Chapter 2:Sludge monster
Time skip
Preston was walking out of a supermarket.He still wears his original attire black t-shirt with a golden chain.Black jeans with a blue dragon on his right leg.
Preston is sucking on a ice popsicle.He is scrolling on his phone for the latest news.
'wait ain't that the same villain that all might defeated?' thought Preston as he saw Bakugo is captured 'I wonder how he got away? Must be very good at slipping away to escape All Might himself and I see that that idiot got himself captured.
Preston then finished his ice popsicle.put his phone in his pocket.
"RUBBER RUBBER ROCKET" Yelled preston as he stretches his arm forward and shot himself forward.Preston is using his Grandfather's special attack.
Izuku prov
He began to analyze the situation on both the villain and the heroes currently on site. Deatharms mainly focused on punches and grapples, which meant against the Sludge villain, who seemed impervious to such attacks, he was helpless. He didn't have power like All Might did to blow the Sludge Villain away. Kamui Wood was helpless against the explosions and fire the villain was putting out, destroying his wood-based quirk anytime he tried something. He instead focused on rescuing as many people as he could.
Backdraft might've been helpful, but he was more focused on rescue type missions and was currently doing his best to prevent the fire from spreading.
Mt. Lady, the newest hero, was unable to do anything as the streets were to narrow for her to step in with her gigantification quirk. Izuku quickly made note that Mt. Lady was unable to adjust the size she grew, meaning she was stuck with two default forms, and already started listing off possible cons to such a quirk.
Two more heroes were on the scene, one with a baseball motif and another with a plague doctor mask, but neither of them could do anything either.
"Why aren't the heroes doing anything?" asked one civilian.
"Apparently, the villain captured a schoolboy and is abusing his quirk, creating explosions. None of the heroes can get close in fear of harming the hostage," replied another.
"We need a hero with a suitable quirk to deal with this!" shouted latter of the heroes.
Izuku's eyes focused on the slime hero, who had turned around just in time for Izuku to see Katsuki Bakugo, a one-time childhood friend to someone whom he heavily disliked, trapped within the villain, struggling to get out. His eyes were no longer one of arrogance and contempt but filled with desperation, fear, and pain, begging for someone to help him.
Izuku didn't even think about what he was going to do next.
He sprinted right past the police officers and heroes without a second thought.
Toshinori, who had been in the crowd for a while, was gripping his injury as he thought to himself how pathetic he was, unable to do anything. When he saw Izuku run out, he mentally screamed in shock why such a kid was running out there.
"Hey kid, come back here!" shouted Death Arms, too surprised to grab Izuku.
"You!" glared the Sludge Villain, remembering who delayed him long enough for All Might to come.
Katsuki could only widen his eyes in shock as he tried to struggle out of the villain's grip.
Izuku ignored all those shouting as he focused on the Sludge villain, his mind racing as adrenaline pumped through his body.Izuku tries with all his might to get Bakugo out of the sludge monster.He fails as he got himself trapped in the sludge monster
Everyone watched in horror as Izuku is now trapped in the sludge monster.
"That kid got himself trap!" Yelled Kamui woods
Preston prov
Preston is now in mid-air as he watches Izuku ran to Bakugo and think'What the fuck now I have to save two idiots'
Mt.lady saw Preston in midair and she is shocked.Preston stretches and wraps his legs around MT.Lady neck.
'What in the world?' thought most of the heroes watching Preston in action.
"Rubber Rubber Rescue"Preston yelled as he stretches his arm forward and grab Izuku and Bakugo.Preston then strechtes them back the him.
MT.lady eyes widened as she saw those two coming towards he eyes she creams. Bakugo and izuku saw a huge eyeball and freaked them out They started two panics as they are coming closer.
Toshinori and the other heroes and civilian thinking the same thing'This is going to hurt'
My.lady closes her eyes.Izuku crashing on her left eye and Bakugo on the right giving her two black eyes.
My.lady screaming in pain as she goes to her normal size Preston blow himself up as a bubble they landed safely on him
The pro heroes rush towards them as the villain is laughing his ass off.Preston looks at his friend, his rival and the pro hero.
" WTF happened to you"said Preston as he saw MT.Lady in pain and rubbing his head in confusion.
"You look what you did" Kamui woods yelled at him as he help mt.lady.
"Yeah and am show proud of myself" Preston walk down the crowd towards the sludge villain.
'What is he doing now'Toshinori asked himself as his eyes widened now figuring out what he is going to do his going to get himself hurt.Toshinori transform himself into his buff form.
"What are you looking at rubber boy" The sludge villain is finally finished laughing.
"Am going to kick your ass" Preston tightening his fist.
Sludge monster shots him with a ball of sludge but Preston dodge.Sludge monster then throws 2 sludge balls Preston jumps in the air.
"Rubber Rubber Pistol"Preston then stretches his arm forward and punch him in the face
Preston then landed still running towards him.Sludge monsters roar and blast sludge at him.Preston dodged to the left and yelled
"Rubber Rubber Bazooka"Preston stretches both his arms far back, and then hurls them forward into the sludge villain stomach.
The sludge villain grunted in pain as he is on his knees.He looks up as presto jumps in the air for one last time then he smirks.'Wrong move kid'
he thought
" Here an all-out attack!?" shouted the sludge villain as he fired multiple tentacles to surround Preston.Preston saw this coming
"Rubber Rubber Gun Battering"Preston uses his stretching ability to bring his fists forward repeatedly in a blurry, rapid barrage of strong punches that creates the illusion of him having multiple arms.
'Amazing'Kamui woods looks at this fight
" That kid is so cool"Yelled a kid that is holding his mother hand
"That boy mother will be so furies about this"
Preston and the sludge villain Is trading blows but Preston is way faster.These two eventually stop as the villain is coughing blood.
"No way this kid is a pro-level" said the sludge monster.
"Time to finish this"
"Rubber Rubber Gun Bullet"Preston stretches one arm, far behind him while running, then snaps it back to deliver a short-distance, one-fisted powerful blow to the sludge monster.
The sludge monster is crashing into a truck.
" My truck"said the truck driver as he is holding a phone and is standing with the crowd.
Preston looks around as they are cheering for him he saw some of the pro heroes are coming toward him.
Preston then jumps on top of the truck and looks up as he saw All Might.
"I am going to be the next number 1 hero and I WILL BE THE FIRST SYMBOL OF HOPE!!"Raise his arm up.
" Fucking bastard"Bakugo said as he is still recovering.
Preston then takes a smoke bomb that he stole from a newbie pro hero.
"Is that my smoke bomb"
"Smoke bomb" Preston throw the smoke bomb on the ground as smoke is exploding out of it.
Then he is gone
That day izuku received a quirk from All Might.
Preston got of course grounded for his actions
School
Alright students," began the teacher to his third-year students of Aldera Junior School, "You guys are all third-year students! It's time to seriously think about your future!"
He dropped the career forms on his table and slapped the top of the stack to emphasize his point as he continued, "I would start handing out these career forms, but..."
With a flourish, he tossed the papers into the air, his serious face morphing into a dreamy smile, "I assume you all want to become heroes!"
"Oh yeah." Preston yelled exitedly as he stretches his arm up.
"preston yes you and all your classmates have powerfull quirks," said the teacher kindly before getting back down to reality, "But don't forget, it is against the rules to use them in school!"
"Ha, teacher! Don't lump me with these losers!" barked Katsuki with a derisive laugh, his feet on his desk. He had been one of the two students to not show off their quirk. "As if any of them are within my league with their shitty quirks."
"yeah because i am way out of your league you idiot" said preston as glare at Bakugo"Of course i did save you from a villian and defeated You and that villian."
"What the fuck you just say you fucken bastard that was just a fluke lets do if again the i kick your ass" Bakugo yelled ready to explode Preston face of.
"Bakugo go sit down!" The teacher yelled and Bakugo stare at him then he sit down but he was still pretty pissed of.
"Ah, yes, Preston and Bakugo, if I remember correctly, you two are applying for U.A. High School, right?" said the teacher as he glanced down his clipboard.
The students began chattering in shock and admiration at this news.The whole school admires Bakugo for his quirk as for Preston.Everyone admires Preston as a hero and the strongest student I the school.If Bakugo wants to bully a student Preston steps in and helps his fellow student Preston and bakugo rivalry has been going on since Preston came to the school.Preston is the popular student and he rejected a love letter from the prettiest startin school.
"Ehh, that high school?"
"I heard the cutoff score for this year was 79, their acceptance rates are very low! The cutoff score is always getting higher and higher!"
"Not only is it the top national school, but I heard their entrance examination is so harsh that a lot of applicants were injured!"
"That's why all you chatterbox are all extras," grinned Katsuki as he leaped onto his desk from his chair in one fluid motion, "I aced the mock exam with the highest score in this school, I'm the only one who's got what it takes to get into U.A.! I'll surpass All Might as top hero, and become the best hero in history! Not to mention, I'll also be the richest person in the world! and I will defeat that loser of there"Bakugo points at Preston as Preston is ignoring him.Preston is currently listening to his music through his headphones
"Oh, there are actually 3 students in the class that is applying to ua ," noted the teacher after Katsuki's speech and savage grin.
Katsuki completely froze at that statement as the rest of the students turned around to stare at Izuku. Izuku had been completely ignoring everything, writing down notes of Preston quirks and special moves.He looked up to see everyone looking at him before 2/3rds of them broke out into laughter, the latter 1/3rd having conflicting emotions on their face. Katsuki and Preston wasn't among the laughing crowd, though.
"Midorya, in the Hero course!?" laughed a student with razor-sharp teeth.
"You can't get into a hero course, let alone U.A., by just grades alone," taunted a student whose quirk was literally just having a long nose and a heightened sense of smell.
Though the third of the class that wasn't laughing at him, they did nothing to defend him either. The teacher also did absolutely nothing to stop the laughter.
"Deku!" shouted Katsuki as he slammed his hand onto Izuku's desk and used his quirk once more to make the desk explode.
Izuku reacted by moving his notebook from safety as his desk exploded, though he calmly sat there without moving an inch, not even batting an eye.
"You damn piece of shit!" cussed Katsuki, "Thinking you're the same league as me? You're fucking quirkless!"
His hands were still steaming, and sparks were flying out. Izuku sighed as he stared at Katsuki, giving a swift glance to the teacher to see him doing... absolutely nothing to defuse the situation.Preston turned the music of he isn't going to defend izuku anymore izuku is applying to ua show he has to be a man and he has a quirk only Preston knows.Eveyone stares at Preston wondering what will he do but to their suprise he is just watching.
"Whether you feel insulted or not, it still doesn't change the fact that it's my decision to apply there, not yours," said Izuku.
"The hell it isn't!" shouted Katsuki,
"Bakugo stop tunting me if you say I dont have a quitk then i wont be a problem for u"izuku said
"He thinks his in my league" Bakugo said as he look at preston still holding izuku collar.
"You know what when the exam happened i will enjoy seeing you crush" Bakugo said as he lets go of izuku collar.
Izuku stood up, facing Katsuki face to face. The years of training cleaning up the beech gave izuku a muscular body. Not that anybody could tell at the moment since he was wearing his uniform. But still, his training made him tall enough that he could stare into Katsuki's eyes face to face.
"I don't care what you think, nor will I cater to your ego," snapped Izuku, "Don't forget, I also aced the mock exam and tied with me for first place."
Katsuki's hands began to smoke again as he growled when the bell rang, signifying homeroom was over.
"Now, now, get to your seat students," placated the teacher, "Your next instructor will be here shortly."
"This isn't over yet, Deku," snarled Katsuki as he sat down.
"Nice talking to you too Bakugo,"
replied Izuku as he sat down.
Bakugo was shocked at this as Preston smirk.Bakugo wanted to comment but the next instructor came in.
Show Preston got a good fight.Deku got One for All.Bakugo should get anger management and mt.lady is now recovered from a eye injury.
