Gold coins clattered onto a front counter as Bonibell emptied a purse with a heavy and tired look to her face. Glancing over at River she noticed he didn't seem too concerned about what he just did but did seem to be looking for something. Rolling her eyes she glanced over at Oskar, cool as a cucumber, waiting patiently for things to proceed. She looked at Tempest and saw… 'Where is Tempest?' she thought to herself as she glanced around to see he wasn't in the room. She was cut short however when the ranger spoke up.

"Thank you mam, and please keep your husband in check. This is a children's summer camp not a survivalist challenge." Bonibell nodded and turned back to her husband… only to notice he had left while her back was turned. She sighed while chuckling to herself at her husband's antics; it could cost her but she wouldn't have it any other way. Oskar joined her as she left the camp's main office speaking to her.

"I take it this happens a lot given from what Tempest said and how you are acting man?" Bonibell nodded and gave a small smile as she replied.

"That's just my husband being my husband. He means well but can go overboard at times." After a brief silence she continued. "I take it my son was not too happy about this." Oskar nodded and replied.

"He said pretty much the same thing you did but was less happy about it." Bonibell nodded and spoke.

"This has been happening a bit the last few years. Tempest has been growing more independent and hasn't taken too well to my husband's antics when he tries to join him. I've tried talking to my husband about this but I think he got the wrong idea about it and is trying to impress Tempest instead of giving him some space. I think that may have to do with…" A beeping sound interrupted her prompting her to curse in her native language silently and open a portal to Pixtopia. "Sorry I've got to go, could you help bring those two together and prevent more disasters?" Oskar barely even had time to nod before she moved through the portal. "Thank you dear." She closed the portal behind her leaving Oskar with Floyd coming up behind him.

"Welp, got my hands full I guess." He heard the sounds of bad flute music on the wind prompting him to move. "Come on Floyd, let's see what we can do."

After a short flight they found Tempest playing his flute not caring whether or not it was good. The two of them had finally grasped that their music did need some improvement but occasionally they just played to 'get it out of their systems'. As Oskar got off he quickly chuckled at the fleeing forest animals and put a shoulder on Tempest's shoulder going to pull him in for a kiss but Tempest stopped him.

"No need for that just frustrated this time." Oskar nodded.

"So I heard from your mom. Is it really so bad?" Tempest nodded and sighed as he replied.

"Look man I don't hate him I'm just sick of this. He's just really overbearing just to simply be around by just being... well, him. Anytime I try to talk with him about it he just brushes it off and occasionally it just makes things worse. I don't know what to do."

"Maybe I should at least see you talk to him so I can get a grasp of what's going on in his mind you know." Tempest turned to him to rebuke but then processed the words as Oskar seemed to admit that just talking would do no good this time around.

"Ok man, I hope you can see something I can't. Now we just need to find him, shouldn't be too difficult." He rolled his eyes and leapt off into the air with Oskar leaping on Floyd's back right behind him.

In fact it wasn't too difficult to find him not because River was making a scene but because he was in an easy to spot location from the air. River was in fact in an eagle's nest and was silently staring at an unblinking eagle. Tempest and Oskar dropped into the nest with Floyd taking off to land elsewhere as the tree might not have been strong enough to support him. They stared at River for a few seconds before Oskar realized something.

"Hmm, that a nice bald eagle… oh shit man, we are breaking a ton of laws just by being up here. We need to get back to the ground." Tempest nodded and went to speak but River interrupted him.

"Not yet sonny boy, not until it gives in. Once I have subdued him he will fly us on our hike today." The eagle calmly just stared at River not blinking. "Do you really think you can win old man?" Tempest and Oskar looked at each other in concern as River began talking to himself. "Of course I can I haven't lost my edge. Your boy has been avoiding you the whole day whenever possible. Of course not, nothing has changed between us. Keep lying to yourself old man, he doesn't think you're 'cool' anymore. Of course not this is just a phase, all teenagers go through it! Time to give it up and head for the glue factory old man…"

"ENOUGH!" River, Oskar, and the eagle all looked at Tempest in shock as he faces down River. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! I just want some space and you interpret it as you being 'long in the tooth'?! That's pathetic!" Both Oskar and the eagle gasped in alarm at this while River got a grim look on his face.

"Pathetic? I'll show you pathetic my boy!" Oskar could only watch in shock as River leapt at Tempest with the two going over the side of the nest to the ground some 75 feet below. Oskar and the eagle watched from above with the raised voices actually being heard. "You think you can outmatch me?!"

"I don't need to!" A blast of magic sent River back as Tempest took to the air. "I don't need you constantly grabbing onto me like this in the slightest." Floyd was now circling the tree in concern with Oskar leaping onto Floyd's back.

"Sorry about that man, enjoy your day." As they flew off following the combating father-son duo the eagle watched them go blankly as his mate swooped into the nest.

"*What was that all about?*"

"*I experienced it and even I don't know.*"

River's speed and strength allowed him to keep up with a flying Tempest and constantly attempted to grapple him. Tempest's agility in the air and ability to shoot magic missiles however kept River from getting a good grapple hold on him making them pretty equally matched. As Oskar watched River knocked over a few saplings and hurled them like javelins at Tempest who dodged them with the grace of a ballet dancer.

"So you're too good for your old man huh? Who was the one who taught you everything you know?" Tempest blasted a rock in front of River blinding him so he could gain some altitude.

"Mom, Rico, Alexis, Star, the list goes one with you being only one member. Don't think you constitute the whole list!" A bit of the rock Tempest had blown up was thrown in his face blinding him as River followed close behind grappling him.

"Who taught you how to fight? How to survive? How to lead? How to hunt? How to even walk?" Tempest got them in a roll as they fell down a hill with River taking all of the hits on the way down.

"And you *bonk* expect me *bonk* to worship *bonk* you *bonk* because *bonk* of that?!" As they hit the bottom of the hill Tempest twisted his body breaking the grapple and flinging River into the air. "Just accept everything you do without a bat of the eye?" River somehow controlled his fall and zoomed back in on Tempest like a meteor.

"I only want to spend time with my little boy." As he moved in to impact Tempest's power crackled as an enraged look came into his eyes.

"I'm. Not. Your. Little. BOY!" He let the power out in one solid burst as River was about to make contact blinding both Oskar and Floyd for a few seconds. When the light went away they saw Tempest standing in a crater surprisingly only lightly hurt while River had slammed through three trees and hit a rock cliff embedding himself a full foot into it. "Is this why you can't control yourself?! Because I'm your 'little boy'?! The last time we got along was during the damn cookie beast invasion and that's because you kept your distance!" River pulled himself out of the cliff clearly disoriented and dizzy. "Well guess what dad, I don't need you cause I have my own life now!"

"I KNOW THAT!" Tempest's anger melted away into shock at those words as River suddenly went silent. "I just *sniff* wanted to be a part of it." He fell to his knees with tears in his eyes as Tempest just watched him in shocked silence as Floyd landed. "You may not be my little boy *sniff* but you are my son." Oskar had seen enough and he knew exactly what he needed to do.

"Tempest, I get why you're mad man… but I see your father's point." Tempest turned to him in shock as he replied.

"Wait so you are ok with all the…"

"No. But at least he's trying!" Tempest recoiled from Oskar as he never shouted. Even River and Floyd looked up in alarm at the angry demeanor Oskar was giving off. "Do you know how many kids would kill for a dad like that? Well I would! My dad, the 'perfect man' in the eyes of my mom, left the minute he heard she was pregnant with me! My mom openly told me she wished she had aborted me just to keep him around! I never even knew my dad and my mom doesn't give a rat's ass about me. I get him being over bearing but telling your own dad that he's pathetic?! You're pathetic Tempest!" Tempest seemed to deflate in front of his eyes with Oskar realizing he let his emotions get the better of him and went back to his normal voice. "Look man, maybe you two needed this to get it out of your systems but don't hold it over your dad like this. He's your dad you know." He pulled Tempest into a hug calming both of them down. "Now, I think perhaps you can talk to your dad now that he is willing to listen." Tempest nodded and fluttered over to his dad who was looking at Oskar with a strange sense of understanding in his eyes.

"Look… dad…" River held his hand up cutting Tempest off.

"I get it my boy. Honestly I can't believe we had to do this just to knock some sense into me." He got up a bit wobbly and brushed himself off. "The reason why I do this is… because I kind of went through what your boyfriend did." Tempest, Oskar, and Floyd looked at him in shock. "Despite my appearance and actions I was actually closer to the boy Ferguson than Marco when I was young. A bit overweight and constantly nervous I just wanted to live my life how I wanted to. My dad barely paid any attention to me because of this aside from a few insults on how I was disgracing the Johansen's with my womanly behavior. When your mother and I first got together that was the final straw in his eyes so he sent me to a survivalists camp to 'beat the woman' out of me. I somehow managed to get away and lived with your mother. All while this was going on my own mother just accepted these decisions and barely lifted a finger to do anything for me. I think she was secretly happy my father did all that he did." River looked at his son with sad eyes. "I just do what I do because I want to be close with you and be a better father then mine ever was." Tempest now had tears in his eyes as River moved to hug him. "I get I'm excessively boisterous and can't control myself at times but I just want to enjoy my time with you. You get that right?" Tempest returned the hug as he answered.

"I get it dad, I get it." They embraced with Oskar smiling at the love being shown between those two…

"Ahem." All four of them turned to see much of the camp, including Marco and his group, just staring at them with a few rangers looking a might bit annoyed. "You are going to have to come with us sir." They motioned to the trail of destruction through the forest the two made. Tempest and River looked at each other and smiled before River bellowed out.

"We will, you just have to catch us first." And the two leapt into the woods with the ranger groaning and getting on his radio.

"Calling all units, we have a father-son pair bounding through the woods on a path of destruction. Caution is advised." Oskar chuckled as he watched them take off after the duo knowing they would never catch them. As he walked towards the group, which was talking amongst itself intensely as of now, Marco spoke to him.

"What was that about?" Oskar smiled as he replied.

"Family bonding moment." Marco blinked in confusion.

"Ok. Well kids let's get on with our hike."

"… and that's how we saved the Bounce Lounge." Star smiled as the kids applauded her story with Nina speaking up in awe.

"So many worlds, so many dimensions. My sci-fi loving brain is exploding." Lola spoke up after her.

"Yeah yeah, pick up the pieces because it's my turn to ask a question. What's it like being a real princess?" Star smiled at Lola's words but knew she was about to destroy a few fantasies with her answers. The kids had been asking her a non-stop stream of questions about herself the entire hike which she answered with gusto. Marco had always been in the background watching how things turned out but never really stepping in and instead paid attention to other things.

"Well being a princess is actually a job." The kids all looked at her oddly at this especially Lola. "You see as princess I am supposed to learn how to govern my people and manage my nation as well as master magic, like the example I showed you earlier." Raj commented at this.

"How did she make a spider cute?" To which Patsy replied.

"A top hat makes everything look better." Star shrugged at that.

"Eh, I just made him that way." Lola pushed her question.

"So do you get meet handsome knights and princes?" Lana made a gagging sound at that as she replied.

"Bleh, who needs them. They just look so spotless and prissy without any purpose but to look good." Gretchen added onto that.

"Yeah, I could do a knight's job any day." She then punched a random tree shifting its angle by a full 10 degrees. Star chuckled as she answered.

"Well the knights actually serve the queen directly as protectors of the kingdom and are made of both men and women. They're like your 'navy seals' and what not." The kids oooh'd in awe. "The princes however I could do without. All they try to do is get me to date them simply because they want to be king." Star had actually never been approached by them before the last Silver Bell Ball but she figured that was her reality as of now. 'Thank the Gods I'm here on earth.' She thought to herself. "Most of the guys don't even think I'm pretty." When she realized she had inserted that last bit unintentionally the kids all gasped in shock with Clam speaking up.

"Star is very pretty!" Patsy spoke up as well.

"Yeah with that long silver hair and green eyes you're gorgeous. Why would they think that?" Star, realizing she had brought this on herself, answered their question with a sigh.

"It's because of this." She showed them her tail. "I'm half-Septarian meaning I'm half-lizard. Most boys on my world don't like that." Lana immediately shouted at that.

"Well screw those bitches, lizards are beautiful!" The kids all gasped at her with Lola speaking up.

"Did you just say the b word?" Lana blushed a bit realizing what she had done. "Well for once I agree with you. I don't like lizards personally but you make it work Star and if those guys don't like it well screw them." The kids all agreed to that with Lazlo speaking up.

"I could be your boyfriend to keep them away." Patsy looked at him with shocked hurt in her eyes as Star replied.

"Whoa whoa whoa, thank you Lazlo but that's not needed. I already have a boyfriend." She then pointed to where Marco was. "My Marco." The kids all ohhh's again with Marco noticing this.

"Um, did I miss something?" Lola spoke up.

"Yeah, are you really dating a princess of all things?" Marco blushed slightly looking at Star before smiling.

"Well of course I am since I'm dating Star. And she's a beautiful one." He then moved close and peppered her cheek with kisses.

"Marco stop, there are kids watching."

"Awwwwwww." All the kids found it sweet, even the boys and Gretchen. Marco stopped when noticed they were back at camp.

"Oh we're back. Ok kids we will be meeting back together for dinner at the mess hall in 2 hours. After that it's campfire time!" The kids all cheered and raced off while Marco and Star separated watching the kids run off. "So I take it you had fun with them?" Star nodded happily as she replied.

"I didn't know kids could be like this when they were younger. That Lazlo and his group Jelly Bean patrol have some of the most interesting stories you could get from young kids, kind of like our group. And I like all of the others but Lana is the best; she's like a kid version of Helsinki." Marco shuddered at this slightly as he replied.

"It's… nice to hear that. Now as a junior counselor you're going to likely be working with a lot more kids than them so just a heads up." Star shrugged and headed towards the Mess hall.

"Gotta refuel Marco, see you later." Marco smiled as he waved and headed off only to run into 2 adult counselors including Ms. Dimartino and…

"Commander Hoo-ha!" Marco immediately saluted at attention. Standing a good 6'4" and broad enough to look squat with heavy muscles Commander Hoo-ha had quite the reputation. High up in the hierarchy even now with all the various scouting groups merging together, he commanded respect for being one of the last of the so called 'tomato scouts' a group of scouts who went through particularly hard training regimes that at this point actually had parts that were outlawed. He was also a respected military commander who retired into being a scout master and brought some much needed discipline into the new combined order all the scouts were getting involved with.

"Marco Diaz." His eyes roved over the boy inspecting every surface of the boy. "I see even now your form has not slacked. Parade Rest." Marco relaxed slightly with parted legs and his arms behind his back. "So care to explain the issue with this River and Tempest that has been ongoing?" Marco responded as a military private would.

"A family issue they have resolved now sir. I apologize for any damages they have caused as they are unaware of earth customs." Hoo-ha nodded.

"Understood private. I actually talked with them and I have pardoned them for their actions as this River has appealed to me in a way that I haven't seen since I was in Vietnam; that and he has agree to clean up all the damages he has caused. I notice your friends have also been pulling their weight which is a pleasant surprise aside from Alfonzo which is to be expected." He stared Marco in the eyes hard. "I also heard that you were in a relationship with this Star Butterfly. Explain."

"Star and I are officially dating sir. I have already met her parents and they approve of me sir." Hoo-ha nodded in approval.

"Outstanding. I heard she is in fact royalty from another country and if rumors are correct another world. Is that correct private?"

"Sir yes sir."

"Normally I don't do this but this is a special situation that reflects on all scouting orders. What is your view on her private?" Marco paused for a second before speaking in a more relaxed tone.

"She is the most amazing person I have ever met. She is my best-friend and so much more sir. Her parents, especially her father, have set a high bar for me simply because of what it would entitle dating a princess in what is the equivalent of a medieval kingdom. I am willing to overcome every obstacle simply because I love her sir. And I do realize I am still only 14 but…" Marco found himself choking up at this.

"Understood private, I have a similar relationship to my wife." His face went from stern to sad for a split second. "I hesitated in going Vietnam only because I had to leave her behind." His face went back to normal. "You have some impressive achievements behind you and likely some more I don't know of from what I can tell with this River fellow. Know this private, by striking this high you now represent your scouting cause and the principles of our orders to an entire nation: Trustworthiness, Loyalty, Helpfulness, Friendliness, Courteousness, Kindness, Obedience, Cheerfulness, Thriftiness, Bravery, Cleanliness, and Reverence. We have high expectations of you private both officially and personally. Do not let us down, of course…" His face cracked a smile. "… I think I don't need to worry about that. Dismissed." Marco saluted and ran off with Hoo-ha speaking to Dimartino. "And no I wasn't being too hard on the boy just reminding him of what he represents." Dimartino smiled and nodded.

"You need not concern yourself uncle, Marco is a responsible and kind boy. He will do just fine." They walked off with smiles on their faces.

Star looked out over the camp as all the kids were doing activities in their 'free time' including swimming, sailing, and playing baseball. 'Gee that's better.' Star thought to herself as she finished about half of her bulk bar feeling the hunger subside once again. Looking up again she noticed Alfonzo and Chloe approaching her with Chloe looking a bit nervous with Alfonzo backing her up as she approached Star.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Chloe inhaled and exhaled before speaking.

"I'm going to come out to everyone… by telling them I'm Brittany." Star blinked in confusion at this.

"What…. prompted this?" Chloe and Alfonzo looked at each other with Alfonzo commenting.

"You still haven't officially forgiven her for what she did Star. I get that you implied it but…" Star actually cut him off.

"Wait I haven't?" She immediately hugged Chole. "Because of all you have done then I officially forgive you and I'm sorry I left you hanging in the wind for so long." Chloe gasped at the tough hug with Star backing off. "Sorry sorry, I still do that a lot for some reason." Everyone stood there a little awkwardly for a second before they all chuckled before Brittany spoke.

"It's ok. I was going to do it after the campfire tonight." Star smiled and, noticing Chloe was shivering slightly gave her a half-hug.

"Hey, everything's going to be ok. You got this girl because we are going to be behind you every step of the way." Chloe chuckled at this as the three walked off… and Tempest silently stumbled away with a shocked look on his face from where he overheard the conversation.

"… so that's what I heard!" The whole group of friends was gathered to hear him in person; Marco, Janna, Oskar, and Ferguson; or by mirror; Ponyhead, Dennis, Alexis, Kelly, Rico, Starfan13, Jackie, and Tom were on a mirror call with them all. Everyone remained silent for a second, even Floyd and Nacho who were listening in the background. After awkwardly glancing at each other for a few seconds Marco spoke up.

"I think we should forgive her." Some of the group looked at him shock with Ponyhead outright rejecting this.

"Yo earth turd, you thick in the head? That gurl Brittany is a mean girl with a capitol m AND g." Alexis commented on this.

"I don't know. While she seemed like someone just as bad as Sophia Rose there is no way she could have just faked this whole thing for so long. Bitches like that need praise and worship non-stop." Starfan13 spoke up.

"Well then why was she hiding this whole time if she is a 'good person' supposedly?" Tom responded to this.

"Well she was afraid of you guys obviously." They all turned towards his mirror with Tom commenting. "I mean come on, Star forgave me in front of everyone and still several of you hated me for what I had done. What would be so different about that with Brittany Wong?" Everyone looked at each other for a second with Marco speaking up.

"That's why I think we should forgive her. I mean technically it was up to Star whether she should be forgiven or not and Star forgave her." Everyone nodded conceding his point with Janna speaking up.

"Ok, now with that drama out of the way…" She looked at everyone with a questioning gaze for a few seconds and when no one spoke up she continued. "… why did you call us here Marco?" Marco smiled as he replied.

"Well the end of summer is upcoming and when all is said and done while we will still have scissors to access each other we're going to be separated all over. Jackie and Tom will be in France, me and Star will be going to Mewni, and all of us will be busy with school or other things. So my thought is how about a last hurrah?" Rico's eyebrows went up as he spoke.

"Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" Tom spoke up next.

"Are you suggesting what I suggested to him?" Jackie spoke up.

"Are you three suggesting what I hope you're suggesting?" Oskar spoke up at that.

"They are suggesting what I'm pretty sure I would suggest?" Tempest spoke up.

"Then you must be suggesting what I would suggest?" Starfan13 spoke up.

"Are you all suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" Dennis spoke up.

"Is it what me and Alphonso were willing to suggest ourselves?" Alexis groaned and held her head as she replied.

"What are you all suggesting?!" Marco spoke up at that.

"Interdimensional road trip! We go around seeing various sites in the cosmos before another year starts." Everyone agreed to that with a small cheer. "Star and I have been thinking of this for a little while actually." Rico gave him double thumbs up.

"Hey two way thumbs up for our leading man and lady eh." Starfan13 spoke up.

"I get to see the cosmos now, yes!" Ferguson smiled as he spoke up.

"I've been waiting for this moment my whole life… I think." Janna spoke up.

"Well what are we all waiting for, go get parent's permission or not and pick out sites you want to see people. I'm eager to get this started the minute Marco is done at camp." Another small cheer erupted with Ponyhead speaking up.

"Oh boom yeah, this is gonna be awesome. We getting on a party bus and not stopping till we droppin. Later ya'll." Ponyhead hung up with various goodbyes being exchanged as more hung up with Marco speaking up.

"Alright let's find Star, Alphonzo, and Chloe and get to the campfire and what are you doing here actually?" He turned towards Ferguson who shrugged as he replied.

"Janna said she found something supernatural here worth investigating so I tagged along." Marco shrugged.

"Whatever just don't let them see you Janna; Commander Hoo-ha is not a guy to mess with." As he, Oskar, Tempest, Floyd, and Nacho; 'Why is Nacho even here?' Marco thought to himself, walked away Janna spoke to Ferguson.

"Oh don't worry about Hoo-ha or whatever his name is we got séances to start?" Ferguson double took at this.

"A what now?" Janna smirked at him. "And you honestly believe that after our failure with Bon-Bon." Janna fumed for a second before answering.

"We did Bon-Bon's in the wrong location at the wrong time. I got confirmation from JankJak that the event was going to take place tonight in this campground. Just half a mile from where the campfire is taking place in a grove of trees." Ferguson felt chills run up his spine as he smiled.

"So what do we need to do the job?" Janna smiled and opened a backback.

"Got it all here. I had to finish it up with some items I 'liberated' from the camp but it's no biggie in the long run. Now let's find this place and see if, like his candles, Bon-Bon will return." As the duo set off Ferguson smiled to himself thinking.

'Tonight is going to be awesome… so why do I feel like everything is about to go horribly wrong?' He glanced out of the corner of his eye seeing something flit in the shadows but ignored it… overlooking a Terrible Terror dragon watching them.

Sloth from 'The Croods': Dun dun duuuuuuun.

WH: I think we all know where this is heading folks... or do we?

OP: No I think they do.

Janna: No I think they don't. *the two get in a stare off*

WH: Regardless, sorry for the long non-posting time. Not only did this chapter feel awkward to write for some reason but we are down to a skeleton crew at work and I'm being worked overtime routinely. I also have trouble sleeping at times, I had to take sleeping pills three nights in a row to get proper rest so I could finish this. Regardless its done now and the action can start. But first...

Audience: Guest reviews.

The Book of Eli: Thank you. With Star and company it always turns into a fun mess. The only reason I didn't include Lucy was I didn't think of it at the time. But you will see her... eventually.

Imposter: It's good to be back, hopefully I stay back. More will be coming regardless of the effort I have to put in.
