Rage sat up in his bed, he looked at his alarm clock and sighed. He hadn't slept well the previous night his mind on what had happened at CHS the other day. He looks at his hand and sighs. "I just need to let it go." he sighs getting out of bed.
Rage got around and headed for school. His mind wandered as he walked and before he knew it he was at the schoolyard. Students clamored around him and he looks around. He kept walking before a thud caught his attention. It was that of a person hitting the ground. He looks to see a kid on the ground. Standing above him was a taller kid with dark hair. He laughed as the other kid stands up fearfully. Behind the taller kid were three others.
"Is that it?" the tall dark haired kid asks with a smirk. "You're just like the others!" he says raising a fist. Rage quickly runs over and grabs the taller kids arm.
"That's enough." Rage says in a grim tone. The kid looks at Rage with a glare.
"What are you going to do about it?" the kid asks as the other kid runs off and Rage stands between the two.
"Well I'd prefer you let it go and we go our separate ways." Rage says crossing his arms.
"Tsk, what makes you think I'm going to listen to a brat like you?!" the kid scoffs.
"Brat?" Rage smirks amused by the comment. "Do you expect some witty comeback?"
"Sh-shut up!" he shouts swinging a punch at Rage who avoids it with little effort. Surprised Rage didn't retaliate he swings again, and again...and again. Each time no better than the last. Eventually Rage was up against the horse statue. The kid smirs. "Nowhere to run this time!" he shouts swinging again. By now a crowd had gathered to see what was happening.
Nearby Twilight and Sunset were heading inside talking. "Wait." Twilight says stopping Sunset "What's going on?" she asks. Sunset shrugs and the two run over.
"Oop!" Rage grunts jumping up onto the base of the statue causing the kid to punch it instead. He shouts in pain as some blood pours out of his knuckles. "For a bully you sure suck at throwing punches." Rage taunts from atop the statue. "I'd have thought at least one of those would have at least come close."
"Sh-shut up!" the kid shouts again.
"Is that all you can say?" Rage asks "I guess what they say about bullies is true, all brawn and no brains." he chuckles. A few kids made an "oooo" sound as the black haired kid smirks. A flame erupts from his hand and he swings it for Rage. This one hit him right in the chin causing him to fly up before crashing down throwing dirt and dust up.
"Hmph not so tough now are you?" he asks as the dust settles Rage was standing his chin a bit red from the attack.
"Hmph I've felt worse." Rage says unfazed. "My turn." he says as he dashes so fast the kid didn't see it coming and he hits him right in the face causing him to fly back a few feet and land on his butt. His friends look at Rage with angered expressions and do various things to attempt to intimidate Rage.
"Any of you swing at me..." Rage says in a deep serious tone, "It will be the last punch any of you throw." the three back up and leave him alone after hearing this.
"Fair enough." he says looking back to the black haired kid who had gotten back up on his feat.
"Why don't you tell me who you are." Rage says.
"You should be dead. No human can survive that attack!" the kid sputters.
"That doesn't answer my question..." Rage shrugs as he sighs. "Geez don't make me try."
"What was that?" the kid shouts "TRY? Are you saying you're not trying?!"
"No I am not. If I was serious you wouldn't be standing right now." Rage says crossing his arms. "I advise you to back off." He orders.
"Th-this isn't over! I won't let you get away with this!" He shouts scurrying to his feet and running off. Sunset and Twilight then check on Rage.
"What was all of that about?" XL asks walking up.
"No clue I found that kid and a few of his friends picking on another kid so I did what I do best." Rage says shrugging. "Though that was interesting..."
"What was? His shock at how you handled it or the fact the kid could use pyromancy?" Sunset asks.
"The pyromancy thing." Rage says "Last time I checked only the girls, Sonic, Shadow, XL, and myself had much for abilities here. Lately however I have been sensing more magic..."
"How though?" XL asks "Some other dark master or something?"
"No I don't think it's that..." Rage says "Though don't quote me on that. I could be wrong."
"Why can't we just have a normal day?!" Twilight sighs.
"You're friends with Rage and us normality was
thrown out the window when you met us." XL smirks.
"Hey!" Rage shouts as Sonic and Shadow join the four.
"Beautiful day isn't it?" Sonic asks
"Very much so." Rarity says as she walks up with Rainbow Dash.
"We should head inside though we'll be late to class." Twilight says. The others agree and head on in. Rage however stood and was looking spaced out.
"Hey uh Rage?" Sonic asks snapping in front of his face. Rage jumps back to reality. "You okay?"
"Huh? Yeah." He says "I'll be inside in a sec." he says. Sonic shrugs and the others walk inside. Rage looks at the front door and blinks. For a second he saw a castle just like what had happened to it a few days ago. He blinks again and rubs his eyes seeing CHS normally this time. "What...?" He asks himself.
"You okay?" Twilight asks and Rage looks at her.
"Y-yeah." He lies walking by her. "Just a lapse in memory."
"Hmmm." She says "You sure?"
"Yeah." He says looking down faking a sad face. Twilight nods.
"I see I won't bug you about it." She says walking by him.
"Pssst!" A voice calls to Rage who looks around. "Over here!" It whisper shouts. Rage
finall found the source of the call. It was Flora.
"Flora?" He asks walking over "What?"
"It's Kira. He wants to see you." She says.
"But I need to get to class." Rage objects "I will chat during lunch." He says before running off not giving her a chance to argue.
Rage ran for his science class. Again for a second he saw not the school's hallway but a castle hallway instead. He rubs his eyes as he reaches the classroom and walks in. He takes his seat as the bell rings.
The morning goes by with more incidents where Rage saw a castle. He was starting to freak out some inside. Was he the only one who saw this? He must have been since the others hadn't mentioned it nor had any other kids.
Rage was stopped in the hall by a person in a hoodie. "What do you want?" He asks. The person puts the hood down to reveal it was Kira. "Kira?" He asks.
"Rage...I wanted to apologize..." he says.
"No need it's over and done with...can I ask you a question though?" He replies. Kira nodded in confirmation and Rage inhales "All day I swear the school has been appearing as a castle for a second then back to being a school...do you know why?"
"Thank God!" Kira praises "I am not the only one...but that's not a good thing..."
"Why?" Rage asks
"Well I dunno if you would understand it..." Kira says "Or believe it..."
"Kira...I was born on another planet, I have killed incarcerations of what are basically gods, destroyed darkness incarnations, saved various worlds and there is at least 4 other 'Rage's of which I have fought alongside when all of our universes were threatened. So by all means tell me." Rage says crossing his arms.
"Alright..." he says "So remember my sister? How she changed the school like she did?"
"Yeah she made it into this castle that's been warped." Rage confirms.
"Well you see what she really did was create a temporal disruption that caused the Dark Realm of this world to bleed into this reality. It just made it so that the school which is a castle in this Dark Realm as it reflects the heart of the one in control of the Dark Realm transform. Once you defeated her the distortion was unable to stay stable and the school changed back but since then...for some reason this has been happening." Kira explains
"You don't know why?" Rage asks and Kira shakes his head "Hmmm." He rubs his chin "whatever it is I doubt anything good will come of it...how come the others don't notice?"
"I think it has to do with tied to darkness..." Kira theorizes. "You and I have the deepest ties...even if yours comes from destroying and balancing it...nonetheless you have been into the dark worlds so you know all about them."
"I can't argue that I know too much about darkness more than I would like. Still, it explains why others can't see it but we can. Real question is the why. Why is it happening? Who or what is causing it?" Rage responds rubbing his chin.
"It is possible with my sister's death it caused a temporal rift between the worlds?" Kira says in a more unsure and questioning tone.
"No...then it would start to slowly become less frequent. The frequency of the 'shifts' as I will call them hasn't seemed to have changed at all." Rage dismisses the idea."
"Then I have no clue what's causing it." Kira admits.
"Don't beat yourself up over it." Rage says "We can investigate later."
"How?" Kira asks.
"We'll just have to pay a visit to the Dark Realm." Rage says.
"Are you crazy?!" Kira exclaims. "The very ar is dangerous to you light dwellers!"
"Until I know what's going on only I will go." Rage says "You are right my friends will be harmed by the atmosphere there. I don't want to risk them yet as we don't even know if it's anything to get so worked up about."
"What about you?!" Kira asks.
"I'm a Chaos Guardian I can safely survive there due to my abilities." Rage replies. "Why don't you and I meet outside by the statue after school?" He suggests.
"Just be sure others don't know." Kira says.
"Only if you do the same." Rage agrees. The two then part ways.
The rest of the day drug on as Rage finished up his last class. As he was walking out XL runs up to him. "Rage!" He calls. Rage turns and stops allowing him to catch up.
"What's up?" Rage asks as XL catches his breath.
"You busy tonight?" He asks.
"Yes actually I am going to help Icezer with something back home." He lies.
"Really?" XL asks excited "Mind if I tag along?" He
requests.
"No can do." Rage answers "He said he was dealing with things he wanted to keep private."
"Oh..." XL says looking bummed out "Oh well, Flora's still staying at your place right?"
"Yeah she should be there." Rage says XL thanks him before running off. Rage shakes his head as he makes his way to the meeting point he and Kira had agreed upon.
"You ready to go?" He asks and Rage nods. "Alright we still don't know what we may find."
"Yeah but we need to find out anyway." Rage says as Kira transports them to the Dark World.
Once inside Rage summons his sword and a back worn sheath appeared with which he sheaths it in. The two turn around to see the school's Dark counterpart, a castle that looked a lot like the school. "This is it." Rage says as the two walk in.
Inside a large entry stairway greeted them on the wall was a portrait of what reminded them of Principal Celestia.
"This place is insane..." Kira says "It is vastly different from my sister's castle but also so similar..."
"That doesn't help us with finding out what's going on." Rage says "Let's go." He orders and the two run up the main staircase then up to the left one.
Kira opens the door at the too and the two find themselves in what looked like the dining area.
Paying no mind to it they left it and backtracked this time checking the right side which appeared to be an armory or training room. The two went in and passed through another door at the end of the hall. "This place is massve." Kira says and Rage nods.
The two wandered for what felt like hours until they found themselves looped back to the main entrance.
"Well that does it for the right side." Rage says.
"So you are the filthy worms that invaded my castle." A voice calls. Rage and Kira both turn their heads to find the source of the voice. Walking down the left staircase was...
"Principal Celestia?" Rage asks aloud. It looked like her but her eyes were amber and an aura of dark energy flowed around her. Her attire was royal looking but also didn't seem to cover her much. She merely chuckles.
"That would be Queen Celestia worm." She says "You must be familiar with my other." She chuckles.
"What is this place?" Rage asks.
"My castle...but judging from your looks and that power you're a filthy light dweller. A perfect fit for accompanying a traitor!" She laughs as knights similar to what Nia had used appeared and changed into monsters. Rage draws his sword ready for battle.
"I guess I can tell you more about what's happening in your world." She says "you see Principal Celestia has her own dark desires and they have been festering within her which gave birth to this place...slowly I am consuming her and once I do this place will merge with CHS! Those little glimpses you've been seeing are the result of the school and this castle being so close together."
"Dark desires?" Rage asks and the Dark Celestia nods.
"Yes you have heard the rumors have you not? About Celestia's 'dealings' with students?" She chuckles
"What?!" Rage demands to know.
"Hmph I see no reason to indulge you further." She scoffs "Send them to the dungeon!" She orders.
"We're outnumbered." Kira says as the Shadows close in.
"Damn." Rage curses before the two surrender without any fuss. They are then taken to a cell which is slammed shut and locked.
"The queen will be happy to visit you two soon." The guard in golden armor chuckles before it walks away.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Rage asks as the guard walks off.
"You really don't know about the rumors?" Kira asks.
"No." Rage says
"There has been rumors that Celestia...has sex with students..." Kira says.
"They're rumors." Rage scoffs "While that Dark version of her might the real Celestia would never. Come on we need to think about what to do after I break us out." He says sitting on one of the beds.

Been awhile since a question was asked, A Gues asks Rage; Why were you named Rage
Rage: Well Rage is actually a nickname. My true name is Ragis Chaotic. Ragis can mean a few things but I am named after an Old World grain which was the inspiration for my darker red coloration that was originally used before a lighter color was decided on.
As always you can ask any member of the main cast (Aside from XL and Flora I don't own them I an using then with permission)
