With the Sirens defeated, Chase, Twilight, and their friends embark on brand new exciting adventures to spread friendship around Equestria as well as making new friends to help them. Along with that, they will face off against new villains and the Quinkan as well.

19. Scare Master

Chapter 19: Scare Master

One evening, Fluttershy was quickly trying to close her window shades, blinds, and panes all around her house. She couldn't help but look about nervously when she found a pair of window panes clattering about with the wind.

"Fuzzy Legs," said Fluttershy to a nearby spider, "do you think you could secure those windows?" The spider saluted before firing some webbing to close the windows.

"And you'll alert me if anything scary comes close to the cottage?" Fluttershy asked three birds, which they all nodded in reply.

"Oh, who am I kidding?" said Fluttershy, "When something scary comes close to the cottage!"

"Does it really matter anymore?" asked a voice.

"Excuse me?" Fluttershy asked rather indignantly as she turned around and found her husband standing nearby with a smile on his face.

"Seriously, does it really matter if something scary shows up?" Sokka repeated as he pulled out his boomerang and his machete, "I'm ready to fight anything that tries to hurt or scare my girl!" Fluttershy stared and then giggled as she hovered over to him.

"Oh you're such a knight in shining armor, honey," said Fluttershy and gave her husband a kiss on the cheek, "I'm so happy I have my sweetheart looking out for me." Sokka smiled as he put his weapons away and Fluttershy quickly hovered over to Harry.

"Please tell me our hiding place is ready," Fluttershy asked the bear. Harry growled in reply as he lifted the bed drapes to reveal a rather cozy hiding place. It was filled with plush toys, pillows, a lantern, a bucket of apples, some peanut butter, and more. Plus it was made with enough room for two!

"Oh, look, you've filled it with everything we need to survive this awful night," said Fluttershy.

"I can't wait for our date," Sokka added as Fluttershy giggled in agreement.

"Thank you, thank you all!" said Fluttershy to her animals as she hugged Harry and her husband, "Now I don't have to step a hoof outside until this whole thing is over."

"Well then," said Sokka as he wrapped a fore-leg around his wife, "Shall we get nice and cozy for that date my love?"

Fluttershy nodded when they were both interrupted when Fluttershy gave a light squeak. They both looked down to see Angel glaring at them as he banged a bucket before them.

"Oh, no!" said Fluttershy, "You don't have any carrots? Do we have other fresh veggies you may enjoy? Or maybe some hay?" Angel just growled in reply, tossed the bucket aside and snubbed her.

"Angel, what have I told you about being rude to your mother?" Sokka asked firmly. Angel flinched and then just gave Sokka an innocent look.

"Are you referring to this occasion or past occasions?" Angel squeaked in his own dialect.

"You know what I'm referring to and this had better be the end of it!" Sokka said sternly as he got into the bunny's face, "besides, you know your mother hates going out tonight. If you're carrots were low, you should've spoken up yesterday!"

"He did, dear," said Fluttershy, "I was the one who forgot to go shopping." Fluttershy gasped, "But that means I'll need to go out...on Nightmare Night!" As she looked out the window, thunder and lightning clashed outside and some ponies walked by laughing as they wore their nightmare night costumes.

"You could wait til morning," said Sokka gently.

"Sokka, it's my fault he doesn't have food," said Fluttershy firmly, "As much as I hate to, I have to go out." Sokka sighed, knowing his wife's tone meant she wasn't going to change her mind.

"I'll go with you then," said Sokka.

"Oh would you?" Fluttershy replied as she hugged him gratefully, "I would feel a lot safer if you did."

"Anything for you honey," Sokka replied as he hugged her back supportively and also protectively.

*Main theme*

It didn't take too long before the two Pegasi were outside the market area. Everypony around the area was gathering up items and decorations for tonight's Nightmare Night festivities. Even with Sokka at her side, Fluttershy couldn't help but walk about the area rather nervously. Sokka went to pat her back.

"WAH!" Fluttershy jumped when she felt Sokka's fore-hoof touch her back.

"Sorry, honey," said Sokka, "I was trying to give you a little love tap to help you relax. Remember that I'm here with you. You've got nothing to be afraid of."

Fluttershy calmed down and smiled, but then flinched when she heard some fireworks go off. Then both Pegasi flinched when a floating balloon with a ghost on it went by as some eerie sound effects could be heard. Fluttershy then turned to see a jack 'o lantern glowing at her menacingly. Sokka snorted.

"Don't worry, dear," said Sokka, "none of this stuff is gonna hurt you." Sokka looked to his side to find Fluttershy wasn't there.

"Honey?" Sokka called out as he looked around.

He then found his wife walking backwards with a frightened look on her face. She then looked to see Twinkleshine and Amethyst Star giggling to each other. Fluttershy was feeling better until they made a large collection of spiders appear from above, making them laugh. Fluttershy just winced and backed away from the two ponies until she bumped into the side of a house. She looked up to see a large poster with a giant skeleton on it. Fluttershy gasped dramatically and then turned to run but stopped and yelped when she saw her husband in front of her.

"Easy, dear," said Sokka gently, "It's only me." Fluttershy smiled. It was then three little ponies came running by.

"Nightmare night, what a fright! Give me something sweet to bite!" The three ponies sing sang. Fluttershy smiled when she turned to face them. The three ponies looked at her, each of them showing off their fake sets of scary or crooked teeth. Fluttershy gasped dramatically once more and ran off. The three ponies just stared as Sokka smiled sheepishly.

"If...you three will excuse me..." said Sokka slowly before taking off as well. The three little ponies just stared a moment longer before walking away.

"Nightmare night, what a fright! Give me something sweet to bite!" The three ponies continued to sing.

Meanwhile, Sokka was slowing down since he didn't know where Fluttershy had run off to. It was long before he reached a wagon where Granny Smith had Big Mac loading a wagon with bushels of fresh hay.

"Hey, Big Mac, have you seen my wife anywhere?" Sokka asked.

"Now why in tarnation would ya be askin' somethin' like that?" Granny Smith answered for the red stallion, "You know what tonight is."

"I do know what tonight is Granny Smith," Sokka answered, "But my wife...oh there she is!" Big Mac had just lifted another bushel of hay when he found that Fluttershy trembling fearfully underneath the wagon.

"Fluttershy?" Granny Smith exclaimed in surprise, "What're you doin' out and about? It's Nightmare Night, remember?"

"How could I forget?" Fluttershy replied, "Oh, I don't suppose I could borrow a few pieces of hay from you? I forgot to stock up on food for Angel, and you do seem to have quite a lot."

"We need it for the Apple Family Haunted Maze," Granny Smith replied before continuing in a spooky voice, "The scariest maze that there ever was. Who knows what lurks inside?"

"Oh, I'm sure I don't," Fluttershy replied fearfully.

"Is that a mummified pony that just leaped out at ya?" Granny Smith asked as she got into the yellow Pegasus's face.

"I don't know," Fluttershy replied meekly as she tumbled into her back, "Is it?"

"Granny Smith, please..." Sokka asked gently.

"And what's that crunchin' sound beneath yer hooves?" Granny Smith continued, ignoring both Sokka and the fact Fluttershy was getting more and more terrified, "Maybe it's the bones of ponies that didn't make it out alive!"

"B-B-B-B-Bones?!" Fluttershy spluttered.

"Granny Smith, stop!" Sokka pleaded firmly, but was still ignored.

"Are those the peeled grapes or a thousand slimy eyeballs starin' at ya from beyond the grave?" Granny Smith pressed on, making her eyes swirly. Sokka growled as he face-hoofed himself.

"Please tell me they're grapes!" Fluttershy pleaded as she cowered back.

"Oh, I'll never tell," said Granny Smith as she posed and laughed maniacally as thunder and lightning clashed behind her. Fluttershy cried out and ran away as she began to sob. Sokka tried to stop her, but Fluttershy ran round him and took off into the distance. Granny Smith was left stunned.

"Huh, I wonder what got stuck in her craw," Granny Smith remarked cluelessly. Big Mac gave her an annoyed look while Sokka growled.

"Well, maybe it was..." Sokka started to explain in a very stern tone.

"Nevermind, Sokka," said Big Mac, "Just go to your wife. She needs you right now."

Sokka glared but then conceded with a nod and hovered away. It didn't take him long before he came to a small collection of bushes where he heard the sound of a pony sobbing heavily.

"Honey?" Sokka said gently as he landed outside the bush, "Honey...it's me."

"Just go away..." Fluttershy sobbed.

"Not happening," said Sokka in a gentle but firm tone, "I'm not leaving you alone out here." Fluttershy hiccuped before peeking out of the bush, her eyes still pouring tears.

"I hope you know you married a coward," said Fluttershy, "with a severe case of pantophobia."

"What's pantophobia?" Sokka asked.

"The fear of everything!" Fluttershy croaked and began to sob once more. Sokka just looked unamused, knowing exactly what Fluttershy was implying.

"So...is that supposed to make me not wanna stay married to you?" said Sokka , "or abandon you or something?" Fluttershy blinked as a pair of tears streamed down her face, stunned by his statement.

"I mean," Sokka continued, "I'm not forcing you to stay married to me if you've..."

"You zip it right now, Sokka!" Fluttershy scolded in broken tone, "I love you so much! It's just that...you could have married better. I'm not good enough for you!"

Fluttershy sobbed some more until Sokka gently pulled her out of the bush and kissed her gently twice before gazing into her blue eyes.

"So you struggle to be brave, and Nightmare Night terrifies you," said Sokka, "You're still an amazing, talented, and the most beautiful pony I've ever laid eyes on. I don't care if you're afraid of everything. Just give me the chance to try and help you overcome your fears."

"But I've had this problem my whole life!" Fluttershy whimpered, "I never wanted this to be...a problem for you. A problem you have to deal with..." Sokka chuckled.

"It's not," said Sokka, "You've got more courage then you give yourself credit for. I believe in you."

"But I struggle so much with it," said Fluttershy, "Even with you here, I'm still terrified."

"True," said Sokka, "But you still left the house regardless. That shows that you're not letting your fear stop you from doing what needs to be done. And I've seen you overcome that fear time and time again. Even when you're scared, you still take that step forward and accomplish your goals. You might not feel stronger, but when it really counts, you come through for me and your friends. I'm so proud of you."

Fluttershy chuckled as her tears slowed down and Sokka kissed away the remaining tears from her cheeks.

"I still don't like being out here, honey," said Fluttershy sadly.

"I understand, dear," said Sokka, "I think you've been out here long enough. Angel is just gonna have to tough it out this time. He needs to learn he can't always get what he wants. You're his mother, not his servant." Fluttershy sighed when she got an idea.

"Can we just see if Twilight and Chase have anything first?" Fluttershy asked, "Last stop and then we can go back home." Sokka was hesitant, but then Fluttershy gave him pouty lips.

"Hey, none of that young lady," Sokka said in a fatherly tone as Fluttershy just smiled cutely at him.

"Alright," said Sokka with chuckle, "but let's just fly there. You'll have less to deal with in the sky."

"Can I hold your fore-leg?" Fluttershy asked. Sokka smiled.

"Just promise me you won't let go," Sokka replied as they hovered into the air and Fluttershy hugged his foreleg with both of her own.

"I love you so much, Sokka," said Fluttershy.

"I love you very much too, my princess," Sokka replied as they flew toward Twilight's castle.

(Scene changes)

It wasn't long before they landed and some thunder and lightning clashed in the sky, scaring Fluttershy.

"I'm really getting sick of all these ominous environments today," said Sokka annoyingly, "I'm beginning to remember why I dislike Nightmare Night myself."

"I didn't know that," said Fluttershy, "Did ponies like to target you too?"

"You have no idea," Sokka replied, "That's why I understand how you feel. You weren't the only pony who was frighten to tears on Nightmare Night."

"At least you got over it," Fluttershy said sadly.

"I had to," said Sokka as he looked into her blue eyes, "I have to protect my princess." Fluttershy giggled and felt better as they slowly made their way inside of what was currently a dark castle.

"Seesh, would it kill a pony to set up some lamps in here?" Sokka remarked.

"I'm alright, honey," said Fluttershy, "I have you." She began to look around the castle as they both walked down one of the hallways.

"Twilight? Chase? Hello?" Fluttershy called out timidly.

"Yooooooo-hoooooo! Anypony home?" Sokka called out. It was then they heard some strange sounds and a large dark shadow approaching them.

"Stay close to me," Sokka said sternly as he withdrew his boomerang and machete.

Fluttershy then screamed as the shadow approached. Sokka got ready to strike when...they found that the shadow belonged to Spike, who was working on his costume that had a second stuffed head on it.

"You think it's scary now," Spike boasted, "just wait until it's done."

"That's okay," said Fluttershy as Sokka put his weapons away, "My husband and I will take your word for it." Spike grunted for a moment to keep the stuffed head from falling off before speaking again.

"Hey, wait a minute!" said Spike, "It's Nightmare Night and you and Sokka are here and not holed up in the cottage!"

"We were never "holed up" in the cottage," said Sokka, "Just having romantic dates together." Spike made a face.

"Didn't need to know that," Spike remarked, "My point is that you're both out tonight. Does this mean what I think it means?"

"That I foolishly forgot to stock up on food for Angel and had to go get him something," Fluttershy explained, "but got spooked in town despite having my husband to protect me so we came here hoping Twilight and Chase had some lettuce I could give him?"

"Oh," said Spike, not hiding his disappointment, "I thought maybe you two decided to come out with us tonight."

"Goodness, no!" said Fluttershy, "We couldn't be out tonight. Well...at least I couldn't be out tonight. I just couldn't."

"Technically speaking, you and Sokka are already out now," Spike pointed out.

"Good point," said Sokka.

"Oh, I guess that is true," said Fluttershy.

"So what if you stayed out a little longer with your friends?" Spike suggested, "I know they'd be super excited."

"You think so?" Fluttershy answered before Sokka could do so.

"You would make them so happy if you joined in," said Spike, "and I mean the both of you. They wouldn't believe their eyes! Come on, Fluttershy, what do you say?" Fluttershy was clearly hesitant as Sokka put a fore-leg around her.

"Honey, what do you..."

"Whatever you want to do, sweetheart," said Sokka, "We can join in the fun or we can go home. It's up to you." Fluttershy pondered as she heard some faint laughter in the distance.

(Scene changes)

Inside the library room, Pinkie, Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, Chase, Sunray, Jade, Nyx, and Clay were sitting in a circle as they shared spooky stories with each other. It was currently Pinkie's turn to tell one.

"And then it got very, very quiet and suddenly they realized," said Pinkie then turned to lantern on with her face lit up, "the balloons had never been inflated!"

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" the others, minus Chase and Nyx, screamed and then they all laughed. Then Rarity took the lantern for her turn to tell a spooky story.

"Did I ever tell you about the night that the mannequin came to life and haunted all the costumes," said Rarity.

"What happened?" Rainbow asked nervously.

"I just told you, darling," said Rarity bluntly, "A mannequin came to life and haunted all the costumes."

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Pinkie squealed and fell onto her back.

"Hi, everypony," said a voice as they turned the lights on.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" the others, except Chase and Nyx, screamed.

"Whoa, easy everypony!" said Sokka as he and Fluttershy made their presence known, "It's only me and my wife."

"Fluttershy, Sokka, what are you doing here?" Twilight asked with concern, "Is everything okay?"

"Everything is fine," Fluttershy asked as Spike stood nearby, "In fact, it's more than fine. Shenran and I have decided to join you in your Nightmare Night festivities." Rainbow scoffed in disbelief.

"Seriously? You? Out? Tonight?" Rainbow remarked.

"Gotta a problem with that?" Sokka asked defensively as he glared at her. Rarity also gave the blue Pegasus a glare, which made Rainbow smile apologetically.

"It's alright, Sokka," said Fluttershy gently before speaking to the rest of the group, "Every Nightmare Night, I shut myself in my cottage and refuse to come out until morning. While I have my husband to keep me company and he doesn't mind staying with me, I still want to show him that I'm not afraid to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. After all, it's just like when I was afraid to sing in front of anypony. If I hadn't given it a try, I never would've found out how much I enjoy it."

"And we'd have missed out on how great you sound," Applejack pointed out, making Fluttershy smile and blush bright pink.

"I'll always remember that event because it was when I proposed to you," said Sokka, making Fluttershy giggle and they shared a quick kiss together.

"Fluttershy and Sokka with us on Nightmare Night?" said Rarity, "Why, that's positively the most wonderful news I've heard in ages!"

"You can get dressed up in a costume with us," said Pinkie excitedly as she zipped over to Fluttershy and bounced about, "and play Nightmare Night games with us and eat candy apples with us!"

"Don' forget the best part," Applejack added as she put a fore-hoof around Pinkie, "Goin' through my family's corn maze!" Pinkie gave a squee as Fluttershy looked a little uncomfortable.

"Oh, right," said Fluttershy uneasily, "The maze."

"Uh, only if you're up for it," said Clay reassuringly.

"You sure you are up for this, Fluttershy?" Chase asked gently.

"Yes, Chase." Fluttershy replied back. "My husband and I are up for it. I'm ready to take on Nightmare Night!" Everypony cheered, but the loud noise startled Fluttershy as she squatted down on the floor nervously, making everypony's cheers stop.

"Just practicing," said Fluttershy nervously with a giggle and a laugh. The others just shared worried looks with each other. Sokka walked up to his wife.

"Honey, are you sure you're up for this?" Sokka asked gently, "You don't have to push yourself for my sake. We can still go home and have a nice date together."

"I'm fine, dear," said Fluttershy firmly as she stood up, "We're gonna do this as a couple and that's my decision." Sokka just sighed. Despite his wife's determination, he was feeling rather worried.

Nyx meanwhile was feeling a little unsure about something besides her concerns for Fluttershy. Chase noticed this and walked up to his daughter.

"Nyx, what's wrong?" Chase asked concerned for his daughter as he rubbed a fore hoof on Nyx's back.

"Oh, nothing, Daddy. I'm okay." Nyx said assuringly. "I'm just feeling a little scared at the moment for this event too."

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. As long as you have your friends, your aunt, uncle, and your parents with you by yourside, it will be fine." Chase said as he kissed his daughter's forehead making her giggle as her adoptive father walked back to join the group.

But soon her worried look appeared on her face and she looked down in thought about something else.

"Maybe the Night of The Quinkan won't happen again for this event." Nyx said with worry.

(Scene changes)

Unknown to her, Zhao was watching everything from his orb with an evil smirk on his face.

"Oh, it will happen, Nyx." Zhao declared with a soft yet sinister look before he added much more. "Because soon we will have your yellow Pegasus friend's Quinkan magic again as well as the chi your five friends have on you, and you won't be around to stop us."

He turned to Kai and Wuya.

"Kai, Wuya." Zhao said as the two were at full attention. "Gather up the most powerful Quinkan soldiers. The Night of The Quinkan begins now."

"Yes, master." Kai and Wuya said, bowing to their master in respect before they went off screen to fetch their best Quinkan soldiers.

Zhao smirked deviously with a low chuckle.

"Very soon, Fluttershy's vampire fruit bat form will give us the power we need to end the friendship Chase and his pathetic friends had started long ago when they got their cutie marks." Zhao said sinisterly. "And then, I will destroy their homeworld with those wretched ponies out of my way once more."

He chuckles evilly.

(Scene changes)

Outside, the cutie mark crusaders were busy tossing toilet paper into the tree closest to the Carousel Boutique. Sweetie Belle was dressed like a Victorian style upper class mare, Apple Bloom was platypus, and Scootaloo was a Wonderbolt. The three fillies laughed as they finished their toilet paper raid and ran off. Inside the Boutique, Rarity had already put on her seapony costume and everypony else, minus Fluttershy and Sokka, were heading into individual changing booths to put on their costumes.

"Mummy?" Rarity said aloud as she looked at each costume and Fluttershy winced when she saw each one, "No. Headless pony? No. Vampire Fruit bat? Uh, definitely no."

"I actually thought the vampire fruit bat outfit would be kind of cute," Sokka pointed out. Fluttershy just gave him an unamused look.

"Honey, I'd rather not relive that incident, especially when Wuya had control over me." Fluttershy remarked.

"Sorry," Sokka replied with a sheepish smile on his face, "Just saying you'd make a cute bat." Fluttershy just smiled but rolled her eyes as she waved a fore-leg for Rarity to continue.

"You see, Fluttershy," said Rarity, "the beauty of Nightmare Night is that you don't have to dress up as something scary."

Rarity turned around to summon another rack of costumes with her magic, causing her fish tail to unintentionally smack Sokka and Fluttershy in their faces.

"Ooh! Yes," said Rarity as she pulled out an ice blue gown and presented it to Fluttershy, "Period costumes are all the rage this year." Sokka oohed excitedly.

"And with your tiara," Sokka added as he placed the headpiece on his wife's head, "You can be a beautiful princess!" Sokka smiled happily as Fluttershy just made a face at the gown.

"What? No Good?" Rarity asked with concern.

"What's wrong dear?" Sokka asked, "Don't wanna be a beautiful princess?"

"What if we encounter something terrifying that Sokka can't fight against and need to get away quickly?" Fluttershy asked, "All those layers could slow me down, or worse, make me trip!"

"Oh, I never...considered that," said Rarity, "Never fear!" Rarity then took the gown away, turned around to browse the costumes, and her tail smacked Fluttershy and Sokka in the face again.

"Well since mobility is a big priority for your costume, dear," said Sokka , "Rares, do you have maybe a cute pixie fairy, or a beautiful butterfly? Oh! Oh! Do you have an adorable bunny costume? Flutters has always wanted to be a bunny!" Fluttershy smiled at the costume ideas.

"Sadly, those costumes were sold out weeks ago," said Rarity as she continued to browse.

"Aww..." Sokka groaned sadly, "are you sure you don't wanna be a princess, honey? I can be your prince?"

"Oh Sokka , you don't need to dress up to my prince," Fluttershy replied, "Just like I don't need to wear a gown to be your princess."

"That's true," said Sokka as they shared a cute nuzzle. Rarity giggled to herself when she found another costume idea.

"Oh, now this is a real stunner," Rarity hummed as she grabbed a dress and a mask, "I call it "Masquerade"! Just a simple black dress underneath but with this ornately decorated mask!" Rarity tried to show Fluttershy wearing the outfit.

"A mask?" Fluttershy spluttered as she pushed it away.

"No?" Rarity asked.

"They can just be so difficult to see out of," said Fluttershy.

"Yes, but this one has eyeholes," said Rarity as she used her magic to show the mask on herself. Sokka then appeared wearing a black tuxedo, top hat, red and black cape, and a white mask on his face.

"Fluttershy," Sokka said boldly as he held a red rose with his fore-leg, "look into your heart and find your inner warrior. It is your destiny!"

Fluttershy and Rarity stared and then giggled to each other.

"I see Sokka has embraced the costume and the mask," said Rarity, still wearing the other mask, "what about you? Want to give the mask a try?"

"W-what about being able to see what's to the left and to the right of me?" Fluttershy asked worried.

"I suppose your vision would be somewhat obscured," Rarity admitted as she put the mask down, "It's your first nightmare night out and about, and we do want you to be comfortable."

"What if I just wear the dress?" Fluttershy proposed.

"Oh, sure, dear," said Rarity with much hesitation as Fluttershy rushed into an empty changing booth and then added to herself, "It's so plain, it's frightening."

"Oh come on, Rares," said Sokka, "I think I might know a way to make Fluttershy's simple costume work. I'll be right back."

Sokka then ducked into a spare changing booth. As he and Fluttershy were getting dressed, the rest of the Mane ten came out of their changing booth all dressed in their own costumes. Pinkie was a roller derby pony with her mane tied up in poofy pig tails, Twilight was a sentry guard with golden armor and a helmet, Rainbow was an astronaut with a breathable space helmet, and Applejack was a lion with her tail braided.

Finally, Chase, Jade, Sunray, Nyx, and Clay were wearing shinobi costumes. Black for Chase, Pink for Jade, Blue for Sunray, Yellow for Nyx, and Red for Clay.

"Oh my! Look at all of you!" said Rarity, "My costumes fit you to a T!"

"And doesn't my loving husband look so handsome in his shinobi costume?" Twilight cooed, making Chase smile at her in response as the others giggled to each other.

"Yeah, and not to mention my siblings and Clay look amazing too." Chase said as Jade giggled in response while Sunray chuckled and Clay smirked in agreement.

"Hey, what about me, Mom?" Nyx asked with a cute pouty look, making Twilight giggle at her daughter's expense.

"Oh, Nyx, you look cute as well." Twilight said as she giggled some more.

"And you look good in your armor, honey." Chase said to his wife, making Twilight chuckle as she gave her husband a kiss.

"Hoo-wee, we're gonna have the best time!" said Applejack. It was then Fluttershy came out wearing the black dress.

"Hey, Fluttershy," said Rainbow, "Where's your costume?"

"I'm wearing it," said Fluttershy as she presented her black dress. The others looked a little stunned as Clay rubbed his chin.

"So...I'm guessing..." Clay said slowly.

"I get it!" Pinkie interrupted as she rolled around, "You're a robber escaping into the night! You're a ninja escaping into the night! You're black licorice escaping into the night!"

"I was gonna say you look dressed for a romantic date at a fancy restaurant," said Clay, a little annoyed at Pinkie taking so many guesses.

"Close," said Fluttershy, "I'm going to a masquerade ball. Without the mask." There was a long silence as the others gave Fluttershy puzzled looks. Pinkie even rolled backwards and fell.

"Oh, that's great!" said Twilight slowly, "Isn't that great?" When nopony answered, she firmly nudged Rainbow to speak up.

"Oh, yeah," Rainbow said in agreement.

"So creative," said Pinkie as Clay helped her stand back up on her skates.

"Great costume," said Applejack.

"Maybe instead of a masquerade ball," said Sokka, still wearing the tuxedo without the mask, but had his hair greased with black sunglasses on his face, "maybe your costume would make more sense like this."

Sokka then had Fluttershy wrap a fore-leg around his own and guided her towards a red carpet and they just stood still. The group looked puzzled until Rarity gasped.

"Ooh! I get it!" said Rarity, "You two are a celebrity couple on the red carpet!"

"Oh yeah," said Chase.

"That totally makes more sense!" said Rainbow.

"Yeah, that's really cool!" added Twilight as the others gave general praises. Fluttershy and Sokka both smiled.

(Scene changes)

Soon, they had gathered inside of Sugarcube Corner to play some games, which included Pin the ears on Nightmare Moon. Rarity just had finished placing her ear and removed her blindfold.

"I figured I'd save the really scary games for next year when Fluttershy's most used to it," said Pinkie as she tied the blindfold into Rainbow's face. Fluttershy couldn't help but look a little hurt despite the fact Pinkie was just being considerate.

"Honey, are you alright?" Sokka asked sweetly as Twilight gave her a supportive pat on the shoulder.

"I'm fine," Fluttershy replied quietly. Then Pinkie made Rainbow spin about very quickly.

"Round and round and round you go, where will you stop nopony knows!" sing sang all but Rainbow.

"Okay...go!" said Pinkie as she made Rainbow stop spinning.

Rainbow then wobbled and flipped about to try and recover from her dizziness and pasted her ear on the board. She then removed her blindfold and found that she was the closest to the actual ear location.

"Good luck beating that Fluttershy!" said Rainbow cockily as she put her helmet back on.

"Go on, Fluttershy." Chase gently encouraged the yellow pegasus mare. "It's your turn."

Fluttershy bit her lip.

"What's wrong, Fluttershy?" Jade asked with concern.

"Well, um, it's just that if I'm blindfolded and somepony were to leap out in front of me," said Fluttershy, "I'd never have a chance to defend myself."

"Um...honey?" said Sokka, "that's why I'm here." Fluttershy sighed.

"Still don't like the idea of not being able to see," Fluttershy replied insecurely. The group shared worried looks with each other.

"That's fine, darling," said Rarity in an understanding tone as she pushed Pinkie away, making the pink pony crash off screen, "You don't have to do anything you don't want to."

"We're just glad you're here," said Twilight.

"Yeah, Flutters," said Clay, "We wanna make sure you and Sokka have fun tonight."

"We don't have to finish that game," said Pinkie as she rolled past the group and had already recovered, "I have another one I know you'll love! Bobbing for Apples!" She then held a large bucket of apples and dumped the apples into a large tub of water. Fluttershy gulped.

"Fluttershy, what's wrong?" Twilight asked with concern.

"You've played bobbing for apples before," said Chase as he stood beside the bucket.

"And you're really good at it too," Sunray added.

"It's just that, um..." Fluttershy stuttered, "What happens if, when my head is deep down in the water, some kind of scary monster appears? How would I even hear to know I was under attack?" Pinkie blinked and Sokka looked most indignant.

"Honey," Sokka said, slightly annoyed, "Did you forget I'll be here to protect you while you play the game?"

"I'd prefer to take care of myself thank you," Fluttershy said indignantly.

"Then why am I even here?" Sokka retorted.

"Because I thought you were supporting me," Fluttershy said sternly.

"How can I when you clearly don't trust me?" Sokka snapped angrily.

"I do trust you!" Fluttershy said angrily.

"Well, you've got a funny way of showing it!" Sokka shot back and the two Pegasi growled at each other. The rest of the group, minus Chase as he glared at them annoyingly, looked rather uneasy.

"Would you two stop it?!" Chase said sternly, making the pegasus couple stop their fighting and turned to him in surprise. "This is supposed to be a fun time tonight and neither of your attitudes are gonna be most helpful if you don't support each other as well as act more maturely!"

Sokka and Fluttershy now looked guilty.

"Sorry." They said in unison.

It was then Pinkie got an idea and pushed herself backwards toward a table that had some brown bags with drawings of each pony on the front.

"Time for candy!" Pinkie announced.

"It is?" said Fluttershy and Sokka as they looked at the pink pony.

"I made candy bags," said Pinkie, "Each bag has been made with each of you in mind, complete with each of your favorite candies!"

"Ha! Awesome!" said Rainbow as she and the others grabbed their candy bags. Fluttershy nervously walked up to her bag as Sokka grabbed his.

"Yes!" Sokka exclaimed excitedly as he held a candy shaped like a cupcake cup in his fore-hoof, "Home-made chocolate peanut butter cups! Best served frozen overnight in the freezer." Sokka tossed one into his mouth.

"Mmm, delicious," said Sokka contently. Fluttershy hadn't bothered to take her candy bag just yet.

"Here. Take it," said Pinkie Pie, "Take it! What are you waiting for?"

"Well, it's just..." said Fluttershy nervously, "What if when I'm eating one of these chewy taffies, my mouth becomes glued shut and I can't scream for help?"

"Oh, honey," said Sokka, "I'm sure Pinkie took the time make sure not to give you any taffy or caramel candies to avoid that. Right, Pinkie?"

There was a long silence as Pinkie just stared and pulled the candy bag away. Sokka just face-hoofed himself. It didn't help that the others were staring at Fluttershy as well, some even tossed away candies they were looking forward to eating. Chase, Sunray, and Jade were the only ones confused about this. Nyx felt she was feeling some concern for Fluttershy.

"Oh, goodness," said Fluttershy sadly, "We've only just started to celebrate Nightmare Night together, and I'm already taking all the fun out it, aren't I?"

"You're not taking out all of the fun," said Pinkie.

"Just, like, ninety per-" Rainbow was then cut off when three piece of candy smacked her space helmet and she turned to see Twilight, Chase, Clay, Sunray, Jade, Nyx, and Sokka giving her vicious glares.

"...Some of it," Rainbow corrected.

"I really wanted to do this," said Fluttershy, "But there's just so many things that terrify me about tonight. I couldn't possibly predict what might upset me."

"Then why won't you just trust me to protect you, sweetheart?" Sokka asked gently, "That's why I'm here for you."

"I know, honey," said Fluttershy, "but I just...I don't want you having to always fight my fears for me, even if you want to. But it's just no fun when you can't predict when somepony or something could scare you."

"I understand dear," said Sokka as he held her close, "You don't like ponies scaring you and it's not something you can predict either. Getting frightened isn't fun for you."

Nyx began to think of something else as she felt nervous about something else too.

"You know, Fluttershy isn't the only pony afraid of this holiday." Nyx began, gaining everypony's attention.

"What do you mean, Nyx?" Twilight asked her daughter with a confused look.

"I'm actually afraid of this holiday as well." Nyx confessed, making the others surprised by her claim.

"You?! Scared?!" Rainbow Dash laughed before she noticed Twilight and Chase giving her stern glares, making her back down with a nervous look. "Sorry."

"Nyx, what are you talking about?" Chase asked his daughter as he stood by her side.

"Is it the candy?! Is it the party?! Is it the games?! Is-" Pinkie began to ask randomly before she was silenced by everypony shushing her as she smiled sheepishly.

"It's not exactly that. It's something else that makes this holiday scared for me." Nyx explained with a scared look.

"What is it, sweetie?" Twilight asked her daughter gently.

"I used to love this holiday a lot. It was one of my favorite times to enjoy with my previous family." Nyx explained with a smile before she became scared again. "But that was before…"

"Before what?" Applejack asked with a curious look.

Nyx felt hesitant at first before…

"Before Zhao." Nyx answered.

"Huh?" Everypony asked in surprise.

"What does this have to do with Zhao?" Sunray asked his niece with a curious look.

"Well, a long time ago back in my village, we too celebrated Nightmare Night. The joy of it brought the night to our village for games, candy, and parties." Nyx said as a flashback appeared in Nyx's past in her village, celebrating Nightmare Night as ponies were celebrating their fare share of traditional parties, candy, and games. Nyx and some ponies that were believed to be her old friends were playing a sparing game. "Of course, it was my favorite time of the year when me and my friends would practice our skills for a shadow combat strategy."

"So this was when you've been having the best time of your life after Celestia banished Luna to the moon when the Night Princess became Nightmare Moon." Chase's voice said, getting the point.

"Yeah, and life in my village to celebrate Nightmare Moon's banishment was an honor to my previous family's tradition." Nyx's voice said until her voice became serious as tension build up in the air when loud roaring was heard, making past Nyx and her friends along with the entire village to get their attention to the gates that led outside. It also stopped their festivities. "Until one day when we began to do Nightmare Night again, the Quinkan attacked."

Suddenly a massive Dragonquin destroyed the gates as two Wingquins appeared while roaring viciously at the ponies with the Dragonquin breathing a fire beam. Everypony from Nyx's old village screamed in absolute horror as they ran for their very lives. That's when the rest of the Quinkan army appeared and began the attack by destroying the festival.

"And then Zhao appeared with Kai beside him. He wanted their chi and so he ordered Kai to take the chi from a small group of my villagers, leaving us vulnerable so Zhao would take over our village for his own training ground." Nyx continued to narrate as Zhao and Kai used their special chi collecting powers to collect the chi from Nyx's fellow villagers. Then with a spell to control half of the villagers, they attacked as Nyx's parents' army fought back as well. But they were down and out.

"But then my previous parents then used a special chi power that sent Zhao and his Quinkan army away from their village right back to the Netherworld just like the White Lotus clan did long ago. We called it the Dragon's Tail." Nyx explained further as Nyx's parents used their mag and chi to create a golden Dragon spirit to blast the Quinkan, Zhao, and Kai away from the village. Then Nyx's parents used a special chi technique that cured the entire village and stripped the spell that Zhao controlled Nyx's fellow villagers back to normal.

All of the villagers cheered for Nyx's parents as Nyx gave her mother and father a loving hug as they returned the favor for their daughter with loving smiles. The villagers then began to celebrate not only Nightmare Night but also the defeat of Zhao and the Quinkan as the flashback ended.

"And from then on, we decided that Nightmare Night would also be given the nickname for our victory battle against the Quinkan. We called it 'The Night of The Quinkan'. It was the most important thing for our village to remember and we would always celebrate the holiday over our victory against Zhao." Nyx finished with a smile.

The group were speechless and amazed by Nyx's back story.

"Wow, honey." Twilight said to her daughter with an amazed smile. "Your parents must've been proud of themselves for defeating Zhao with that kind of ability."

Nyx nodded.

"And I remember this perfect fluid motion technique my parents taught me long ago." Nyx said.

The young alicorn filly placed her hooves together. She waved both hooves in a fluid motion almost like that of inner peace as her hooves glowed a dim bright glow.

The girls, Chase, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka were speechless of what they were seeing as Nyx's glowing hooves dim down a bit before the glow disappeared.

"That was amazing!" Twilight said in amazement.

"Awesome!" Rainbow Dash agreed.

Everypony agreed and praised Nyx's ability as she blushed a bit.

"I guess after your late parents taught you this, you had to hide it from Zhao and the Quinkan." Twilight said as she placed a hoof on her daughter's shoulder.

"They were and they said even most Quinkan soldiers can only be stopped by a master of chi." Nyx answered before she became sad. "But that all changed about two years ago before I met you guys, the village was attacked by the Quinkan again and Zhao took everything away from me. Now that I think about Nightmare Night, this brings back some of old good and bad memories of Zhao."

Chase felt sad for his daughter before he thought of something.

"Well, I'll tell you what." Chase said, gaining Nyx's attention. "How about I help you overcome your fear and maybe you can still celebrate Nightmare Night."

"That's a great idea, honey!" Twilight agreed with her husband before she turned her attention to her daughter. "What do you think, Nyx?"

Nyx thought about it for a moment and was hesitant for a moment before she smiled.

"Alright, I'll give it a shot." Nyx responded back with a brave smile.

"Good." Chase said before he turned his attention to Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka. "You guys wanna help out?"

"Sure!/Totally!/Anythin' ta help out!/Yeah!" The four choursed.

"Alright." Chase said before he turned his attention to the rest of the group. "We'll be back for the maze event soon."

Twilight nodded as she and Chase gave a kiss on the lips before the six went out to help Nyx to overcome her fear. Fluttershy sighed.

"Maybe Nyx does have a point about being scared." Fluttershy said with a look of compassion. "I just wish there was some other way I can do better at being brave."

Twilight pondered for a moment and then smiled.

"Unless...you were the one doing the scaring," said Twilight.

"Her scaring us?" Rainbow Dash scoffed and laughed at the idea. "Oh. You're being serious." Rainbow Dash asked in a surprised tone seeing the glares she is getting from her friends for her constant mean remarks towards the shy peagsus.

"The thing you hate is being scared, but if you're the one doing the scaring, then..." Twilight further explained as she raised a hoof so Fluttershy will get an idea.

"Then I can help you all have fun and I can still be a part of Nightmare Night!" Fluttershy then smiled as she got what Twilight is getting her to acknowledge.

"So you like that idea?" Twilight asked.

"I think I do! And I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I think I have the perfect idea for how I'm gonna do it!" Fluttershy agreed thinking she already has an idea.

"Really? Oh, this is so exciting!" Pinkie cheerfully spoke as her friends gave her encouraging smiles.

"Meet me at my cottage in an hour." Fluttershy told her friends in a spooky voice as she evilly smirked as she backed her way out of the door before changing back into her normal voice while popping her head back inside briefly. "Oh, I'm excited to see everypony soon!"

(Scene changes)

At a clearing just a few ways outside of Ponyville, Chase, Jade, Sunray, Sokka, Clay, and Nyx were right by a waterfall.

"Okay, Chase." Sunray said. "I'll bite. What exactly are we doing out here away from Ponyville."

"I told Twilight I would help Nyx overcome her fear about the Night of The Quinkan." Chase answered.

"And by helping her relax on doing chi again?" Jade asked, a little unsure. "This is gonna be a little harder than we thought."

"Auntie Jade, come on." Nyx said, pleadingly. "If I want to overcome my fear of the night, I at least gotta try."

"Yea. Ah agree with Nyx." Clay said, agreeing with Nyx. "We gotta at least give her a chance to try and master chi."

"But Chase, are you sure this is a good idea to do this?" Sokka asked. "I'm all up for helping out your daughter, but to be able to master chi, we don't have the skill to master them yet."

"Don't worry, we'll help Nyx overcome her fear of the dark in no time as well as master our new chi abilities." Chase assured his friend. "And we'll make it time for Applejack's corn maze as well to catch up with them. Okay, everybody ready?"

"Yeah." The five responded back.

Then they began their chi powers as they looked at a patch of dying flowers. They each waved their hooves in the fluid motion Nyx showed them almost like that of inner peace as their hooves glowed a dim bright gold. They then directed their hooves towards the flowers and the flowers began to glow a dim gold as they slowly rose back to life.

When they were done, Chase was the first to notice it as he was amazed by this.

"Wow, guys. It worked." Chase said, directing his team's attention to the flowers that were before dying to be reborn.

Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka chattered to each other in amazement. Chase looked down at his daughter as she picked up the flower in her hooves.

"Feeling better, honey?" Chase asked Nyx gently.

"Yeah, I think I'm pretty much feeling a little better." Nyx said to her adoptive father with a smile.

Chase smiled back, but the moment was ruined when the snapping of a twig was heard out of nowhere. This alerted the six as they looked around with open eyes.

"Who's there?" Chase called out.

There was silence at the moment before the sound of rocks tumbling was heard in the forest. Chase and his team looked in that direction.

"It's coming from that forest." Sunray said as he dishout his bo staff. "Come on!"

He charged into the forest as Jade and Clay followed after him with their respective weapons.

"Guys, no! It could be a trap!" Chase said with worry, but they didn't listen to him, Nyx, or Sokka.

Then a scream was heard from Jade, Sunray, and Clay as a green glow was seen before it disappeared. This alerted Chase, Nyx, and Sokka.

"Guys!" Sokka shouted as he, Chase, and Nyx opened their wings and flew into the forest to help their friends.

When they arrived, they didn't see any of their teammates.

"Guys?" Chase said in a whisper.

"Jade? Sunray?" Sokka said in the same whisper tone.

"Clay?" Nyx whispered as well.

Suddenly, the three felt a dark presence behind them, causing them to turn their heads around, letting out a gasp from their mouths at what they were seeing.

Standing in the shadows behind them was a familiar tall yak that towered over them, his glowing jade green eyes standing out in the darkness and seeming to pierce their very souls as growling was heard as well.

Kai was standing behind them with the Quinkan soldiers behind him, growling at Chase, Nyx, and Sokka. Wuya was standing right beside Kai as she smirked at them evilly.

"Uh oh." Chase said with worry as Nyx hid behind her father.

"Guys, get outta here! I'll handle this!" Sokka said as he dished out his machete and boomerang.

"No, we can't let you defend yourself! There's too many of them!" Chase shouted.

"There's no time!" Sokka argued as went into battle.

Seeing no option, Chase and Nyx quickly flew away as fast as they could.

Sokka then tried to fight Kai, but the yak simply kicked him against a tree and tied him in his chain.

"Now it's your turn, Sokka. And very soon, we'll have the Quinkan magic that has been stored into your wife's heart." Kai said deviously as his hands glowed the same jade green before everything went dark.

(Scene changes)

After waiting an hour the five ponies all make their way to her cottage where Twilight knocks on the door where it slightly opens.

"Welcome to Fluttershy's tea party!" Fluttershy's voice in attempt to sound eerily spoke as the group sees a darken room with tea cups on the table.

"Did she just say "tea party"?" Rainbow asked Twilight if this is Fluttershy's idea of scary in a "You've Got to be Kidding." tone.

"It sounds like it's a scary tea party?" Twilight responded trying to be hopeful and supportive of it as Rainbow sighs correctly feeling this is not going in the direction they had hoped she promised as they all make their way inside.

"Have a seat." Fluttershy's voice spoke again as they make their way to their seats. "Don't be scared of what awaits you. Go on. Pass the sugar." Rarity used her magic to do so with the cup meant to carry the sugar only to see there is none as Applejack flips the cup upside as nothing came out. "Oh, no! There is none! You're a terrible host! Rarity, put your coat on!"

"Why would I do that?" Rarity skeptically questioned.

"You need to cover up because no one has complimented your dressssssss!" Fluttershy answered as Rarity rolled her eyes in annoyance rather than freaking out.

"Pinkie Pie, look to your left and ask your best friend to pass the cucumber sandwiches!" Fluttershy told Pinkie as she looked are confused.

"Huh? I can't. There's nopony there." Pinkie responded still very confused.

"That's right. Because she didn't care to show uuuuuup." Fluttershy responded back.

"What?" Pinkie asked still confused.

"A friend who didn't come through. That must scare you to the coooore. Quick, everypony, look behind you!" Fluttershy spoke as something dangles from the ceiling.

"Uh, what are those?" Rainbow Dash asked as they all see cardboard drawings of ponies.

"They're unplanned guests. Your woooorst nightmare. You don't have enough food for them!" Fluttershy spoke as a toy kitten bounced across the table while Rainbow continues to be very unimpressed with this sad display. "Oh, no! There's a tiny kitten that needs a home! But you are over-scheduled right now. You don't have time to help!" Fluttershy continued as everypony eyes each other very confused at the weak attempt until they spotted Fluttershy hiding behind the couch. "I said, "You don't have time to help!" This should appear to scare you!"

Fluttershy attempted to keep up the act as she spoke through a tin can until she gave up and popped her head back up.

"Why don't you look terrified? You showed up to a party and everypony was extremely disappointed in you. Can you imagine anything more upsetting?" Fluttershy wondered why her idea didn't work.

"It was a really good try, darling, but the scares at Nightmare Night are of an entirely different nature." Rarity kindly complimented her efforts while telling her that it takes much more effort into really scaring somepony.

"It was really creative, though. I never would have thought of... all this." Twilight complimented her for her efforts as one of the drawings falls from the ceiling.

"Oh, I'm just not cut out for this. Just go on without me." Fluttershy sadly lamented in defeat that she is not a pony who can get into the holiday spirit.

"Oh, no. We couldn't possibly." Rarity insisted otherwise.

"You have to. This is the night you look forward to all year." Fluttershy responded not wanting to spoil the fun all because of her timid nature.

"We could... stay here?" Pinkie offered still insisting that they wouldn't leave her.

"It's okay. I really want you all to have fun." Fluttershy again insisted as she made her way to the door and opened it for her friends to leave. "This is how I spend every Nightmare Night. Please go. I'll be fine."

With much hesitation, the others finally did what Fluttershy asked of them.

"Eh, it's funny. I actually thought she had an idea for something really scary for a second there." Pinkie noted to Applejack as she gently pushed her outside.

"She definitely tried her hardest." Applejack noted that she did put effort in trying.

"I did try my hardest," said Fluttershy.

Angel then made his presence known and thumped his foot on the table and crossed his arms indignantly.

"Or...maybe not. I suppose I could have gone with something a bit scarier," said Fluttershy as Angel smiled in agreement, "You're right! I've been taking baby steps! I think it's time for grown up ones!"

Fluttershy pondered for a moment before turning to Angel.

"I don't suppose you have any ideas on how we could do that?" Fluttershy asked as Angel rubbed his paws deviously.

(Scene changes)

Back at Sweet Apple Acres, the group had picked up Spike and were now heading towards the corn maze.

"Everypony's linin' up for the corn maze, y'all!" said Applejack, "Let's go!"

"Oh, yeah!" said Spike, "I can't believe we're finally doin' this!" It was then the group froze when somepony appeared wearing a black cloak removed their hood and revealed a real life horse face. They whinnied ominously at the group.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The entire group screamed and then they all laughed as the pony wearing the horse mask welcomed them to the maze.

"It's a good thing Fluttershy isn't here because she would never be able to handle this!" said Rainbow.

The group continued their way about the maze. They had just past a dark intersection when some green eyes spied on them. Pinkie looked behind herself and yelped, making everypony turn around and gasp when they saw a familiar looking stallion dressed as a mummy.

"Boooo...Eeyup," said Big Mac. The group laughed and Big Mac looked rather disappointed.

The group then ventured on as Big Mac went back to his hiding place. It wasn't long before they suddenly heard the sound of something crunching beneath their hooves.

"What. Is. That. Sound?" Rarity winced as Pinkie rolled to a stop and looked down at the ground to see some white colored sticks.

"It looks like...bones!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Everypony screamed. Rainbow then hovered down to get a closer look.

"Look like a bunch of dried sticks painted white to me," said Rainbow indignantly.

"Hey, try to keep up the illusion, would ya?" Applejack scolded.

Soon, the pathway leads the group into a dark underground area. Rarity then chose to light up their horn when the group found dozens of eyeballs staring at them.

"Gah!" Rarity and Spike exclaimed.

There was a pause before everypony laughed as they ran out of the cave.

"Whoo!" Pinkie spluttered in disgust as she rolled out the exit of the dark area. It was then dark figured zoom behind them, startling Applejack.

"Uh, o-of course I do," said Applejack as she backed up toward the group, "It was, uh..." Before Applejack could explain, some floating ghosts appeared and started moaning.

The group were shaken a bit before they zipped away.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Everypony screamed as they ran off in one direction.

But then had to run in opposite direction when the three ghosts over took the group and chased after them. Then there was trouble, Rarity's hind legs got tangled in her fish tail and she tripped. Spike looked back to see Rarity struggling to recover.

"Fluttershy had a point with the layers on the dress," Rarity grunted as Spike helped Rarity to her hooves and they ran off before the ghosts could catch up with them.

Applejack looked back, but because she wasn't looking where she was going she ended up tumbling down a hole in front of a tree. Twilight skidding to a stop to avoid falling down, but Pinkie crashed into her and they both tumbled down the hole. Pinkie tried to avoid falling by grabbing into Rainbow, but ended up taking herself and the blue Pegasus down the hole.

The group groaned as they recovered and stood up. Rarity used her horn to lit up the dark pit.

"What is this?" Rarity asked in a panic, "Is it a tunnel? Where does it lead?!"

It was then the opening above was sealed shut. Twilight lit her horn to light up the area as Spike quivered fearfully. Twilight then turned to the orange pony with a panicked look on her face.

"Which way are we supposed to go now?!" Twilight asked frightfully.

"Uh, I don't know!" said Applejack frantically, "I don't know what's goin' on!" Rainbow tried to open the hole above again, but no luck.

"What do you mean?" Rainbow asked, "Didn't you help plan this?"

Applejack just looked rather nervous until she noticed a familiar figure sitting in her rocking chair in the dark.

"Whew," said Applejack, "There's Granny Smith. Not that I was ever scared, 'cause I wasn't. I'm pretty good actress when I wanna be."

She confidently walked up to Granny Smith.

"Granny?" Applejack asked as she tapped the experienced pony's shoulder, only for her head to fall off and revealing it was just a skulled with Granny's mane on it.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" Applejack screamed as she ran for her life. The others just watched her run off...for one second.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" the rest of the group screamed and followed Applejack. They didn't run far before they were trapped as Pinkie rolled past the group and smashed into a wall off screen.

"Applejack, didn't you know about any of this?!" Spike asked.

"Alright, I got to admit I didn't know about any of this," said Applejack, "but maybe they're just tryin' to make it interestin' for me, too! I'm sure Granny Smith or Big Mac is behind this."

"Are those peeled grapes or eyeballs starin' at ya from beyond the grave?" Granny Smith asked the cutie mark crusaders as she gave a cackle, leaving the three fillies stunned. Then Big Mac appeared.

"Eeyup," he said to them.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" the three fillies screamed playfully and ran off. Now Applejack was beginning to panic.

"That's what we were supposed to do!" said Applejack, "I don't know why were down here! This is really scarin' me now!" She and Pinkie huddled up as their teeth shattered.

Twilight walked up to them with a face that was about to have a mental breakdown.

"Why didn't Chase, Clay, Sokka, and the others just come with us?!" Twilight said with tears forming in her eyes. "If only they were here, we wouldn't be scared!"

Twilight sobs as she sits down and covers her face with her hooves.

"Twilight get a grip!" said Rainbow as Twilight continued to cry. "I'm sure Chase and the others are fine while practicing their chi with Nyx!"

"But you don't know that!" Twilight sobbed, "Nopony knows why this is happening! I want my husband and my daughter back! I'm scared! I'm so scared!"

"You will get them back," said Rarity in a gentle but firm tone, "Just don't give up hope."

Twilight sniffled as she calmed down a little. It was then they heard some loud footsteps, which made everypony huddle up together. As the ground continued to rumble, terrifying everypony, they saw a giant green monster approach them.

"How did that get down here?!" Pinkie asked fearfully. The green monster gave a loud growl at them.

"RUUUUUUUUUUN!" Rainbow screamed and everypony except for Pinkie took off. Pinkie was so frightened that she couldn't roller skate in any direction until Spike rushed over and pulled her away. The group didn't get too far before something very strong and sticky trapped them.

"I can't see!" Pinkie cried out, unaware that Rarity's fish tail was over her eyes.

"I can barely move!" said Rainbow as she and the rest of the group struggled to free themselves from a rather giant spider web.

"It's like glue!" Rainbow added as she tried her best to break free but it was no good. Twilight then looked and saw that the green monster had caught up with them and started to charge toward them.

Twilight began to panic before she quickly used her horn to make everypony teleport off the web and to the other side just as the monster crashed into it. They quickly found the exit to the underground area and found themselves along the edge of a cliff and the corn maze was down below them in the background.

"I don't see my husband, my daughter, my brother and sister-in-law anywhere!" said Twilight as she scooped the area.

"What about my husband?!" Applejack asked with concern.

"I don't see him or Sokka either!" Twilight responded back.

It was then they heard some evil laughter behind them. The group all turned to see up on a tree hanging upside down was a bat pony.

The creature hissed, revealing her long sharp fangs before zooming down and ripping the dragon head from Spike's costume off.

The female bat pony then tossed the head aside as she glared at them with their red eyes. Everypony whimpered as they huddled up together, clearly terrified as they shook and trembled with fear. Even Rarity was on the verge of tears. The glare of the bat pony softened as they saw how frightened everypony looked. She quickly exchanged a saddened look as she landed.

"Oh, my!" Fluttershy said with remorse as she flew down to the ground and stepped out into the light to reveal herself. "I'm so, so sorry. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Fluttershy" Applejack asked in surprise.

"It was you the whole time." Rainbow Dash asked in the same tone.

"I can't believe it." Twilight said in awe.

"That... was..." Rarity said with her eyes wide open with a smile on her face.

"THE BEST THING EVER!" Pinkie shouted completely amazed out of her mind with a squee.

"It was way more terrifying than the most terrifying thing I could have thought of!" Rainbow Dash said just as amazed as Pinkie as she twirls around Fluttershy.

"You out-nightmared the scariest part of the corn maze!" Applejack complimented.

"How did you do all this?!" Twilight asked.

"After you left, I realized that I wasn't ready to give up on Nightmare Night. So I asked Granny Smith if I could try to make the maze even scarier for my friends." Fluttershy explained as she walked opposite from them before turning her head back to them.

"You came up with all of this?" Rainbow Dash asked in surprise

"I had some help." Fluttershy said as she revealed the ghosts that chased after them earlier appeared were really Fluttershy's bird friends hiding underneath glow in the dark bed sheets. Angel wearing a Dracula cape hoped onto her shoulder. "Angel was the scary figure that kept scurrying after you in the maze."

Angel bowed before them as a spider climbed over Fluttershy's shoulder "Fuzzy Legs made the sticky wall that made it difficult for you to see and move." The spider gave a salute, to which Applejack saluted back in return.

"Harry was the especially scary monster." Fluttershy said as Harry arrived on the scene and revealed himself as he removed his mask with a proud smile.

"Wow! that was inspired!" said Twilight.

"You have to do this every year!" said Pinkie.

"Uh-huh!" said Applejack.

"Absolutely!" said Rarity.

"Every year!" said Twilight.

"Yeah!" said Rainbow.

Fluttershy looked a little uncertain at the moment as she removed her set of vampire teeth.

"We could celebrate Nightmare Night together every year," said Fluttershy, "But the truth is… I really don't want to."

"You don't?!" Pinkie said in surprised as she bounced on her tail.

"But you've both done it," said Rarity, "You found a way that we can all have a fabulous time together."

"Yes, but I've also realized something." Fluttershy said as she took off her bat wings. "You all may love Nightmare Night and I may be good at being a part of it, but it's no fun for me to see my friends feel like they're in danger, even if I know they're not. I really don't like it. It's just not my cup of tea."

"Spoooooooooky tea?" Pinkie Pie jokingly and spookingly asked as she held a flashlight over Fluttershy's eyes.

"No. Just regular tea." Fluttershy kindly responded as she turned off the flashlight and gently pushed Pinkie away. "We do lots of fun things together, but I'm afraid this just isn't gonna be one of them. Actually, I'm not afraid. I'm perfectly fine with it."

"Then we are, too," said Twilight as they all gathered for one big group hug.

Then Harry gave a happy growl as she grabbed everypony to turn it into a giant bear hug.

As they all smiled with each other, Twilight peaked out one of her eyes to see the full moon. But then all of a sudden Chase and Nyx came into view while they panted with terrified looks. Seeing them made Twilight gasped as she widens her eyes in surprise.

"Chase?! Nyx?!" Twilight said in surprise as she flew out of the hug and flew to her family as the others noticed this.

Twilight came up to her family as she supported her husband. Nyx hugged her mother fearfully with her eyes shut.

"Mom." Nyx choked on a sob as tears fell down from her eyes. "It was horrible."

"What happened?" Twilight asked as she held her daughter protectively in return.

"We got attacked by Kai, Wuya, and the Quinkan." Chase informed his wife. "They've taken the chi from Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka!"

"What?!" The other girls and Spike asked in horror.

"Even Clay?!" Applejack asked with worry and horror of what happened to her husband.

"And Sokka?!" Fluttershy asked, horrified.

"Yeah." Chase responded back.

"They're on their way over her to Ponyville." Nyx informed them, scared. "The Night of The Quinkan has just begun again. It's only a matter of time before they come."

Suddenly an arrow head landed beside the three, making them gasp and Fluttershy's animal friends scurried off into a bush in fright to hide. Then they all shadowy figures as they stepped out to reveal themselves to be Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka glaring at them with their eyes glowing the same jade green color.

"Oh no! It's true!" Spike said in alarm as the others were horrified, but Chase, Nyx, and Twilight glared at the bravely as they dished out their respective weapons and leaped in front of their friends.

Mind controlled Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka took out their respective weapons as they got into a fighting stance.

Out of a green mist that begun to form from behind the four mind controlled ponies came Kai, slowly twirling his blades as he let them scrape the ground.

Chase and the others scowled at Kai as he stepped in front of the four possessed ponies, momentarily gazing at the group. Coming on top side of the cave was Wuya as she unseathed a dagger.

"There is no escape for you and your friends, Chase." Kai said deviously while twirling his blades as they continued to scrape the ground. "It's time to put you out of your misery."

"We're not letting you get away with this, Kai!" Chase said angrily.

Kai chuckled amusingly.

"Oh, that may be. But you will meet your fate soon enough. Just as we extract the magic from Fluttershy." Kai said before he wraps his chains around the frightened yellow pegasus as she yelped in surprise.

Then Kai held out his hands, his palms glowing green again as some of the orange Quinkan magic was being extracted from Fluttershy as she screamed in pain. Once the magic was extracted from her, Fluttershy knelt down as Kai held the Quinkan energy in his palm before he absorbed he unwraps his chains from Fluttershy and retracts them.

"Alright, boys and girls! Enjoy your meal." Wuya said deviously.

Possessed Jade, Sunray, Sokka, and Clay charged forward at the group of heroes along with the Quinkan following in pursuit.

"Clay! Wait!" Applejack said, trying to reach out to her husband as she placed both hooves on Clay's shoulders, only for her to get swatted away.

"Sunray, stop!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she zoomed for possessed Sunray, but he then flicked the rainbow maned mare in the face, twisted her arm as she screamed in pain before Sunray kicked her in the stomach, sending her on her back.

"Leave her alone!" Fluttershy demanded as she and Rarity ran to help Rainbow, but Jade intervened and landed a solid spinning back kick at the two mares, sending them on their backs.

"Jade!" Pinkie yelled out as she got infront of the possessed unicorn kunoich as she tried to reach out to her. "It is me! Your bestie!"

But possessed Jade only responded back by gripping Pinkie's arm, palm strike her in the face, and performed a bicycle kick to her chin as the pink party pony was sent flying in the air, making possessed Sokka swoop in as he kicked her in the stomach. Pinkie landed on her back as she yelped in pain.

Chase was facing off against five Protoquin as they charged straight at him and tried to punch him. But Chase proved to be quick as he blocked everyone of the attacks they threw at him, performed a set of punches and kicks at them.

Twilight was surrounded by five Pyroquin as she blocked everyone of their attacks before she performed a set of katas on them before she spin kicked them aside. Nyx high kicked two Electricquin aside, punched three Pyroquin away, and used her magic to blast two Protoquin away.

Chase kicked two Protoquin aside as he saw Jade going for Twilight.

"Jade! You gotta fight the evil!" Twilight shouted despertaly, trying to reach out to her sister-in-law, who wasn't listening.

"Evil is more fun." Possessed Jade replied back.

"Jade, no!" Twilight said as she reached her left forehoof out to stop Jade, but her possessed sister-in-law grabbed it and twisted it, making Twilight grunt in pain.

"No!" Chase shouted as he rushed forward to help his wife. "Leave her alone! JADE, NO!"

"Huh?" Possessed Jade exclaimed as Chase spun her around, letting Twilight go.

"No. Look at me, Jade. Look at me." Chase said to his possessed little sister. "It's me. It's your big brother, Chase Young."

"Yes, he's your family." Twilight said, trying to get Jade to listen. "We're your friends."

"Friends?" Possessed Jade said with a smirk as she chuckled deviously. "I don't have any friends."

That's when possessed Sunray gripped Chase by the shoulder, spun him around and kicked him in the chest as the alicorn stallion was sent flying in the air before he landed on his back as he grunted in pain. Jade double kicked Twilight as she grunted in pain, falling on her stomach.

"You're mine, Chase Young!" Possessed Sunray said as he approached his elder brother, who got back on his hind legs, lit his horn as his aura hands appeared and brought his fists in a fight stance.

"Sunray, listen to me." Chase said, trying to reach out to his possessed younger brother. "You don't want to do this. Kai is the enemy."

"Liar!" Possessed Sunray as he charged at Chase, but the alicorn master flew in the air, landed behind him, and got into a fighting stance.

"Sunray, I'm not lying. He and Wuya are just using you." Chase said as he picked his katana swords up and sheathed them.

Possessed Sunray charged at Chase, but the alicorn stallion took out a chain, twirled it and lassoed it around his younger brother. Possessed Sunray tried to break free, but to no avail.

"Release me!" Possessed Sunray demanded as Chase walked up to him with a gentle smile.

"Relax, Sunray." Chase said as he began to do his chi powers while doing the same liquid motion technique as his aura hands glowed the same bright glow light.

He placed the palm of his left aura hand on Sunray's head, making him freeze as his eyes stopped glowing green and they returned back to their original blue color. He shut them for a moment as he breathed heavily while Chase unwrapped the chains around his younger brother.

"Sunray?" Chase asked as he placed his right aura hand on his little brother's shoulder.

Sunray groaned before looked at his elder brother.

"How's a going, bro?" Sunray asked with a smile.

Kai and Wuya were shocked by this.

"What's going on?!" Kai exclaimed in surprise.

"How should I know?" Wuya replied back, just as surprised as Kai, but Twilight and Nyx each fired a magic blast from their horns at the unicorn sorceress as she was flung in the air on her back.

"Honey, you're a genius!" Twilight exclaimed in amazement as possessed Jade jumped in front of her and Nyx.

"Now your chi will belong to the master." Possessed Jade said with an evil smirk when suddenly she was caught in a magic lasso.

Possessed Jade struggled to break free, but to no avail.

"Let me go!" Possessed Jade shouted as Nyx performed the chi technique as her aura hands glowed bright gold and she placed the palm of her aura hand on her possessed aunt's head.

This made possessed Jade freeze as her glowing eyes disappeared to return back to the normal green color. Jade breathed heavily with her eyes shut for a second before she reopened them again to see Twilight and Nyx infront of her.

"Twilight? Nyx?" Jade asked, seeing her sister-in-law and her niece smiling at her. "What happened?"

"You were under Kai's chi spell." Twilight explained before she hugged her sister-in-law. "It's good to have you and Sunray back, Jade."

Jade smiled as she returned the hug as Nyx hugged her as well.

"Uh, a little help over here?!" Applejack shouted, gaining the three mares' attention as they saw her and Rainbow Dash pinned down by Clay.

"Coming!" Chase shouted as he, Sunray, Jade, Twilight, and Nyx rushed forward to their friends' aid.

Sunray then grabbed Clay and yanked him away from the two mares the Earth Pony stallion pinned down, restraining him.

Possessed Clay struggled to break free as Jade came in front of him and performed the chi technique again. She placed her bright glow aura hand on Clay's head as he freezed a bit. His glowing green eyes disappeared as he breathed heavily with his eyes shut. He reopened them again, showing that they were back to their normal brown color as he placed a hoof on his head.

"Wha-what happened?" Clay asked, a little dizzy.

"Clay!" Applejack shouted in joy as she hugged her husband happily with tears in her eyes. Clay smiled as he hugged his wife as well.

Possessed Sokka had pinned Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy just as he was about to strike at them, but he got restrained by Chase as the alicorn stallion held him with his magic.

"Let me go!" Possessed Sokka shouted as he tried to break free, but it was no use.

Then together, Twilight and Nyx performed the chi technique again as their aura hands glowed bright gold again before they placed them on Possessed Sokka's head.

Possessed Sokka froze as his eyes stopped glowing green and returned back to the normal dark blue color. He groaned a bit with his eyes shut and he placed a hoof on his head.

"Oh, my head." Sokka said as he groaned a bit before he opens his eyes. "What happened?"

"Sokka!" Fluttershy shouted in joy as she hugged her husband, making him surprised at first before he hugged his wife back with a smile.

"It's good to have you guys back." Pinkie said with a smile as Jade, Sunray, Clay, and Sokka smiled in return.

"Thanks to you guys, we're no longer under Kai's power." Clay said with relief when a sword cut off their reunion, making the Mane thirteen yelp in surprise as it carved a line in the dirt around them.

Kai approached them as he lassoed them all together as they grunted in surprise before they struggled in an attempt to break free, but they were not strong enough. Kai smirked at them evil as he stood in front of them with Wuya beside him as the Quinkan soldiers encircled around the group with growls they sent at the twelve ponies and baby dragon.

"I've already had enough of this." Kai said with a smirk before he glared at the Mane thirteen. "You fools actually thought you could defeat us, did you?"

"Well, yeah." Pinkie retorted as the others glared at Kai.

"It's time that I put an end to you pathetic ponies and baby dragon once and for all." Kai said deviously as he lift one of his swords in air as he glared at Chase. "Starting with you, Chase Young!"

Chase and the others closed their eyes, waiting for the pain as the screen went slow motion as Kai brought his sword on Chase in an attempt to end him when suddenly a sai came in to view flying right at Kai's blade, knocking it off his hand. The screen resumed back to normal motion.

"What?!" Kai shouted in surprise as the others were surprised by this.

"WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE?!" A voice shouted as Kai turned to who shot the sai at him, only to get kicked in the face pretty hard and was sent flying on his back.

Jumping front of Chase and the others in a fight stance was a teenage male dragon with a dark red color scaly skin muscular body, goat horns on his head, an arrow head on the end of his tail, his eyes were green, wore a brown belt on his waist, with shoulder and knee pads on arms and legs, a green bandana wrapped on his head and his eyes were green. He was also carrying twin sais.

Jumping into his aid were three other male teenage dragons.

One of them had a blue scaly skin color, his under belly was light blue, a strong solid muscular body with a long tail, orange spikes, his eyes were a forest green color. He wore white shoulder and knee pads. He wore a white bandana around his head, and he held a spear.

The other male teenage dragon had a green olive scaly skin body a little muscular as well, white under belly, his eyes were dark orange, his spins looked like Spike's only thinner. He wore purple shoulder and knee pads as well as a green bandana around his head. He was also carrying a katana sword.

Finally, the last one was slightly taller than the others with a grayish scaly skin body with spines going down to his tail and his eyes were purple. He wore brown shoulder and knee pads while carrying twin tanto blades.

"You got a lot of nerve picking on ponies, Kai!" The first male dragon teenager said angrily.

"Echo?!" Kai and Wuya shouted in surprise before they glared at the four teenage dragons.

Chase and the others were surprised to see four teenage dragons coming to their, which was unexpected for them since the last time Chase, Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash had with Spike in the Dragon lands.

Echo turned to them.

"Hey, did we miss the party?" Echo asked before he turned his attention to Kai with a glare. "Alright, Kai! Stay away from these ponies. You and Wuya have five seconds to get out of here with the rest of the Quinkan or you're going to Tartarus!"

Kai scowled at Echo before he snorted.

"This isn't over, Echo." Kai snarled before he tossed three smoke bombs to the ground, creating a cloud of smoke.

When the cloud of smoke faded away, Kai, Wuya, and the Quinkan were gone. Seeing that the danger was over, Echo and his team turned to the thirteen ponies and Spike as they were still chained up while also stunned at their unexpected saviors.

With a swing of his sais, Echo freed the Mane thirteen as they got up and stretched from being chained up.

"Are you guys okay?" Echo asked with concern.

"Yeah, we're fine." Chase said. "Thank you for saving us back there."

"Always a pleasure." Echo said sincerely.

"Who are you guys?" Spike asked curiously.

"I'm Echo." Echo introduced himself to the ponies and baby dragon.

"My name's Teejay." The gray male dragon introduced.

"I'm Sly." The blue male dragon introduced himself too.

"And I'm Mikey." The green male dragon lastly introduced.

"But why did you guys help us? You're dragons." Rainbow Dash asked with a curious glare.

The four teenage dragons glared at her.

"We're not like the other dragons in the Dragon Lands." Echo replied back. "We're different than what others think of us."

"We've been trained in the same art of Jiu Jitsu thanks to master Pakku Shisho." Teejay added.

Hearing this made the group of ponies gasp in surprise.

"What? You guys know of the White Lotus clan?" Twilight asked the teenage dragons, who nodded in reply.

"Yeah. We're their old allies." Echo answered. "A long time ago, the rumors of the Quinkan were at large big time. Pakku had decided that it was time for him and his clan to ask any assistance who would help them in their quest to stop the senseless war Zhao had started a while back. So he decided that ponies would not be the only ones who would learn about self defense, but also with the help of non-ponies too. Our families saw that the White Lotus clan was in need of help so they joined them and they also passed down their teachings to us."

"And we'd just like to say that it is a great honor to meet you, Chase Young, Jade, Young, and Sunray Steel. The grandchildren of the great Darius Hisomi." Teejay said directly to Chase, Jade, and Sunray.

"We wanted to offer our condolences to the loss of your grandfather a while back." Sly added. "He sounded like a great pony from what we've heard."

Chase and his siblings were stunned before they smiled as they bowed in respect to the four dragons.

"Thank you." Chase said respectively. "And we really appreciate you guys helping us back there."

"Yes. I thought all dragons were vicious and notoriously reckless." Fluttershy added.

"Well, you guys have four non-pony friends who aren't that dangerous and unpredictable." Echo said assuringly. "We just don't act like others. After hearing all about you guys, we decided that maybe it was a good time to jump in and aid you all."

The ponies and Spike smiled in gratitude.

"Well, we better get going." Echo said. "With the Quinkan on the loose, there's no telling what Zhao has other plans for his conquest of destroying the world."

"And you guys have just made allies with us." Mikey added. "See you all around!"

With that, the four dragons flew off into the mountains as the ponies and Spike waved goodbye to them.

Twilight turned to Nyx with a smile.

"Well, sweetie. Have you finally conquered your fear of the Night of The Quinkan?" Twilight asked her daughter with a smile.

"Yup." Nyx said as Fluttershy's critter friends came out from hiding in the bush and approached the group. "And it looks like this was truly the best Nightmare Night ever."

The group laughed in agreement. Up above, a small group of bats flew across the full moon.

(Scene changes)

Back at the cottage, Fluttershy, Sokka, and several of her animal friends were all gathered under the couple's bed. Fluttershy was just holding a book in her fore-hooves as Sokka had a fore-arm around her protectively.

"I don't know why I doubted myself for a second," said Fluttershy with a content sigh, "Now this is what I call a perfect Nightmare Night."

"You said it honey," said Sokka as he gave her a light nuzzle and the rest of the animals got comfortable.

(Scene changes)

Meanwhile back at the Well of Shade, Kai and Wuya inform Zhao of what happened. Even though Zhao was angry at hearing the White Lotus clan's non-pony allies saving Chase and his friends, he smirked at hearing the Quinkan magic was out of Fluttershy.

"Well, even though Echo and his three dragon friends have come to save the ponies, the Quinkan magic we have extracted from Fluttershy was an initiative." Zhao said sinisterly.

"Yes, Master Zhao." Kai agreed as he and Wuya bowed in respect.

"But since we have all we need to begin our next plan of stopping the Sonic Rainboom, we will need another ally to stop Chase and his friends once more." Zhao said firmly. "We cannot allow them to stand in our way anymore."

Kai and Wuya bowed in respect before they left off screen to get ready for the next phase of their plan. Zhao turned his attention to his orb as something was about to take shape.

"And you will be the perfect weapon will have in our army once again to serve us." Zhao said sinisterly as the orb revealed a huge block of ice with the shadow of some sort of anthropomorphic snow leopard frozen solid inside it in the mountains from the Crystal Empire. "When you rise once more, my student, it is time for you to wake from your frozen slumber."

We couldn't tell who or what is inside the block of ice, but Chase and his friends will be ready to face off against their new opponent.
