As Samus entered Commander malkovitch's office, she was puzzled. Up on the walls, there were several medals, newspaper clippings, and photos. All of which were directed towards his service towards the federation, but something caught her eye. It was a photo, a photo of commander malkovich with her father, smiling for the camera.

Then, the commander spoke up. "You should be dead. The DNA test checked out, and you are Indeed Samus Aran. But That... that monster, Ridley, he takes no survivors. Kills everyone. I learned that the hard way. And even then, that doesn't explain the strange strands of DNA found. It seems to originate from zebes, but from what? But that doesn't matter right now. We still need a physical ability test, and then you need to go into training."

Commander malkovitch then proceeded to exit the office. "one of my operatives will guide you to the barracks. NOTHING is to be imported. Understand?"

Samus replied with a yes, as the commander exited the door. A few minutes later, a younger woman came and asked to take all equipment off. Samus then proceeded to take off the power suit, as that was all she currently has on her. She then was taken to the barracks.

Samus then went in line for the physical ability test. A few of the younger men in line stared at her. The Chozo had provided her with a skin-tight suit that allowed the power suit to function. She kept it on, but that attracted unwanted attention.

Next.

Samus waited.

Next.

And waited.

Next.

And waited some more.

After an hour or so passed, she finally was at the front of the line. They had a combat specialist to test 3 separate things: hand-to-hand combat, ranged combat, and self defense. The specialist was a veteran who served for 30 years, and now recruited soldiers.

"ARAN! Your father may have had a high military rank, but that means nothing. I AM NOT going to go easy on you."

Samus proceeded to defeat him easily in hand-to-hand combat.

After passing a few more tests, she then was allowed into the military. Commander malkovitch allowed her to wear the power suit instead of typical galactic federation Standard battle armor.

Her first mission was a galaxy-wide bounty on a man that several republics wanted dead. He was deemed insane and his scientific experiments "inhumane". He had recently been spotted by police on Macbeth, a mining planet.

As Samus traveled, she wondered whether they'd catch the man or not...
