Small yet bright rays of sunlight peak through the small spaces in her blinds. The soft rays hit her eyes and it's enough to cause her to stir herself awake as she clenches her eyes more shut than they already are. Elizabeth feels warm - more cordial than usual.

As her senses wake up with her, Elizabeth feels a hand on her flat stomach and a hand on her left breast. She thinks it's her own hands, but both her hands are under her pillow. The woman instantly opens her eyes. Just as she goes to move away, she feels a warm breath hit her left shoulder. Elizabeth quickly sits up in her bed, and her vision is filled with blonde hair.

The man chuckles. "Good morning, Princess."

Oh boy, the amount of questions she has right this moment.

"What the fuck, Meliodas?" Elizabeth exclaims angrily. What in the world made him think it would be okay to just climb into bed with her? While she was already asleep? "Why in the Lord's name above are you in my bed?"

Meliodas looks at her, though his expression and emerald eyes are unreadable. "Sleepwalk?"

Elizabeth looks at him with an unimpressed look. "Really?" She speculates. "Out of all of the lies and excuses in with world, you chose sleepwalking?" Elizabeth couldn't believe this man. He simply shrugs as he sits up like she does.

"I like your choice of clothing, Elizabeth," the blonde then comments. Confused, she looks down and realizes that she's wearing her rather see-through nightie.

She grabs her blanket and covers herself with it. "Get out of my room," Elizabeth demands. When she looks into his rich green eyes, they're still unreadable but they hold a hint of arrogance and mischief. Before Meliodas gets up, she takes a good look at him. Elizabeth realizes that he'd taken off his hoodie, and it wearing a sleeveless shirt.

His arms are defined and toned and they look rather strong. How is it that he hasn't managed to break one of her bone with arms like that?

Her ocean blue eyes continue to roam his figure, even as he climbs out of her bed. The silverette hears him chuckle but the blonde doesn't turn his head to look at her in the eyes. Meliodas leaves like she requested, but she finds it odd. The man hadn't even try to argue or joke about something lewd... As if he hadn't already done something like that.

As the blonde man closes her bedroom door when he leaves, she lets the blanket drop. God, this is the only and last time she's wearing her nightie to bed when she has someone over.

A buzz comes from her nightstand, and Elizabeth suspects it to be her phone. The woman reaches over to her nightstand and disconnects her phone from the charger. It's a notification from her older sister Veronica.

(Veronica) - 8:26 A.M.

Morning, Ellie!

Elizabeth smiles widely at the softly illuminated screen. She loves how happy her sister seems over text, though her violet haired sister may not show much of it in person.

(Elizabeth) - 8:26 A.M.

Good morning, big sister!

(Veronica) - 8:28 A.M.

Now you decide to answer my texts?

I've been texting you for the past two damn days.

Did you go to that fucking bar again?

Her smile has never faded so fast. Was Veronica the one texting her when she ignored her phone at the bar?

(Elizabeth) - 8:30 A.M.

I'm sorry, Ver. I haven't been checking my phone and if you texted me yesterday, I didn't get the notifications.

(Veronica) - 8:31 A.M.

It's fine, El.

Do you mind visiting me in an hour?

(Elizabeth) - 8:32 A.M.

What for?

(Veronica) - 8:32 A.M.

There's some stuff I need to discuss with you. You won't be able to stay for long since I have people coming over after noon.

That's fine, right?

(Elizabeth) - 8:33 A.M.

Yes, of course that's fine!

I'll start getting ready.

A sigh leaves her as she puts her phone down on her nightstand. How many times in a week will she have to leave her house so early in the fucking morning - mostly because of her father? The few times she left early was to help Arthur clean up at his bar. Something she'd always help him with if her ginger haired friend needed.

Climbing out of her bed, the silver haired woman doesn't bother going to her dresser to take out some clothes for the day. Instead, she goes straight into her bathroom. When she looks into her bathroom mirror after turning on the lights, she has strands of her silver hair poking out in random places. Elizabeth grabs one of her brushes and starts brushing away at her silver hair.

Untangling any knots in her hair, Elizabeth winces when she pulls a bit too hard. The woman puts her brush down when she doesn't feel anymore knots untangle in the brush. She proceeds to grab a hair tie and pulls her hair up into a pony tail.

She takes off her nightie and throws it by the door. Elizabeth continues to remove her panties and unhooks her bra, also throwing the clothing in the same direction as the article of clothing she took off not even a minute ago. Going into her shower, she turns on the shower head, but repositions it so it doesn't wet her hair.

Content when the water runs warm and hits her body, the woman takes a moment to catch a breath. Besides yesterday, she hasn't had much free time to herself. It's either she's running errands for her father, helping Arthur, or even helping her sisters. She's more than happy to help, but she needs time to herself. Going to Arthur's bar to get drunk only gets her so far.

Elizabeth grabs her shower loofah and her body wash, and rubs it all over her body.

Soon enough, the silverette rinses herself off and climbs out of her shower. Elizabeth grabs her towel and wraps it around herself. The woman takes a moment to look at herself in the mirror. Her bangs rest on her forehead, not covering her eyebrows nor her eyes. Bright azure eyes stare back at her. Her eyes dart from her facial features to the earring hanging from her left ear.

It's a similar blue to her own eyes with dark symbols embodied into it. At first, the silverette only saw the earring as a symbol of that of the president's (because it is. It's required for any and current president to harbor a unique symbol), but she eventually embraced it.

A soft exhale leaves her; she didn't want to leave the house anytime soon, but if it's something Veronica needs, she'll leave.

Entering her bedroom, Elizabeth immediately starts going over to her dresser. She opens one of her drawers and takes out one of her favorite shirts; a long sleeved purple tie dye crop top, and also a pair of dark leggings. The woman also grabs a bra and a pair of panties, but before she puts on her shirt, she puts on some deodorant, then gets dressed. After she gets herself situated, Elizabeth slips on a pair lace-up sneakers.

Grabbing her phone off her nightstand, ready to go, the silver haired woman turns a bit too fast and hits her right elbow on the corner of her nightstand.

"Ow!" She yells, her left hand going for her right elbow. "Fuck me!" She curses.

Soft laughing is heard from the other side of her bedroom door. "Nice to know you'd be one to beg," the voice chuckles. Elizabeth freezes. How in the fuck could she forget Meliodas was still here?!

She winces when she stretches her arm. Elizabeth inhales and exhales, already wanting the day to be over. "Shut up," she retorts as she opens her bedroom door. The blonde stands with his arms crossed while he leans on the wall, his green eyes showing nothing but that same arrogance. Meliodas looks her up and down, a sly smirk quickly replacing his straight face.

"Going somewhere?"

"Yes," Elizabeth answers as she walks past him. "My sister's house." Elizabeth wanted to tell him to stay put while she goes to her older sister's house, but she's forgetting one important detail.

She doesn't fucking know the man. "And you're coming with," she decides, because frankly, she doesn't trust him by himself in her apartment. God knows what he'd do. Steal her personal belongings - hell, steal her fucking underwear for all she knows.

Elizabeth won't take any chances. "Okay," the blonde shrugs as he walks beside her. "Do you need a shower... or something," Elizabeth asks as she enters her kitchen.

"Already did; when you were asleep," Meliodas grabs her ass from behind her. She gasps, turning around and smacking his arm.

"What the fuck?"

Meliodas laughs as he gazes into her orbs. "Sorry, you're really tempting me with that outfit of yours," he finishes with a smirk. She rolls her eyes and scoffs, grabbing her car keys from inside an empty jar. She always forgets where she puts her keys, so she put it in an unforgettable place.

"Go put on your hoodie, Meliodas," she tells him as she goes to open her apartment door. "I'll wait for you in my car."

And just like that, Elizabeth's already moving to her car. She lets a huff of annoyance escape her nostrils. How could he have the audacity to touch her like in her own home? And especially after she let him stay the night because his friends kicked him out of their place? Elizabeth couldn't believe the nerve of this man. She wouldn't have to deal with this if she had just decided not to get fucking drunk in Arthur's bar!

Instantaneously opening her car door and climbing into the driver's side of the car, she slams it closed out of frustration. Elizabeth crosses her arms over the steering wheel, her ponytail falling over the right shoulder. The woman huffs, forcing herself to calm down.

Why does everything she does seem to bite her in the ass later? All she wanted was some alcohol in her system and a nice trip home, but instead, she now has Meliodas groping her and kissing her neck whenever the fuck he feels like! He's a pain in the ass and Elizabeth really wishes he would just leave her alone.

Every time she looks at his messy blonde hair and that cowlick at the top of his head, or those bright molten emerald-green eyes, or his soft and smooth lips whenever her smirks at her, she wants to-

"Sorry I took so long," a voice says and Elizabeth hears a car door close. The woman looks up, only to have her vision filled with those familiar messy blonde locks and, for once, a genuine smile. All of a sudden, her anger disappears yet she doesn't know what replaced those feelings... It's odd, seeing as how this very man was the entire reason she was upset in the first place.

Gaping at Meliodas for a few more seconds, Elizabeth turns her head so their gazes aren't locked. "It's fine," she mumbles. She grabs her car keys from the cup holder, and shoves them into the ignition. Not a moment later, and the car engine softly rumbles. She pulls out of the parking lot, ad before she knows it, they're on the street.

It's silent for a few minutes, and she would've liked it if it were silent for longer, but alas, we don't always get what we want. "Hey, Elizabeth?" Meliodas asks for her, breaking the silent peace. She hums in response, her eyes focused on the road. "Can you tell me more about the gang your dad told you about?"

"Why do you care?" Elizabeth blurts out, not meaning to say what she said. Her eyes go slightly wide as the car rolls to a stop at a red light.

"It's just interesting, is all," his green eyes looking out the window of her passenger's side. Elizabeth sighs as she finger brushes her bangs. She still doesn't know why the blonde would want to know about a ruthless and savage gang, but she gives in regardless.

"He doesn't really know much about them," Elizabeth starts. "My father said the leader of the group is the most merciless one out of the seven. Said he's not afraid to get blood on his hands. And despite what he says, I-" she pauses for a moment, considering her next words as she continues to drive when the light turns green. "I don't think he's as cold-hearted as my father makes him out to be. Or any of them, for that matter."

When she glances over to him, Elizabeth sees his reflection through the glass Meliodas is looking through. For the split second she looks into his eyes, they seem... soft, almost. But then his expression goes unreadable, and she can't figure out why.

Just Meliodas being Meliodas, she supposes.

"I don't know why my father makes people he doesn't even know seem so terrible and ill-willed," Elizabeth continues rambling. He just listens. "My father used to be so kind and gentle and attentive. Now he's just... really commanding and dismissive." It's silent for a few minutes, the whole time the woman feels his orbs on her. "I miss the person he used to be," Elizabeth silently discloses. Meliodas shifts in his seat, but doesn't say anything. Elizabeth finds herself not minding the silence for the rest of the car ride.

The only sound filling her ears is the sound of the low rumble of her car engine as she pulls the car up into the neighborhood Veronica lives in.

It's a rather quiet neighborhood, and it's funny to Elizabeth. Veronica is probably one of the most farthest things from quiet. The silverette quietly laughs while Meliodas knits his brows together and give her an odd look. She ignores him for the time being, more focused on parking her car in Veronica's driveway when she nears her older sister's house.

Elizabeth takes out her keys from the ignition and grips it tight in her hand. She grabs her phone with the same hand and sternly looks at Meliodas in his emerald eyes. "If you do something stupid in front of my sister, you won't hear the end of it," is her warning to him before she opens her car door and climbs out of the car. He tenderly chuckles before following her movements.

As they come up onto Veronica's doorstep and ring her doorbell, Elizabeth tightens her hair tie holding her silver hair. When her cerulean eyes dart over to Meliodas, she sees his hands in his hoodie, and a small smile on his face.

She glances away when she hears her sister's door open. Before her, stands her older sister, the widest grin on her face. It makes Elizabeth smile in return.

"Ellie!" Veronica exclaims as the violet haired woman pulls her younger sister into a tight hug. Elizabeth hugs her back, her smile only widening. "Oh, it's been too long since you last visited!" She exclaims as she holds Elizabeth by her biceps when she breaks the hug.

The silverette chuckles, "Well, you did say you had something important to say, Veronica."

"Oh, yeah," Veronica says, turning around and going further into her house. Elizabeth and Meliodas follow. "I almost forgot; I just hadn't seen you in so long. I got so excited!"

They enter the living room, a nice coffee table sitting in the middle of the room, surrounded by a soft looking couch. "Please, sit," Veronica insists as she takes her own seat on a separate chair on the other side of the room. Both Elizabeth and Meliodas sit on the couch, their orbs on Veronica.

Veronica's hair is just as vibrant and lush as Elizabeth remembers it. Her eyes are a soft hazel - almost like sweet honey; Elizabeth had always adored her sister's eyes. Veronica in general is just an amazing person to be around. Just don't get her angry.

"Who's this, Elizabeth?" Her older sister asks, bringing her out of her thoughts. Elizabeth gapes at her sister before looking to her right, Meliodas looking back at her. His green eyes hide something she can't exactly place her finger on, and it continues to perplex her to no end. Why does he keep being so damn mysterious all the time? When he's not being all mysterious, he's either cocky or just infuriating.

Swallowing harder than she intended to, she turns back to Veronica. "Oh, uh - This is Meliodas-"

"Her boyfriend," Meliodas finishes for Elizabeth. She whips her head around to look at him with wide eyes, but his expression is nothing but a sly grin. "Boyfriend, Ellie?" Veronica questions. The silverette turns her attention back to her older sister.

She forces a small smile on her face, "Yes. My boyfriend."

Her sister eyes her suspiciously. "You've never mentioned a boyfriend before. Normally when you get a boyfriend, you always get into your lovey-dovey mood and gush about him," Veronica voices with a laugh. Elizabeth flushes from her toes to the crown of her head. How could her own sister just say things like that? Of course, Veronica doesn't know that she met Meliodas two days ago, but her point still stands!

"Is this what Gil was talking about yesterday?" Her violet haired sibling says. Elizabeth hums in confusion. What did he tell her? "He said it was 'blatantly obvious' you were keeping something from him," she explains as she crosses one of her legs over the other and places both her hands on her knee. "So, is this whole boyfriend thing it?"

Elizabeth was at a loss for words. Of course Gilthunder told Veronica about her behavior! There's no doubt Margaret knows, too. "Yeah, Veronica!" Elizabeth says, her blue orbs looking into her sister's piercing hazel ones. "You know how Gil gets when I'm talking to a guy! He's like an overprotective big brother!"

"Yeah, he may be overprotective," Veronica agrees before closing her eyes. "But the lunatic would eventually warm up to 'em. Remember how long it took him to start getting along with your boyfriend a few years ago? Oh - And remember when he almost beat the shit out of him for ch-"

"Yes! Ver, I remember it quite well!" Elizabeth cuts her off. Lord, this woman has no chill! Veronica starts laughing like no tomorrow, and soon enough, Meliodas starts laughing too. The silver haired woman pouts at both of them. "It's not funny!"

"Pretty funny if I can make your boyfriend laugh, El," Veronica retorts, wiping a tear from her eye. "Your boyfriends were always no fun."

Meliodas clears his throat next to her. "You said 'almost beat the shit out of him'. Beat the shit out of who?" Veronica's jaw goes slightly slack and her honey-brown eyes go wide. Elizabeth sinks into the couch.

"You haven't told him about-"

"No, Veronica, that's a story for a different time, okay?" Elizabeth interrupts. Her older sister sighs, but decides to ultimately let it go, and Elizabeth is grateful. She was not about to just tell Meliodas the most heart-breaking story of her life. She might not even be able to finish the story without tears rolling down and off her cheeks like no tomorrow.

Still, she feels his eyes on her, no doubt holding a confused look.

"What was so important that you needed me to be here?" The silver haired woman asks. Veronica repositions herself so that she's sitting with her legs crossed on her chair, then crosses her arms.

"Our old man keeps asking for you to be by his side - y'know, pretty much what he's always been asking you to do when he's not having you run errands for him?"

A troubled sigh leaves her lips. Her father just will not let this go, will he? "I don't want to, you know that, Ver," Elizabeth tells her sister. Veronica nods, a strong exhale leaving her mouth. Elizabeth takes a quick moment to look at Meliodas, but her eyes don't find his. Instead of staring at her, he's looking around the room like he's a child in a candy store. It brings a soft smile to her lips.

"Yeah, I know, Ellie. But no matter what I tell him, he just dismisses my explanations like I'd just told him what two plus two is."

So he treats her sisters like he treats her? It's fucked - beyond belief. How can her father just treat his own children like the scum of the Earth? Elizabeth can't wrap her mind around it. How is it that he used to be such a kind-hearted man before he became president?

Elizabeth almost hesitates to tell her sister, but she really decides to go through with the idea of opening a pet clinic. She loves animals more than most things, and she thinks it'd make her really happy.

There's a moment of hesitation, but Elizabeth says it. "Veronica, I know father wouldn't be happy with it," she pauses for a short minute, feeling both Veronica's and Meliodas' eyes on her, "but I think I want to open my own pet clinic."

Her violet haired sister merely stares at her before responding. "Really, Ellie? That's fucking great!" An unsteady breath leaves her lungs. Elizabeth really thought Veronica would reprimand her for not choosing to work with - or - for their father. "If you need help, I'm always a call or a text away, okay?"

She loves how thoughtful Veronica is - especially with her. "Thank you, Veronica. But you can't tell father," Elizabeth says.

Veronica's expression looks conflicted after Elizabeth's words, and Elizabeth could tell Veronica was hesitant to say something. "Alright," her older sister agrees, and her body all of a sudden feels like she's floating. "But if he asks-"

"Just - Tell him I'm still thinking about it," Elizabeth says, cutting her off, a smile on playing on her lips.

Veronica sighs, then stands up. "Okay, fine Ellie. Now, scram. I have people coming over soon and I need you out, " Veronica demands, a smile also on her lips. Her violet haired sister disappears around the corner, likely going into her kitchen.

Sparing a glance over to Meliodas as the silverette stands up, all she can see is that arrogant smile on his face. She sighs, already heading to the door, the blonde following close behind.

"Oi, blondie," she hears her sister say from behind. Meliodas whips his head around to look at Elizabeth's sister in the eyes, one of his brows quirking up. "If you hurt my little sister and I find out, you'd best sleep with one eye open at night. Okay?" The most sly, yet widest smile sits on Veronica's lips. Elizabeth widens her eyes at her older sister's words, and she looks over to Meliodas. He doesn't seem phased by her words at all. Normally when any guy Elizabeth dated talked to Veronica, they would be at least somewhat frightened.

But the blonde next to her was just... unmoved.

"Don't worry," he says, a smirk appearing on his face. "I'll be sure to treat her like the princess she is."

To this, Veronica squeals - something she almost never does. "Aww! And you call her Princess! That's so cute! Elizabeth's previous boyfriends never called her Princess-"

"Goodbye, Veronica!" Elizabeth says, grabbing Meliodas by the wrist and leading him out the door. All Elizabeth hears is the dying laughter of her older sister before she shuts the front door.

Once they're a decent distance away from Veronica's door, Meliodas gives her a cocky grin when she looks at him. "So, are all the president's daughters just as obstinate as she is?" Elizabeth's blood runs cold. Did he just say what she thinks he said? He knew she was the president's daughter?

"Wh- Y-You knew?" Elizabeth stutters. Meliodas hums.

"I thought I recognized you in Arthur's bar, but that earring of yours only reinforced my suspicion." Okay... so he knew who she was, yet he didn't say anything. Why? What in the world is this man planning?

"But... Why didn't you say anything about it earlier?" She asks as she starts moving to the car, but he grabs a hold of her wrist, stopping her from moving.

She looks into his eyes, his molten green staring back into her cerulean, something she can't define in his eyes. "For what I'm about to ask you, I'm sure you would've said no before," Meliodas vocalizes with a sly grin.

"About to ask me...?"

It's all so confusing to her. Elizabeth can't wrap her mind around it - why keep such a thing secret? And what does he want from her that he waited two days of knowing her to ask?

"Your answer doesn't have to be immediate," he continues, his hold on her wrist still present. "But I have a feeling you'll accept." Meliodas' smile widens as her eyes dart to his lips and back to his emerald eyes. He never ceases to be this alluring and mysterious man, does he?

"Do you want to help me expose the government?" Is his question, as Elizabeth swears her lungs stop working. Her heart pounds in her ears, and her blood still feels like it's running cold. Expose the government? Is he serious?

"E-Expose the government? Expose them for what? Are you being for real? I-I could get disowned if my father catches me-"

"We won't get caught, Princess. Don't worry." Meliodas gives her a genuine smile, and all her worries melt away. She finds herself smiling back, oddly enough.

"Okay," she says, her voice hushed. "I'll help you." He smiles even brighter, though his eyes still hold an indecipherable feel to them.

"Give me your keys," he suddenly demands.

Elizabeth furrows her brows together. "Excuse me?" Meliodas releases her wrist, a warm tingle of electricity present on her milky skin.

"There's a place we need to go to," the blonde explains. "So, I'll need your car keys so I can drive us there."

Odd that he would just demand for her keys when he could just tell her the directions, but maybe she can take this as an opportunity to just relax for however long until they get to wherever it is Meliodas needs them to be. Elizabeth hands him her keys without saying a word, and the blonde smiles at her in return.

Before she even knows it, they're both in the car, already leaving Veronica's driveway. Elizabeth leans her arm on the passenger's car door and rests her head on her hand.

She can't help but feel a bit angry towards Meliodas. "Boyfriend? Really?" Elizabeth voices her thoughts.

The blonde gives a short laugh. "What? Has it been that long since you've had a boyfriend?" Elizabeth turns her head to look at him, her lips slightly parting is disbelief.

"That's none of your business," the silverette quips back.

"Mm, so that's a yes," he concludes, his eyes focused on the road in front of him. The silver haired woman sighs, turning away from him and closing her eyes. It's quiet for a few more moments, but Meliodas breaks the silence. "Your sister kept trying to say something about one of your past boyfriends, am I right?" He says. She doesn't look at him. "Why did you keep cutting her off?"

Ever the curious one. "Let's just say he did something unforgivable; I was beyond the point of pissed and I just felt... really torn and heartbroken, okay?" She tells him. She doesn't even realize she's gripping her phone tighter than she was. "I don't want to talk about it." He doesn't say anything, and she's glad. Elizabeth really doesn't feel like bringing up painful memories of someone she trusted more than anything in the entire world, only for that trust to be broken in mere seconds.

He was someone that she saw as attentive and thoughtful and always cared about her the way no one else did. It's one of the things that made her fall in love with him. He promised her a bright and happy future, and it all went to shit before she knew it. Elizabeth wasn't one to get upset easily (though, it would depend), but whenever she thought about him, she wanted nothing more than to just remove him from her mind.

No one should have to go through what Elizabeth went through.

Elizabeth attempts to distract herself by thinking about her sisters and friends; Veronica was always protective of her, much like Gilthunder, ever since she can remember. If Gilthunder wasn't losing his shit over Elizabeth, Veronica would be. Margaret on the other hand - while still protective - she was always supportive of Elizabeth. The silverette loves her sisters more than words can say, and she couldn't be any more grateful to have them as her older sisters.

"Something on your mind?" Meliodas asks and the silence is gone once again. Elizabeth looks over to him, and she realizes the car isn't moving anymore, but is now parked in an alley way - of all places.

"No," Elizabeth utters. "It's nothing."

He flashes her a smile - and she can't tell if it's a cocky one at that - but she smiles anyway. "We're here, Princess," the blonde exits the car while she sits there in sheer bewilderment. How did they get here so fast? Was this place not as far as she thought it was going to be? More importantly, why are they in an alley way? Is she about to get kidnapped? Is he-

"C'mon now, Princess," Meliodas interrupts her thoughts as he opens her car door, holding out a hand to her. Her blue eyes graze his hand then his face. His expression seems genuine, but she can't help but have her guard up. Elizabeth takes his hand, her other hand having a death grip on her phone. The blonde's verdant eyes follow her every movement, almost like she's his prey. He closes her car door but doesn't let go of her hand, and if she's honest with herself, she doesn't know how to feel about it. Elizabeth likes the warm contact - more than she should - but at the same time, this is the same guy that had groped her twice after she woke up this morning.

Meliodas leads her into a building and they traverse through a multitude of hallways and corridors before they enter what seems to be a kitchen. Elizabeth takes in her new surroundings; the kitchen is filled with multiple pots and pans, more spices than she can count, knives and plates - basically just about anything you can find in any kitchen.

He guides her into a bigger space through doors you could easily push, and it's not what she expects. There are a few tables inside the room with about two or three chairs per table and a bar with just about as many bottles Arthur has in his bar. A semi-large TV hangs from the wall beside the bar, too.

Only one question crosses her mind though. Why are they in a bar?

"Boss!" Elizabeth hears a voice say - it's a woman's voice. She turns her head to the direction of the voice, and her mind goes blank. It's the most gorgeous woman the silverette has ever seen! She has semi-long dark brown hair that stops at about the middle of her back, her eyes the most rich amethyst, clothes that hug her curves rather snugly, and her hand rests on one of her hips.

Her eyebrows are knitted together - this woman is clearly upset, and the silver haired woman only processes what she said only now. She called Meliodas 'boss'... Boss?

"Where in God's name have you been?!" The brunette yells, alerting two other people behind her. Meliodas lets go of Elizabeth's hand and shrugs. "It's been a damn week, Boss!"

A week? He lied to her about getting kicked out?

Meliodas looks at the brunette with a stern expression. "I was just handling some business, alright Diane? Calm down."

Yeah, business. Not like he spent basically three days with Elizabeth. Not at all. It's not like Meliodas made sure wasn't uncomfortable in that coffee shop, only to destroy whatever trust she had in him the next day by groping her whilst being cocky.

Yet, somehow... She has this unexplainable trust (though, she can't say it's much) in him...

"Don't you think you could have dealt with it a bit faster?!" Diane yells. "We've been a total wreck since you left!" Her dark hair whips with her body as she turns around to grab some bottles on the bar's counter.

"I dunno, seems fine to me," Meliodas counters as he places both his hands behind his head. Elizabeth stares at him, his blonde hair the only thing in her field of vision.

Diane huffs, placing the bottles in a nearby trash bag. "Yeah, yeah. Who's that?" She says, pointing at Elizabeth, and she all of a sudden feels insanely anxious and self-conscious. The silverette's aqua orbs stare into Diane's purple, Diane's expression softening, then grows excited. "Oh my God!" Diane exclaims, all her anger vanishing like nothing. The dark haired woman walks up to Elizabeth in hurried steps and grabs her wrists.

"Is this the president's youngest daughter?! How did you get her to come here?" Great. So, all these people likely know who Elizabeth is, too. A sigh escapes her.

"Yeah, she's the daughter," Meliodas answers as he sits down on a stool by the bar. "And that's what I've been doing for the past week."

No - Wait... For the past week? As in before he came up to her in Arthur's bar? Had he taken time to track her down or something? What does he even plan on doing with her? Why does he need her to expose the government? Yes, she may be the president's daughter, but to be frank, she doesn't know jack shit about the government!

"Oh, wow! She's so much prettier in person!" Diane says, her eyes roaming Elizabeth's entire figure. Elizabeth's cheeks grow warm and pink.

"President's daughter?" Another voice says. Elizabeth looks past Diane, Diane turning around to look at a man with auburn hair next to another man with white hair passed out on the bar. His eyes are golden with a hint of orange, his face a bright pink and slightly flushed - likely from booze - but it also harbors a slight frown.

Diane lets go of Elizabeth's wrists. "Oh, King, c'mon! Isn't she so pretty?"

"W-Well, yes, Diane, but-"

"No, no! Shush! Don't be disrespectful in front of her!" Diane scolds. King sighs, taking a sip of the alcohol in the mug he grips. The silverette finds it a bit funny, this little interaction between King and Diane, but yet again, another question crosses her mind.

"Who are you people?" She asks.

Diane whips her head around to look at Elizabeth, then to Meliodas. "You haven't told her?"

"No," Meliodas answers truthfully. Meliodas hasn't really told her much about anything. Only something about his brother, but even then, it wasn't much at all. "Do you really think she'd actually come with me if I told her who we are?" Diane hums her acknowledgement before turning back to the silver haired woman.

"Okay, well," the brunette starts. "I'm Diane, that's Meliodas, our boss," she points to the blonde, "but you already knew that," she continues with a laugh.

She then points to the auburn haired man. "That's King, and the one next to him is Ban. He always gets drunk, so that's a normal sight to see around here."

Elizabeth can't help but smile. Diane seems like a really nice and fun woman. She can't help but feel a bit confused though. What did Meliodas mean by who we are? "And, um," Diane gives a slight moment of hesitation. "We're the Seven Deadly Sins."

Elizabeth stares at the brunette that sheepishly smiles at her with wide eyes, her blood growing cold, and she can't seem to move any of her muscles.
