AN: Enjoy!
Wedding planning was hard. Especially when your Husband-to-be wasn't any more experienced than you, your Maid of Honour wasn't really a Wedding Planning person, your other Bridesmaids were unavailable, and your main source of help had to work around her three children.
Wanda was exhausted. And even though Vision did not tire in the same way as a regular human would, he was exhausted too. Wanda had been staring at a webpage full of flower arrangements so long that her eyes were beginning to blur. She looked at Vision, who seemed a little overwhelmed with it all, then at their sons in the playpen.. Both behaving, though Tommy was clearly restless. Finally, she looked to the window, and the absolutely perfect, sunny weather outside.
"That's it.." Wanda slammed the laptop shut. "Vizh, we are taking a zi libera."
"A day off?" Vision blinked, slightly surprised, then smiled.
"Mhmm.. There's no reason this can't wait.. Why would we want to waste a perfect day staring at catalogues and computer screens?"
"That is.. A good point."
"I thought you would agree" Wanda smiled, heading over to the playpen. "How would you boys like a trip to the park?"
"Ya!" Tommy's eyes lit up.
"Park!" Billy agreed, nodding.
"Perfect" Wanda scooped them both up, frowning a little at the fact that it was now slightly difficult to do so. Her boys were growing so fast, soon she wouldn't be able to hold them both anymore.
Vision, who had always known how to read Wanda well, sensed that she may have needed a moment.
"I'll just go pack a diaper bag, shall I?"
"That would be great, Vizh" Wanda smiled at him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome" He smiled back. "I'll just be a few minutes."
Vision left the room, and Wanda sat on the couch with her boys, cuddling them close.
"Let's sit here a minute while we wait for Daddy, hmm? I'm sorry Mama's been a bit busy with all the Wedding things, but I love you both, very much.. And I always will, even if you get too big to both fit in my arms.."
"Love Mama" Billy cooed, snuggling close.
"Love Mama!" Tommy clapped his little hands.
"Well, that's good, because for the rest of Today I am toate ale tale.. All yours, my precious boys. And Daddy is too."
Driving anywhere would have taken them a while, living out on the edge of the Barton farm, so instead, they decided to fly. Vision holding Billy, Wanda with Tommy, both boys squealing happily as they raced through the air.
After finding a quiet, empty spot where hopefully, they could come down quietly without being seen, they landed in a park, moving to some nearby equipment to let the boys play. There was one other child on the playground, a blonde haired boy a little older than the twins.
"But don't run too fast, Tommy.." Wanda instructed him. "And Billy, keep your little magic hands to yourself."
"'Kay, Mama" Billy nodded.
"'Kay.." Tommy pouted a little, but did as he was told.
At nearly eighteen months, they were both quite mobile now, though Tommy was still a little more sure-footed than his brother.
Wanda and Vision watched the children closely. Tommy raced around the playground equipment as fast as his parents would allow him. Billy was much more careful. While Tommy clambered up the ladder to the slide and zipped right down without a second thought, Billy took a little longer to decide if he wanted to go up at all.
When he did, climbing slowly and steadily, Wanda hovered a little, letting Vision watch Tommy while she supervised Billy's efforts.. Only supervised. While she felt very protective of her sons, Wanda had resolved to avoid helicopter parenting. As such, she would only help if Billy asked for it, or found himself in trouble.
For a moment, it looked like Wanda would have to step in, when Billy almost toppled on the top rung, but the little blonde boy, who had already been at the top, grabbed Billy's hands, stopping him from falling and helping him the rest of the way up.
"T'ank you.." Billy blushed.
"You's welcome" The little boy replied.
It was at that moment that Wanda looked around, realising that there were no other adults in the vicinity.
"Hey, Vizh?" Wanda frowned, calling to her fiance', "I think this little boy is here by himself.."
Vision scooped Tommy up to keep him from racing off when he wasn't watching, then looked around, frowning himself when he realised Wanda was right.
"Hey, little one.." Wanda slowly approached the boy. "Is your Mommy around?"
"Uh.."
Before the little boy could properly answer, a voice called out across the park.
"There he is! I see him!" A dark haired young woman came running over.
"Hello" Vision greeted her. "Are you his Mother?"
"Heck no.. I'm about to become a Doctor, I've got no time for kids right now. I was just out with his sorta-adoptive.." She froze. "Hold up.. You're The Vision!"
"Yes" Vision nodded.
"And.." She turned to Wanda, "You're the Scarlet Witch!"
"I am."
"Wow. Hi! I'm Darcy Lewis.."
"Thor's friend?" Vision questioned.
"Yeah.. he hasn't called in a while though. Listen, it's lucky you found the kid first, because.."
Before Darcy could explain, they were interrupted again, this time by Carol, and a woman Wanda recognised from Carol's phone wallpaper as Monica Rambeau.
"Teddy!" Monica swept the little blonde boy into her arms. "You cannot go running off like that little man.."
"Sowwy" said Teddy, and Monica sighed, her heart clearly touched.
"You might have a challenger after your title, Lieutenant Trouble" Carol smirked.
"It's not funny, Aunt Carol" Monica frowned. "You know why he can't run off.."
"Yeah" Darcy cut in. "You're lucky two Avengers found him before he turned green or something."
"Huh?" Monica suddenly noticed the presence of Wanda, Vision, and the twins, and her eyes lit up. "Oh, hi! You're the ones who defeated Thanos!"
"Not without help.." Wanda admitted, "But yes."
"I'm sorry.." Vision was stuck a little further back in the conversation, "Why would you be worried the little boy would turn green?"
"Well.." Carol began.
"That's kind of a long story" Monica finished.
Wanda noticed that all three children present seemed to be a little restless, and hearing a telltale jingle nearby, offered a solution.
"How about you explain over ice-cream cones?"
