Kamui truly did appreciate Sorata, even if he didn't act like it. The sound of the other's voice was soothing even if Sorata ever said was lies. He depended on them. They were one of the few constants in his life at the moment, almost making it stable, bearable. Whenever he heard Sorata speak, it was hard to believe that the other might not always been around, that he wouldn't always hear that kansai dialect yammering in his ear. So much so, that every moment Sorata wasn't speaking, a lump would form in his throat.
