Virus
It's been like this ever since you were born.
You're like a virus.
You kill off everyone who has ever loved you. The day you were born you killed off almost an entire city.
You've put so many in danger. You're selfish Naruto. You want to live normally, make friends, be happy.
You can't do that.
Because sooner or later, the kyuubi in you is going to take control and kill them. You don't think so, I know you don't. I see you over there shaking your head. You probably think that the seal is too strong to let it take control.
You're wrong.
You're going to kill them all off, one by one.
And then it'll just be me.
Because you couldn't hurt me if you tried.
Come on; I dare you.
But you're over there shaking your head again and clenching your eyes shut. Are they red, Naruto? Is the seal starting to break again? But you're calming down now, I can tell. Well that won't do, will it?
Does it hurt to know that the reason you never had friends was because you were simply born? Do you think of all the lives you took when you were just a day old? All the blood you spilled?
Your fists are tight now. Do you want to hit me Naruto? You can try.
I can see them now; your eyes. And your whiskers have gotten darker.
Oh my, it seems as if the kyuubi want to pay me a visit.
Well don't hold back, I'd like to see him again.
Oh, but you're trying to calm down again. You don't want him to come out, do you? Well, I'll just have to persuade you then, won't I?
Do you know why they won't let you live alone anymore? Yes, Naruto, they knew you were alone before, they didn't care. Now they're just trying to save their own hides by making you believe there are people who care about you.
But now you see it, don't you? That fear and hatred in their eyes. I know you do, because I can see you try to pretend it isn't there. But we all know it is and we all know that if they stop pretending, you'll go and kill them all.
But that's what you want, isn't it?
An excuse to let the kyuubi free.

You're snarling at me now, thrashing around on the ground and screaming your throat raw. Are you still trying to hold back? Come on; just let him out, what's the worst that could happen?

Oh, Naruto, I thought we went over this already. They don't care for you, and you know that because of that you hate them.
You're trying to scratch me with those claws of your now. Careful, you may actually hurt me. That wouldn't be wise, Naruto.
You're yelling at me, and I can see your fangs. He's almost out Naruto; do you really want to continue showing your rage? I think it's an escape for you; let him out and you can blame it on me.
Or, in fact, why blame anyone?
Let him out and tear apart every living creature in this town.
They hate you anyway.
They all think you're disgusting.
Let them live and they will tell their children about the horrible monster inside of you Naruto. It will never die if you don't kill it Naruto.
Kill it now; kill all of them with it.

I was in a slightly bad mood and extremely tired and cranky when I wrote this. I'm happy with how it turned out though. Can anyone guess whose POV it's in? I'll give ya a cookie if you get it right! Reviews would be much appreciated. smile
