Here we go with chapter three or rather chapter 50. I hope everyone is ready for this chapter. Also, yes, I saw the finale of the Clone Wars. Fuck, if I had known how things would have gone, I would have waited to do this crossover long ago. So many ideas, but not got to go with what I have.
Oh well, live and learn. Anyways, it was a fun finale and I hope everyone liked it. As much as I hope you all love this next chapter as we get closer to the events of Arkham City. So, last time we saw the introduction of Catwoman. Not a good night for her huh?
We also saw what happened with the Clones after retirement. Also, yeah Fives is alive here. So, he isn't dead and now works with Rex and Cody. Who else is working for Abigail though?
Will the Clones play a role in the upcoming fight? Will things be different from the game since its set in Star Wars? Will we also see some more familiar faces? I'm not spoiling this for you guys, so read on to find out.

Story III: Chapter III
Coruscant
It was now time. It was time for the meeting to begin with senators from different parts of the galaxy coming together. To discuss about ending Arkham City and stop Chancellor Sharp from expanding his prison to other planets. It was a risk for the senators who stand against the chancellor, but there is a growing fear that with what is going on right now will cause their people to rebel. Rebel against their cities being used for a prison and anyone who speak against the prison will be locked up.
Their freedom taken away and their voices silenced. Padme is the one leading the charge to end this, and she is hoping to convince the senators to go along with her.
Padme heads down the elevator with Abigail and her bodyguard Tatsu Yamashiro. They planned to take a transport ship to help take them to the Senate. Padme is just thankful Ahsoka came over to keep an eye on the kids. They had planned for them to go to the Jedi Temple, but perhaps it was safer for them to be at Abby's place than anywhere else.
Once they made it down the elevator, she sees Captain Rex wearing his new Clone armor suit. His armor looked the same as the one he had before, except it was black and white with the Wayne symbol on the side of his shoulder pad.
Rex though wasn't alone. With him are Commander Cody, Fives, and Echo. Thanks to Daniel, they were able to find Echo after he was sold to the Penguin by the Techno-Union. Cobblepot was hoping to use his information to help him and his Separatist allies during the Clone Wars. However, Daniel, Ahsoka, Rex, and a team of Clones were able to break him free.
Once the war was over, Echo got a job offer to work for Abigail. Provided of course he got his friends a job too.
Rex sees the others have arrived and smiles. "Ms. Amidala, Ms. Wayne, and Ms. Yamashiro, welcome. Is it time to go?"
Abigail nods in response as Tatsu pushes her wheelchair. "All preparations have been made?"
Rex nods as he turns to his team. "Echo, Fives and Cody have gotten the ship ready. They also agreed to stay behind and keep an eye on things here."
"You aren't coming with us, Commander Cody?" Padme asked surprised Obi Wan's former commander isn't coming along.
"I'd like to, but I figure Rex and the rest of the team is more than enough to keep an eye on everyone," said Cody who didn't feel right leaving the building unprotected without a few Clones sticking around. "Don't worry. The team that were picked for this are the best. Want to meet them?"
Padme nods in response as she sees four armored Clones appeared. Their armor was different from that of Rex and the other Clones. From the color being red and white, skull symbols on their shoulder pads, and each armor appearing for different sizes.
Padme took notice of how these Clones seem different from the others, especially when they removed their helmets to reveal their appearance.
"I've never met these Clones before," said Padme knowing when she was chancellor, she met almost every Clone units within the Republic army, but these are not like the Clones she's met before.
"That's because these Clones are a ragtag unite of Clone Commandos. They are defective Clones with, uh…desirable mutation. But don't let their looks fool you. They are one of the best squads I've had the privilege of working with and are one of the best," Rex explained as he introduces Padme to the team. "This their leader Sergeant Hunter, the big guy is Wrecker, the one with the goggles is Tech, and the last one is Crosshair."
Padme sees the Clones approach them and greets the four men. "It's an honor to meet you all. I remember hearing about your team and how you are considered one of the best of the Republic. If I recall correctly, you were there on Mandalore to help liberate it, correct?"
Sergeant Hunter nods as he speaks up for the team. "Yes, we were ma'am. We fought alongside the Mandalorians to help defeat Maul and his army."
"Oh yeah, it was a lot of fun," said Wrecker as he recalls some of their battles that day. "I remember we went up against a battalion of droids on our own. I remember they surrounded us, but we managed to blow up every single one of them."
"It was a glorious day, until the war ended, and the Republic didn't have much use for us," said Crosshair recalling how they ended up being hired as mercenaries to handle secret missions for Cadmus. And how in one of their missions they were left for dead.
"Luckily for us, Ms. Abigail hired us for her security team. Not just to protect the facilities of her company across the galaxy, but to also take care of any criminal activities as well," Tech explained and is glad for it since the Batman saved them from being killed.
"That's why I contacted them. If Thrawn or Sharp try anything then we'll have some backup," said Abigail who is glad that the Bad Batch are coming with them. "I hope this is okay?"
Padme didn't have any issue with this since she knew this is a good move on Abigail's part. "I don't mind this at all. Although, I am hopeful that we won't run into any sort of trouble. Sharp knows if anything happens to me before the meeting then it will likely cause a lot of trouble for him. Considering how the public trust me more than they trust him."
Abigail knew what Padme says is true. The public are actually in full support of Padme and if she is killed off before this meeting then it will look bad for Sharp. Since it will indicate he was involved in any attack against her. But still, she can't take the risk of Sharp hiring someone else like he did with Deadshot.
"Well, let's get going then and let's hope this meeting will go well," said Abigail as they begin heading towards the ship.
As the Clones go inside first, Padme stops and turns to Abigail. "By the way, any word from Daniel? Is he going to meet us at the Senate?"
"Oh, he'll be there. Don't worry," said Abigail as she is pushed towards the ship before turning to her friend who raised an eyebrow at her. "Nothing to worry about. He just said he'll meet us there and plans to full support you."
Padme knew if this is true then Abigail wouldn't have brought this up. She knew now that the siblings are up to something. Whatever it is she didn't like it and can only hope it won't get Daniel in trouble. The last thing she wants to see is someone she cares about getting hurt.
Meanwhile
At the Jedi Temple, the Council had finished their meeting about the upcoming Senate meeting and how they will need to be ready if something happens. Ever since the war ended, the Jedi went back to their old duties. Helping keep peace in the galaxy and handling any conflict that may arise. However, when Chancellor Sharp took over, he began making sure the Jedi didn't get involved in any more diplomatic actives or are to get involved in dealing with criminals.
Sharp instead gave authority over this to Thrawn and his TYGER guards. This didn't sit well with the Jedi since they knew the TYGER guards were didn't follow the rules and end up injuring the prisoners. There were even stories going on how they torture the prisoners and even bring them in to be experimented on. However, with no evidence to back this up and with Sharp protecting the TYGER guards the Jedi can't do anything to stop them.
Not unless they can prove their illegal activities. For now? The Jedi are sending Obi-Wan Kenobi to the Senate to protect Padme Amidala and Abigail Wayne. Just in case Thrawn's men show up or if another assassin attempts to kill them.
They had sent what happened earlier in the day to the chancellor, but he dismissed it and didn't feel like Padme needed protection.
Once the meeting ended, Obi-Wan left with Master Yoda as the two head towards the hanger bay while they talked.
"This contact you mentioned before. Alive is she?" Master Yoda asked as he walked alongside Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan nods in response. "She's been keeping a low-profile ever since what happened last month. Before she went dark, she told me that Thrawn was the one that chose the location of where the prison would be build. Sharp apparently had intended to have it build off-world. But Thrawn insisted it would be on Coruscant and in this location."
Obi-Wan shows Master Yoda through a hologram where Arkham City was built, while showing Wonder Tower being in the center. "He apparently made it clear the tower was build here, which leads to the lower levels. She doesn't know why, but apparently it was very important."
"Hmm, know something Thrawn does. Hidden something there is in the lower levels," said Master Yoda, who knew there is no way of knowing what it could be. "Find out we must what Thrawn is planning. Without them finding out what we know."
Obi-Wan nods in agreement. "We've been trying to send one of our own undercover, but we were warned that Thrawn has a DNA-Analyzer that has the database of every citizen and criminal in the system."
"Including our own," said Master Yoda who knew that even if they changed the appearance of one of their own, they couldn't change their DNA. "Another plan I hope you have?"
Obi-Wan sighed softly as they stood in front of the entrance to the hanger. "We're working on it. But in the meantime, we can only hope that Padme will be able to convince the Senate to side with her to shut down Arkham City. Do you believe this meeting will help convince the Senate to turn on Sharp?"
Master Yoda looked unsure since he knew with what Thrawn's mercenaries have been doing have helped keep the senators in check. "Fear is a powerful tool used for control. Not just by our enemies, but even by those in politics it seems. Fear can make the strong submit and help break the will of those who fight for what is right…
Master Yoda looks out the temple to see the Senate building and sighed softly before looking up at Obi-Wan. "But those who use fear are the ones who have more to lose. Against those that believe, that fight, and have hope. Padme is who Sharp fears. He knows she is not afraid, she still believes, she will fight, and bring hope back."
Obi-Wan knew Padme has ways of convincing the people to side with her. She is seen as the champion of the people. Someone who isn't corrupted and someone that will fight for the people no matter what. She can inspire them to stand against tyranny and bring freedom back.
"Then I better make sure nothing happens to keep her from going through with the meeting," said Obi-Wan who knows he has to keep Padme safe and make sure she makes it.
Master Yoda nods in agreement as the transport ship appears ready to take Obi-Wan to the Senate. "Take great care, Master Kenobi. Keep your mind clear and watch for any signs of trouble."
"I will and thank you master," Obi-Wan nods in response as he goes to the ship. "I'll contact you if anything happens."
Once he boards the ship it begins preparing to take off, with Master Yoda looking on. "Good luck, Master Kenobi and may the Force be with you."
Soon, the ship begins taking off and heads towards the Senate building. All while Master Yoda watched on as Master Shaak Ti walked in to speak with the Jedi Master.
"I assume, you didn't tell him what the Council wanted to ask him?" Master Shaak Ti asked as she gets no response from the elder Jedi Master, but she knew what his response was. "You know we need to ask him to speak with Ms. Amidala about her children. If the vision you saw is true then…"
Master Yoda turns to Master Shaak Ti and shook his head. "Speak with him I will when this is over. For now, prepare we must," he lets out a small groan and looks back outside as the hanger doors begin to close. "I sense that tonight, chaos will be unleashed."
Later
The transport ship carrying Padme, Abigail, Tatsu, and the Clones soon began to arrive to the Senate building. As the ship began to arrive, the Clones took notice of how many of their former brothers there were all standing outside of the Senate building. After the war, many Clones were reassigned to different positions.
Half of them remained part of the military branch. Whether they became instructors or are assigned to work with younger recruits as captains. While, other Clones like the ones outside of the Senate building are given jobs as guards. As for the rest?
They chose retirement. To live out their lives to raise a family and live a normal life. Without ever worrying about fighting again. It was the kind of life Rex had trouble adjusting to, like Cody, Fives, and the Bad Batch.
Hunter walks in the cockpit to see the ships that are arriving to the building. "Looks like everyone showing up like Ms. Wayne said they would."
"Well, she did pester the hell out of many of them for days to show up to this event," said Tech as he flies the ship along with Echo. "Imagine if they didn't show up."
"Would have been fine if those that didn't show up were the ones that sided with Sharp," said Rex knowing if the senators who were on Sharp's side didn't show up, this would have made voting against him much easier. "Still, once we land, we'll be ordered to stay outside. Sharp won't allow any droids much less any Clones enter the building, armed."
"I guess he wants to make sure Ms. Amidala won't have any sort of protection," said Hunter figuring that's what Sharp is up to. "Still, we shouldn't worry too much about that. They'll have Katana with them, and she'll make sure nothing bad happens to them."
"And if anything does happen, we'll be ready," said Echo as they begin flying the ship making sure no one was following them. "By the way, didn't Mr. Wayne say he was going to set up a meeting with the press?"
"Something like that," said Hunter who heard two different versions of what Mr. Wayne is going to do. "I wouldn't worry about it though. He isn't like the rich pompous snobs we had to save before."
Rex knew that much was true. "Let's hope so. Just remember, we need to keep an eye out and make sure not to lower our guard for anything."
"I hear that," said Tech as he begins receiving a message from the security force of the Senate that everything is cleared. "You may want to let Ms. Wayne we're here."
Rex and Hunter nod as they begin to leave the cockpit to go inform the women they are here. They know they will need to figure out how they are going to do this. Obviously, they won't be able to enter the building with the women. So, they'll need to have a team on standby outside of the building if things go south.
Echo and Tech will have to remain on the ship to get things ready for takeoff. They'll have Wrecker and Crosshair by the ship to make sure no one tries to go inside. This will leave Rex and Hunter stay outside of the building. More near the entrance with the rest of the guards.
This way, they can be ready to run in if anything bad happens. Sure, they'll need to get through the guards, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Once they arrived to the door, they see Tatsu exiting the room. "Is everything all right?" she asked.
Rex nods in response. "We're just about to land. I assume they're ready?" he asked.
Tatsu nods in response before turning to Hunter. "Ms. Wayne, wants to know if you heard anything from Mr. Wayne."
Hunter shook his head in response. "All I know is he was on his way. But I haven't heard anything yet. Maybe he's still in hyperspace?"
"Yes…hyperspace," Tatsu knew that wasn't it.
If he was on his way he'd already be here. Ms. Wayne knew this and she knows her brother would have called her to let her know he's here.
Rex took notice of how Tatsu seemed to be bothered by something. "Is everything all right?"
Tatsu turns to the two soldiers and shook her head. "Please inform the men not to bring with them any automatic blasters. Only blaster pistols. Also, no detonators either. Please have Wrecked checked out before he steps foot off this ship."
"Will do, ma'am," said Hunter as he begins to leave, while Rex stood by, which caught the attention of Hunter. "You coming?"
Rex turns to Hunter and then back to Tatsu before he begins following Hunter. "Is it just me or did she seem bothered when you mentioned Mr. Wayne hasn't arrived yet?"
Hunter shrugs it off since he didn't think this was a problem. "I wouldn't worry about it. From what I heard he does this a lot. Maybe he's getting things ready for his little press conference. Either that or he's picking up a date for him to bring along."
Rex shook his head in response. "I don't know. I know he's considered a playboy that dates a lot of women, but I think with what his going on he would do something like bring a date."
"Maybe, but all I know is right now we need to focus on the mission at hand. Let the security team he hired handle whatever is going on," said Hunter knowing that Mr. Wayne has his own team to take care of him if anything happens.
Rex figured Hunter is right. If something was wrong then Ms. Wayne would have let them know. If nothing is wrong, then nothing is wrong. But then again, with all the time he had spent with General Skywalker, he couldn't help but feel something else is going on.
Something they aren't seeing.
Meanwhile
Once Tatsu came back into the room, she began explaining to Abigail and Padme what happened. How they are arriving to the building and the Clones are going to go over everything before they leave the ship. She also found out they received no word from Daniel. This was starting to make Padme worry since she knew her brother wouldn't do something like this unless he is doing something, he knows will piss her off.
"You told me your brother is planning some sort of announcement, right? Do you know exactly what it is?" Padme asked as she stood up from her seat and begins pacing around the room.
"Like I said. I don't know," Abby replied being truthful that she doesn't know what her brother is up to. "Most likely its to support your call to shut down the prison. Other than that, I don't know what he plans to say."
All she really knows is her brother is working on something to help him find out what Thrawn is up to. She would ask more, but she knew her brother wanted her to know less about this plan. If Thrawn or Sharp find out about this then she'll get in trouble too. Leading to them taking control of the company.
So, the less she knew the better. But Padme though, she could tell wasn't buying this.
"Look, don't worry too much about it. I'm sure Daniel won't do anything reckless. What you need to focus on right now is the meeting," Abby decided to try moving this on and keep her friend's mind off Daniel. "Now then, you know exactly what your going to say?"
Padme sighed knowing what Abby is doing, but she knew she's right. She needs to focus on her speech and make sure it all goes perfectly.
"I know what I'm going to say. I've been working on this for weeks. I've had Ahsoka come over with Lux to help me care for the children so I can focus on my speech. I've even had them gather testimonies from the citizens who have been affected by Sharp's rule," Padme sighed as she looks at her holopad to see her speech and what she wrote.
"Hopefully this will be enough," said Abigail as she was concerned on whatever Sharp has planned to counter their argument. "We also need to prove the prison city is not going to keep the citizens safe. Just don't bring up the citizens being kidnapped and thrown in the prison."
Padme wanted to bring it up, but she knew if she did then Sharp would accuse her of accusing Thrawn and him without any proof. Padme knows he'll do whatever it takes to make himself look strong. Even if it means lying and insulting her. Just like the people he surrounds himself with.
"Not unless you and your brother found something I can use," said Padme who knew they probably do have something, but how she got the information is the problem.
"I would, but you would have to explain to Sharp how you got the information and attack Batman. Blaming him for what happened in Arkham Asylum," even though Abigail knows that was Sharp, Luthor, and Cadmus' fault. "For right now, we have to make use with what we have."
"Its all we can do," said Padme as she looks over her speech and sighed with a look of concerned on her face. "My only concern if it will be enough to convince the senators, especially from those who are afraid of speaking out against him."
Abby knew it wasn't Sharp they feared. It was more with Thrawn. Abby knew Thrawn was the one the senators feared the most because of how he can figure out ways to get to them. Without having to send his men after them.
Thrawn is smart. Dangerously smart. He seems to always be one-step ahead of everyone else and knows how to get in their heads. Oh sure, he claims what he does is in the best interest of the Republic.
To help it remain strong, to make sure any weakness is taken care of, and do whatever it takes to ensure the Republic remains in control. That's why she knows Sharp is a puppet and is easy to manipulate. As for Tarkin and Waller, they seem to be the ones keeping Thrawn in control…or at least, she believes they are.
But she knew Thrawn is the one the senators fear the most. She just hope Padme's speech will help break through that fear and help the people stand up against him.
"I'm sure it will be fine," said Abby as she placed her hand on her friend's shoulder. "You have ways of breaking through to people and your bravery will help inspire others to do the same, especially right now when they need that help. Sharp and Thrawn have done a good job bringing fear to the galaxy. Making them believe their way will help bring peace, even if it means giving up our freedom to do so."
Abby knew though that peace can never be achieved by using fear and hatred to control. It must be achieved by uniting the people together, fight for a common goal, and have people who will stand by with them.
"You can do this. Not only do I believe in you, but so does everyone else. Even Daniel believes in you," said Abby knowing Padme can get this done and convince the people to side with her.
Padme stood up from her seat and walks near the door. "When I became chancellor, I used my position to help the people. To help rebuild from the war and restore power back to the Senate. I did it so I can help regain the trust of the people. To show them that the democracy in the Republic wasn't dead."
She then turns to Abigail and smiled a little. "I had you, Daniel, and the others to thank as well in keeping criminals from running amuck. From causing too much trouble until I passed the power on to Mothma. I since then retired hoping to become a mother and raise my children together. All the while, I can trust you all to keep the galaxy safe and help the Jedi restore balance."
But then Thrawn and Sharp came in causing trouble in the galaxy. Causing people to lose faith and trust in the Republic.
"I vowed once I stepped away, I would not get involved again in politics. But now? I can't let what Thrawn and Sharp get away with hurting the innocent anymore," Padme now looked very confident and ready for her meeting. "And with all of you who believe in me by my side I'll help convince everyone to help restore order again."
"That's the spirit," said Abby as she turns to Tatsu. "Let's get going. I'm sure by now we've already landed, and the men should be finishing inspecting the ship."
"Yes, my lady," said Tatsu as she walks over and begins helping push Abigail's seat.
Abigail then turns to Padme and took her hand. "Just remember, whatever happens know we're here with you and we'll make sure nothing bad happens."
Padme nods knowing Abigail, Daniel, and the others will make sure everything goes well. Sure, she doesn't know what Daniel is up to, but she knows he wouldn't do something so reckless.
They begin exiting the ship with Wrecker and Crosshair staying by the ship. All while Rex and Hunter escort Padme, Abigail, and Tatsu to the Senate building. To their surprise they see a lot of reporters trying to get an interview with the women. However, Rex and Hunter kept them back since they knew they didn't trust the reporters.
So, they led the women through the group of reporters who were trying to ask them questions. However, the Clones kept them back and made their way towards the Senate building. As they got closer, they see the Senate guards stepping in to help keep the press back. This helped the Clones get the women out of the mob of reporters as they go near the entrance.
"I've never seen this many reporters before," said Padme knowing even after she retired as chancellor and was pregnant she didn't have this many reporters bothering her.
"Can you blame them?" Abigail asked as she fixes her hair. "This is an important meeting and if it goes well then Arkham City will be shutdown. So, of course there would be many of these reporters out here."
"I suppose that is true," said Padme as she hears one of the reporters calling for her and she recognized her. "Abigail, isn't that Vicki Vale?"
Abigail and sees it is indeed Vicki. She hasn't seen her since the Joker incident in Arkham Asylum. "It is and I bet she's here for an interview. Maybe we can give her an exclusive once the meeting is over."
"Are you sure about that?" Padme asked knowing talking a reporter doesn't always go well, especially those who try twisting their words.
"Don't worry. Unlike a lot of these vultures, Vicki has a lot of credibility and like you is the voice for the people," said Abigail knowing Vicki Vale can be trusted to get the word out.
"Maybe later. Right now, we need to…" suddenly Padme noticed the reporters beginning to head towards what seems to be a podium with some armed guards. "What's going on over there?"
"I'm not sure," said Abigail until she sees a familiar vehicle arriving. "Looks like Daniel has arrived."
Padme sees the vehicle and knew it is Daniel. She was surprised he is going through with this and couldn't help but get worried. She knows he is here to support her and speak out against the prison. But she knows there is more to this.
She knows Daniel and Abigail are up to something. But what is it? What are they not telling her? And why do they have to keep it from her?
All she can do is just stand by and watch Daniel exit his vehicle before heading to the podium as the reporters begin going live with their reporting.
"This is Vicki Vale reporting live from the Senate, where there is a meeting being placed to discuss the controversial super prison build in the heart Coruscant," Vicki Vale stood near the podium as her producing team show a hologram of the prison city. "In a few moments, Daniel Wayne will be live on stage to explain his sudden interest in the Republic politics. The infamous playboy millionaire has never been one to…
"It's billionaire, Vicki," said Daniel as he walks by the reporter. "Millionaires are so last year."
Daniel goes up to the podium as he took notice of his sister and Padme. They weren't close by, which is good, because he didn't want them to get hurt.
"Thank you! Thank you everyone," Daniel presses a button and soon the hologram of the prison city appeared behind him. "Imprisoned behind those walls, gang leaders are fighting a bloody war in the middle of our once great city. Every inmate from the original Arkham prison and the prisons across the galaxy has been relocated to this facility. How can this be safe for the people of Coruscant?"
As the speech goes on, three TYGER Gunships are seen flying towards the Senate.
"Today, I'm starting the campaign to close Arkham City and make Coruscant safe again. I am also here to fully support former chancellor, Padme Amidala to help shut down the prison city to bring peace to our beloved world," said Daniel as the TYGER Gunships begin to land.
Padme tried to run towards Daniel, but Rex and Hunter pulled her back. Abigail orders them into the building as the Senate guards rush to help get the people back. All while Daniels' guards are tasered and get taken down. It is revealed the guards were droids that Daniel had programmed.
Soon, the TYGER guards shot smoke bombs into the crowd and Senate guards. Forcing them back before they rush towards Daniel. One soldier goes up to him and hits him in the face with the butt of his blaster. Daniel goes down and soon the TYGER guards begin taking him away.
Padme calls out for Daniel as she is held back and moved into the Senate building. Calling his name, but her calls are drowned by the screams of the people and the guards shouting over them. All while, Abigail looked on angry at what happened. She was angry because she knew she should have done more to change her brother's mind about doing this. However, she knew he was right.
None of their plans would work, especially since they know Thrawn is aware of who he is. If they are going to win then they will have to play Thrawn's games…for now.
That's the end of the chapter and oh boy things don't look good. It looks like things are according to plan though. Also, that's right folks. I brought in the Bad Batch. I love these guys so much and I wanted to try finding a way to bring them in.
I doubt they'd work for Thrawn since the kind of stuff he's into is not their style. Fighting against orders and doing their thing is what they do best. Still, will they play a role later on? Wait and see.
Also, we are now going into the Arkham gameplay part of the story. This will be different from the game since I want to make some changes here and there. Got to make it good for this universe. What will happen though when Daniel wakes up in Arkham City?
