Yeah, I'm finally back. If you haven't noticed, I'm on a small hiatus (okay a big one) for my other story, I'm thinking about changing it a bit. Anyway, I'm doing a challenge for the lj community, 52Flavours which means that I'm basically doing 52 one-shots. Yay!
Edit: So much for 52 one-shots. As I've lost interest in the challenge, this will instead be a one-shot. But there is a small interest on doing a short mini drabble series based on the themes. Only they will related to each other and they won't add up to like 50.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Her blue eyes were like stained glass.
While Beast Boy never really thought about it in those words, being the metaphor was too deep for him, sub-consciously he kind of made the connection.
Eyes could be like a window to someone's soul and their thoughts. It can also be a window for its owner to look out at the world and make their observation of it.
Hers were stained glass.
Though he, the whole team in fact, thought they could see into her soul, her heart, her intention.
But they were wrong. The blue stained window fooled them all.
The stained glass also affected Terra. She thought she knew who trust, knew who not to.
But she was wrong too.
She thought Slade could help her; that with his assistance she could control her powers properly. She also thought that the Titans would never accept her because of lack of control of her powers.
That mistake cost Terra her life.
To be fair, Raven was similar to Terra: she too had stained glass eyes. You couldn't read her thoughts or her emotions but that was no different than her face, also emotionless, unless anger or surprise filled it, but the latter usually lead to the former.
That was not to say Raven was without emotion; she just didn't show it so much for her own reasons. Though Beast Boy had a feeling (sub-consciously, of course) that her weren't so stained as the first time they met her, now they were more like a one-sided tinted window, like the ones some cars have in the back seats: you couldn't really see in that much but you could see out much better.
Secretly, Beast Boy kind of hoped that he could one-day see in, that one day…the glass would be clear and lose its tint.
-End-
Did anyone get that?
