12 hours later...

"Thank you, Master Lightning, for your service and courage." The Mayor said, giving the guest hero a trophie. "Next please."

Buttercup yawned boredly from where she sat by the Professor and her sisters. She didn't know how much of the bandage she could handle anymore. They were at a Ball Room, and she and her family, being Townsville's heroes, were honored the special seats in the stage next to the trophies and the Mayor's own seat.

"I don't see why we had to come here." She murmured.

"We're Townsville's Heroes, it's our duty to be presented." Blossom told her sternly.

"And finally," the Mayor announced into the microphone, "let's give it up for this city's heroes: The Powerpuff Girls!"

Everyone in the crowd politely cheered and clapped. Blossom thanked the Mayor and grabbed the microphone to adress everyone, Buttercup and Bubbles on either side of her. Even though she was in public, Buttercup kept her stern expression.

"First of all, thank you everyone for coming all the way here." Blossom said. "As the Mayor said, we're in charge of making sure Townsville is a city safe and sound for both animals and humans. Sure, there are a few challenges here and there, but by the end of the day, we save our beloved city." Upon hearing this, the crowd cheered.

"And of course, I can never do it without my sisters:" she nodded towards Bubbles, "Bubbles," the younger sibling waved at the crowd. "and Buttercup." Buttercup didn't move at all.

Blossom tried not to frown. "And Buttercup!" She said, moving the microphone closer to Buttercup. From behind Blossom, Bubbles whispered, "Buttercup, speak!"

No sound came.

Blossom laughed nervously and adressed the crowd again. "Sorry everyone, Buttercup here will not really talk tonight, so please excuse us for that. Anyways, looks like Bubbles is gonna be our toughest fighter tonight. Please take it away, Bubbles." She said, handing the youngest sister the microphone.

Bubbles nodded eagerly and backed a bit from the stage. "When you attack, the first thing you want to do is prepare your body for attack, then move your legs a bit far from your-"

"Ssssstttttoooooppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Upon hearing the yell, Blossom and Bubbles glanced towards Buttercup, who was breathing heavily. "Buttercup, what are you doing?" Even though her voice was low, Blossom sounded enraged.

"She's all wrong!" Buttercup yelled. "She's got it all wrong! How could you not know about fighting, Bubbles? Everyone knows the first rule of being a fighter is to always cheat and never give your opponent a fair chance."

Bubbles scowled. "Your fighting moves are ten times worse than mine!"

Hearing this, Buttercup tackled her against a wall. The crowd began to gasp.

It.

Was.

ON.

With a yell, Bubbles flew from the way and tackled Buttercup, breaking the microphone and table they were sitting at.

She then grabed Buttercup again and send her crashing into the tables, the sound of yelling and smashed glass covered the whole room. Everyone soon began leaving quickly. Buttercup winced as the tables and glass she was crashing into hit her on her bruises she gained from the villians, they were meant to take a while to heal, now they would surely take longer along with new ones.

Buttercup finally managed to get away from Bubbles' arms and threw a table at her, which she destroyed with her laser eyes.

Bubbles then grabed Talking Dog and threw him at Buttercup, who dodged it.

The dog tried to get up but failed. "Why is it always me?"

"Have a treat!" Buttercup yellled as she threw a pie at Bubbles, who got it smashed it her face.

Growling, Bubbles took it off and shook her head, taking frosting off. "I'll give you a treat alright!"

Food, tables, glass, broken pieces, and two lights: on blue and one green, moved all around the room.

"Girls! Enough!"

Upon hearing the stern voice, the girls looked up to see the Professor scowling at them. Bubbles whimpered. "We're in trouble, aren't we?"

Blossom now spoke. "You bet your butts you're right! In the car. NOW!"
