The two brothers ran together and made it all the way to the school. They pounded the ground as they ran. Huffing and puffing they reached it just in time. They stood in front of the gates trying to catch their breath and look as though they were not just running like crazy people. The two of them could see that there is no sign of any students..yet. That meant that school hadn't even started. Once they straightened themselves out, Nicholas and Jack started that casual stroll to head inside. Then, as usual, the conversation of the brothers went to see which of them have won the "race". They stopped and the two of them had both looked down at their feet. They were both so close to the gates of the school that it was difficult to start arguing about it now. They both looked up back at each other, face to face with each other,
"Looks like it's a tie.",said Jack.
Nicholas let out a laugh. Then, the bell rung. Out of nowhere, a bunch of students appeared heading the school. They started to head inside the building. That meant for both Nicholas and Jack, it was time that they go inside. Nobody wants to be late for their classes.
