AN: Enjoy!

Almost as exhausted as the twins after their unexpectedly exciting trip to the park, Wanda fell asleep as soon as her own head hit the pillow later that night.

When she woke the following morning, and headed to the Nursery to find the twins absent, she did not immediately panic, assuming that their Father had got to them first. While this was in fact the case, Wanda was a little confused to find Vision at the front door, waving someone off as the sound of a car disappeared into the distance.

"Vizh, what's going on?" Wanda frowned. "Where are the boys?"

"Laura has taken them for the day" Vision turned to her with a smile.

"Why?" Wanda was still confused.

"Well, as much as we love them, your plans to relax and unwind a little yesterday afternoon were accidentally hijacked by our children and their new friend" Vision explained, "So, I thought maybe a better way to relax would be just the two of us, child-free and no stressful Wedding planning. We can do whatever you want, order food, watch a movie, binge a sitcom.. Or if you'd rather go out, we can do that too. Maybe to a cafe, or shopping.."

"Hmm.. anything I want?"

"Of course."

"And we are completely alone in the house for the first time in forever?" A cheeky grin spread over Wanda's face..

"We are" Vision nodded.

"In that case" Wanda's grin widened as she stepped closer to Vision, "I know exactly what I'd like to 'do' first.."

"What is it?"

"Viitorul meu sot."

"Your future Husband?" Vision looked confused for a moment, until realisation came to him, and he blushed, before a similar cheeky grin emerged on his face. "That is definitely an option."

Wanda giggled, running and jumping into Vision's arms. Vision caught her easily, kissing her deeply as he carried her to their bedroom.

Sometime later, Wanda lay curled in Vision's arms, letting out a contented sigh.

"I love you.."

"I love you too.." Vision replied, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

"Thank you, for this" She looked up at him, smiling. "I think I really did need an 'Us' day."

"There's plenty of the day left" Vision reminded her, smiling back. "Is there anything else you'd like to do? Anywhere you'd like to go?"

"Is there somewhere you want to go?"

"Not particularly. This day is for you, Wanda. I am happy to go with whatever is your preference."

"I think I'm happy just to have a day at home with you" Wanda replied. "Although, I am having a craving for brunch, and I remember you learning to make a very good Eggs Florentine back when I was pregnant.."

"Of course. Brunch in bed, coming up.." Vision de tangled his arms from around her and got out of bed.

"Frumoasa priveliste.." Wanda smirked.

"Cheeky.." Vision smirked himself, pulling on a pair of shorts.

"You love me.." Wanda teased.

"I do" Vision agreed, leaning down to kiss her. "I will be back soon."

So, Vision cooked Wanda Brunch, and fed it to her. They spent the rest of the day making love, snuggling in bed and watching a marathon of Wanda's favourite sitcom episodes, with Vision regularly fetching supplies of his Wife to be's favourite snacks.

The brief respite from parenting and Wedding planning was exactly what Wanda needed, and though he said it was Wanda's day, Vision had needed the time out as well, maybe more than he had realised.

"You know" He told Wanda, as the credits rolled on an episode of 'The Dick Van Dyke Show', "I think we need to do this more often. Not all the time, but.. More often, definitely."

"I agree" Wanda nodded, curling into him tighter. "Setting aside time to spend as a couple is important."

"It will be easier, when the Wedding's over and done with.." Then, worried that his words could be taken the wrong way, Vision hurriedly added, "Not that I'm not looking forward to our Wedding, but.."

"It's okay, I get it" Wanda reassured him, chuckling. "The planning part is stressful. The part I'm looking forward to most is being married to you.. Being your Wife."

"And I am looking forward to being your Husband" Vision nuzzled her grinning.

"good. When is Laura bringing the boys back?"

"Not for another few hours.."

"Mmm.." Wanda leaned in to kiss Vision again. "Plenty of time.."

By the time Laura arrived to drop off Tommy and Billy early that evening, Wanda and Vision were both relaxed, refreshed, and more than ready to have their children back, rushing out to meet them.

"Hello, una pretioasa" Wanda greeted, retrieving Billy from the back of the car. "Did you have a nice day with Auntie Laura?"

"Uh-huh" Billy nodded.

"Thank you, Laura" Vision smiled, fetching Tommy. "I hope they were not too much of a handful.."

"Oh, not at all" Laura smiled back. "They're little Angels. Trust me, in the not too distant future when they start dropping a nap, learn what 'No' means, and take a very firm stance against wearing pants even though they haven't quite mastered potty training.. You'll look back on the age they are now with great fondness."

"Oh.." Vision gulped, sharing a nervous look with Wanda.

"Relax, I was only kidding.. Well, kinda kidding. All kids are different, Toddler years are tougher for some than others. But hey, since you two have super-babies, maybe all the regular kid stuff will feel easier!" Laura chuckled awkwardly, realising her words were not all that helpful. "Sorry. Nate's going through a difficult stage.. The rejection of pants thing is not just a theoretical example."

"I'm sure he'll grow out of it" Wanda tried to reassure her friend. "And Thank you, again, for looking after the twins Today."

"Anytime" Laura waved as she got into the car. "See you later!"

Soon after Laura had driven off, Wanda turned to carry Billy inside, but couldn't help bursting out laughing.

"I don't see what's so funny about this" Vision frowned. "What if one day the boys start taking their pants off in public?"

"Then they will take after their Father" Wanda smirked, referring to an incident, quite some time ago, when Vision had walked out of a department store changing room completely naked.

"That was an accident.." Vision blushed, and Wanda only laughed more.

Tommy and Billy's future behaviour was a problem for just that, the future. Today, Wanda could only feel happy.
