Once Lirlia arrived to Coruscant and to the Jedi Temple, she searched for Master Yoda and told him about what she was told by Anakin, Obi-Wan and Shaak Ti.

"Hmm... interesting, that is." He simply said. "Excited, were you?"

Lirlia nodded. "I felt like... I was back at home, and fighting monsters again. The adrenaline when facing them, the way I have to move, the way I've got to watch for my companions as they also watch over me." She rambled then sighed. "I felt like at home." A sad smile was printed on her face as she looked down.

"An unconscious usage, you did. Proof that you can use the Force, it may. But, use it like we do, that answer, I do not have."

"It's ok. Back in my home, we never knew about the existence of the Force, but we knew that monsters can use their own ailments to affect different process in our bodies."

"Such as, if may I ask?" Yoda asked.

"Well, there five important ones, Fire Blight, that'll injure you over the time. Thunder Blight, it'll stop your natural recovery, and you can get stunned more easily. Ice and Water Blight. They affect your stamina, making your movements harder and more heavy to move. And Dragon Blight, the worse one, that'll nullify your weapon's element attack, and even will make your weapon weaker."

"Hmm... heard of those, I have not."

"I thought so. Haven't seen any of those when fighting."

"A way to cure those, is there?"

"There is. You can do three... no, four things. The first one, is to wait until it wears off naturally. Other way is to consume a Nullberry, a berry that'll cure you from those. Another way is to use an armor strong to certain elements or add decorations that'll enhance those resistances. And the fourth, that has connection to the third, is to place a certain type of jewel called Resistor, will make you immune to those elements."

"Hmm... to give that kind of strength and advantage to the user, connected to the Force, those jewels may be."

"Almost everything that I tell you is related to the Force, somehow." Lirlia said.

"Strangers to that kind of jewels or crystals, we are not. Many crystals, connected to the Force, are. Kyber Crystals, for example, the hearts of the Lightsabers, are they." Yoda turned on his blade. "Each crystal is bind to a Jedi. Each crystal also test each individual to obtain them. The test can be trust, bravery, humble, faith... goes on, the list do."

"Hmm... but my kind of jewels and crystals can be made. Only few can be found in nature, but have to go under a certain process to reveal what can they do. And not any jewel can be placed freely. There are spaces on each armor and weapons that can hold different shapes of jewels."

"Wish to see one of those, I do. Have any on you, do you?"

Lirlia nodded and took a jewel from her armor and gave it to Master Yoda. He looked at it for a few seconds, tilting his head to the side before giving it back to Lirlia.

"Strange, the jewel felt. Healing properties, I felt. Exactly, can it do?"

"This jewel can increase my normal recovery speed. We call it... mmm..." she trailed of. "Well, we call it 'Temporal damage'. It's temporal damage that gets healed by your own body without any help of a healing object. I felt necessary to put it in my armor the day I appeared here."

"Hmm... recovering, how much can you with it?"

"It depends on how much damage you took. Obviously, there is an amount of healing you can self heal without any healing object's help."

"Feel the jewel full of life, I did. Strong in the Force it is. But serves another purpose, it does. Like the rest of your jewels." Yoda said. "Needed any healing object, have you?"

Lirlia scratched the back of her head. "Not really. And the shots that my armor received I could barely feel them. I do recover when I rest, but I believe that never I had used a healing potion."

"Force technics to heal one self, there are. Acting similar in that regard, your jewels do, I believe. But, automatically, the jewel heals you. Not a conscious thing, it is."

"This is getting me lost." She said while Master Yoda chuckled. "As long as it does what it's meant to do, I don't really care how it works. I barely know how the smithy creates each piece of armor and each weapon. The same goes with the jewels. They just give me what I need. And that's all I require to know." She said. "If it's ok, I'd like to return to my room."

"Dismissed, you are. Speak with the Council, I shall. Search for ways for you to use the Force, we will. Amid teach you, we will."

"Before I leave, why's so important that I learn how to use the Force?"

Yoda lowered his head, deep in thought. "Said this, I have." He looked up to her. "Strong in the Force you are. But using the Force like no other, you also do. I danger you may be. The Sith may look for you. Teaching you the ways of the Force, we'd like to. Two sides there are: Light and Dark. Should you fall to the Dark Side, consume you, it will. Prevent that, we want. The reason why we want to teach you the Force, that is."

Lirlia nodded in understanding. "I see... I appreciate the gesture, Master Yoda." She said. "I also have a question that I asked to Ayla."

He smiled, waiting for the question. "If I do the Dark Side to do good deeds, does that make me an evil person?" She asked. Master Yoda's face turned into a frown, thinking.

"A great and tricky question, that is. Using the Dark Side to do good deeds?" He said. He stood and walked to the window. "A theoretical question, only a theoretical answer has. Thing is, one gets closer to the Dark Side starting from fear. Fear leads to anger. A gear leads to hate. Hate... leads to suffering. Move people, suffering can. Make you do evil things, suffering does."

"Yes, but if I learn to let go of the suffering, accept what happened for them to suffer, make amends with their past, and use the Dark Side to do good?"

"Hmm... complex answer, that is. Many that left the Dark Side, there are. But for each, different it was. Now, use the Dark Side to do good? Not sure of the answer, I am. Seen as an evil being, that person will."

"I guess that the answer really is complex." Lirlia said, a bit of disappointment in her voice.

"Think of it, I shall. Ask other Jedi Masters, I will. Hear their answers, I shall. Share our answers with you, we will."

"Ok. I look forward to that answer." She said standing. "I will return to my room. Thank you for your time." She said and exited Yoda's room and went to her own. There, she put her Bowgun over the wall and sat on the bed, looking at her hands.

"If I have a strong connection to you, why can't I use you?" She said, not waiting an answer. "You brought me here for a reason... but what is it?"

She sighed. "Guessing that I'll not receive an answer from you, even if I wanted to." She laid on the bed. "I miss my friends. How are they faring?" She yawned. "I guess that a nap is in place." She said, closing her eyes.

The next few days passed without happening much. That is, until footage of her help on Kamino spread like a fire without control across the high commanders and generals over the Republic Army. The main topics that were being talked about, are about both her weapon and armor, both capable of withstanding a lightsaber and plasma fire, not provoking any damage to the person. Since then, Lirlia started to get questions and requests to grant the scientists access to her armor and gun. And even to make experiments on her to see if anything useful can be replicated on the clones. She was invited to see the Senate debate about her equipment.

"... that's why we should let our scientists to get access to that equipment. It could be the answer we need to be a step forward from wining the war." One of the Senators said, showing off the video recording of her fighting Grievous, and the shield over her gun withstanding his lightsaber, as well as how any shots hitting her didn't make any damage,

"We should not do that. Lirlia here doesn't know nor understand much of what's going on. She only agreed to help the Republic on Kamino as a sign of good faith." Padme said, defending Lirlia. "We cannot force her to give away what little she has to strangers, and break the small trust the Jedi and some of us have built."

"Do not forget that she's the only one that knows how to use them. If we force her, she may not cooperate in showing how those work, even if we ask." Bail Organa said. "That's why that is a bad idea."

"If we could duplicate that technology, our clones will last longer and our weapons will be stronger. She must give us access to that armor and gun!" Another Senator said, making Lirlia to flinch.

She was started to get upset by the situation. She'd rather stay at the Temple, but Padme convinced her to come.

"And where is my own saying about all of this?" Lirlia said, her voice resonating across the room. "Because I have also rights here, right? Where is my opinion and saying about all of this? What if I don want to give strangers my things?"

"You have to understand that we are at war right now. Meaning that you cannot deny our requests."

"Sorry, but I only helped because I wanted to. And I'm not someone who you can order around. I am the only one who can use these." She said gesturing to her armor and gun. "And I will not give them to you. In fact, if you want to force me to give you access to them ,then I should just stop helping the Republic and leave. I have some people that will help me getting away from here." She said. "It is not my fault that you are all useless with this war going on."

"Useless?! Why, you little-"

"May be we should ask the lady what she wish to do. Has anyone here wondered about her feelings on the matter?" Bail Organa said, interrupting the other Senator.

"I do not want to do it,especially if you force me to do it. That's my saying on this. I'm out." Lirlia said sitting.

Chaos erupted on the meeting, Senators were screaming, demanding her to do their will, some wanted to make a vote to force her, others asked the Chancellor to use his emergency powers to do it. Palpatine then spoke.

"I do not think that we will reach something, now." He said. "Lirlia has helped the Republic, that's clear. That doesn't mean that we shall force her to do something she doesn't want to do. I call this meeting finished, along with the matter. The Republic can use her help, and she is helping us. That should be enough for us."

"But if each clone-" Palpatine interrupted the Senator speaking.

"I know that, but if we force her to do what you want to do, then we will destroy the trust and faith Lirlia has on us. The Republic provides her with shelter, while she provides help while looking a way back to her home. She barely understand what's going on, nor she's comfortable with the current situation." He said, noting how reserved and defensive Lirlia is. "I don't want to hear anyone else trying to force her to do this. You are all dismissed." He said, finishing the meeting.

After the audience with the Senate, Lirlia returned to Padme's office. She sat on the couch and sighed, still upset. Thankfully, the Chancellor's emergency powers, his decision was above everyone there, even though many wanted to vote that she was forced to give her belongings.

"Lirlia, are you ok?" Padme said as she entered.

"A bit. But still angry at the Senate."

"I understand why. While the Republic has weapons, we don't have like the one you own. The same can be said for your armor." Padme said. "But I'd rather let you decide whether or not you want to share your armor and gun than being forced to do so."

"Thanks. I appreciate it. These are the only things I have from my home. They mean a lot for me. We've been through a lot." Lirlia said.

"My lady, Chancellor Palpatine wished to speak with Miss Lirlia." Said Padme's maid, Sabé.

"Alright. Thanks, Sabé." Padme said. Sabé bowed and left the room.

Lirlia then stood. "I should not keep the Chancellor waiting." She said.

"I'll go with you." Padme said.

"No. Stay here. You already did much for me back there." Lirlia answered.

Lirlia arrived at Palpatine's office. She heard some commotion inside, so she knocked the door to make noticed her presence. The door opened and she took it as a hint to enter. There, she saw the same Senator that wanted to force her to give access to her equipment.

"Ah, Lirlia. We were finishing our discussion here." Chancellor Palpatine said.

"I beg you, your highness. Force her to give our scientists access to that gun and armor! We'll find a way to replicate it, and our victory will be secured!" He pleaded.

Palpatine shook his head. "As much as I see the benefit of it, were that investigation to work, we don't have enough time to do a research about it. And since Lirlia is helping the Republic in our time of war, I don't see it fit to force her to do what you want. She didn't have to help us, yet she is. And remember that I said that the topic is now over. Don't ask that again." Palpatine said. The Senator only looked down and left the room without saying much about it.

"Thanks. For all of this." Lirlia said once the were alone.

"I understand what he said. I also believe that it could benefit the Republic. But as I said, you are helping us even when it's not your call." Palpatine said as he walked to her. "I decided to stop them before they throw themselves to you with orders and the like."

"But if the Senate has so many Senators voting for the well being, why did they listened you when you told them to stop?" Lirlia asked.

"I understand your confusion, dear. You see, at the start of this war, I was given emergency powers. Powers, that allowed me to accept the Clone Army and declare war. I just don't use them when the matter can be solved by suffrage. But what happened there, the way they wanted to use you and your belongings to fill their pockets..." he shook his head. "Besides, it was me who told you that you can count on me if you needed something. I am not going to break that trust you have placed on me." He added.

Lirlia smiled. "Thank you." Then she sighed. "There is much I still not understand. But that... that was just too much. Forcing me to do something I'd rather not to? Where are my own rights, as Padme explained me some time ago? Where is my own freedom to choose what I want to do?" She said.

"That is why I protected you from them." Palpatine said.

"But they were right in one thing. If they can copy the strength of this..." She gestured to her armor. "... then, many clones will be saved during battles."

"But for that, you'd be left without it. And they may not want to give it to you back once they're investigating and experimenting on it." Palpatine added.

"Yeah..." she said again. "Thanks for that. I appreciate it."

Palpatine's face was filled with a warm smile. "Of course dear. I'd not destroy the trust you have in me. It is your choice to do this and-" the door opened and a tall human dressed in black with brown eyes, and almost bald entered the room.

"Pardon me for interrupting and entering this way, Chancellor, but I'd like a word with Miss Lirlia."

"And who might you be?" Lirlia asked the man.

"I am Desolè. CEO of one of the technology enterprises. I too, am interested in your equipment."

"Then walk off. I am not giving you my things." Lirlia said.

"I also said that the topic has ended." Palpatine said, placing his hand over Lirlia's shoulder.

"I'm sorry if I made you understand that, dear." Desolè said. "I am not going to force you to give me your equipment." He said.

"Then why coming here if you are not forcing me to give them to you?"

"Since you are the only one that can use them, as you said back there, I'd like to do investigations with you."

Lirlia looked at him with a frown. "So... you want me to participate on experiments using my equipment... is that it?"

"Indeed."

Lirlia sighed. "I don't understand why everyone is interested on it."

"I'll to explain it to you, dear." Desolè said. "Clones armor are not like yours, and if we want to create stronger armor, it'd be too heavy for our troops to move freely and easily. While your armor seems to be tougher while being also light, allowing you to move freely with the maximum protection." Desolè said. "And your weapon seems to have many kinds of different type of ammunition, as you explained in the record with your battle against that cyborg."

"True. Though, this is not the strongest weapon that I have. There are other kind of weapons that can use other kind of ammunition that this can't."

"Ok. Now, imagine that your gun carry only one kind of ammo." He said.

"Well... sometimes I use only one kind of ammo to do my... missions..." Lirlia said. "It's not a big deal. With the proper equipment, you can do massive damage to... the creatures I used to go after." Lirlia said the last part slowly, not wanting to reveal more.

"I see..." Desolè said. "Well, we are getting side tracked from our main topic."

"And my answer is-" Desolè interrupted her with his hand,.

"Do not answer immediately, dear. Allow me to tell you something else, first." He said. Lirlia watched him as he walked to them and then to a near window. "Imagine if we can replicate that kind of technology or technique that was used to create your armor. Wouldn't the clones be benefited by it? They'd fight longer and we'd have less casualties." Desolè said, watching her reaction. Lirlia looked away, understanding what was being said. "From what I was told by some clones that I met after the battle of Kamino, you were uncomfortable with so many clones being sent to battle." He added. "Well, if we can replicate the technique by studying your armor, the casualties will be less... or even none." He then approached her.

"Sir Desolè, I'd suggest you to leave the room. Lirlia has had a stressful day. If you wish to speak with her, then do it later, for she needs to rest." Palpatine said, stepping between them.

"Yes, yes. Apologies. I sometimes got into the topics too much."

"Thank you." Palpatine said.

As Desolè walked towards the door, Lirlia's voice was heard. "Two days."

Both Desolè and Palpatine looked at her. "I'll allow you to... study my armor and gun for only two days. No more." She said.

Desolè smile while Palpatine walked to her. "Lirlia, you don't have to do it. If something happen there, your armor can get robbed or destroyed." He then leaned closer to her and whispered. "We don't know if he's doing this to rob you."

"That's why I am also coming. As I and he have said, I'm the only one that can use them. And my armor and gun won't get destroyed. I don't think that he has something that can damage my armor."

"Ar you sure about that?" Desolè said.

"This armor has withstand beams that destroys everything on its path. The same goes with my gun's shield. Beams that can easily destroy your buildings or ships." Lirlia said, gesturing with her hand to her back. "And if something should injure me, I've got my own way to heal myself."

"But..." Palpatine tried again,

"Besides..." Lirlia' face softened. "... if they can find a way to protect the clones, I'd like to know that at least less are dying." She looked to Palpatine. "I cannot live knowing that they are dying and I can do something about it."

Palpatine's face also softened at that. "You have a kind heart, but do not do this because you are being forced or because you feel the obligation to do it."

"I do this because I want, Chancellor." Lirlia smiled. "And Sir Desolè never spoke like I have to be forced to do it, or to give to strangers my armor and gun. He said clearly that I will be the one using them, while he test them, unlike the other Senators."

"Ok. Now that we have settled this, I shall start preparations for our... meeting." Desolè said.

"I'd like to have the company of two Jedi of my choosing and Senator Amidala for this." Lirlia said. "For... reassurance that I won't be deceived. I'd also like an order to stop after two days." She added quickly.

"I shall give you that, Lirlia." Palpatine said.

"Of course. I can arrange that." Desolè said quickly. "I understand that you are untrusting now. Anyone in your position would." He smiled. "You have my word that we'll use only those two days. Be warned, though..." he added, getting serious. "The tests and experiments will be hard and tough. Since you gave little time, scientists will want to make the higher amount of results."

"You understand than better than I do. Just tell me what should I do during those test, and I'll see into it." Lirlia said.

"I understand. I shall contact you or the Chancellor when I have everything arranged. You should start talking with others about it." Desolè said.

Lirlia nodded, already thinking in who she'll ask for help to the Jedi. A thought filled her mind. 'I hope that this is will be worth it... and that I'm not getting into something else that later I'll regret.'

New chapter is out! This was half made before I uploaded the last chapter, I just had to finish it. Criticism is welcome, as well as any ideas you might want me to add to the story :)
