Hard to believe it's been over three years huh? The fateful day I met Rainbow and the others feels like a lot longer than that. So much has happened since then.
I'm Rage. Or Ragis Chaotic if you want to be that guy. Yeah you know. The red head. That guy who watches over a few gems. The idiot who hoped for a peaceful life... Yeah that Rage.
Lot has happened since the day Sonic, Shadow and I met the girls. It feels like a lifetime ago. Especially given how Sunset has changed and well...you know. She and I are a thing. Hard to believe she was a total psychopath at one point now. She's so different and I love who she is now.
Sonic and Rainbow Dash have a solid relationship themselves. Applejack and Fluttershy seem to be making it work. Rest of em' aren't dating anyone. Before any of you nosy guys ask, no we haven't and no, I don't know about the others.
We've had a lot of adventures and things happen over the last three years. From the Fall Formal to that crazy student locking the school down. The Music Festival to the Friendship Games. Even Vlagh and Dex showing up.
Our first day at Canterlot High School should have been enough to warn me. Walking in on Sunset pranking Rainbow Dash? Standing up to her and all...Yeah, it was wild. If you want to talk about first impressions I am sure that would be up there.
Then there was the Fall Formal and how I learned that Twilight was from yet another world. I mean, that doesn't surprise me given my background and all. Though it was very surprising to find out how closely yet another world is connected to the world CHS is in. The closer the worlds are connected the easier it is to traverse between them...does that make sense?
No? Ok think like this; all of the worlds are like the internet. The closer you are the easier you can get to a world or website. The further the long and more difficult. Now, this also means there are other things that can determine if you can get to any given world. How well versed you are at getting to other worlds and if you've been too and from before. The more often you go the easier it becomes for you to travel there.
Hopefully that makes it a bit easier to understand since we're straying off topic. Where was I? Ah yes, CHS. So not long after the fall formal was the whole music festival. That was a blast. Musically empowered demons against Sonic, Shadow and I in our little band? Yeah we kicked ass. That should be a given though.
Honestly I never expected my past to catch up with me like it did. Guess fate decided that I don't get a choice in the matter. What brought Vlagh to this world is still a question that lingers in my mind to this day.
I have been fighting Vlagh for as long as I can remember. He is ever present in my mind. When will he pop up again? Will he finally get what he wants? Will I fail next time? All questions I ask way more than I should.
Oh then there was the whole Friendship Games! Yeah, get ready for this one; THERE WAS ANOTHER TWILIGHT! Well...by that I mean this world's Twilight who is a lot like the other Twilight who I still slip away to talk to from time to time. Princess Twilight is doing well from what I understand. Gotta say the time I went to visit was...weird...
We're all seniors now though so I guess the past is just that much farther away. College is on the mind of many even with the school year having a few weeks before it starts.
Our summer has been uneventful. Which is crazy. I mean when have we had some real downtime?! Either it's magic running amuck, some ancient lord of evil or well, just something wanting to ruin our day! It is a nice change of pace for sure. Knock on wood it will last.
Everyone is thinking about what we will do after high school. Sonic for sure is returning to Mobius and I am fairly certIn Shadow is going too. Sonic and Rainbow Dash broke up too which makes it easier for him to run away.
Most of the girls plan to go off to Ponyville University after school is over. I don't know if I'll go with them or if I will return to Mobius as well. If I stay Sonic and Shadow will be without any means to definitively stop Eggman or other threats if it ends up being a job for their super form. At the same time if I go back I put the Chaos Emeralds in more danger. I do miss my home though.
Honestly, I am leaning more towards staying here. I don't have family to go back to anymore. Parents died a long time ago. Sure I have Icezer and Xage but they're busy with families now I think...? Time between here and Mobius is just so slightly skewed at times. Which is weird given how closely connected the two are...I'll have to look into why it is one of these days...
Anyway back on topic; you know there has been more than what you've read that has happened? Like when Amy crossed over looking for Sonic? Oh boy was that a lot of fun. Rainbow Dash was so pissed. It was quite a fight to get her back to Mobius.
Honestly, I was afraid Amy was going to kill RD given her previous track record. I guess that's what happens when you have a few screws loose like she does. I wonder if we will see her again... That was not long after the music festival. My guess was she slipped in when Robotnik found his way into the world. No idea why she took so long to find us...maybe she got spat out in the middle of nowhere or something.
So the last adventure was in the Dark World with some people trying to merge the worlds. That was fun. Been a long time since I was captured so that was fun...Since that happened I returned a few times with Kira to check on a few things. Thankfully it seems like we've got nothing to worry about for now...
Authors Note: I do wish to apologize for such a short chapter and such a long delay I have been caught up with work and other projects. Ever since this pandemic started I have been working an upwards of 60 to 80 hours a week. Hopefully with things somewhat starting to go back to as normal as can be (work schedule at least...I hope) I will have more time to work on this. Also crazy how I have been working on this for so long
