pounding faster and harder in his head with each step he took. Then, he reached the clearing where she was located

.
He slowly walked forward, his katana in hand ready to slash through anything that posed a threat to him or Yukina. He walked a little faster, afraid of the condition he might find his sister in, but almost ready to explode from suspense When he saw his sister in the clearing, a bolt of shock surged through his body. There in the clearing, Yukina was laying motionlessly. Her eyes were closed and she looked serene. She had merely fallen asleep. Relief flooded through him as walked toward her to wake her up.

THE END

That was just a short story I had to write in English and I decided to post it so sorry if it was kind of odd. Well tell me what you thought of it anyway!
