A/N: This is a short chapter compared to my others. I liked to try and average 2k per chapter but I have decided mostly due to my free time I will write as much as I can for a chapter and try to make it from 1k-2k (this is 1.3k). I hope that this will help keep things moving along. Anyway here you go;

Chapter 3-16: Krosis Part 1

"Okay so why did you let us get captured?" Kira asks

"Because we then appears as less of a threat." Rage says as he continued fiddling with the lock to the cell.

"Okay so say we get out of here then what?" Kira continues his line of questions.

"We get back to the light world and grab some help." Rage says "I can already tell this world's atmosphere is not like Dark Mobius' and XL, Sonic, Shadow, Flora and myself will all be okay. I can cast a protection spell for the girls or we leave them back." He explains as the lock pops and he slowly swings the door open. "C'mon" he says leading Kira out of the cell.

The two make their way through the prison and back to the main hall. "We're almost there." Rage says...it was then a large wall of magic blocks them. "What?!" He exclaims

"I'm surprised you managed to escape." A voice chuckles. Rage and Kira turn to see what looked like Twilight back during the friendship games.

"You!" Rage says "You're that Dark Twilight."

"Hmph that's Midnight Sparkle to you knave!" She scoffs.

"What are you doing here?!" Kira asks

"Isn't it obvious?" She chuckles "This is my castle now! Ever since that weakling Nia was defeated I was given control over this castle...this sector of the world. By our generous ruler...with the barrier keeping the dark and light worlds weakening soon they will merge...now then how did you get here?"

"That dark Celestia locked us up after we stumbled in by accident from the light world." Rage lies.

"I see well...I guess I could let you go after all you would only be returning for what small amount of time the light world has left. Once the barriers are weak enough I will converge this place with that school!"

"No." Rage says summoning his sword "I won't let that happen!"

"Hmph fine then you can rot back in your cell!" She scoffs before extending her arm and pointing at him. It was then beasts spawn from the ground.

"Dark Spawns!" Rage comments as they attack him. Rage dispatches of them one by one with little effort. He was used to these things. "That all you got?" He asks looking to Midnight who bares her teeth in anger and fires a beam of energy which Rage leaps to avoid.

"If you want something done you do it yourself." She sneers walking down the final flight of stairs

"I'll make this quick." Rage says dashing to attack. Midnight Sparkle starts to fire off beams of energy to keep Rage at a distance.

She knew Rage preferred close range encounters. However she forgot, he wasn't alone. A blast of energy caught her off guard from the side as Kira joined in. "Agh son of a-" she curses before Rage hits her from the front.

"You're outmatched." Rage says "Give up."

"Hahahahahahaha..." she chuckles "You shouldn't judge so hastily

"Wha-" Rage begins to question before a blast of energy nearly hits him if he hadn't have rolled out of the way. One then hits Kira sending him to his knees. He then looks over to see a tall man. He was dressed very formally and has short hair. Reddish eyes glared at him.

"I was wondering why you had fallen behind Midnight. This human bugging you?" The man asks in an authoritative voice.

"L-Lord Krosis!" Midnight exclaims

"Krosis..." Kira says

"Oh hello Kira..." he says looking at Rage. "Now tell me what brings a pitiful Light Dweller to the Dark Realm?" Krosis asks.

"Well I would think the answer is obvious." Rage says crossing his arms.

"Ah you must have come here because you stumbled through a rift..." he answers."If that's the case you should leave..."

"Sorry." Rage replies "No I came here willingly."

"Oh?" Krosis asks surprised a bit "Then why haven't you fallen under the effects of the darkness...?"

"Have you ever heard of Chaos Guardians?" Rage asks

"I have heard of the legends. The ones from another world's light realm who fought Grand Lord Vlagh." Krosis answers "The ones who died out to stop him."

"Well what if I told you...I am a Chaos Guardian?" Rage asks. Krosis merely laughs at the claim.

"Then I would say you are full of visions of grandeur!" He scoffs.

"Then how do you explain my immunity to your precious Darkness?" Rage asks.

"I don't know but I have no time to argue nor deal with you. I have plans so I will return you to your light world so you may enjoy your last precious moments of life...you see..." Korsis grumps

"You plan to fuse the light and dark worlds, enslave all light dwellers blah blah blah." Rage mocks "Yeah I know same old song and dance. Vlagh wanted it, Nix wanted it, Nightmare Moon wanted it, Dex wanted it I know how this goes..."

"Is that so?" Krosis asks "Well I guess it is to be expected...after all it's only destiny that it will happen one day."

"As if." Rage scoffs "If you were a Dark Lord with any sense you'd know the two realms are fated to be driven apart again. That's how it is...nothing about that has changed at all."

"That was when there were Chaos Guardians...now there isn't." Krosis chuckles.

"You know...I don't know why I bother." Rage sighs before darting to Krosis. However Krosis grabs him in a magical energy.

"Ah, ah ah..." he chuckles "I don't think so. You may not be a Chaos Guardian but it is clear you pose a threat to my plans...Therefore I have to keep you from interfering...er...who are you exactly?"

"My name..." Rage struggles before Krosis laughs and the grip squeezes him.

"Oh I shouldn't have asked I don't care...what is the name of a spineless kid to me?" he laughs.

"D-damn you!" Rage curses.

"Oh my you have quite a mouth too!" Krosis chuckles "You are turning out to be quite the prize...perhaps you could be useful..."

"Let him go!" Kira shouts standing up before falling back to his knees.

"You have no right to speak to me like that you bumbling fool!" Krosis shouts kicking him to the ground. "I am going to take this boy and turn him...just like I did your sister!"

"Shut up!" Kira shouts before Krosis hits him with an energy blast.

"As for you I am going to send you back to that stupid little Light World you've seemed to have grown such an attachment for so you can live out what little time you have left in your pathetic and miserable life!" Krosis scowls as a portal of darkness opens under Kira slowly pulling him in.

"N-no!" Kira shouts trying to keep himself from being pulled in. It was an act of vain however as he hadn't the strength to do so.

"Now with him gone..." Krosis chuckles turning back to Rage "Let's get you dealt with my little red head..." he laughs. Midnight smirks as he turns to leave. "Oh and Midnight I don't want anymore delays! We need to be ready by tonight!"

"You won't get away with this..." Rage struggles to say.

"What was that?" Krosis asks "I thought you said something about me not getting away with this? Well that's where you're wrong...I already have!" he laughs "I have you captured and there is nothing you can do to free yourself!" he smirks watching Rage struggle.

"What kind of magic is this..." he grunts "What have you done?!"

"I don't see any need to tell you...besides then you might find a way to break out...and we don't want that now do we?" Krosis chuckles sinisterly.

'Well damn he didn't tell me...that normally works...' Rage thinks to himself. 'Still I will find a way out...I hope...'
