It had been years since they started the search for the jewel. They were only a few shards away from having it complete and they had destroyed the evil Naraku. Other than that they were still the same.
Nice, kind Kagome, rash, hot-tempered Inu-Yasha, friendly, reliable Sango, lecherous, perverted Miroku.
Except for him, he had changed. the small little fox demon he had been was no more. He was as big as the rest and very muscular. He had long brown hair that fell into his deep blue eyes. His tail was bushy and his goofy, childish paws had turned into nice strong hands.
The others still often thought of him as a child, but he was not. He was as strong as Koga and as mature as the rest of them. He often hung out with Koga, Ginta, and Hakkaku. He also had somewhat of a girlfriend, Rin. But it was a secret, only he and she knew. She had grown as well, from a sweet and innocent girl, to a still nice and sweet, but outstanding beauty.
She liked him to, but they rarely saw each other. When they saw each other they would talk until Sessho-Maru and Inu-Yasha stopped fighting. Everyone else would be so busy they wouldn't even notice them talking, Jaken would be cheering on his lord and taunting Inu-Yasha, Sango, Kagome, and Miroku would be busy supporting Inu-Yasha.
In the last year or so, however, they had really realized they cared for each other.
They had been talking when all of a sudden Shippo grabbed her hand and kissed her. When the kiss finally broke he let go of her hand and turned away, face red, muttering "sorry". That's when Rin surprised him, she said "It's ok, Shippo, I really, well, I really like you." Shippo pulled her into a close embrace and said "me to".
From then on whenever they saw each other they would sneak away from the others and he would give her a kiss and a hug and they would talk and talk.
"Shippo! Lets go it's time to get up." Kagome called waking Shippo from his dream of the time he had spent with Rin.

Ya, I know nothing happened in this chapter but it is kinda an introduction to the story I promise the next chapter will be better and everyone will talk, I just kinda needed to let everyone know all that for the rest of the story.
