"I didn't knew ladies could aim like that" Tyson said in complete awe with the Kai's arrow went straight for the centre of the apple hanging by the rope on a tree branch.

"And who said ladies can't aim" Kai asked lowering her bow.

"It's just the ladies seems more interested in dressing up for the ball then learn how to fend after themselves" Tyson said.

"That's true, but not every lady like to dress up. Some are forced to put on their pretty dresses and cover their faces with make up to catch the eye of any available suitor. Sometimes a girl is given more freedom in her husband's home then in her own. That is the reason some of us wants to marry soon and get out of our houses" Kai said lifting up her bow ad aiming at the apple again.

"I didn't knew that" Tyson said realising that Kai wasn't the only one interested in learning to fend off for herself. There must be more but they never got the freedom.

"You are still young prince. Take my advice and try to enjoy these days because once you turn a certain age, you will be expected to find a suitable wife and settle down with her" Kai said, her eyes softening.

Before any further conversation could be made, a maid came running towards them and told Kai that she is called by the king and crown prince for something urgent.

Kai tried to walk as fast as she could while wearing a dress and heels. The fact that both king and crown prince had called her was worrying but the addition of urgent made it worse.

Entering the private office of the king wasn't something Kai thought she would ever do but there she stood in front of him with his eldest by her side. Apparently it had been just the king who called her and Hiro was as clueless as her.

"We have a problem" Bruce started

"What is it" Hiro asked not liking the tone of his father. His father never bothered to tell him any serious problem as of yet. He wanted Hiro to just the first year as a prince with no burden, but being called in the middle of the day was worry some.

"I was going through some of the important looking letters that we found in Voltaire's office and we found something. According to this letter here, if you don't marry someone by the end of this weak, you are to marry Lord Brookhil" Bruce finished looking straight at Kai.

Kai felt the world slip under her feet. This wasn't supposed to happen. Her life was supposed to be better now that Voltaire was gone but it feels like Voltaire found a way to ruin her life even after he was in jail.

"Excuse me" Kai said feeling teras well up in her eyes. Without waiting for a response she turned on her heels and ran out of the door.

Hiro knocked twice on the door and entered the room when he didn't got a reply. He found Kai sitting in the balcony and a closer looked showed that she had been crying.

"Can you please get duchess something to drink" Hiro told the servant in her room. She bowed and left, clearly understanding the need for privacy.

She had seen the duchess came into the room abruptly and just breaking down not even four steps away from the door. She closed the door and let the duchess cry as it had to something terrible to break a strong woman like that.

"Father is looking into the matter right now if it helps" Hiro said quietly

"It doesn't matter. I had to marry him and there is nothing anyone can do about it" Kai said bitterly staring straight.

"Marry me then" Hiro said. That broke Kai out of spell and she turned her neck so fast that Hiro was surprised it didn't break.

"This is not a joke prince" Kai said not believing Hiro one bit.

"I am not joking and I am by far better looking then that Brookhil" Hiro attempted to lighten the mood.

"Why do you want to marry me?" Kai asked standing up and facing Hiro.

"Because you do not wis to marry Brookhil" Hiro said a little unsure.

"And you do not want to marry someone out of your wish. What if you fall in live with someone but you couldn't be with them because of me" Kai said challengingly.

"I had to marry one day and it would be better if it is you. I will not be stuck with someone fake and you won't have to marry an ugly old man" Hiro said.

That is not what he wanted to say. 'Because every time I am around you my heart rate increases at you beauty and your purity. Because I want to be there for you. I want to hold your hand when you are sick and support you. Because I want to be the cause of your happiness and the medicine to all your sorrow. Because I have fallen in love with you'. But he couldn't say that. He don't know why.

"But what if I do not wish to marry you" Kai asked and that question took Hiro by surprise until he saw the humorous look in her eyes and a small smile on her lips.

"So you would rather marry an ugly old man then the handsome prince here" and both of them burst out laughing.

"I will tell father about this" Hiro said once they calmed down and turned to leave until he found two arms surrounding his chest and a body huging him from behind. He turned around and gave Kai a proper hug and realised she was crying.

Kai never thought that there was a way out because no matter who she courted, they would take at least a month to propose and here is the prince, sacrificing his own life for her. Those tears weren't of sadness but of relief that she does not need to marry Brookhil.

A/N: I am back. Is it just me or has anyone else gotten motivation from a dream or out of a sudden and just started writing. Well I did and it didn't turn out that bad. Any way there is going to a two or three chapter more.
