In order to save the world, Morgana is imprisoned in the Grimhold with her son Mordred. They are not the only ones trapped. To save their lives Veronica and Balthazar were put into the Grimhold by their daughter Louisa. Louisa is tasked with finding the one who can defeat Morgana. When she does he is not what Louisa actually expected. *Based on Sorcerer's Apprentice film* Dave/OC

The Sorcerer's Daughter Chapter 1

New York City 2000:

In an out of the way and mostly forgotten spice and herbal shop called Luiza in New York City the owner and single resident to the establishment awakens from her slumber in the living quarters attached to the place. Aroused by the sun's rays gleaming through her window Louisa rises from her bed to face a new day, one of an infinite many, in her spice and herbal shop.

Louisa dresses in a hooded dress that is kind of the normal for customers that venture into her store witness her wearing. One thing that she doesn't have to do in the morning tasks that majority of women do in this day and age is put special creams and ointments on her face in order to prevent wrinkles and acne. Thanks to a combination of her own magic and the spells Merlin placed on her, Louisa hasn't aged since that fated day centuries passed. This grants her an unchanging appearance as a 20-year-old. For so very long Louisa would have to move every few years so those living in the surrounding community don't grow suspicious. This day and age it are far easier since she can just simply make an excuse that she is either doing proper skin care or knows a descent plastic surgeon. Neither of which she actually requires. Louisa then proceeds in her usual routine to open for the day minding a couple of the magical artifacts she las laid out around the store with the inclusion of decoration. The more dangerous ones are in the back where no one can reach or accidentally trigger them, but the more manageable ones are up front to make the business seem more inviting to outsiders.

One in which being the Grimhold. With how many dark forces that have been chasing after it over the years Louisa always keeps it locked away, sealed in a carefully scouted spot where it will take extreme difficulty to extract. Can't make it easy for whoever is desperate enough to try and free Morgana from her prison.

Louisa loves being a mistress of spices in a wide variety of people's eyes. In absence of her family to Louisa the numerous spices and herbs are her love. She knows their origins, colors, smells, and magic powers. Yes, the old, old magic. Every spice and herb has a purpose. And for each person, there's a special spice. Combined with her magic and treasure troth of hoarded knowledge Louisa harnesses these skills to carefully match each person that walks in through the door with their own personal spice that truly calls to them. One they need most of all to get them successfully to work along difficult times and any unexpected challenges they may face.

This provides her with an important added purpose that keeps her going each and every day in her parent's continued absence. The void remaining in her heart was barely full.

Each content patron that departs from her store leaves Louisa very content, satisfied, and fulfilled in a way. It was always her specialty.

While Louisa loves her job and cherishes every single opportunity presented to her to help people through their problems by this ancient and traditional magic it is really just a cover. In order to locate the Prime Merlinean. Each time she moves her store Louisa has patiently watched and waited, each time becoming more wary and disheartened when she fails to locate the correct child. Each one she's shown Merlin's dragon ring to it has never reacted accordingly. Louisa is not going to give up. She can't.

As Louisa is pouring an herb from a bag into a jar in the back she suddenly freezes. Slowly she turns towards the front where she can sense a somewhat unique and powerful force nearing her store.

Furrowing her brow in interest and confusion, Louisa murmured "Someone is coming."

Authors Note:

So I've got some bad news for all my loyal readers. My dog just passed away a couple of months ago. To be perfectly honest I'm heartbroken. He meant so much to me and even though my family has had other dogs in the past, since I moved out, he was my baby and the first animal to ever well and truly be mine. Especially during all of this craziness with covid-19 I think all dog owners can agree that your canine companions can really fill that void that one can find themselves stuck in. And make their households complete. So this is a shout out to all fellow dog lovers out there that see them as their children. Keep your animals close to you and cherish them always…That goes for cats, too. ;)

I cannot begin to describe how apologetic I am for taking so heinously long to get back on track. From this day forward that's all gonna change. Especially since now that I have some more story ideas in mind to add to my profile.
