Once upon a time our worlds collided. It was instant attraction. You were just so beautiful and so thoroughly broken. It was an undeniable pull towards each other. We were just two magnets and even if you never felt the same you couldn't stay away. It was simply gravitation.

Honestly, not once had I ever felt this way. Never in my life had I ever cared about anyone. I didn't when I was human and I hadn't during my time as a nobody. Then you came along and utterly shattered all of my perfectly manicured beliefs. It's ironic really that when I actually found someone worth caring about I was incapable of giving them my heart. I didn't have a heart.

You made me feel like I had a heart.

So I gave you everything I possibly could, everything I ever had. I gave you the worst of me and I gave you the best of me. I let you have all of me- something I had never done before.

At first you didn't notice it; then you acknowledged it slightly. Then finally you accepted it. Maybe you even reciprocated it.

Of course, then you went and threw it all back in my face. You just walked away. You never looked back. You never showed any regret.
