Chapter 1:A new world
Natsuki Subaru was a boy 15 years of age who himself believed to be no one special. He was someone who stayed holed up in his room as a result of not going to school. It's not that he was bad at it, he just wasn't good enough, no one would be his friend, and he had no real talents. He just didn't want to go anymore. This had been going on 1 month now and his parents were not able to convince him to go back.
He felt guilty about this because they were awesome parents and he just wasn't a good enough son for them, so at the very least he kept up with his workouts not just because he liked working out but also he did not want to disappoint them further than he already had. He also took some kendo classes because he thought a sword was a cool weapon to learn even if no one uses them anymore and his parents told him to pick up a hobby so he figured kendo would be a good one.
"I haven't been going to school for months now. I am really am disappointment huh" though Subaru in self-deprecation.
The next evening he went out to buy at the convenience store. After picking up the ramen and chips plus some fruit he decided to buy on whim he walked towards the counter.
"That will be 363 yen"
Subaru paid up and after making sure he had all of the things ( ramen, chips, apples, and his phone) he left. I should probably get back soon before mom gets worried. Right after thinking this he suddenly felt dizzy and had to rub his eyes. "I knew I shouldn't have stayed up Gaming till 3 am," said Subaru and as he opened his eyes he found himself very surprised as he suddenly found himself in a forest.
"What?" said Subaru as it was all he could think of at the moment. How did I get here? I'm sure I was leaving the convenience store and suddenly found myself here was I... Was I kidnaped?!?! A slight panic settled in and made him drop his bags on the ground. He forced himself to calm down. and look around instead. "No, there is no way that's the case, why would anyone want to get me." as he said this he started walking in a random direction deciding that he should explore the place. "And even if someone kidnapped me then why can I walk around freely? plus there is no way I wouldn't have noticed someone knocking me out right?"
Convinced by his line of thinking he continued walking forward but still wondering how did I get here?. Around 15 minutes passed when he heard a sound in the bushes. It sounded like someone or something was moving in there. Fueled by his curiosity Subaru approached the bush with caution not only because he was still wary of how he was in this place, but also because he had a bad feeling that told him something bad would happen if he got too close but curiosity won.
The closer he got the more that feeling grew, and finally after a few moments he saw it.
It looked like a wolf, like the ones he had seen on the tv back at his house but this one had a horn at the top of its head and black fur with some pale brown in its stomach section. It had sharp teeth as if they were made to rip through flesh and red eyes that shone brightly as it was staring directly at Subaru.
Neither of them moved for a couple of seconds but those seconds felt like an eternity to Subaru. His instincts were screaming at him to run, to run as fast and far away as he possibly could. He wanted nothing more than to do that but was afraid he would startle the beast into chasing him and he knew he would not be able to outrun it before it caught up to him.
After a few more seconds finally, something happened.
???: GRRRRRRRRR
The beast ran towards the boy who did the only thing he could do at the moment.
He ran.
Hello everyone this is my first fic that I wrote after looking through my gallery and saw this Idea so I decided to write it. This is not my original idea. I got it from the reactionist discord in fanfic-prompts.
I did my best to write it to the best of my ability but anything that I did wrong feel free to point it out in the reviews
As you probably noticed Subaru has not realized he is in a different world because he appeared in a forest. Don't worry he will notice soon enough. With his increased spirit affinity Subaru will be more prepared for the future.
As I said before I wrote this on a whim so I don't have a schedule for releases(Ill try to get 1 out at least every 2 weeks but no promises don't know how long either) but I do have a vague idea on where I want to take this but as you probably guess from the summary it's gonna be papa Baru and his daughters but it's a good time to remind you that Re:zero is still Re:zero and Subaru is still suffaru. Although i've never written anything like that before so will try at the best of my ability to make it enjoyable for you guys
Also I would like help for the names of the spirits (they are all female keep that in mind)
I have some in mind but I would like you guys to help me with some they might be better than what I and I do need some.
Edit: figures out how to get rid of the dots to line break im proud of myself
