Author's Note
After a two year hiatus I am going to try to start working on this regularly again. I mostly stopped because I wanted to work on some other stuff for awhile then got distracted by other things...for two years. Not that shocking considering off my sense of time can be.
Anyway while this was originally a story just about Sakura getting turned into a Dolls. After while that changed to me wanting to do a story about the Dolls themselves and not just about Saru the Dolls(Sakura's Dolls self in the story). So the reason Saru has not been front and center in the last few chapter is actually for two main reason. The first was because I was working on Marz as character. She was promoted from a secondary character status to main character status along with Juni and some other Dolls as well. Each would be getting their own backgrounds explored even further then I have already done. Since this will be a story about the Dolls in general I might include that in the story summary as well
The second reason is because I am working on something that make so the Dolls can not be returned to normal ever again. I am doing this because Shadaloo is the protagonist group of the story. Thus I have been thinking of way to prevent the Dolls programing from coming undone again. This story about Dolls so I would not want something that change them back to normal easily within the story at all. So the last few chapters were actually part of this ideal, how exactly is something that get revealed later on once it has runs it course. Consider how I write this story it might be another chapter or two (three max as things change between drafts when I am writing this story)
This leads into the reason I put this story on hold two years ago as I was thinking of adding Ibuki into the story where she get involved in what going on, gets captured and turned into a Dolls herself. Then sent along with Saru to complete some mission for Shadaloo that actually deal with the original reason she was there in the first place. The other idea does not include Ibuki at all but she would still be captured and turned into a Dolls at later time. So I am post a poll(which is on my profile page) asking this question as to what everyone would like to see.
