"Today is the day" Preston cheered loudly as he sprung out of his bed.
"I am ready for whatever challenge UA throws at me" During the time skip Preston has trained hard.
Preston have begun learning martial arts and working out, wanting to learn everything that he could to advance his technique and create his own fighting style. He knew that if he didn't work out he wouldn't be able to make any substantial hits even with his newfound power. As the days went by Preston slowly learned more and more about his own abilities and the different forms of Haki. He did learn about Armament Haki when he was 10, and it took him 2 years to learn how to activate it on command. He learned about Conqueror's Haki when he was 4 and by the time he was 13, he could only activate it on command half the time, as he still couldn't quite figure out how it worked. He couldn't quite figure out what it meant to force his will over others' own will. However, he was slowly discovering more and more about what it meant.
Preston learned Second qear after Preston and his family moved in. After 2 years he learned he can stay 1 hour in Second Gear while in the Horse position and 6 months to get Third Gear to work for a 30 minute period before he shrunk down.
He also learned that he can use Haki and his rubber quirk at the same time and create fourth gear. Fourth Gear was his toughest challenge so far. He can only use the Snakeman for 12 minutes and Bouncyman for 5 minutes.
As the days' gone by he and Bakugo rivalry have still gone on. These two have arguments and battle every week.
In this day and age Preston have Master his Rubber quirk techniques.
Preston runs straight towards the bathroom. He brushes his teeth and took a shower. After his shower he walk to the kitchen Table and eating breakfast.
'How many techniques do i have again' Preston though
'Rubber Rubber Pistol, Rubber Rubber Gun Pistol, Rubber Rubber Bazooka, Rubber Rubber Stamp, Rubber Rubber Gatling, Rubber Rubber Whip, Rubber Rubber Rescue , Rubber Rubber Rocket, Rubber Rubber Rubber Rubber Bazooka, Rubber Rubber Rotating Bullet' He count on his finger.
Preston didn't only improve his basics such as stamina strength etc. he also created new moves, these moves consisted off haki and his rubber body combination even tough he couldn't use it in conjuction with one for all it was still neverthless very strong all the moves he knew before got upgraded, in gear second all his moves would be added a jet prefix but now with haki the jet prefix changed to hawk (ex gomu gomu hawk bazooka) also those weren't the only things he learned to do he also learned some normal moves that also got upgraded this ones were called: gomu gomu no axe , gomu gomu no spear , gomu gomu no gattling , Rubber Rubber no whip , Rubber Rubber no twin rifle , here's what they were supposed to do:
Rubber Rubber axe:Preston stretches one leg high into the air, then brings it crashing down via a high-gravity stomp on an opponent or structure, for massive damage, strong enough to destroy large buildings in a single hit even tough he didn't try it on building he could easily imagine what would happen when he used it in conjucture with one for all
Rubber Rubber no spear:Preston holds his feet together (with the bottoms of each touching each other) and kicks with both simultaneously via his toes (giving off the image of an actual spearhead)
Rubber Rubber gattling:Preston uses his stretching ability to bring his fists forward repeatedly in a blurry, rapid barrage of strong punches that creates the illusion of him having multiple arms, however he does not actually grow more arms so he can still be stopped by an opponent fast enough.
Rubber Rubber whip:Preston stretches his leg and kicks in a wide circle, being able to strike multiple foes.
Rubber Rubber twin rifle: just like the normal rifle but instead Preston uses both arms if he wants to he can rip the enemy in two by moving both arms in different directions.
all of these moves had their upgrades in the gear 2 and gear 3 forms with haki gear 3 forms would add the prefix elephant and some other moves would have a outright name change ex:gomu gomu no elephant gun instead of gomu gomu no giant pistol , there's also gomu gomu no grizzly magnum instead of gomu gomu no giant bazooka.
'I masterd my Second gear along with third gear others still need to train' Preston thought as he forgot to learn for the exam
"Mom dad am going" Preston yelled
"Make sure to ace the test" Brendan
said
"Sure thing" when his father said test he thought the practical exam.
"Bye honey" his mother said
"Bye mom and dad" Preston run out the house
Preston had seen UA on television and the internet before; anyone in Japan who had had dreams of being a Hero was the same. It was the school where many of the most prestigious Heroes in the country came from—and in the case of All Might, in the world.
Now, Preston was standing in front of the massive gates for the first time, staring up at the huge archway with a huge grin.
"Now i need to hurry inside show that i can get a good seat" Preston said as he runs inside.
The written portion of the exam was certainly hard, Preston spent all his time training and not studied. He knows some of the questions. 'Man am going to fail hard.
"Man i cant believe this. This is supose to be a Hero school not a business school" Preston said scrathing his head. 'why didn't no one remind me to learn. Hell this is supposed to be the hero course but why the hell should I write'
After the read Preston would start the real exam. "Now lets to this"
The pair followed the rest of the crowd into the school, and then into a sizable auditorium large enough to comfortably fit all the examinees. They took a seat at the back row and waited for the room to fill up, which took a few minutes.
Suddenly, the lights cut out, leaving everyone basking in darkness. Confused murmurs reverberated through the auditorium, until one of the surrounding spotlights sprang to life and cast a bright glow on the centre of the stage. Several more spotlights soon followed, illuminating the stage entirely and revealing a tall man standing atop a small podium, posing flamboyantly to the crowd. Behind him, at the far end of the auditorium, was a gigantic monitor that projected a flashing U.A. symbol to the awestruck audience.
The man's upturned black jacket, leather pants and matching boots made him look like a rocker, and that image was only compounded by the studs adorning his collar and belt. A pair of orange sunglasses covered his eyes and a shock of spiky blond hair rose towards the ceiling like a tower. Fingerless black gloves were worn on his hands, and a thin moustache was situated above his beaming grin.
Preston didn't recognise the man he raised and ebrow and asked himself softly only people nearby him hear " what type of mother let their child walking around freely with that redicules hairstyle . Just by the look of it I can see that guy lives in his parents basement" A few contenders chuckles at that but a boy with glasses glared at Preston.
'That boy is making a mockery out of Japan Greatest Pro Heroes'
"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today!" Present Mic bellowed enthusiastically, his voice amplified by a large speaker hanging around his neck. "Everybody say, 'hey!'"
Following his exuberant introduction, he cupped an ear towards his listeners as if expecting a response, but was ultimately met with stunned silence.
If this bothered Present Mic, he didn't let it show, and instead shrugged helplessly at his observers. "What a refined response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam!" He raised his right hand as though he was about to drop a microphone and his grin widened. "Are you ready?! YEAH!"
Yet again, the crowd responded with silence. Preston Yawned out loudly
'That is strike 2 for you if you disturbed us again then I have no choice but to put you in your place' thought to boy with glasses
"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" he began, just as a matching diagram appeared on the monitor behind him, showing seven blocks marked from A to G. "You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle centre, okay?!"
Another round of silence was heard, so Preston took this time to look at the exam ticket he was assigned earlier, which revealed that he was to be in Battle Centre A.
"It looks like they won't let people from the same school be in the same test location," isuku observed, peering over at a girl ticket. "I'm in Battle Centre C."
Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle centre," Present Mic continued, interrupting the boys. Three blacked out yet familiar silhouettes appeared on the monitor, numbered from 1 to 3, and surrounding a small model of a city. "You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilising the faux villains."
As Present Mic spoke, the picture on the monitor morphed to show Super Mario – who Preston recognised from his frequent trips to the arcade – walking around and stomping on the previously shown faux villains.
"Of course, attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited!" Present Mic warned, pointing a finger at the audience and wagging it as though scolding a small child.
"May I ask a question?" a stern voice inquired, belonging to a boy who had stood up and raised his hand. His beige uniform revealed him to be the Soumei Junior High student Gohan had seen earlier.
"Okay!" Present Mic replied as a spotlight shone on the boy, who Preston could now see was tall and reasonably muscular. He had slick black hair and wore a pair of rectangular half-rim glasses which, when combined with his demeanour, gave him something of a disciplinarian appearance.
"On the printout, there are four types of villains," he stated firmly, prompting Preston glance at him he could see he is from a rich family and he didn't like spoil brats one bit. "If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake. We examinees are here in this place because we wish to be moulded into exemplary heroes."
As he talked, his hands moved around in an almost robotic fashion, giving a certain emphasis to his words. He then pointed at another section of the audience and glared in that direction. "In addition, you over there with the curly hair! You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately! and boy with the raven hair would you stop disturbing us we came hear to become pro heroes not pro thugs" after hearing that Preston tightens his fist ready to punch the shit out of him before he could do that he hears a laughter so loud that everyone can hear it
"Hahahahaha" Bakugo laughed hard at what he heard. " A Preston are you going to let four eyes diss you like that" Bakugo said as Izuku bites his fingers he knows Preston is going to start a fight with either of those two. ' Calm down Preston their not going to let you participate if you start a fight' Preston close his eyes for 30 second's and then opened It and said " That dork isint worth my time and Bakugo why don't you just shut up before I make you shut up"
"What the fuck did you say you fu-" Bakugo was got off by Present Mike
" if the two of you fight then I have no choice to let you go back home" the two lowerd their fist as Izuku and present mic sighed in relief as Lida sits back into his chair
"Now let us continue"
"Okay, okay, Examinee 7111," Present Mic began in a placating manner, drawing everyone's attention to himself once more. "Thanks for the great message! But the fourth faux villain variety gets you zero points! He's more of an obstacle! Have you all played Super Mario Brothers?"
At the mention of the retro video game, a fourth silhouette appeared on the monitor, only this one was of a colossal size. Upon reaching it, the figure of Mario bolted in the opposite direction.
"It's kind of like a thwomp!" Present Mic continued. "Only one at each site! A gimmick that'll rampage around in close quarters!"
"So, it's like a stage gimmick to be avoided," the Soumei student remarked, bowing low. "Thank you very much! Please excuse the interruption!" As soon as he sat down, the spotlight left him.
"Yeah… cool, "Preston added in a subdued tone. 'Present Mic never explicitly said we had to avoid the fourth villain. He just implied that we should.' Preston begins to smirk as his attention is at present Mic again.
"Finally, I'll give you listeners a present – our school motto!" Present Mic explained sagely, spreading his hands to address the entire audience. "The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said, 'a true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes.' Go beyond! Plus Ultra!" Those two words then flashed across the screen behind him in blindingly bright colours. "Now, everyone, good luck suffering!" the pro hero added as a concerning afterthought.
'I hate that fricken sentence'
