"Coolio."
"Yeah, not bad." Janna replied to Jade's comment as they looked around the area.
They had stepped out of the makeshift portal behind Tom into some sort of strange acid trip dreamscape of sorts. The land itself looked like it was the bottom of the sea with large crags of dried coral and strange rock formations. Over the land there looked to be strange jellyfish, cuttlefish, eels, and even stranger like creatures floating through the air glowing in all the colors of the rainbow giving off the only light in the place. The strangest part however was that they had emerged at the edge of some sort of dome-like bubble that covered the whole landscape showing that they were actually under the sea given how sharks occasionally swam by trying to get at the glowing creatures. As they gazed around in awe the crowd slowly emerged from the portal with Jackie Chan coming over to Jade speaking up in an infuriated manner.
"Jade, what are you even doing here? It is dangerous to come… to wherever this place is! You are going back through that portal back into the restaurant." Jade replied to Jackie.
"Awwww, but I want to see more of the place under the sea." As Jackie went to reply the portal closed behind the group with Grimm speaking up.
"Well, did not expect that mon." Uncle spoke up as well.
"Dark magic is interfering here; very powerful." Hellboy smiled as he commented on that.
"Good, it means we're going in the right direction." Jackie spoke up at that turning to JanJak.
"Can't you open another portal to send the kids back, they should not be here!?" JanJak shrugged as he replied.
"With tha overwhelmin power here it might not be possible, and we are on a time limit so we can't figure out how." Alfonzo stopped gawking at the sights and spoke up.
"Um by chance, is there a way to find our friends without having to search the whole area?" As the three magic users went to reply Janna cut them off.
"How about we just go towards the center where the noise is coming from." She pointed towards where the center of the dome was where, now that the noise from the portal was gone, there seemed to a very low murmur like a lot of voices were being spoken in unison. Tom immediately spoke up rushing towards said area.
"Well come on, we only have until dawn people let's…" Tom was cut off however when he ran face first into some sort of humanoid seal twice the size of a gorilla. "Wha…" Tom was cut off again when said seal picked him up and threw him into the dome bubble with it rippling like jello as Tom slowly slid down it to the ground. "Ow." The seal then struck a bodybuilder pose and spoke up with a surprisingly high pitched voice.
"Fuck off bitches! *seal noises*" Everyone stared at it for a second before Alfonzo spoke up to Janna.
"It's like that time a powerful seal was blocking our entrance in that trippy DnD game Star poofed us into by accident." Janna nodded dumbly as Hellboy stepped up speaking to the seal.
"Look buddy, we're just trying to get to where the party is at the center so if you could step aside…" The seal then bulged its muscles and spoke like it was in pain.
"They only way to that ceremony is to get through me!" Hellboy cocked his head in confusion and went to speak again but the seal punched him sending him reeling back a few steps before falling on one of his knees. "Grrrr, you are not grrrr talking me grrrr into letting grrrrr you pass." Grimm leaned over Hellboy speaking to him.
"Um, you be ok mon?" Hellboy looked at the seal growling as he stood up and spoke.
"Big mistake buddy, cause now…" He pulled out his oversized pistol aiming it at the seal. "… I'm pissed."
Tom stepped up next to Hellboy with his fists glowing with white-red flame and his eyes glowing white. Grimm readied his scythe swirling it around a second to get it in a proper position. JanJak pulled out his horned skull on a stick glowing with greenish energy while Uncle pulled out his blowfish and lizard. Jackie Chan got into a fighting stance with Jade doing the same next to him, making Jackie groan in annoyance. Alfonzo looked around in confusion before taking a few steps back. The seal cracked its knuckles and got into a fistacuff position smiling evilly waiting for the group to make their move… only to freeze up in pain as an electrical sound came from just behind him. Everyone cocked their heads in confusion as the seal let out a high pitched groan before holding his groin in pain and falling forward onto his face revealing Janna behind him holding a Taser and blowing a little hair out of her face with a flourish prompting Jade to speak up.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt." Grimm turned towards JanJak speaking up.
"Is that normal for her?" JanJak nodded with a smirk on his skeletal face as Hellboy spoke up.
"Well, dealt with that rather quietly. Now let's get going people, we have teens to save." The group moved off as the seal spoke at them in a stupidly high pitched voice.
"Come back and fight you cowards… owwwwwww I thought I was immune to pain."
Moving quickly through the rocky coral landscape they didn't have much time to take in the sights though they were rather beautiful in a haunting manner with the dim lights and long shadows. It also seemed like the area was not very large as while they started at the edge of the dome they made it to the center within about 10 minutes. However as they got closer they realized that the 'event' that was happening was on a small plateau rising a surprising height off the ground; easily non-climbable given its steep sides as well. Before they finally got to the plateau Alfonzo spoke up getting everyone's attention.
"Um quick question, how are we supposed to get up there if we don't have climbing gear and none of us can fly?" Grimm scoffed at this replying.
"Who says I can't fly mon?" JanJak spoke up at this.
"Can ya Grimm?" Grimm went to answer but then hung his head with a muttered 'no'. "Well then, any bright ideas?" Tom spoke up at this.
"I can fly but I'm not sure if I can carry all of you even one at a time. I mean Hellboy here is pretty solidly built." Everyone nodded with Tom getting a curious look on his face. "Say is that your real name?" Hellboy nodded and replied.
"Call me that… but only if you really need me." Tom nodded with Jackie speaking up.
"Don't worry, he may be gruff but he can be nice once you get to know him." Alfonzo spoke up at that.
"Can be nice?" Jade spoke up at this.
"Wait can't we just cut open another portal thingy and get to the top that way?" Uncle replied to that.
"Do I look like magic dispenser? The dark chi here is overwhelming the closer we get to the center. I can make a portal with bone man's help but I can't keep it open until we undo dark magic." At this they finally got to the base of the cliff only now fully hearing the chanting/singing which seemed to be in an ancient language of sorts being spoken by clearly inhuman tongues.
"Cahf ah nafl mglw'nafh hh' ahor eternally ah'legeth, ng llll or'azath syha'hnahh n'ghftephai n'gha ahornah ah'mglw'nafh."
"Well like glasses said, any bright ideas?" Hellboy stared up at the cliff just plain annoyed as JanJak began chanting something.
Everyone turned to see him coating his wand in some sort of powder with it dissolving into some sort of bluish-green flame. Shaking it a second a green smoke began to fill the air faintly before coalescing into the shape of a squid. It did a few twirls in midair before moving off a short distance before disappearing into the stone sides of the plateau. Everyone looked at it in confusion for a second before Janna and Alfonzo smiled and moved up to where the stone was with Janna sticking her arm into the 'rock' with it passing in effortlessly as Alfonzo speaking up.
"An illusion spell; I'll admit that is kind of clever. How'd you accomplish that?" JanJak smiled and twirled his wand with a skull tip before replying.
"Just a somethin I wipped up from tha goo you got on tha demon boy's face mon." As everyone went to go in Hellboy spoke up.
"Now remember, we have no idea what is up there or what is going on up there so prepare yourself for the worst in all aspects." Everyone nodded with Hellboy moving to the front. "I'll take point because of this with Chan and demon boy with me. You magic users get right behind us with glasses and Jade right behind them. Janna, you go scout ahead; given how you dealt with that seal I get the feeling you can do this with little effort." Janna smirked as she backed up into the illusion replying.
"Finally, someone appreciates my talent right off the bat." Janna disappeared with the group following behind her as Hellboy instructed, with a few complaints from Jade that were ignored.
The caverns were quite dry with the rocky being rather spiky and sharp and even chalky in places. They formed a series of tunnels that twisted around each other almost like a maze as they went upwards; if it wasn't for JanJak's mist squid they could have gone around in circles for hours before reaching the surface. Tom went to produce some flame so they could see clearly but Hellboy told him to not give away their position so Tom snuffed it out. At several points they passed by strange pictographs of sorts like the cave paintings at Lascaux caverns. Uncle and JanJak took note of them, even at one point with them making aversions against evil, but no one paid much attention to them at that point as Janna had shown up gesturing for them. After a minute of following Janna they made it to the surface in a small alcove overlooking where… whatever was happening was going on with Jade speaking up in shock.
"What the what now?!" Hellboy spoke up as well.
"What the Hell?!" Grimm spoke up as well.
"I… have no idea what's going on." Alfonzo spoke up as well.
"I don't even want to know what's going on."
The plateau itself was rather sizable given the size of the dome, maybe 1 or two football fields in area, and was mostly free of obstructions except for a ring of spiked stones around the outside edge. Near the center were several stone platform like rocks one of which bore a strange fire on it of greenish flames like someone had thrown copper into it. The area around those platforms had a large number of strange squid like entities the same purplish-gold color of the thing that dragged Jackie, Ferguson, and Chloe down into the plate. The squid like entities were now all clearly singing at this point waving their tentacles in the air revealing golden cat-eyes at the end of their tentacles. As for the trio they were here as well with Jackie and Chloe dressed up in Japanese school uniforms and dancing in circles around Ferguson who danced at the center dressed up like Elvis of all people. They also could all tell even at the distance they were from them that the trio looked to be in some sort of hypnotized state due to their blank stares with Janna commenting.
"I do have a feeling I know where this is going… and it is not good." JanJak replied to that.
"Considerin your collection of 'magazines of tha east' I would have to agree with you." Jackie covered Jade's eyes at that and Tom growled at those words stepping forward with Uncle pulling him back by his ear.
"Magic must defeat magic; don't go rushing in like ox." Hellboy nodded and backed Uncle up.
"He's right demon kid, there are an awful lot of those things and we have no idea on how to deal with them or what they are capable of. We need to spread out and hit them from all sides while breaking that… ritual of theirs or whatever it is." Everyone nodded with Uncle speaking up.
"One more thing, kids are under dark spell and must be freed of that before we can rescue them." Grimm chuckled at that before replying.
"That be easy enough for one like meself." Alfonzo nodded and began drawing in the dirt getting everyone's attention.
"Ok guys, I might not be the best at fighting…" Janna suppressed a chuckle with Alfonzo rolling his eyes. "… ok pretty damn bad but I think I have an idea on how to deal with these things."
The performance on the rock had been going on for a while and Jackie was actually getting pretty damn frustrated. She didn't do anger at all, save for that one time at Brittany's party, but she had reached that point here after being possessed by some sort of chibi squid spirit, changed into these clothes, and forced to dance for these guys' sick entertainment. She was aware of what was going on around her but couldn't do a damn thing to control her body; she couldn't even blink at her own command. And from what she could tell Ferguson and Chloe were in the same boat. 'Why are they doing this? What is the point of kidnapping us and making us dance like this in this… place? Why anything here?' Jackie thought in frustration. This 'performance' had been going on for quite some time with the attitude of the squid like entities changing from a solemn ceremony like church to almost a wild party with lots of 'singing' and their equivalent of dancing. As for the creatures themselves Jackie wasn't disgusted by them per say, in fact they looked kind of cool in an alien manner, but their slimy purple and gold skin, their numerous tentacles bearing eyes on the ends of them, and their vaguely humanoid blobs of bodies were a might bit creepy and off-putting. 'If this doesn't stop soon… huh?' Mid thought the trio stopped dancing with the squid creatures giving out a strange 'blalalalalol' before going silent.
Jackie couldn't see clearly given how she could not turn her head but she did know that one of the squid like creatures stepped onto the rock the trio were dancing on and began speaking to the crowd in it's strange language. 'Sounds like that language Janna and Ferguson tried learning once just to mess with the teachers. What was it… R'Lyehian?' Jackie's thoughts were interrupted when a heavy grating sound occurred behind her with the squid gesturing to something behind her sending a chorus of 'oooh's' out from the crowd. After a few more words the squid gestured with Jackie turning and walking towards the object which appeared to be a throne of some sort made of purplish stone with gold veins worked into it forming images of Krakens. Right next to it was another of those squid things but it was wearing some sort of white cloak and holding a type of staff that glowed when Jackie was forced to move. 'So that's how they're doing it.' Jackie thought in annoyance as she and Chloe kneeled down on either side of the throne and Ferguson was brought to the foot of the throne. The squid began speaking again and this time Jackie actually caught a word that was spoken that she recognized because at one point Janna wouldn't stop talking about it… Cthulhu. 'Oh shit, if that guy of all things is real…' Jackie had learned to accept the supernatural given how her boyfriend was a literal demon prince from another world among other things; but this was not good given what little she knew of it.
The creature controlling them then tapped Ferguson lightly on the shoulders and head as if knighting him with the staff leaving glowing marks. Tentacles then came out from several individuals and Ferguson's cloths were changed in a whirlwind too quick for Jackie to follow to show Ferguson in some sort of bronze scale mail armor with a purple cloak flowing behind him. The creatures then began chanting slowly "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." which, she didn't know how she remembered this, Ferguson and Janna had said meant "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming." Ferguson was then doused in some sort of strange liquid with Jackie now getting scared. 'What do they intend to do to him?' He then was sent onto the throne and sat down with a strange glow coming from the throne encapsulating him and, while he couldn't move, Jackie could still tell something wrong was happening to him… *BANG* a sound like thunder erupted with part of the throne shattering making the glow over Ferguson lessen.
"Think again dumbass. Cause now… I'm pissed." As the squids turned towards the voice what looked to Jackie like the Grim Reaper stepped out of the shadow behind the throne and cut at the staff controlling the trio.
The staff itself was not damaged but Jackie felt as much as heard a crack of thunder that sent her sprawling. Lifting her hand up to her head to deal with the throbbing now… 'Wait, I can move again!' Jackie got up as best she could looking around and seeing chaos had erupted everywhere with small fireworks and spells going off in multiple areas with a strange fog flowing into the arena obscuring the squid like entities. The Grim Reaper who was laughing manically was currently in combat with the cloaked squid who had already lost several tentacles and was defending itself desperately with its staff. Ferguson had slouched over in the throne falling off of it as Chloe was trying to help him up speaking to him.
"Come on, get up." Jackie began walking over ignoring the throbbing as best she could and kneeled down next to Ferguson speaking up.
"Dude, you ok? Say something." Ferguson's eyes rolled around before he mumbled incoherently and closed his eyes. "We need to get him out of here." Chloe went to speak at Jackie but went wide eyed as she glanced over Jackie's shoulder. "One of those squid things is behind me is it?" *HIIIIII YAH!*Jackie turned around to see said squid creature had just been knocked over by a flying kick from what appeared to be a girl a few years younger than herself in an orange hoodie. Said squid lashed out with its tentacles at the girl but she ducked and dodged them with surprising skill poking it in the eyes wherever she could as she began trash talking it.
"Keep your slimly bits to yourself squid boy! Cause these girls ain't yours!" More squids began moving in the direction of the throne but blasts of magic, bolts of flame, and bullets began picking them off prompting Jackie to speak up.
"Um little dude, can we move things along. Ferguson needs help man." The maniacal laughter from the Grim Reaper stopped as he now began speaking with a Jamaican accent of all things.
"To me forces of the nether realm, destroy the mortals!" Jackie looked to see the squid creature be sucked into some sort of portal with the Grimm Reaper laughing. "Oh yeah, who's bad? Grimm's bad!" He glanced over to see Jackie and Chloe trying to move Ferguson. "Oh right we be here to save the boy, just a second." He walked over and tapped Ferguson's head with his scythe eliciting a small spark waking Ferguson up making him shoot upright and start talking.
"I didn't play with the… wha?" He looked around for a second with Jackie getting Ferguson's attention.
"Dude, it's warzone in here. We need to get moving." Ferguson, still a bit dazed, nodded dumbly and began following the group as they moved into the mist.
Jackie could barely see anything as the shapes of the squids moved through the area in shocked confusion trying to make sense of the situation. Blasts of magic continued to ring out alongside gun shots that took out squid things too close to their position. As they got closer to the edge of the mist the squids began shouting out and moving in their direction with Grimm and the girl getting into fighting positions. However the squid's charge was stopped when a solid wave of demon fire flames came lashing out from the side sweeping more than dozen of the squid creatures to the side and burning them alive. As they continued to move Jackie Tom come flying out of the mist shooting flames at the squids his eyes white with anger. 'Oh man, those squids are fucked.' Jackie thought to herself in amusement and awe as Tom continued blasting them. The group rounded behind a cluster of rocks at the edge of the battlefield showing Jackie that JanJak and Janna were there sniping at the squids with magic. Janna immediately noticed them and rushed over hugging Ferguson so hard he stumbled.
"Dude, you're ok!" Ferguson, a bit dazed, hugged back with the younger girl commenting.
"Wait, the fatass is the boyfriend who you said was so awesome?" At this a Chinese man, a bit singed by demon fire, came out of the fight speaking to the girl.
"Jade language! And don't judge a boy just because he is hefty, that's like judging someone because they are short." Despite the quasi-insult Jade had thrown at him Jackie couldn't' help but chuckle a little at their banter with Jade replying.
"Well it's not like you are born fat unlike being short." Before their banter could continue a far older Chinese man came up and smacked the younger man in the back of the head.
"Jackie! You let guard down. Don't let Kalimarin get close." He pointed showing more of those things that had just been blasted down by the old man. "One more thing, dark chi has been dealt with enough to attempt a portal; now keep them distracted while I get us home." Uncle then began chanting Yu-Mo-Gui-Gwai-Fai-Di-Zao waving his pufferfish with Grimm watching the area her was waving it in carefully. As he did that Jackie's attention was distracted by more gunshots as Hellboy from the coalition that 'kidnapped' Jackie and her group of friends came running out of the fog yelling out to everyone.
"We need to move now, they're finally realizing exactly what is going on." Tom flew back in from the fog as well looking exhausted, even to the point where some of his hair was limp, as he spoke up.
"Whew, I need a minute man. That was *gasp* a lot of fire for such a short period of time." Jackie smiled and moved in giving him her shoulder to lean on as Jackie, JanJak, and Hellboy turned outwards to keep any more of those squids from getting too close. "I think I need to practice this honestly." Jackie chuckled and sat him down next to their friends as she spoke up.
"Don't worry dude, I think you did awesome." Jade spoke up at that.
"She's right dude, you just took out like a dozen in a single hit that one time!" At this Ferguson and Janna nodded agreeing with her as Chloe spoke up.
"Wait, where's Alfonzo?"
"I'm right here." The group of kids jumped in shock as Alfonzo was standing right next to their group. "People don't usually notice me for some reason." Chloe smiled and pulled him in close speaking up as he returned the embrace.
"I may miss you at times when you're right behind me but I will always notice when you are gone." Jade gagged at that speaking up.
"Gag, too sweet with all the lovey dovey couples. Where are those squid things to continue the action?" As if to answer her blasts of magic and gunshots rang out from the trio protecting them with Hellboy yelling out.
"How much time left old man; I got the feeling we're not gonna last long." His oversized pistol clicked on empty with him reaching for a replacement magazine, only to find none. "And I'm out of ammo to top it off. Got any bright ideas witch?" Janna shrugged at that replying.
"I'm out at the moment; I'm only an apprentice at magic at this point and I used my tricks for the initial distraction." Grimm suddenly laughed manically and sliced with his scythe cutting open a portal with Uncle calling out.
"They're magic is weaker now but I have no idea how long this will stay open so get moving." He pointed towards the portal with everyone making a run for it.
To make a long story short the kids made it through with the adults doing a fighting retreat through the portal next returning back into the restaurant they started out in closing the portal behind them. The area was still deserted with Tohru watching the granddaughter and grandmother engage in a shouting match. Jackie, Chloe, Ferguson, Janna, Alfonzo, and Tom all looked at each other and began chuckling which turned into full on laughter that got some concerned stares from Jackie Chan and Jade. JanJak and Hellboy merely chuckled at the group while Uncle moved over to the fighting family and Tohru with Hellboy following after him. Grimm just shrugged and commented 'must be a full moon' as the group stopped laughing with Ferguson commenting.
"Well, and here I thought we needed Star for things like this to happen." Janna replied to that.
"You give me way too little credit Bartok. Or perhaps I should call you Elvis from here on out." Ferguson struck a pose and spoke up.
"Thank ya, thank ya very much." The group laughed at him with Jackie Chan now joining the laughter commenting.
"That was actually a good Elvis impression." Jade spoke up at that.
"Who's Elvis?" Before Jackie could answer Hellboy walked on over speaking up.
"Alright just to give you a run down this store is being shut down and 'purified' according to the old man and the old lady is being taken in for questioning. Hopefully no more Kalimarin or whatever they are called will be coming through into this world. You kids go home; normally we would brain wipe you but that's not needed and I just want some dinner after all this." JanJak spoke up at that.
"Say mon if you have some time tha party still be goin on back home; ya lot wanna join me an Grimm?" Everyone looked at each other for a second and smiled.
The whole group, excluding Uncle who was working on the restaurant, was partying with the Jamacian Skeletons in JanJak's mini-dimension. Grimm was skipping and laughing with glee at being free and what's more having actual mortal friends who were not out to control him. Jackie Chan was a bit nervous given all the skeletons but was mostly there to oversee Jade who was having the time of her life with Janna, Ferguson, Alfonzo, and Chloe. Hellboy and Tohru were to the side eating manwiches and just watching the party as Hellboy updated Tohru on what had happened with the Kalimarin. JanJak had stepped away from the party to carve up the roast pig which had finally finished cooking, however he had a sense of tension about him. As they had gone through the tunnels he had figured out that the ritual they were performing was to make Ferguson an avatar to their 'God' to bring about great magical power. This didn't seem unusual except for the fact that this group had been hiding so well people thought they were extinct; so why were they forced out now in such a blatant action? 'This confirms it, the winds of magic be changin in some not so pleasant ways.' JanJak mused to himself in worry as he carved up the pig. To another side Jackie and Tom were talking with each other with Jackie leaned up against him.
"I'm not normally one for violence but that was kind of hot how you just smacked down those squid things like that… even if it was a bit terrifying." Tom shrugged as he replied.
"Eh I'm a demon what were you expecting?" Jackie reached up fluffing his hair making some more of it go limp taking Tom off guard. "Wait wha…" He tried pushing his hair back up prompting Jackie to chuckle. "Great now I'm going to look ridiculous with this limp hair." Jackie shrugged and kissed his cheek.
"Eh, makes you look cute. Also…" Tom looked at Jackie as she seemed to get serious. "… would you mind teaching me how to fight." Tom looked at Jackie weirdly as she clarified. "Look man I am no warrior, I'm a lover not a fighter but… I think I'm gonna get involved in these things being friends with Star and you being my boyfriend so I need to step up you know." Tom replied to that.
"Are you sure about this? The reason why I'm asking is because technically in demonic culture if a man teaches a girl that his not his daughter how to fight in his style it means he is courting her in a pretty serious manner." Jackie nodded and responded.
"Yeah Star actually told me that." Tom blinked in shock with Jackie giggling. "Look man I'd prefer to stay out of this so called 'game' back in your home and take things with you at its own pace but… I just need to help my friends you know. And what's more my friends and my big strong man aren't gonna be there to protect me all the time. I need to protect myself." She jabbed him in the ribs playfully with Tom chuckling as he replied.
"Fine sure. But come on, there isn't anything THAT big going on in Mewni; what's the worst that could happen?"

The woman rode on the back of her Nightmare, her face covered in a mask of charcoal and grease, followed by more drakes with women riding a top them. Looking down at the fortified town that was coming up she smiled as she watched the ground troops get into positions remembering Mavis's words. 'Mewni has no place for Monsters or Mudbloods. Any Mewman who protects them has no room for mercy in our eyes.' Her smile growing more carnivorous she signaled her group to do a wide sweep coming around the town with the defenders only now taking note of enemies being so close to them. Bells ringing and voices shouting filled the streets of the town of Verksgald as the town guard rushed to positions and the militia gathered their weaponry to defend themselves. On the ground the Forest Barbarians pushed forward a pair of Gronkles who began firing heavy shot at the gates causing the first gate to coming crashing down in only a few hits. As the guard gathered there the woman signaled her charges to do their assigned goals with her leading the assault to support the troops attacking the gate.
Kicking her Nightmare into action she dived from the sky while readying her clutch of clay and gourd vials she had on her. Defenders immediately noticed her and those following her and began shooting arrows and crossbow bolts at them. The drakes were not affected at the extreme range due to their tough hides and scales but the riders ducked down to avoid injury. The ballista on the walls attempted to shoot at them with the drakes dodging as best they could, although one was brought down smashing into a section of the battlements destroying both the battlements and the rider and drake. She swooped in low throwing the vials on the upper battlement with them shattering unloading a strange sticky substance onto the upper gate. The riders did so with the defenders looking confused until a Zippleback came by filling the upper battlements with a green mist. The defenders immediately tried vacating those battlements but were too slow as one of the Gronkles shot a ball of flame onto the walls igniting the gas and goo in a savage explosion.
The leader did a shrill laughter like a witch might with the other riders following suite only to be cut off as a trio of eagle riders followed by a trio of Gryphons came shrieking into their positions. The band of drakes broke up and attempted to circle back around to try and use their flaming breathes to burn their feathers. The leader however was hounded by a particularly stubborn Gryphon that was giving her no ground forcing her into the town they were assaulting. Diving into the streets trying desperately to lose the Gryphon her Nightmare ignited itself and began setting fire to the buildings to create a smoke screen, but it was too little too late. She found also that she had been pursued all the way to the town market square which was in flames by another group of riders. As she passed over it trying to evade the Gryphon a random javelin struck her Nightmare in a wing joint and brought them both down to the ground hard.
She blacked out for a second and came too next to the dead Nightmare who had taken the brunt of the fall breaking its neck. She attempted to get up but found she was surrounded by angry townsfolk with several guards on the inner ring glaring murder at her as the town began burning behind them. Drawing her twin short swords she got into a defensive position knowing she wasn't going to last long… (1:45) *ROAR*everyone looked around in confusion before running away from something to her left. One of the guards didn't get the chance to run as he was still looking up in shock as a rather large drake grabbed him in its mouth and flung him to the side like a rag doll. It was then she realized that it wasn't a drake; it was Ancalagon himself with Mavis atop his back. He stepped forward unfurling his four wings and the feathers atop his head in a frightening display and roared as the remnants of the crowd ran for their lives. The woman smiled and looked over the now burning town thinking to herself, 'The half-constructed Mewni of the Monster whore and lizard puppet master will burn at the hands of the true Mewmans, leaving only what is meant to be there.' (end music)
Amongst the crowd an unassuming looking man who looked like he could just fade away into a crowd ducked into a dark corner and pulled out a mirror. Pulling a dark hood over his head to conceal his face he quietly spoke "Call Toffee" with the mirror ringing a second before Toffee answered.
"Oliver? So it has come to pass hasn't it?" Oliver Twist nodded and gave his report.
"It seems as if the entity in question leading the raiders is a member of the Butterfly family given her cheek marks. I could not place anything more than that as she was too far away to tell anything more than gender. But what is more… I can't believe this myself but she seemed to have been leading this attack on the back of a dragon. Not a drake, a dragon." Toffee blinked in shocked confusion before replying.
"I trust you but… something extinct for more than 300 years?" Oliver nodded with Toffee sighing. "This is highly disturbing news. Get out of there and get back here as soon as possible." A small explosion went off nearby with Toffee sighing. "Reinforcements are on their way but I think the damage is already done." Oliver nodded and hung up before cutting a portal back to castle Butterfly and fleeing through it.
WH: *Walking away from an intense battle scene* Ok, are we done here? *Everyone else nodding* Ok, if that's the case I have more recommendations for people; this time of artists. 'andychipss' is a person in Instagram who has actually done not one but TWO commissions for my story. If you find her account you can find what she did pretty clearly as MonStar is pretty recognizable, one of which is a mini cartoon of Star and Marco first meeting. Another one 'gogola_star_' actually did a commission as well, the new avatar picture you see in place of the chibi-pikachu. That picture is me in 'Star the Monster princess', they got the description down pretty good and what's more, much to my shock, it does actually look like me. It's kind of eerie to be really honest. Please just go see their work, they are pretty good artists; in fact gogola_star_ work in Star vs is kind of hard to distinguish from the actual canon work. And thank you to RJWritingInk for commissioning these works, seriously you are too good of a friend. I know I talk about that one a lot but hey, why wouldn't I?
But folks, this made me realize something. My work has very little fan art of it even though many have claimed it is a virtual gold mine of artistry potential. Now I am not to feel like my work is owed fan art, that's just bitchy and what more many don't like the MoonxToffee ship so its understandable, but I think you lot deserve some fan art, more then the pieces provided so far. So that is why I am calling upon you my fans to give you what you deserve, and what I would like to see, go out now and make requests for artists to read this story and see if they come across inspiration and if you wish bestow upon me the honor of having artists do commissions for me. I do not deserve said honor but I believe it is what you lot are owed. Also, DO NOT HARASS THE ARTISTS TO DO IT FOR FREE! Let them decide whether they wish to do so or not if they are not being paid. Trust me, nothing is more infuriating then someone harassing you to do something... I've experienced it before.
