Ridley screamed, in pain. The force of the arm cannon was enough to burn his shoulder.

"You're going to pay for that..." Ridley said in a cold voice. He then proceeded to get up, and flash his claws.

Ridley then rushed towards Samus, and she dodged. She then proceeded to pull out her plasma blaster, and shot him towards the wings.

Ridley roared once again, and grabbed Samus, lifting her in the air. She attempted to get out, but failed.

Ridley grinned, and dropped her from 200 feet in the air.

Samus fell,

And fell,

And fell.

Until she hit the ground.

ARAN! ARAN!

Samus woke up, one hour after the fall, and noticed her suit on the ground. Or what was left of it. It was in pieces, and the only working things were the helmet and the arm cannon.

She got up, and shouted "over here!" And out of the forest came out the only human survivor of the attack, malkovitch himself.

"You... are the luckiest... person... I know. That was a 20 foot fall. Either your armor was that strong, or that strange DNA is kicking in." He said, panting. "Let's get back to the ship, get all your armor, and file a report."

As they got the final piece on the ship, And started it up, they took off and left. Samus immediately got to work repairing it. The storage system for it doubled as a repair station, and it was easy to fix, as it only needed to be welded and re-painted.

In the background, Samus could hear malkovitch's report.

Mission report

This is captain Adam malkovitch of the galactic federation, recording for future analysis.

The mission failed. We met up with Star fox of Corneria, and the search was a success. However, the target... was collaborating with space pirates. Ridley came, and massacred everyone. Only me and FT-37561, named Samus Aran, survived.

This report is a track of all deaths during the mission.

SLFT-291753, named James smith, deceased. My condolences to the man's family.

FT-152967, named johnathan fritzjerald, deceased. Managed to land a shot on Ridley before his death.

FT-193751, named Micheal Williams, Was carried off by Ridley into the sky, and dropped. The damn beast enjoyed it.

It is my regret that we could not capture the target, nor Ridley.

I am planning about 2-4 more chapters for Samus's first story, then we're moving onto STAR FOX. That's gonna be fun. Thought I'd reveal some details.

Instead of a person v person conflict, (obviously there's his rival wolf) this one's gonna be more of an internal conflict. Fox is going to search for his father, who has mysteriously disappeared...

Till then, Samus's got at least one more conflict with Ridley before we move on.
