Nightwing ducked under a punch from his opponent and swept his legs, knocking him down with a grunt. He turned to his right and blocked a punch and with his other hand took an escrima stick and hit the criminal hard in the leg, causing him to fall and scream in pain.

He heard footsteps behind him but did not care as he threw a wing-ding at another criminal holding a gun, disarming him.

In fact Catwoman wrapped her whip around the fist that was directed at her boyfriend's back and pulled him toward her. She threw a hard uppercut at him, knocking him out immediately.

Nightwing ran toward the enemy in front of him and dodged a blow. He subsequently threw a punch to his stomach followed by a roundhouse kick.

Catwoman saw another thug to the vigilante's right holding a gun, aiming at the first Robin. As she approached him the former thief cracked her whip on his hand disarming him and punched him squarely in the nose. The thug staggered backward dazed but did not give up. He threw a punch at her but she blocked it and spun him around, twisting his wrist and jumped into the air, kicking him in the face.

Nightwing approached his girlfriend and smiled, seeing a dozen unconscious criminals thanks to them. "Good job, Cats." he said as he handcuffed them and called the police to escort them to jail.

She smiled back at him. "Thank you, pretty kitten." she replied as she took the grappling hook from her belt (Nightwing had given her many of his gadgets, including the grappling hook to reach great heights in case the whip wasn't enough) and shot toward a building.

The girl had begun to love the feeling of adrenaline and wind against her as she darted to climb a building.

She climbed over the building and was joined by the former Boy Wonder two seconds later.

"Now, boss?" joked the girl.

The boy chuckled before getting serious. "You know I'm not your boss, right?" he asked seriously.

Catwoman blinked several times behind red lenses. "What's that supposed to mean? I mean, you're the first to make Bludhaven your town."

He smiled gently at her. "Bludhaven is yours as much as it is mine. I am your partner and you are my partner. There is no boss in this partnership. Not like in the Batman and Robin dynamic." he explained.

She understood and found herself moved by her boyfriend's words. She gave him a slow kiss before pulling away slowly and looking at his face (or rather say mask although by now she understood every expression behind it). "Thank you, love." she thanked him warmly.

He was the first to believe in her and not just because he was her boyfriend. He had seen good in her for so long and gave her the chance to change, even going against Batman and the Justice League, and for that she cannot thank him enough.

He smiled at her before he turned to the city, looking for some crime. Catwoman did the same and the two fell into a comfortable silence.

"Batman to Nightwing and Catwoman." rang out the Dark Knight's gruff voice in their communicators.

The day after that Justice League meeting to discuss about Catwoman, Selina and Dick went to Wayne Manor to clear the air. Bruce apologized to her for how he acted (even though she was not present at the heated discussion) and she happily accepted the apology.

Batman and Nightwing supplied her with many of their gadgets and also a communicator. Since she was now officially part of the Batfamily, even though she had not yet met three members of it, Bruce gave her a communicator and the frequency of not only the Justice League but also the Batfamily where obviously only the members belonging to it were part of.

In addition, Batman supplied the couple's belts with a GPS-equipped emergency button in case either of them were in danger and needed help from their partner. This novelty affected only the two of them.

Both carried fingers on their communicators. "Catwoman and Nightwing listening." replied the former thief.

"Did you hear that, old man? The two lovebirds are listening!" Red Hood teased them.

"Do you ever shut up?" asked Red Robin annoyed.

"Robin and I have discovered that Two Face has moved to Bludhaven and is supplying his men with weapons, probably to shoot you down." replied Batman, ignoring his sons.

"Any particular reason for taking us down, besides the fact that I defeated him over and over again?" asked Nightwing.

"Other than the fact that he's taken a dislike to you for years, I don't think there's any ulterior motive." declared the Caped Crusader monotonously.

The Bludhaven vigilante sighed audibly. "Great." he muttered sarcastically. "Don't worry B! We'll take care of it." he assured him.

"Yes B, they will fight Scarred Face with the power of love!" chuckled Bruce's second son.

"Shut that sewer Hood and you'll be doing humanity a favor!" snapped Robin.

"Red Hood, when you get engaged someday I'll be the first to take the piss out of you." giggled Nightwing with amused and smiling Catwoman at his side.

"Language, Master Nightwing." Alfred admonished him from the Batcave.

Catwoman giggled at her boyfriend's embarrassed face. "Sorry, Agent A."

"Anything else to tell us, Batman?" asked Catwoman.

"No. Batman out."

And everyone else disconnected from the communication.

"Is it like this every time?" asked the cat lover curiously.

Her boyfriend smiled and chuckled at her. "Every single time. But that's the beauty of it, isn't it?"

She giggled and nodded before getting serious. "Well, where do we start looking for Two Face?"

He became serious too. "Knowing his style, which is similar to most criminals by the way but details, he'll probably be in some warehouse."

"My guess is he hasn't strayed far from Gotham, so in some warehouse on the border between the two cities." the girl speculated.

He nodded. "You're probably right. At least then we can discard a lot of warehouses." in fact there were many in Bludhaven. He smiled at her. "That's my smart girl."

She smiled at him and picked up the grappling hook. "Let's go kick his ass, pretty kitten."

As they moved between buildings, Catwoman asked her boyfriend a question. "What did Batman mean when he said Two Face took a dislike to you?"

Nightwing sighed as he continued moving from rooftop to rooftop. "As you well know, all the supervillains in Gotham want me dead." she nodded darkly. "But especially the Joker and Two Face. The Joker because I was the first and only Robin that he never managed to break. Also, according to him, because I was the first Robin, I diverted Batman from his attention."

"Creepy obsession." she muttered into the air loud enough for the acrobat to hear, who chuckled. Mentally Catwoman was furious at the psychopathic clown.

"Two Face on the other hand, that's a different story. He... Batman and I were on a mission to capture him, only I disobeyed an order from Batman as soon as I saw him in trouble and I was captured by Two-Face.

"Then he tortured me for about two hours, brutally beating me with a damn baseball bat before Batman found me and defeated him.

"This was the first time anyone tortured me. I was ten years old." Catwoman gasped in horror. "I remember Batman wanting to take away my title of Robin for my own safety but I eventually managed to convince him otherwise. Being Robin was a part of me and that's why I refused to let him take it away.

"From then on Two Face has always hated me and takes every opportunity he can to hurt me." Nightwing finished somberly just as they landed on a warehouse.

Catwoman listened intently to every word her partner said. She cracked her whip three times in the air with a murderous look. "He'll pay for what he did to you!" she hissed like an angry cat.

Nightwing smiled to himself.

She is so sexy when she gets angry! My God, she is simply beautiful.

He gently took her hand and squeezed it. "Don't worry, Cats. It's been a long time since then." he sighed when he saw that she did not calm down. "The important thing is that you don't kill him, okay?"

She calmed down slightly and nodded. "We'd better check if this is the right warehouse." she affirmed. They parted on the roof when Catwoman spoke, not too loudly but loud enough for her boyfriend to hear. "Come here 'Wing!"

The vigilante came to her within seconds. "What have you found?"

She pointed downstairs. "There's a window. I will lower with the whip that you will hold, okay?"

He smiled at her. "Good plan."

Nightwing picked up the whip and uncoiled it to the bottom, with Catwoman climbing on it.

When she dropped perfectly in front of the window, she checked. There was Two Face walking in front of armed men, as if he were a general of an army.

Let's see, one ... two ... three ... eighteen. There are eighteen armed men.

She checked every inch of a room when she glimpsed an exit of the ventilation systems above the men. With this information, she climbed back on her whip and landed in front of Nightwing, who handed her weapon back to her. She informed him of everything she noticed.

He nodded at the end of the explanation. "Very well. We will enter the ventilation systems through the grate that should be here on the roof somewhere. Then we will attack at the right time. We'll create a distraction, and at that time I'll take out some criminals and go confront Two Face while you take care of the remaining thugs and, once you' re done, join me to beat up Two Face. What do you say?"

She nodded. "Let's look for this grate, pretty kitten."

They quickly found it, and Nightwing slipped a lockpick from his right glove and forced the grate open. They entered the ventilation systems and crawled in until they were on top of the criminals.

"Ready?" he asked her softly as he took two smoke grenades.

She nodded and kissed his cheek. "Kick his ass, pretty kitten."

He blushed slightly and smiled at her. He took a deep breath before throwing the smoke pellets downstairs which caused panic, screams and gunfire.

Nightwing landed on top of a thug's head and used the momentum to perform a somersault and kick two thugs in the face and land in a crouch. He took the escrima sticks and attacked the criminals who stood between him and Two Face.

In the process Catwoman landed between two criminals scaring them off. Taking advantage of their momentary distraction she threw a punch to the abdomen followed by a right hook to the one in front of her and elbowed the chest of the one behind her. She turned quickly and threw a roundhouse kick at him. He staggered backward but did not fall, so the former thief sprinted toward him and, with her sharp claws, scratched his face several times getting rivulets of blood on his face and eventually the thug fainted.

She took the whip and cracked it at five thugs in a row, disarming them all. With her agility she avoided the bullets directed at her and approached those five and in about ten seconds defeated them all.

Meanwhile Nightwing defeated three criminals and took six wing-dings, three in each hand, and threw them at the enemies who pointed their weapons at Catwoman, disarming them all. He turned to face Two Face who was sneering at him.

"Well well, then the news was true." casually asserted the former Gotham prosecutor.

"What news?" he growled as he pulled out his escrima sticks again.

"That you have that thief for a girlfriend and partner. You know, I wouldn't have expected that from the first Robin. Who knows what disappointment your dad Bat must have felt!" he sneered with a creepy grin. "But that's enough talk. Head, I'll beat you pretty hard but I'll let you live, cross, I'll kill you." and as usual he tossed his typical coin in the air and took it back.

"Cross. Just what I wanted. Prepare to die!" he exclaimed as he pulled out a gun and pointed it at the vigilante.

Nightwing rolled his eyes. "What a cliché line, old man." and with that he rolled to the side avoiding bullets. He approached him performing several wheels and somersaults in a row dodging bullets until he was inches away from Two Face and hit the hand of the enemy holding the gun, disarming him.

Catwoman smiled as she saw six wing-dings disarming as many people.

Thank you, pretty kitten.

She approached the criminal closest to her. She dodged two punches and kicked him hard in the kneecap, satisfied when she heard the bone crack very loudly. The criminal screamed in pain and fell to the ground.

He will not walk for a while.

She heard footsteps behind her and ducked, avoiding a punch. While still ducked, she turned around and threw a roundhouse kick to his right leg followed by a kick to the chest.

The remaining four criminals approached together.

One of them even had the audacity to speak. "How about you leave the boy in the Halloween costume here and come with us and have some fun?" a smirk appeared on the gross man's face as the others emitted disgusted laughter.

Catwoman made a mental note to leave him for last.

Without dignifying him with an answer she jumped headlong into one of them and feinted to the right. He fell for it and she punched him in the chest and one in the face, breaking his nose. A fist flew toward her and she dropped her hands to the ground avoiding him and she swept his legs and used the momentum to get back on her feet and kick him in the skull (not too hard; she didn't want to kill him after all) while he was still on the ground, knocking him out.

She blocked his punch and painfully twisted his wrist, breaking it. Next she kicked him in the chest followed by a hard punch to his temple, sending him flying a few feet.

She turned toward the last remaining man as well as the one who spoke. She noted with satisfaction that although outwardly he acted like a brave man, she could see from his eyes that he was very afraid of her.

She took the whip and wrapped it tightly around his neck and pulled him closer to her. "Did you really think I would leave my pretty kitten for disgusting, repulsive men like you?" at first she whispered but finished the sentence by growling dangerously. She clicked her cat claws again and, in one swift stroke, sank them into the man's face tearing off small pieces of skin.

The gross man opened his mouth to scream in pain but nothing came out as he was choking as he tried futilely to free himself from the hard grip of the whip. Catwoman increased the pressure until he passed out and released him. For her own satisfaction, she delivered a powerful kick to his genitals (A/N: Do not replicate this action except in case of danger).

As Catwoman disposed of the six men, Nightwing had just disarmed Two Face, who clutched his sore hand struck by the escrima stick.

The vigilante attempted to hit him in the face with a stick of his own but the enemy avoided it and kicked him in the chest, knocking him back a few inches.

Two Face aimed to punch him in the face but Nightwing ducked at the last millisecond causing him to momentarily lose his balance.

Nightwing used this opportunity to swing his escrima stick and hit the supervillain's scarred face hard. As the villain staggered, the hero jumped up for a kick to the face but Two Face recovered in time and caught his foot and threw it toward the wall.

As he was thrown, the vigilante twisted so that his feet touched the wall first and, without ever putting his feet on the ground, sprinted toward his opponent.

Two Face had already anticipated this move and charged a punch straight at the hero's face. Nightwing turned his head in time but the punch hit his left shoulder. He momentarily ignored the pain and swung his escrima stick at the supervillain's face again.

This time the hit was strong enough to send him flying a few meters away.

The vigilante landed perfectly on his feet. He concentrated all his willpower to ignore the overwhelming pain in his shoulder. It was probably dislocated.

Two Face growled at him. He spat blood and charged toward him. Nightwing tried to strike him in the legs with his weapon but he dodged to the side. The hero ducked to dodge a punch and stepped back a few inches to avoid a knee to the nose.

Catwoman turned just in time to see her boyfriend dodge a knee to the nose. She growled dangerously and sneaked up on Two Face. Nightwing noticed her but quickly looked away to allow her to attack the villain by surprise without the former prosecutor noticing her.

Catwoman saw that Two Face threw a punch at her boyfriend who dropped his hands to the ground and he kicked his arm and then got back up using the momentum.

The supervillain quickly withdrew his aching arm, and the former thief used this opportunity to tightly wrap her whip around the legs of her enemy, who fell to the ground.

Two Face turned his surprised gaze behind him only to become angry when he saw Catwoman holding the whip. He tried to free himself from the whip but it only wrapped itself more tightly around his legs slowing its circulation and causing him to curse. "Damn bitch!" he roared angrily.

His head spun violently the other way when Nightwing struck him with a kick. He grabbed him by the shirt, punched him in the face, and slammed his face into the ground. Next he took his escrima sticks, which emitted high-voltage electrical charges. He brought them close to the former prosecutor's neck and shocked him for a few seconds and then rendered him unconscious.

Nightwing put his weapons back in place and Catwoman unfurled her whip.

The two vigilantes approached and the girl noticed that he was holding his left shoulder.

"Are you okay?" she asked worriedly as she pointed to his shoulder.

He smiled reassuringly at her. "I'm fine. It's just a little sore, no big deal." he replied as he fiddled with his holographic glove. "I sent a message to Commissioner Gordon with the coordinates of the magazine so he and his men will come and get them." he explained to his girlfriend.

She nodded and the two partners handcuffed and bound all the criminals as they perched on a building near the warehouse, waiting for Gordon's men.

Nightwing sat on the edge of the roof and Catwoman followed his actions. She rested her head on her boyfriend's uninjured shoulder and he wrapped his shoulders around her, pulling her even closer to him, enjoying her body heat.

Catwoman wrapped her arms around Nightwing's torso and snuggled into him and sighed blissfully. She loved being cuddled with him. She enjoyed every single second being curled up on him.

He made her feel very happy and safe, certain that she was safe from every danger in the world.

For about thirty minutes they did not move from that position, occasionally exchanging sweet kisses and laughter.

Nightwing stood up and stretched, careful of his injured shoulder. "We did well tonight, Cats."

Catwoman smiled at him. "Then let's go home," she leaned into her boyfriend's ear. "Pretty kitten." she whispered sensuously and smiled mischievously when she felt him shiver.

He returned the mischievous smile and he shot his grappling hook in the direction of their home, followed by the love of his life.
