Twilight opened her eyes to find herself in a dark room. "Wh-what's going on?" she asks shaking. The looming feeling of someone watching her made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. "Is someone there?" she asks turning. There in front of her was what looked like another her with glowing amber eyes. "Wh...what?" she stammers. The figure chuckles and all of a sudden Twilight shoots up out of bed.

It was just a nightmare. She shivered a little and looked around her room. "Oh it was only a nightmare." she sighs. She got out of bed and looked out of her window. The day was looking nice. The sun was peeking over the horizon and a few birds could be heard chirping.

Meanwhile Rage and XL were walking down the road to school. "And that's it?" XL asks.

"Yeah, after that we went back to the Chaos Realm and Chaotix gave me quite the stern speech." Rage says as they hit an intersection.

"Geez he must have been mad you left without completing your training and still manged to beat Christain." XL laughs along with Rage.

"Listen I'll catch up with you later. I have to go check on a few things before school this morning." Rage says finally stopping his laughter

"What kind of things?" XL asks curious.

"Family matters." Rage says. The two say their farewells and go opposite ways at the intersection. XL continued worried about how Flora was doing. She had been exhausted after everything that had happened at camp.

Twilight made her way to the courtyard in front of CHS before accidentally bumping into a tall paleish skinned boy. He had chestnut brown hair done in a bangs style and a black shirt. Black jeans and shoes. On his back was a purple ritual like circle. She stumbled to the ground and he looks at her helping her up. "I'm sorry." she says.

"It's alright." He says in a smooth tone.

"Have we met?" Twilight asks.

"No, I just got here. My name is Kira nice to meet you." he says

"I'm Twilight Sparkle." Twilight smiles "Nice to meet you but I do need to get to class." she says hurrying off.

"Oh." was all Kira managed to say before she was gone.

"Smoooooth." A feminine voice says. Kira looks over to see a tall girl with dark hair sitting on the statue that held the portal to Equestria. A black dress flailed a bit as she leaps down.

"It doesn't matter Nia." he says "We've already got the spell in place and once she enters it will affect her like the others. Let's just hope they can be jerks long enough for us to make use of the power."

"Don't worry Kira." Nia chuckles leaning against the statue. "The others have already been more than enough."

Twilight heads inside and sees Applejack storming down the hall seeming upset. "Oh good morning Applejack!" she says the farm girl looks to Twilight but doesn't say anything. "What's wrong?" she asks.

"I'll tell ya what's wrong. That Rarity has the nerve to complain about mah 'sense of fashion' the dumb bitch!" Applejack says.

Twilight gasps shocked. "Applejack that's a little rude don't you think?" she asks.

"Ah who cares?" Applejack scoffs "Not like she's got much else to stand on besides those horrible shoes of hers."

"Aplejack that is no way to talk about your friend." Twilight scolds.

"Friend?" Applejack asks "Did ya hit your head or something Twilight I thought you were supposed to be smart."

"Hey!" Twilight shouts stomping her foot. "Last time I checked everyone is smarter than you farm girl!" she shouts. Almost as quickly as she had gotten angry she went to a more surprised face. "W-wait..." she says to herself before finding Applejacks fist decking her across the left side of her face.

Twilight looks up at Applejack who scoffs and walks off as Sunset runs up, "What was that all about?" she asks helping Twilight up to her knee. "Are you okay?" she asks.

"I-I think so?" Twilight says holding a hand to her cheek. "What's wrong with Applejack?"

"I...I don't know." Sunset says. "She and Rarity started going off on each other as did the others. I just backed out of the room and well...she stormed out..."

"Something strange is going on..." Twilight says "I had this sudden urge of fury it wasn't natural...Sunset I'm scared." she says looking at Sunset. "I don't understand what's going on!"

The two heard a laugh and looked up to see Nia and Kira. "Cute isn't it?" Nia asks.

"But Nia...these two..." Kira says "They must be special..."

"What are you talking about?" Sunset asks.

"I see no reason why we should tell you." Nia cackles. "Besides you're just two girls why don't you just get going." she says making a "shoo" motion.

"What did you do?!" Sunset asks slightly agitated.

"We didn't do anything." Kira chuckles.

"Stop lying!" Sunset yells lashing out at the two strangers.

Nia scoffs and a black mist forms around her hand as she just back hands Sunset sending her flying a bit the mist covering her making her cough. Twilight looked at the scene in shock. "SUNSET!" she screams as Sunset opens her eyes and looked right at Twilight. The same amber glare from the figure in her dream stared back. Out of fear she hurries to her feet and runs out of the building.

"Hey!" Kira shouts starting to run after her but Nia stops him.

"Let her go." she says "There isn't anything she can do now. We can move on to phase 2."

"But..." Kira says before Nia glares at him and he nods. "Yes Nia." he sighs.

Twilight ran to Rage's house hoping he was home and pounds on his door. She kept hitting it before sitting curled up. "Rage...don't tell me they got you too." she sobs out of fear.

"Twilight?" a voice asks as the door opens. "What's got you all worked up?" she looks up to see Flora.

"Flora?" she asks surprised "What...what are you doing here?"

"I'm staying with Rage..." she says "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in school?" she asks.

"Where is Rage?" Twilight asks.

"He is back on Mobius something came up but he wouldn't tell me what." Flora answers. "Why?"

"Something's happened at school..." Twilight says. "Something weird."

"Oh?" Flora asks "Do you want to come in?" she asks. Twilight nods and Flora lets her in. The two sit down on the couch and Twilight starts to explain everything.

"Hmm." Flora says rubbing her chin. "That is strange...sounds like those Nia and Kira characters are behind it." she concludes as the door opens and Rage walks in.

"Flora I'm back!" he says before seeing her and Twilight on the couch. "Er...Twilight?" he asks surprised "What are you doing here?"

"Rage!" Flora exclaims "You need to hear this!"

"What?" he asks sitting down in a chair. Twilight then explains everything to him. Rage listened with little emotion change in his face,

"...so then I came here." Twilight finishes and Rage rubs his chin.

"Hmm... and you're positive you didn't just dream this up last night?" he asks. Twilight glares at him and turns to show a large bruise on the left side of her face. Rage looks rather surprised at it.

"Strange..." Rage says "I have no idea what to say honestly. I can say that something is up and we can't just sit around on it. Come on, we're going to get to the bottom of this." he concludes standing back up.

"What about me?" Flora asks.

"It might be best for you to stay here..." Rage says "I don't know what is going on at the school and I don't want it to end up affecting you. Especially if there is something more sinister in the works."

"I can handle myself Rage!" Flora pouts.

"I am not doubting that." Rage agrees. "But you're not enrolled there so who knows what could happen if you're found out." Flora sighs and sits back down.

"Fine but I am not happy." she says as Rage and Twilight head out.

Back at CHS Kira was standing on a balcony. "This is our castle now"! He laughs looking at the transformed school "We're the king and queen!"

"Don't let it go to your head." Nia chuckles in her flirtatious voice. The two look out over the courtyard and Kira spots Rage and Twilight. He points down to them.

"It's that girl from before!" he shouts.

"Looks like she brought a friend this time." Nia smirks.

Rage and Twilight reach the entrance and stop looking up the now stone castle like wall of the school. "What the..what happened?" he asks

"I don't know it wasn't like this when I left!" Twilight panics.

"Get ready." Rage says "I don't know what it's like inside..." he warns walking to the entrance with caution.

"Should we stop them?" Kira asks Nia.

"No." Kira chuckles "Once he enters like the others he will fall under the spell. Then we grab the girl."

"If not?" Kira asks.

"The guards will deal with them." Nia sighs as they head back inside.

As for Rage and Twilight the two had pushed the now large doors open and looked around. "I don't know what is going on but I don't like it." Rage says.

"HALT!" A voice shouts. Rage and Twilight look to see what appeared to be guards in suits of armor run up to them. Three in silver and one in gold. "State your business!" the one in gold says.

"Hold up!" one of the guards in silver says "That girl was the one who escaped!"

"Returning for your punishment then?" the one in gold asks "And a boy who is harboring a criminal? Both are capital offenses!" it shouts before it and the three turn into goo puddles and emerge as demon figures.

Rage summons his sword and looks at the monsters. "Demons?!" he exclaims looking at them. "Stay behind me Twilight!" he orders as Twilight slumps behind him.

"You wish to fight?" the one who had once donned the gold armor asks "So be it!" it shouts charging at Rage. Rage blocks the attack with his sword and kicks ti back.

"My turn!" he shouts swinging his sword and defeating the demon in one hit. The others watching their leader perish back up and run off. "I don't think so!" Rage yells as he changes his sword into a bow and fires arrows of energy striking each one. With a smirk he dismisses his weapon and Twilight runs up to him.

"It looks like whatever those two did...they're using demons as guards?" she asks.

"Appears so." Rage says crossing his arms. "Come on we need to move. No doubt more will be coming after that." he says and the two run down one of the corridors. They pass by what looked like cells and Twilight stops him. "Rage!" she says and he looks back and meets her. The two look into the cells and see Sunset's old friend Starlight.

"Starlight Glimmer?" he asks looking at her she looks up scared. Then she calms down a bit.

"Rage..." she says it was obvious she had a grudge still though fear still filled her voice. "Do you know what's going on?"

"You've got just as much of a clue as I do." Rage says crossing his arms. "How did you get in there?"

"Well...I came to school today and found the school like this." she answers "Some guys in armor captured me and threw me in this cell."

"Hmm..." Rage crosses his arms.

"You're going to let me out right?" she asks. Rage looks at her and shakes his head.

"No." he says.

"But...you can't leave me here!" she shouts "If it's about what I did to you and Sunset I am sorry!" she begs.

"That has nothing to do with it." Rage says "The past is the past. Right now until I know more about what's going on you're safer in there..."

"You will come back though right?" she asks.

Rage nods and Twilight looks at him "Rage!?" she exclaims "You're just going to let her out later even after all she's done?! She deserves to be in there for the rest of her life!"

"Twilight!" Rage exclaims "What's gotten into you? I can't leave her like this even after everything she's done."

It was then Nia's laugh could be heard as the sound of high heels could be heard. "Funny even now it affects her but she can realize it." Nia says as she walks into the view of the two with Kira next to her.

"Who are you?" Twilight asks "Tell me what you did to Sunset!"

"Oooh you sure are worked up about this..." she chuckles. "Guess it can't be helped." she laughs. "After all you're infected just as much as she is."

"So you're the one behind all of this aren't you?" Rage asks.

"You got me." she chuckles. "I am Nia and this is my brother Kira. All of this is our doing. Though this is only-" she was then cut off by Rage.

"Only the beginning the world is next and all, blah, blah, blah. Yeah I've heard that one more than a few times." Rage sighs. Nia looks at him almost surprised.

"Just who are you?" she asks. "You aren't normal that much is obvious if you managed to kill my guard captain...and that sword you had...it sure was interesting."

"Well I guess it's only fair to exchange formalities." Rage sighs "My name is Ragis Chaotic. Everyone calls me Rage though."

"Rage..." Nia says rubbing her chin.

"I remember that name..." Kira exclaims. "Starlight mentioned you!"

"She did?" Rage asks looking at her and she blushes embarrassed.

"Said you'd come along and stop us." Kira laughs.

"Well she was right." Rage scowls. "I am not exactly one to take kindly to a few things. One is Darkness the other is people who hurt my friends. From the looks of it you've done plenty to my friends." he summons his sword. "For that...You're dead!" he shouts running at the two. Kira leaps in front of Nia and grab's Rage's sword and disarms him before looking at the sword.

"My, my such craftsmanship..." he chuckles "Would be ironic if I killed you with it!" he shouts raising it. However it then vanished and reappeared in Rage's hands. "Sorry Kira." Rage says "That sword only answers to me!" he says running again. This time Nia scoffs and puts a shield up.

"Pathetic." she says with a scoff. "We have no time nor desire to let peasants like you wriggle around like worms in our castle." she then uses a force of wind to send him and Twilight flying out.

Rage lands on his feet and runs to the door before it slammed shut in his face and he hit it. Kira then appears behind him and grabs him by his jacket. "Let this be your warning, stay out of our way and I will let you live...however next time you won't be so lucky Ragis Chaotic." she shouts throwing him

"Don't think that this is over." Rage says standing back up. "I won't give up!" he yells charging again but she vanished and reappears on the balcony.

"Farewell." she says walking inside as a barrier is put up around the school. Rage clenches his fist and punches the ground.

"DAMMIT!" he curses as Twilight runs up to him.

"Are you okay?" she asks as he stands up.

"I am fine..." he says glaring up at the balcony. "Come on, we have to retreat for now...come up with a plan."

"You're going to go back in there?" Twilight asks as the two walk away.

"You're damn right I am." he says baring his teeth. "I will not let that Nia have the last laugh nobody hurts my friends and gets away with it..."

"Rage! Don't be foolish!" Twilight yells "She wiped the floor with you! You can't just go back in there on your own!"

"I won't be." Rage says "I am going to find help...somehow..." he says.

"Rage..." Twilight says as they return to his house and he goes right to his room. Flora looks confused.

"Did something happen?" she asks Twilight.

"Well..." She sighs "We made it to the school, found it transformed into some castle and when Nia confronted us she just wiped the floor with Rage and kicked us out."

"You're kidding..." Flora asks here eyes shrinking in shock. "Is XL okay?!"

"I don't know..." Twilight says looking up the stairs "Rage is taking it hard."

"He's going back isn't he?" Flora asks.

"Yeah..." Twilight answers "He isn't thinking straight...he's too focused on his pride right now..." she sighs as they heard the water for a shower turn on.

"What can we do?" Flora asks.

"I don't know." Twilight answers. "Wait for him to calm down I guess..."
