Janna: Well that took forever.
WH: *Falls out of the amber* Wow, what year is it?!

WH: *Walks into the room* Hey guys, sorry I was gone for sooooooo... who is that? *points at the other him*
*Everyone looks at each other awkwardly for several seconds*

WH: *sweats nervously for a second* Ok... guess I should move the plot along. *grows a mass of tentacles from his back prompting everyone to scream*

"… *slurp* and that's how we stopped the computer virus from entering our reality." Alfonzo picked up some more noodles with his chopsticks as Tom spoke up.
"Well sounds like you actually had fun with that. Not like what happened with me and Star at the Silver Bell Ball." He rolled his eyes and slurped up his noodles as Janna spoke up.
"That big gathering of nobles Star told me about? Ok, this I gotta hear." The whole table, including Jackie turned towards Tom who sighed rolling his eyes before speaking.
Janna, Ferguson, Alfonzo, Chloe, Jackie, and Tom were all currently in a Chinese restaurant, a higher end one, eating as a group of friends but they all could also be considered on a triple date. At the moment they were all sharing stories and just talking with each other. Speaking of which, Tom began regaling them of his issue at the Silver Bell Ball.
"Well my dad wanted me to 'Club Snub' Star so that The Lucitor's would gain some prestige back after my… um… incident with Star a while back." Everyone nodded with Jackie rubbing Tom's arm a bit. "Well after a bit I just decided to ask Star myself to dance and things worked out fine… just not with my dad. Calling me a weakling and a pathetic disgrace to our family that will bring everything apart in this crazy time back on Mewni. *sigh* I just prefer to stay out of politics whenever I can it's not a game anyone can truly win at." Jackie nodded and replied to him.
"Same here man, don't really want to get involved in that shit." Tom and Jackie fist bumped with Ferguson speaking up.
"Um you're a prince Tom; that's kind of your life to stay involved with that." Tom glared at Ferguson speaking up.
"Don't rub it in." Janna spoke up at that.
"Oh come on man prince of the freaking Underworld the land of demons and death; sounds pretty awesome to me." Chloe spoke up at that.
"Eh, politics is politics even if it comes in a shiny package. Those on top don't have an easy life either." Chloe slurped up some noodles with Ferguson speaking up.
"So Jackie, is it true that you're going to France for the exchange program?" Jackie nodded at that smiling as she replied.
"Yeah, I brought it up with my Uncle Charles and my mom and they leapt right on board with it. Uncle Alan seemed a bit… reluctant but that's Uncle Alan." Tom chuckled speaking up at that.
"Actually you're not going to believe this, but I convinced my parents to let me exchange to earth as well." Alfonzo spoke up at this.
"So you just got away from your home to get with Jackie eh?" Tom blushed at that as everyone chuckled before replying.
"Wha- no! I just wanted to get away from my family for the time being to let things cool down and see earth. It's actually a pretty great place. And no I didn't intend to follow Jackie to France; that seems a might bit unnecessary considering I can just use teleportation powers to see her." Jackie shrugged before responding.
"Hey man, you do you. If you want to come with me to France I'm fine by that." Tom looked at Jackie in confusion.
"Really? I mean I'm glad but Marco said…" Jackie rolled her eyes before cutting him off.
"Look man, I get people say I'm a bit hesitant to actually commit to something serious but do you even know what happened just several minutes after me and Marco became a couple? Enough to make most people hesitate." Janna spoke up at that.
"You know she's not wrong." Everyone nodded at that as Ferguson used a random piece of food to wipe some sauce from Janna's face before eating it. "Well well well, getting frisky are we?" Ferguson shrugged before replying.
"Didn't seem like you were going to eat it soooo…" He waggled his eyebrows at her with Janna rolling her eyes and chuckling. "Say Tom, could you transport me and Janna to France sometime? We'd really like to see the Catacombs of Paris." Janna's eyes lit up as she side hugged Ferguson while speaking.
"Oh man you know how to charm a girl don't you?" Tom turned to Jackie confused.
"The whatta what now?" Alfonzo spoke up there.
"The catacombs of Paris. Paris has a large underground system of tunnels parts of which are tombs with the walls built out of human bones." Tom raised his eyebrow in confusion. "Yes we humans can do some pretty strange things." Tom replied to that.
"Actually I…" Tom paused and looked at his plate as it seemed like his chopsticks were stuck to something underneath the noodles. "Oh come on really?! I figure out how to use these things and they stick to the plate?!" Tom began pulling at the chopsticks with everyone chuckling at that, even Jackie though her hand was in her shirt holding onto a conch shell. "Work with me damn you!" Chloe stopped chuckling and got a nasty twitch speaking up.
"Something… feels… off." Alfonzo and Jackie stopped chuckling noticing the coincidence while Ferguson laughed even harder as Janna commented to Tom.
"First butter fingers now sticky fingers? What's next, wriggling fingers?" Tom grunted in frustration as he pulled on his chopstick.
"Come. On. Al-" The chopsticks suddenly seemed to be sucked into the plate. "Wha…" The laughing stopped as Chloe twitch got worse and as Tom's food was sucked into his plate. "Um, is this supposed to happen?" The other kids looked back and forth between each other for a second as the plate began to clatter on the table with Ferguson speaking up.
"That isn't supposed to happen unless if it's actual Chinese food coming out the other end." The plate clattered for a few more seconds before going still. Everyone looked at each other in confusion for a few seconds before Tom spoke again.
"Actual Chinese food?" Ferguson went to reply but Chloe answered first.
"Well yeah, this is what is known as 'Americanized' Chinese…" She immediately did a twitch large enough to make her hiccup as a black portal opened up in Tom's plate.
A strange moan that sounded a little bit like someone saying 'ooooooo' like ghost came from the portal followed by a mass of purple and gold tentacles. They looked like a squid's tentacles but had suction cups like an octopus and seemed to be secreting some sort of slime as well. And to add to the strangeness in the center of the larger parts at the end of the tentacles golden cat eyes opened up to take a look around. Silence descended on the kids for a second before everyone began screaming including Tom… and excluding Janna.
"Ooooohhhhh!" She eyed to tentacles for a second with interest before everyone, including the tentacles, began looking at her in disturbed confusion. "Um *ahem* I mean AHHHHHHHH!" Before everyone could do so much as resume screaming the tentacles reached out and pulled Jackie, Chloe, and Ferguson into the portal with Ferguson's bulk blocking it. After a second or two of cursing and grunting on the other end Ferguson was pulled through with the portal closing up.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Tom lite up fully enraged grabbing the sides of the portal holding it open and yelling into it. "GIVE ME BACK MY FRIENDS AND GIRLFRIEND!" As if in reply a gob of something black and sticky flew out and struck directly over his entire face. "*muffled screaming*" Tom let go of the portal allowing it to close as he tried to burn it off his face with no success.
Janna immediately grabbed the goo and tried pulling it off of Tom's face with the goo hissing at her for some reason. Janna let go and picked up something heavy to begin hitting the goo with… and hitting Tom's face in the process. Alfonzo just numbly moved over to the plate and picked it up looking at it with dull shock all over his face.
"Hello and how is your meal go…" The waitress stopped upon seeing the condition of the three teens and how the table was messed up when the tentacles popped out. "…" She just slowly backed away at that as Tom finally got the thing off of his face.
"Ok Janna, I got… *smack*" The heavy object hit Tom straight in the face knocking him down with Janna speaking up.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt." She saw the goo try to limp off. 'Wait, how can a goo limp without legs?' Janna thought in confusion. Pushing the thought aside she grabbed a random bowl and put it over the goo trapping it. "You're not going anywhere until you tell us what happened to our friends!" Janna's yell snapped Alfonzo out of his reverie and he began speaking.
"Wha-what just happened? What were those things? Why did they take our friends? Where did they go? Are they alright? What do we do?!" Alfonzo held the plate close to him while shivering as Tom got up rubbing his jaw.
"Ow. Man you pack a punch Janna. How does Ferguson survive you?" Janna didn't answer him though as the goo gibbered to her from under the bowl. She turned snapping a question at Tom.
"What's it saying?" Tom blinked at Janna and turned towards the bowl listening for a second before replying.
"I don't know, I don't even know what that thing is." Janna groaned and smacked her head on the ground with Alfonzo speaking up.
"I don't have Star's number. Do one of you do? We need to call her maybe she can help us out. What happened to our friends!? Are they being eaten right now?! What do we do what do we do what do we…" Tom slapped Alfonzo across the face. "Thanks Tom." Tom spoke up again.
"Look I doubt Star knows what just happened either and besides she said she was busy today with Marco on some sort of 'Turdina' business so we can't contact her." Janna turned towards Tom and Alfonzo speaking up.
"Yeah don't want to ruin their plot. Well is there anyone you do know who might be able to help us?" Tom shrugged and replied.
"Not really sure, tentacles isn't really much to go off of you know." Janna went to respond but then had a light bulb go off in her head and smiled.
"You know now that I really think about it Tom might not know who to ask for help, but I have a guy who could help us." Alfonzo commented to himself at this.
"Please no kitten and pug smugglers; I don't wanna deal with that Stan guy again."
"Janna, you have returned exceedingly promptly…" Janna moved past her dad with Tom and Alfonzo following her to the basement, her room, as she spoke up.
"Can't talk, need JanJak's help." They filed down with Edd staring after her a second before rubbing his temples and sighing.
"How can my daughter being so similar to my wife be both exhilarating and infuriating?" As he spoke to himself the trio made to down to the basement to be greeted to an… interesting site.
"Eh mon!"
"Partah oooonnn!"
"Do the big kahuna!"
JanJak wasn't in Janna's room but through a strange door in midair in the center of her room leading to some sort of beach setting in which JanJak was partying with several other skeleton like beings, most with Jamacian accents. They had a fire roasting a genuine pig, a bar with all sorts of fruity cocktail drinks, a limbo bar, a hot tub and Jacuzzi, and a table with a pile of 'manwiches' on it. JankJak was eating one of those while dancing next to a skeleton being wearing a black robe that was red on the inside, had a scythe over his back like a guitar, and who was playing a steelpan (jamaican steel drum). JankJak spoke up to that skeleton not noticing the kids enter.
"Eh Grimm, nice ta be free of those two right?" Grimm nodded and spun in place while laughing evilly in an exaggerated manner before replying.
"Only thanks ta you mon! Nice idea with the contracts that Billy signed including Mandy in the deal. Death wouldn't have ended our horrible deal but now that their souls are completely obliterated they will worry me NO MORE!" Grimm spun around in place spotting the kids in the process. "*steelpan music stops* Wah, who be the trio?" The skeletons all turned towards the kids with JanJak speaking up.
"Janna? What you be doin here? And where be Ferguson?" Janna replied quickly to that.
"That's just it, Ferguson and several of our other friends have been kidnapped by some sort of purple and gold tentacle creature and I was wondering if you could give us a hand." The crowd of skeletons all looked at each other in confusion as Grimm spoke up.
"Wait, you got a deal with kids too?!" JanJak shrugged and replied.
"Eh mon unlike your monsters they be rather nice with the girl bein rather skilled in tha dark arts already." Several of the skeletons ooh'd in interest and turned towards Janna who went to respond but was cut off by Tom.
"Look man we don't have much time, they could be serving our friends up for lunch any minute and all we have are these things!" Alfonzo pulled out the plate the portal sprang from and Janna pulled out the container she shoved the goo into. "Can you help us or not?" JanJak replied to that in a surprisingly laid back manner.
"Eh mon I can help jus let me take a peak eh." He looked at the goo and the plate as the kids regaled him with what happened. He dunked the plate in some sort of liquid and watched it change color humming in interest. He then prodded the goo thing a little taking off some of it to put into a gourd which he mixed a few chemicals in with it and sniffed the concoction humming some more. He finally turned towards Grimm. "Before I do more experimentin anythin you can offer?" Grimm scanned said goo with his scythe and read a set of demonic like symbols on his scythe before blinking in shock.
"Wah, Kalimarin!" The other skeletons gasped in shock with JanJak speaking up.
"Bu they supposed to be extinct mon. Ya sure about this?" Grimm nodded with JanJak turning towards the kids. "Well good news and bad news. Good is we can help you… right Grimm?" The kids turned towards Grimm who sighed before replying.
"I just wanted to celebrate being free mon! *sigh* Well as long as I will not be trapped into helpin the kids in the future I'll help you out cause you're my mate mon." JanJak nodded and turned back to the kids.
"Bad news is if we don't get em back by sunrise they be gone for good." Alfonzo shivered as Janna spoke up.
"Wait, what are Kalimarin?" Tom groaned as he spoke up.
"Does it even matter right now? We just need to go in there and get them out before we can't, seems pretty simple. Can you get us there?" Grimm spoke up.
"Well I can but I need more then this plate to track em. Where did this occur?"
The crowd of 5 stood back outside of the restaurant… but were also hiding behind a bush because several vehicles of government agents were parked in front of it. There were even two agents outside keeping a careful eye out for anyone with police tape in front of said restaurant. The group looked at the restaurant a little while before Alfonzo spoke up.
"So… how do we get inside?" JanJak replied.
"Ask nicely." Everyone stared at him deadpan. "No really watch." He took out a vial of some powder and threw all over himself changing his form into a hot woman; Jamacian obviously. "Now you lot wait while I clear da way." It took everyone a second to realize his voice had changed into a woman's somehow with Grimm rolling his 'eyes' as JanJak walked forward.
"Well he be showin off now." Janna commented on this.
"Wonder when I will be able to do that." They watched as JanJak spoke to the guards who seemed unmovable at first but loosened up quite quickly as JanJak flirted with them. This eventually allowed JanJak to blow some powder in their faces making them fall unconscious. "Nicely done." Tom got out of the bushes and pushed up to the store speaking.
"No time to worry about that, we have friends to save." As the others followed him Grimm spoke to Alfonzo.
"Is tha boy always that intense?" Alfonzo shook his head as he replied.
"No, this is the most intense I've ever seen him. Of course I don't know him that well." Janna spoke up as everyone went to enter.
"Now be quite we have to be stealthy about this, if there were two agents outside there are likely more inside and they might have…"
"HIIII-YAH!" A steak of orange came flying out of the store striking Grimm in the head so hard to knocked his skull off making it bounce 15 feet away. Everyone stood in shock as the orange streak, now revealed to be an asian girl in an orange hoodie, started attacking the humanized and feminized JanJak while trash talking them. "You are going down, down to bone town skeletors!" As everyone went to react to this a Chinese man stepped out of the store, wearing a blue shirt, and began scolding the girl.
"Jade, what you are doing. Get off the pretty lady!" He moved over and pulled Jade off of JanJakwith Jade speakign up.
"But Jackie he's a skeleton in disgu…" Jackie set Jade down and began speaking to her.
"Attacking a lady like that is very rude and mean. Also what are you even doing here you should be doing homework." A old man's voice with a thick Chinese accent called out from inside the store.
"JACKIE! What are you doing out there?! We must inspect for signs of magic!" Jackie called out to the man in the store.
"Uncle, I'm trying to control Jade; she followed us and attacked a random woman." This was answered by Hellboy who stepped out of the restaurant.
"Well why doesn't that surprise me?" He then noticed the group gathered and spotted Janna and Alfonzo. "You two, what are you doing here?" Alfonzo replied to that.
"Well our friends were just kidnapped by some sort of tentacle creatures and we wanted to get them back." Tom spoke up at this.
"So let us in so we can get them back!" Hellboy raised an eyebrow at Tom before responding.
"Easy there kid, we're gonna get nowhere until we find out what's even going on…" Hellboy double took at Tom and stared him straight in the eye.
"What?" As Tom spoke Jackie turned towards JanJak and Grimm apologizing.
"Sorry about my niece, she can be very imaginative and impulsive when it comes too…" Jackie's words trailed off however as Grin=mm retrived his head and JanJak's spell suddenly wore off. "… WHA!?" As Jackie gaped JanJak spoke up with his normal voice.
"Dang mon, the twist in da winds of magic must be affectin me spells." Grimm shrugged and smirked a little as he spoke.
"That's why I place my faith in tha scythe. AAAAH hahahahahahahaha." Jackie stared at the two skeletons in shock as Jade spoke up.
"Told ya told ya, skeletons have come here and we need to bring the beat down on them." Jade got into a fighting pose with Janna speaking up.
"Hey don't just go beating down my teacher and his friend, I still need them."
"JACKIE!" Everyone turned back towards the store at that. "The old lady is interfering with my research!" Hellboy groaned as he went back inside grumbling a little.
"I swear that lady is hiding something." Jackie turned back to Jade who had disappeared back into the building with him speaking up.
"Jade, you should not be here." He followed her in with the others moving along behind them.
Moving through the restaurant quickly they got into the back kitchen where an old woman was keeping an old Chinese man wearing a yellow sheep skin vest from waving some sort of dried puffer fish around the kitchen. Nearby a rather large man looking like a sumo wrestler was watching the struggle a bit unsure of what to do and a young woman was watching the conflict also unsure of what to do. As the now sizable group made it in the old man called out revealing he was the one called uncle.
"TOHRU! Get this woman out of my way so I may inspect the place." The large man, Tohru, looked around a bit unsure of what to do speaking up.
"Sensei, are you sure I should…"
"YES TOHRU, get her out of my way!" The old woman spoke up in an even thicker accent if that was possible.
"That fish is a health hazard. There is no magic, no dohickys, and no tentacles." At that Hellboy reacted turning towards the woman speaking up.
"We mentioned nothing about tentacles." He then pointed towards Alfonzo. "Although he is now claiming their friends were kidnapped by tentacles." Tom spoke up at that.
"Yeah, these big purple and gold squid tentacles with big gold eyes." JanJak spoke up right after him.
"They be called Kalimarin to be specific but yes mon." Jackie jumped at JanJak's voice replying to him.
"Don't sneak up on me like that." JanJak rubbed the back of his head bashfully as the younger lady suddenly looked panicked and the older lady spoke up.
"No, no Kalimarin here. Only Calimari for paying customers." Hellboy strode up to the lady forcibly taking her off of Uncle who thanked him before going about his work. "What are you doing demon boy, is health hazard!" Tom looked around in confusion for a second while Hellboy set the lady down before blocking her path and speaking to her.
"I'm getting real sick of your crap right now old lady. Tell us what's going on." Jackie stepped forward trying to deescalate the situation.
"Hellboy please language, Jade is here. Now madam please I'm sure there is a misunderstanding here. We are just looking to see if we can find…"
"Found it mon." Everyone turned towards Grimm who reached into a shelf of cookbooks pulling out a seemingly ordinary cookbook. "Clever disguise but not enough to fool a grimm reaper." As he chuckled Jade spoke up.
"A grimm reaper. Coooool." Janna commented on that.
"I know huh. Wonder if he could teach me some of his dark arts." They immediately looked at each other with smiles crossing their faces. "I'm Janna." Jade shook an extended hand replying.
"Jade. And you seem super cool." Janna flicked her hair back commenting.
"Being a witch in training, you know I'm cool." As Jade and Janna talked several of the people noticed the old woman suddenly looked panicked well as she rushed for Grimm.
"My secret recipes are in those books. Put it down." Grimm caught her in a red blast of magic making her levitate off the ground with Hellboy commenting.
"You seem a might bit defensive, more so then just dealing with recipes." Tom growled a little and stepped forward.
"You do know what happened to them." His eyes turned white as fire played over his body. "Tell us happened to…" He was cut off when the blob from earlier was thrown into his face by Alfonzo who commented over Tom's muffled screaming.
"Sorry about that, but I don't think you should burn the restaurant down." Jackie stepped forward speaking again.
"Look we just want to know what is going on here and what kidnapped… your friends?" Alfonzo nodded with Uncle speaking up.
"AIE-YAH! Dark magic." This got everyone's attention as Uncle, JanJak, and Grimm were reading the book which they turned around to show everyone. "Spells to summon dark creatures from the void!" The book was in fact filled with a strange rune like language, translated into Chinese, and images of the same tentacles that kidnapped Jackie, Chloe, and Ferguson. At this Alfonzo's voice rang out.
"Those are the exact same tentacles!" As Janna nodded her consensus the younger woman turned towards her still levitating grandmother in shock.
"Grandmother, what did you do? What even is that?" Hellboy's voice immediately accompanied her.
"And you best talk quick; our patience is running really thin right now."
The old woman looked around taking stock of the situation. Jackie, Tohru and her granddaughter were just looking at her in shock; Uncle, JanJak, and Grimm were glaring at her clearly annoyed; Janna, Alfonzo, and Jade were busy trying to get the blob off of Tom's face, and Hellboy was clearly on a hair trigger expecting things to start popping out of the floorboards at any minute. After a minute of silence in which Hellboy was only getting more annoyed and the blob was gotten off of Tom's face again, the old woman began speaking.
"Our family's fate is bound to theirs, and theirs is in trouble. The ki winds are weakening and we must help them sur…" Hellboy cut her off.
"I don't give a crap about their fate or yours, throwing people under the bus to save your own skin is not the way to go. Tell us how to get there and bring them back." The woman kept her mouth stubbornly shut at this though. Hellboy growled went to speak again but JanJak spoke up first.
"Actually we don need her help. Grimm here can cut us a portal to their hiding place now that we have what's needed mon." At tis the old woman struggled fiercely speaking up.
"No, they are long gone already. No need to go after them at this… *oof*" Grimm dropped the old woman to the ground as the trio of magic users figured out how to get to where the Kalimarin were. As the old woman stood up Hellboy intercepted her once again speaking up to Tohru.
"Hey big guy, could you keep her from interfering?" Tohru nodded and stepped up to the old lady.
"Sorry about this." He then picked her up like a toy. As she struggled again the granddaughter came up speaking to her grandma.
"Grandma, what are you even doing? How were you even supposed to do that? What even are they? Why?" As that trio was dealing with each other Tom was fuming in anger speaking to himself.
"An old lady sacrifices our friends to a group of tentacles!" Tom continued fuming while Jade talked to Janna.
"Your boyfriend seems cool though anger pron." Janna shook her head no as she replied.
"No his girlfriend was one of the ones kidnapped, along with my boyfriend." Jade gave an sound of awe and spoke up.
"Oh are we going to go in and kick some ass to get them back."
"You are not." Jade looked up to see Jackie intercept her. "You are going to stay in this restaurant while we are in another realm."
"Awwww, but I wanna see said realm." Janna spoke up at that.
"You know it could be a learning experience for her." Jackie responded to that quickly.
"No it's too dangerous, and for that matter how old are you? You should not be delving into these things!" Janna shrugged as she responded.
"Eh, not the first time I've gone into something like this." Alfonzo spoke up at this.
"Same here." Jackie looked back and forth between the kids before responding.
"Do your parents know what you're doing?!" Hellboy randomly inserted a comment.
"Judging by the fact that they are here I would say no." Jackie then turned towards Hellbox addressing him.
"Hellboy, are you seriously going to let them accompany us?!" Hellboy shrugged as he nodded towards Janna.
"Well she's coming whether I want her too or not unfortunately." Nodding towards Alfonzo. "Not sure about him, he might stay behind." Nodding towards Tom. "That boy… he might actually be helpful." Nodding towards Jade. "She's going to find a loophole to justify coming so… not going to bother preventing them." Jackie stared at him in shock as Tom spoke up to JanJak, Grimm, and Uncle.
"How long is this going to take, we only have until sunrise you know." JanJak turned towards Tom in annoyance as he replied.
"Of course I know mon, I was tha one who told ya. Give us a minute as its not easy to find a way to…"
"Done." Uncle's voice sounded out as he began waving his puffer fish and now a dried out lizard as he began chanting something along the lines of 'Yu-Mo-Gui-Gwai-Fai-Di-Zao'. In accompaniment Grimm raised his scythe and stared at the air as if looking for something. After a minute a green fog began coming out of midair as if flowing from between a pair of doors. Grimm laughed evilly and slashed his scythe at the area opening a rift that, unlike the scissor slices, appeared to be crudely torn and almost sickly in feel. Grimm stood triumphantly as he spoke.
"They can hide well, but once a grimm reaper has em in their sights they are good as… *oof*" Grimm was knocked down as Tom rushed through the portal.
"I'm coming for you Jackie." Jackie chan looked around in confusion as he replied.
"But I am right here." Alfonzo commented really quick.
"Um our friend's name is Jackie, Jackie Lynn Thomas." Jackie Chan nodded shaking his turning towards Jade.
"Now Jade…" He then notice Jade and Janna were gone. "… Jade!" Alfonzo pointed towards the portal with Jackie groaning in frustration as he rushed in. Everyone else began going through except for Tohru who stayed behind at Uncle's commands.
"Stay here and watch portal. If it appears to close keep it open in case if skeleton man can't reopen it. And keep her away from book and portal!" Uncle pointed towards the grandmother with Tohru bowing as he replied.
"Yes Sensei." As everyone finished piling through Tohru turned to see the two women, grandmother and granddaughter, in a shouting match of some sort. "Well, this is going to be fun." He spoke rolling his eyes.
WH: *blasted back by the tentacles* Sorry folks, no guest reviews this time around.

WH: But I do have a recommendation for more reading believe it or not, for the first time in... months? *shrugs* anyways:
In the Pale Starlight: Now it bears mentioning the story 'Royal Secrets' which I mentioned earlier, why? Well this is spiritually similar to that story but set in season three and... better. Marco returns back to Mewni and while everything at first goes similarly to the show Marco is hit far harder by the thing in the laundry room. This prompts Star to do some serious thinking and both of them come to some serious revelations about themselves. In the end though their own personal problems are almost nothing compared to the enemies gathering around them in the shadows. They will need every ounce of luck, skill, companionship, and support in order to simply stay alive let alone keep Mewni safe. This story fixes A LOT of problems people had in season three and even explains more fully why Marco and Jackie didn't work out and how Starco is just simply better; also giving some much better closure between Marco and Jackie as compared to the show. Just... read this it's good. 9/10
