Inuyasha took out tetsuiga and said, grimly "Kagome step away." Kagome looked up at him shocked. But moved anyway. Miroku Looked away which made Kagome even more confused. Sango stood up at looked inuyasha straight in the eyes. She whispered "Thank you." A tear fell from his face and he raised the tesuiga. He said "Wind Scar!" The sword sliced through Sango, killing her instantly. Her spirit floated as a glowing ball into the sky. Kagome screamed and then fell to her knees crying. Kirara gave out a lonesome cry and Shippo started balling his eyes out. Sangos body blew away like sand in the wind.
Kagome stood up and glared at Inuyasha. She yelled "How could you do that Inuyasha!" He looked straight into her eyes and then he transformed into a demon. HE snarled and said "I loved her! Not you so back off, unless you want to be killed." Kagome looked shocked and Miroku Stood there staring at the spot Sango was killed. He didn't say anything but he walked away and no one noticed. Inuyasha took off into the woods and Kagome held the crying Shippo.
Sango appeared as a vision in Kagomes dream that night. She said "Kagome, I am sorry. Please do not be mad at Inuyasha. He understood wshat had to be done. Please forgive him and me." Then Sango disappeared and so did the sweet scent of Jasmine. She appeared in Shippo's dreams next and told him "Don't cry Shipppo, I am free. Please take care of Kirara for me." Then she went to Miroku and knelt before him. She said "Miroku, my love. Inuyasha has set me free. Just remember, I love you." She went to Inuyasha who was sitting in a tree. She appeared in the image of a thousand moths. She said "Thank you my dear Inuyasha. I owe you my life. I will grant you one wish." He said "I wish to be with Kagome forever." Sango smiled and waved her hand. Then the moths flew away and she was gone. Inuyashas ran to Kagome and hugged her.
The spell worked, it was all over. For now.
